Over the next few hours Ace is focusing on her work before she knows; she knows she feels arms come around her, "I'm here."

"Graham?"

"It's me, my love." Ace turns around and is greeted by the man who has her heart.

"I don't know what was in the message, I asked Nyssa not to tell me."

Graham takes both of Ace's hands in hers and drags her to the couch, "Ace, when I was on my way here, I got a call from Paul."

"What was it about?"

"He said that if I didn't stop supporting you, he would give out my name and find a way to kill me."

"WHAT?!" Ace tried to get up.

"Ace, I will be ok, I will be staying at UNIT HQ and so will you."

"Me?"

"If you want to, I want to make sure you are safe too," he brushes some hair out of her face, "so what do you say you and I take up residence in army and scientific headquarters. Kate already gave you permission to make your Nitro."

"Oh Graham."

"I will be ok Honey; I will not let anything happen to me. Kate may have told me that she knows a reporter who was trained by Sarah Jane."

"Rani Chandra."

"You've heard of her?"

"I have, she's good."

"Well, Rani will be writing a piece about how Paul is threatening your boyfriend, because he is supporting you and loves you for everything you are." Ace leans forward taking her hands out his his and putting her head in her hands.

"I don't want you to go into hiding," Ace gets up and makes a quick call to her lawyers. "Now that is done, you have some food?"

"I do, I already dropped off Nyssa's."

"Good, you will be spending the rest of the day here and meet my lawyers to get a protection order drawn up."

"Ok, but can I still spend as much time with you as possible."

"Of course, you and me, we will be together for all of this," Ace climbs back onto the couch and kisses him fully on the lips. They both moan into the kiss when there is a knock on the door they break apart with a resounding pop of their lips.

"I see the two of you are close as ever," Tegan says as she comes in. "I am here to make sure Graham gets to UNIT safely."

"Graham is going to stay here with me today," Ace looks at Graham who smiles brightly back at her.

"Then I am going to check on my wife." Tegan goes to her wife's office, "did you tell Ace any of it?"

"No, I only told Graham what pertains to him, and that he should convince Ace to stay with him."

"Make sure I never see that weasel."

"Oh believe me, if I get my hands on him." Tegan walks up to her wife.

"I love it when you get protective of anyone."

"I just can't fathom anyone being like this."

"That's because you have a heart of gold my love."

"Not when it comes to Paul, I want to see him fry," Nyssa leaves the office to head to Ace's.

"Nyss, leave those two alone for now." Behind the door Ace was settling with her head in Graham's lap with some of the paperwork she had to read. Graham is reading on his phone while absent mindedly running his other hand through Ace's hair.

"That isn't true."

"What isn't," Ace looks up at Graham.

"That when we met at your Jazz benefit we went home together. It also says that was our first meeting."

"Our first meeting was a little hotter than that club."

"And more explosive." Ace reaches her arm up and brings Graham's head down for a kiss. "Though we didn't do that."

"I did kiss your cheek."

"How can I forget it made my cheek tingle."

"And my lips, I usually don't like stubble, but I did with you."

"I hadn't shaved in a few days."

"That's fine, you shave it if you want to."

"I want to." He smiles back down at her.

"Ok," Ace goes back to reading the document she was reading, and Graham goes back to his phone.

"I should alert Ryan to what is going on."

"You haven't yet?"

"I guess I could've called him after I hung up with Kate, but something else was on my mind."

"Making sure I was ok."

"Yeah you, but if Paul goes after Ryan."

"You think he would?"

"I don't know, there isn't much tying us together, but I need to make sure Ryan is ok." Graham calls Ryan and after a slightly intense phone call with his grandson he ends the call.

"It didn't sound great."

"He will leave the country until everything is solved and while he's happy that I am happy, he wished that I told him that I was getting serious about you."

"You're serious about me?"

"Very, I know most don't get serious about the first person they date after losing a spouse, but you are special."

"It's understandable that Ryan wanted to know you are moving on from Grace. We haven't even met yet."

"I want the two of you to meet, the two most important people in my life."

"You are one of the most important people in my life too along with my brother, Tegan and Nyssa." Ace and Graham go back to what they were doing when Tegan and Nyssa enter.

"Awww how cute is that," Tegan says loudly as possible.

Ace sits up as Graham's hand drops from her hair, "hello again Tegan."

"At least this time you are not making out."

"That can be arranged," Ace said while turning to face Graham as her office phone rings.
