At the end of the school day Kurt takes Blaine to the choirroom. "You're ready?" he asks and when Blaine nods they go in together and first talk to Mr Schue. "This is Mr. Schue. He teaches spanish and is our glee teacher. He's nice" Kurt tells as they go to him. Then he smiles at Blaine and says "Good luck Blaine". It sounds so beautiful when Kurt says his name. Way better than reading it over and over again, imagining what it might sound like. Blaine smiles after Kurt as the latter goes to a seat and holds one for Blaine. Then the younger takes a deep breath and approaches Mr. Schue.
"Mr Schue?" Blaine asks "Hi I'm Blaine Anderson. I'm new here and I'd like to audition". He doesn't know why he's so confident but the day went well and Blaine feels welcomed. The teacher smiles "Welcome Blaine. Let me just start and then the floor is all yours". Then he turns to the class "Okay everybody. First of all hello and second we have a new student who wants to audition so let's hear his voice". Blaine smiles but now that all eyes are on him he actually feels a little nervous. Still he takes a chair and the guitar from the side. He takes a deep breath and looks up, his eyes meeting the blue of Kurts. His best friend smiles encouraging and after another deep breath he feels less nervous. He can do this.

When the last note stops the whole room cheers and Blaine grins happily. Mr. Schue comes to him, shakes his hand and says "I think I can speak in behave from all of us when I say Blaine Anderson welcome to the New Direction". Again everyone cheers and comes to hug Blaine. Kurt waits until everyone hugged the new member. Only then he hugs him too and whispers "That was amazing". He was truly amazed by his voice. "Thank you" Blaine whispers back.
"Now I have to hear you sing too" he says when they break the hug. He knows that Kurt used to be unsure about his voice because it's high but by now and with the time passing he got braver and now he likes his voice. Since he's with his friends in the New Directions. Blaine is proud that Kurt now likes his voice and didn't let himself get beaten up about it from some bullies. "I think I have an idea" Kurt says smiling before whispering somethign to the band.

Everyone sings and dances including Blaine who feels more and more welcome in this group. He sure misses his Dalton friends but this is cool too. And Kurts voice? Mesmerizing. If it's possible for Blaine to fall even more in love with Kurt he just did. He needs to call Wes tonight and tell him everything. Or in a group call so he can tell Nick and Jeff too.
After Glee Club Kurt leads the way to the café he talked about earlier. Lima Beans. The two friends order coffee and take a table by a window. "So. You and your mom finally got away from your dad hm?" Kurt asks. He can't avoid the topic any longer. "Yes. I could tell you everything but I wrote a letter that I wanted to drop off today. Maybe just read it?" Blaine asks and takes the letter out of his bag. "Yeah sure" Kurt answers. He takes the letter and starts reading. Blaine just watches Kurt reading and smiling in between. Blaine smiles too, still not believing that this is real.
"William McKinley high school but we all just call it McKinley" Kurt says when he finishes the letter "I'm sure it's hard to be away from your friends. I would miss mine too". "I know. They are amazing people" Blaine smiles. "And yes I missed you too and I was really really worried about you" Kurt opens up about how he felt. Then he notices "You only live a couple of blocks away from me". "Awesome!" his friend says and laughs "I still can't believe that I actually met you". "Me neither" Kurt laughs.
For a while the two best friends talk about everythign and nothing untnil Blaine says that he should go home slowly. Like promised before Kurt walks Blaine home but it might just be an excuse to spend more time with him.
"Thanks for bringing me home" Blaine says when they stay in front of the house. "Anytime" Kurt answers and jsut as he wants to say goodbye the door opens. Angela comes out and says "Blaine. Who is the friend you brought with you?". Blaine looks at her and then to the kitchen window where his mom stands at the sink and apologetic shrugs her shoulder. "Hey aunt Angela. This is my friend Kurt" Blaine says. "Kurt? The Kurt you've been talking about all the time?" she asks and while Kurt smiles he can see that Blaine goes red as a tomato.
"It's nice to meet you" the woman says and instead of shaking his hand she pulls Kurt into a hug. "Do you want to come in and eat dinner with us?" she asks but Kurt shakes his head "I have to go home now too but I'll show Blaine the town tomorrow and I'd like to invite the three of you for a welcome dinner even if only two of you are new here".
Happily they agree on 6.30 pm tomorrow and Blaine and Kurt hug goodbye. They also exchange numbers so Blaine can text Kurt if he needs help finding a room and Kurt should write when he's at home. Blaine goes in and and Kurt goes home. He needs to tell Finn everything about this afternoon with Blaine. He also needs to tell Burt and Carol that they will have guests over for dinner tomorrow. Blaine too has to tell his friends everything so he calls them after dinner and tells them that he met Kurt. The Kurt. His Kurt.
