So, there I am, with Pikachu by my side, lost in a foggy mountain mystery, and we can hardly see a thing. But then, out of nowhere, two lights burst through the misty veil, and boom – there they are, Solgaleo and Lunala, the legendary Pokémon of the Alola Islands, right in front of us.

They cast their eyes down on me, and even though they don't speak, there's this unspoken understanding between us. It's like we're connected on some deeper level. However, it did not last for long. As Solgaleo and Lunala nodded in a way that only legendary Pokémon can, and then, poof! They disappear, leaving behind a beam of light that creates something I've never seen before.

Out of nowhere, another Pokémon appears from a bright light. It was this adorable, mysterious Pokémon with a gaseous body that swirls with colors from violet to light blue. Its little face, with those beady yellow eyes, circular blue cheeks, and a tiny mouth, gives it this mischievous charm. A single blue dot on its back, a golden half-circlet dividing it in half – it's like a cosmic work of art.

I can't help myself; it's too cute. So, I reach down, scoop it up in my arms, and that's when it happens. In the blink of an eye, I'm jolted awake. No misty mountains, no legendary Pokémon – just me, in my bed at the Champion Tower in the Orange Islands. Talk about a wake-up call!

The dream – oh man, that dream. It hit me like a Charizard's Flamethrower, and for a moment, I'm just gasping for air, trying to shake off the echoes of the lingering feelings. I take deep breaths trying to get a grip on my own racing heart. It's like I've been on the fastest Rapidash ride of my life, and now I'm back in the real world, trying to make sense of it all. But here's the kicker – I can't shake the feeling that the dream wasn't just some late-night snack-induced fantasy. Nope, it was more than that.

Through my aura I could feel it. This dream, it wasn't just any dream. It was like a prophecy, a sneak peek into the future, and not the kind where you find a Snorlax blocking your way. No, this was the big leagues – Legendaries, again. And let me tell you, I'm not thrilled about it. Not one bit. Dealing with Legendaries means trouble with a capital T, and I've had my fair share of legendary escapades. Being Arceus' Chosen One sounded cool and all, but truth be told, it's a double-edged sword. Chaos and danger follow me like a stray Meowth follows a can of sardines.

I sigh, rubbing the back of my head, feeling the weight of the responsibility. Being a Champion, I thought it meant I could finally catch a break, enjoy some peaceful times with my Pokémon. But nope, the universe decided to throw another curveball my way. And honestly, I'm fed up. Who needs this kind of drama? Can't a Pokémon Trainer catch a break? This dream just proved that the Pokémon world has other plans for me. It's like, "Hey, Ash, remember us? Legendary Pokémon and cosmic prophecies? Yeah, you can't escape that easy." But here's the thing – I know deep down that I can't turn my back on it. I'm the guy who dives headfirst into trouble with a grin, ready to take on whatever challenges come my way.

I turned to my left, and there's Gary, giving me this look like I just unleashed a Hyper Beam in my sleep. We're sharing a bed – don't even ask why, I get enough teasing from my mom already. I huff, sitting up, and he shoots me this concerned glance, probably thinking I've lost my marbles.

"Hey, Ashy, you good?" Gary asks, his eyebrows doing this concerned dance on his face.

"Yeah, yeah, just a weird dream, you know?" I mumble, running a hand through my hair. It's a mess, probably sticking up in all directions like an Oddish in a windstorm. But who cares about bed hair when you've just tangled with Legendaries in dreamland?

Gary, being the ever-curious guy, leans on his elbow, eyes narrowing. "Weird dream? Spill, Ashy. You're not usually the one to be all cryptic about dreams."

I let out a sigh, feeling the weight of the dream settle on my shoulders. "Solgaleo, Lunala, this cute gaseous Pokémon – the whole legendary shebang. Again."

Gary raises an eyebrow, probably thinking I've overdosed on rare candies or something. "Legendaries, huh? What's the deal this time?"

I shrug, my frustration bubbling up. "Who knows, Gary? It's like they've got a subscription to my dreams. But this time, I can feel it. My gut says this is the last round. No more Legendary shenanigans after this."

He gives me this skeptical look, like I've just told him Magikarp can fly. "Last round? How can you be so sure?"

"It's my aura intuition, babe," I say, half-smirking. "I've got this feeling, like this year is the grand finale. No more prophecies, no more Legendary tag-teams. Just good old Pokémon battles and a bit of peace for once."

Gary leans back, a smirk playing on his lips. "You, Ash Ketchum, predicting the end of the Legendary saga? Now I've seen everything."

I chuckle, feeling a weird mix of determination and exhaustion. "Believe it or not, Gary, this is the last hurrah. After this, it's back to regular Pokémon Trainer problems – battles, rivalries, and hunting down the next criminal that dares to come after us."

"I fear that you have a different definition of normal compared to the rest of us," he rolls his eyes, but there's a flicker of something in there – maybe skepticism, maybe a bit of hope. "Well, if you're right, I guess I'll owe you a burger or something. But I'm not holding my breath, Ashy."

"Deal," I say, I leaned to lay a chaste kiss on his lips. I now know that my Legendary escapades affect more than just myself, that I have people waiting for me back home, concerned about my safety. "Just watch, Gary. This year, we're closing the Legendary chapter, and then it's back to our regularly scheduled Pokémon adventures."

And as we shared a grin, we laid back to cuddle and get some more sleep before tomorrow. After all, it was going to be a long day. The morning sun was barely peeking through the clouds when Gary and I reluctantly peeled ourselves off the bed. The dream lingered in my mind like a stubborn Smeargle painting, but there was no time to dwell.

After a quick breakfast, I geared up for my journey to the Alola Islands. My Galarian Slowking teleported us to Melemele Island, and to keep things low-key, Galarian Slowbro was on crowd control duty, using her psychic abilities to make us invisible to prying eyes. As we all explored the islands, trying to pinpoint where the cloud-like Pokemon could be, Pikachu and I had a very much needed heart-to-heart conversation.

"We gotta talk about this Legendary stuff, Ash." Pikachu started, those little cheeks crackling with a mix of concern and relief.

I nodded, knowing exactly what Pikachu meant. "Yeah, buddy, I get it. Legendaries mean trouble, and I've dragged us into it more times than I can count."

"That Is not on you, we all know you never asked for it," Pikachu tilted his head, those eyes of his telling a story of shared battles and countless adventures. "Charizard will be disappointed, though. He is always ready to throw hands down when Legendaries show up. That this year would be the last…"

I chuckled, ruffling Pikachu's ears. "True, true. But hey, Pikachu, no more Legendary drama. We can finally chill."

Pikachu's eyes softened, a mix of gratitude and nostalgia. "I won't have to worry about you getting hurt anymore, Ash. That's a relief."

I reached out, gently nuzzling Pikachu, who let out a pleased purr. "We've faced the Legendary craziness together, partner. But it's time for a new chapter. No more looming dangers or prophecies. Just us, our Pokémon, and some good old adventures."

Pikachu grinned, a spark of excitement lighting up those rosy cheeks. "Speaking of which, what do you think Charizard will say about only having four Legendaries for a spar in the Orange Islands?"

"Oh, he will be disappointed, but he's gonna have a blast. A Legendary showdown in the backyard – who wouldn't want that?" I burst into laughter, picturing the look on Charizard's face. "If it bothers him that much, he could always go to Alto Mare to visit our old friend."

It was all going smoothly until Slowbro nudged me toward a peculiar cloud-shaped Pokémon. "Master, look there!" Slowbro pointed, and my eyes followed her direction. There it was, the little cloud Pokémon from my dream, just floating around, having a peaceful snooze.

I scratched my head, exchanging a glance with Pikachu. "Well, ain't that something? Looks like our Legendary friend decided to take a nap in the Alolan sunshine."

Without thinking, I scooped up the slumbering cloud Pokémon. It was surprisingly light, all fluffy and serene. I couldn't help but chuckle – caught a Legendary Pokémon right after breakfast, just another day in the life of Ash Ketchum. So, into my bag it goes, and off we go to the Pokémon School. I figured, as I was already here, I might as well pay them a visit.

As we stroll into the school, I'm met with a sight that catches me off guard – Kiawe and Lana, going at it in some serious training. Kiawe, with his fiery determination, and Lana, all focused like a Psyduck trying to concentrate. I can't help but raise an eyebrow, impressed by their dedication.

"Hey there, Professor!" I call out to Kukui, who's busy overseeing the training. "What's the deal? Did someone declare a Pokémon battle marathon?"

Kukui grins, a gleam of excitement in his eyes. "Nah, Ash, these two decided that after losing against Misty and Brock, that they will become strong trainers. They're setting their sights on winning the Manalo Conference. They're aiming high, my man!"

Now, you gotta imagine my surprise. I knew that Professor Kukui's class had flown to Kanto to visit Oak's Corral and that Professor Kukui had arranged for them to have a peak into what it means to be a part of the Gym Challenge. But Misty and Brock really left an impact, and my students, they're not taking it lightly. The mention of the Manalo Conference hits me right in the feels. These kids are taking the Tauros of life by the horns, and I can't help but feel this surge of pride.

"Winning the Manalo Conference, huh?" I say, a grin spreading across my face. "That's the spirit! You guys are making Alola proud!"

Kiawe wipes some sweat from his brow, giving me this determined nod. "You bet, Ash! We're gonna show everyone the strength of Alolan Trainers!"

Lana, not one to be outdone, adds with a spark in her eyes, "And maybe we'll even give you a run for your money, Ash!"

I could not stop myself from bursting out in laughter. It's been so long since someone had challenged me like that. I missed it. Coming here was the right decision, I needed this kind of normalcy to ground me after the dream and finding the cloud Pokémon. For now I will focus on my students, Legendaries can me tomorrow-me's problem.
