"Did he just wink at you, Yang?" Blake asked, who was seated next to her. Yang shrugged and leaned back in her seat. Her expression changed to a look of complete indifference and boredom. "I don't know, and I don't care."

But in truth, she felt the opposite. She was confused and embarrassed at the fact that she couldn't understand this hunter in front of her. She was the type who would head straight into battle without hesitation. But when it came to him, she didn't know how to react

In the battlefront, SSSN formed a circle, discussing strategies and tactics. CRDL, on the other hand, were simply looking around with careless confidence. They were the team at Beacon Academy with the lowest scores, not because of their semblance, but because they were arrogant idiots who lacked teamwork.

"Okay, team. This is the plan." Sun instructed his teammates, making hand gestures. "New guy. You are our secret weapon. I have faith in your abilities." Sun smiled broadly and patted Yin on the shoulder. Yin nodded, understanding his role in the game. Sun was impressed by his composure and poker face. Knowing that it would be an exciting fight.

With the last call, the two teams separated. Heading to different parts of the map. From afar, Yang saw that Sun and Neptune stayed in sight of the opposing team, while Scarlet accommodated the far-right rock. Nobody could see where Yin went, as if he had disappeared from the fight altogether.

CRDL's team spread out, but still kept an eye on their apponent. Cardin made the first move, running towards Sun with his full sword drawn. Sun leaped up high in the air, before then dropping on Cardin's back, making him fall to the ground. Russel came in from behind Neptune and gave a blow towards him.

"Woah!" Neptune exclaimed, narrowly dodging the hit. He then swung around and tripped Russel over with his weapon. They continued to battle, taking and receiving hits from one another. But in the end Sun and Neptune were able to defeat them and send them flying through the air towards the outer boundaries.

The audience roared, the sound vibrating in everyone's chests. Jaune's team cheered them on, Nora's voice obviously reaching its highest pitch. "Way to go, Sun!" Blake called out, standing up in her seat. Sun heard her call and looked towards the audience where she was. He gave her a full-on grin, seeming pleased that he got her attention.

Looks like Cardin and Russel are out for the count!." The Professor said through the speakers. "Now let's see what happened to our other contestants."

The massive screen high above the arena changed to show that Scarlet was in battle with Dove. They fought head-on, giving deadly blows with their weapons. Their semblances assisted them in the fight and they were evenly matched, but Scarlet was able to get the upper hand when Dove made a mistake. He underestimated his opponent and failed to see the double meaning of his move. Scarlet tackled Dove and wrapped his legs underneath him. Bringing him down, then delivering a massive blow to the side which made him fly all the way out of the arena, like a real bird.

Sun jumped up in victory.

Ahhh yeah!" Neptune shouted. "Way to go Scarlet."

"He was very clever with that move." Yin said next to Neptune, suddenly at his side.

Neptune shrieked and leaped back, touching Sun's side. "H.how did you get there so fast?!" He pointed at him, his arm shaking.

Yin shrugged, his face not changing. Sun looked past Neptune to look at Yin. "How did your battle go? We haven't seen Sky'"

Yin looked up at the screen above them. "He's there."

They looked up to see that Sky was defeated, not only that, he was the first to be thrown out of the arena. All of the other students noticed as well. Some hopped out of their seets, while others shouted in amazement.

Ruby's eyes widened in surprise, before looking towards her friends. "That's incredible, I have never seen that before." She smiled in awe.

Weiss nodded. "That was a very interesting conclusion, one I still can't understand." She touched her chin in contemplation.

Yang swallowed. Figuring she might as well tell them. "Hey, you know when I said I met a strange hunter?" She looked away and rubbed her hands."Well that's him."

They all looked at her for a second, before speaking over each other, asking who he was and what his semblance was. How he won.

"Well, why don't you just ask him?" Blake instructed calmly. Yang paused, she didn't even think of that. It felt like giving up. She wanted to understand him, but at the same time forget him all together.

Yang abruptly stood up and walked off.

Ruby grinned. "Well, I think that worked."

Yin walked towards his room, which he shared with Sun, Scarlet, and Neptune. He heard the unmistakable sound of angry footsteps behind him. With a controlled posture, he looked around to see Yang, standing in front of him.

She placed her hands on her hips and leaned toward him. "What is your semblance? Why are you here? What's your background? How did you defeat Sky without anyone seeing?" She took a deep breath and leaned back, seeming satisfied that she was able to ask so much.

He sighed and looked at her, tilting his head. "Why do you want to know so badly?" He asked.

She thought for a moment, coming to a conclusion. "You're a mystery for me to find out."

His lips twitched, suppressing a smile. "Oh really?"

Yang blinked in confusion. "Are you insulting me?" She felt her eyes darken, knowing she was getting too worked up.

This time he smiled. "No. But you certainly have some anger issues."

Yang stomped her foot, knowing he was right but she still felt defensive. "No I don't." She glared at him.

He turned his head away and covered his mouth with his hand. Yang looked at him, not understanding. "What are you...? Hey! Are you laughing at me?!"

He continued to laugh, not seeming to hold it back. After a bit he calmed down and looked back at her. She saw a new expression in him, one that looked like fondness.

He kept a small smile on, his eyes seeming lighter with his golden flecks.

"How about we make a deal. Let's have a battle. If you win, I'll tell you everything. If I win, you have to try and contain your anger issues. Even though they're funny as." He smiled at the last part.

Yang looked away in contemplation, thinking of her odds. She returned with a grin, knowing she was a powerful Huntress.

"Ok, deal. You better prepare yourself though." She held out her hand as an agreement.

He looked at it, reaching towards her. Yin's hand slid across hers, touching each of her fingers before closing over with a shake.

She looked up at him, seeing a promise in his eyes.

She couldn't back down now.
