11. Crossbell

Dateline August 19th Saturday 1206

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Eryn, the Hidden Village)

"Good news everyone." Roselia greeted. "As you're all aware, we only knew the location of ten singularities. But last night, we managed to narrow down the last two as well."

"Really?" Emma asked

"All right! So where are they?" Levi asked

"One is below Heimdallr. The other is somewhere in the Crossbell province." Roselia answered.

"Crossbell?" Juna asked in concern.

"So one of the final ones is in Juna's homeland." Venti hummed

"Neither of those are going to be easy to investigate." Machias stated.

"Me, Elliot, Sara and Fie tried to get into Heimdallr, but it was more difficult then expected." Annette trailed off.

"Yeah. The security was so tight we couldn't even get inside the city." Elliot nodded.

"And if we're gonna be combining through the underground tunnels looking for this thing, we'll need as much help as we can get." Sara added

"If Rufus is there, then Crossbell will be a challenge as well." Jusis nodded

"The leader of the Ironbloods, Governor General Rufus Albarea." Alisa paued

"He's effectively the second-most powerful man in the Empire." Musse added

"It's possible he'll be elsewhere, scheming up some strategy to use against the Republic." Jusis said. "Either way, we need to have a discussion about how to distribute our members."

Juna got up. "Um, can I be part of the group that goes to Crossbell? I've got friends and family there. I need to know they're all right."

"I second to that." Levi said to everyone. "Knowing that is the case, new Class VII will journey forth to Crossbell."

"Are you sure, Levi?"

"Of course. I'm also worried your family and Crossbell state of affairs. Are you guys okay with it?" Levi turn to the new Class VII.

"I agreed that we should go to Crossbell." Kurt nodded

"Don't wanna check out your family's hall instead?" Ash asked

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about my family. But they can handle themselves. I have to believe that."

"They're practitioners of the Vander style. They should be fine." Altina nodded.

"Then it settles. New Class VII will be heading off to Crossbell then." Levi said

"Thanks. I'll be counting on you!" Juna smiled

Musse giggled. "What do you all think?"

"That's fine by me. New Class VII takes Crossbell." Elliot nodded

"In that case, take me with you.' Kirito said. "I wanted to visit Crossbell as well. I'm curious to see the place before it was annex."

"Yes. I also like to see." Asuna nodded

"Me too!" Yui nodded.

"I'll come along too. I want to see more of places I haven't been before." Eugeo said.

"In that case, count me in too." Sora said. "Donald, Goofy, you in?"

"Do you have to ask?" Donald asked

"Ah-hyuck. We're with you right away!" Goofy chuckled.

"Mind if we come along too?" Erza asked as Team Natsu nodded.

"If you guys want to, then sure." Levi said. "Though I worried that it might be a large group. We don't want to get too much attention."

"No worries, we can split up and meet up once we got information going." Gray suggest.

"But we should talk about how can we get into Crossbell." Lucy pointed out.

Roselia nodded. "Indeed. It's a question of distance. We don't have any teleportations stones in place to take you there, either."

"Yeah, that is a problem." Levi nodded. "Well, why not allow me to use my magic and teleport us to Crossbell."

"Normally I would agree. However, the question is WHERE exactly."

"Hmm... you do have a point. I remember the places we could teleport. But we don't know who or what is there. Traveling on foot and on horseback is too much time-wasting. Especially with the RMP watching the trains."

"I'd asked the Weissland Army to assist us, but they're on high alert right now." Musse said.

"Maybe I can help." Alisa offered.

"Oh? You got an idea Alisa?" Kirito asked

"I can't make anything promising, but I'll try. I need to get in touch with an old friend first."

"I'll leave this matter in your hands, then. Spend the rest of the day as you please." Roselia said. "Rest up and make sure you're fully prepared to tackle the last singularities."

"Hehe, liking the view my Pokemon?" Musse asked as her Pokemon respond with a yes in their own Pokemon language.

"Ah, there you are Musse." Juna said as she approached her.

"Ah, Juna. I was just taking in the view with my Pokemon from up here."

"Oh, yeah? Look at you, though! That outfit suits you pretty well. It's form-fitting and sleek, yet cute and lightweight all at once. And that lace on the tights? Now that's a subtle touch of Musse, fi I ever saw now."

"My, what a discerning eye you have, Juna." Musse giggled. "I'd packed this outfit, especially for use in the field, just in case. It would seem I made the right call. By the way, you came across Erynflowers during your field exercises in April, no?"

"That's right." Juan nodded. "The Archbishop of Saint-Arkh requested them for us. Bet he never thought there'd be a awhile village clock-full of them! Wait a sec... How did you know what they were, Musse?"

"Vita told me about them, actually. They say its scent can arouse certain... feelings. And quite potently, at that."

"I-I never heard anything about that... I just thought it smelled nice, was all. Hold on. You're not planning on using them for something shady, are you?"

Musse giggled. "Do you ever need to ask?"

"Why do I get the feeling you did..."

"I see. So that's what going on..." Kirito rub his chin.

"Right. He and Professor Lughman are definitely the same person. His eyes and hair may be different now, but there's no doubt about it. He's the head of the Black Workshop."

"Now that he reveal himself, I imagine you're having a tough time, aren't you Alisa?" Yui asked

"I guess so." Alisa sighed. "Still, he doesn't sound like the father I knew, that's for sure. The way I remember him, he was always a gentle, straightforward kind of man. I have trouble imagining him without his glasses, let alone with this completely different personality."

"I can imagine." Kirito fold his arm. "Even if someone change their hair color and eyes, they're still the same person. Like Rean and Levi for example. His Ogre power change his appearance. While Levi's power is... what is his power exactly?"

"Not even know what his power is. But what we do know is it's something a polar opposite." Alisa answered.

"Right. Still, I'm a bit worried about Rean though. Knowing him by now, he's probably felt the strong responsibility about the burdens he carried."

"That is exactly like him. Honestly, it does make me upset. Especially our time in the Northern War, Sutherland field exercise and in Bryonia Island." Altina sighed.

Alisa giggled. "I get how you feel. I've got mad at him plenty of times."

"You know, it's kinda comforting if you think about it. Rean has many people who care enough to get mad at him like that." Yui said.

"Yeah." Alisa giggled. "We're almost done finding those singularities. The next search will be our last one. We'll bring Rean back and give him a piece of our mind!"s

"Haha. You got it!" Kirito chuckled.

"Whoa! So a continent that magic is use in daily life?" Albrieo asked. "It's no different from us but it's outside of the Hexen Clan."

"Yeah and there are many types of magic! Like Emma Mirror Magic, and even other magic items she brought along." Noa added

"Man, it's super cool! I want to visit the Fiore!"

"Hehe, Glad you all like it so much." Wendy smile

"So what type of magic do you two wield?" Noa asked

"Me?" Lucy asked. "Well I wield Celestial Spirit Magic."

"Celestial Spirit Magic?!" The students yelled.

"Now now, Children, please don't yell. Though even I'm surprised about that." Witch Auler said.

"And I use Sky Dragon Slayer Magic." Wendy said

"SKY DRAGON SLAYER MAGIC!?" The Children's eye sparking, causing the Fairy Tail Mages to sweatdrop.

"A Magic where you can slay dragons?! Did you defeat dragons before?" Sigyn asked with sparking eyes.

"Ahaha..." Wendy scratch her cheek. "Yeah. That's where the name comes from. But there are more elements then just Sky Dragon Slayer Magic. But my magic is considered ancient. Or Lost Magic. In other words, rare. It's different to Wind."

'Really? I thought air and wind are the same thing." Albrieo said.

"Well you're not wrong. But Sky Dragon Slayer allow me to incorporate the element of air into my body. Whenever I got a scratch, All I do is eat the air around me and it heal me completely and my vitality."

"Whoa, that's so cool! Eating air and completely heal at the same time!" Noa exclaimed. "Magic in Fiore is unlike any magic we study."

"I know right! What does air taste like?" Sigyn asked

"Well, it varies actually from places. For example, the Hexen Clan. The air around here has a unique flavor. It's hard to describe. But I'm sure I can think of something to describe it."

"Wow! So are there other Dragon Slayer magic?" Albrieo asked

"Yeah. There's Fire, Iron, Lighting, Ice, Light, Shadow, so many different element kind."

"Whoa! I wanna learn Dragon Slayer magic!"

"Yeah I want to summon Celestial Spirits too! Oh there's so much to talk about!" Noa cheered as the children are talking about it.

"Hehe, they're quite lively, aren't they?" Lucy smiled

"Yes. But even I must admit, I never encounter magic like the one you wield before. Especially Celestial Spriit Magic. Emma told me about it. But do you think you can show us how Celestial Spirit Magic work?" Witch Auler asked

"Of course!" Lucy smiled.

"So this is where you and the others regain your strength?" Musse asked as she and New Class VII wonder around as they took care of some monsters.

"Yeah. It was tough to regain the strength we had two weeks ago. But we were able to take back." Juna nodded

"Hehe, Levi certainly wasn't going easy on us, but it help." Venti said before seeing Trial Chest. "Oh look a Trial Chest!"

"A Trial Chest?" Musse asked before they explain. "Ah." She turn to it. "You know, now that you mention it. I feel like it's calling me."

"Same. You ready, Egret?" Ash asked

"Of course." Musse nodded as the two approached and open the Trail chest and they were pull in.

In the Trial Chest...

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Erosion of Madness)

Musse and Ash were confronted by an Ashen Scratcher.

"My my, what a terrifying foe." Musse replied with a soft smile.

"Please. We face worst before." Ash pull out his axe and pointed at it. "Let's kick its ass Egret!"

"Right!" Musse yelled and form combat links.

The Ashen Scratcher rush toward the two as Ash ran up and swing his axe as Musse fire bullets onto it's body while Ash jump back. The Ashen Scratcher launch his slaw attack and a fire breath attack but Ash swirl his Axe into a shield before switch to a scythe mode and then swirl slash it to knock it back. Ash then rush to launch a powerful slash, but the Ashen Scratcher block it with it's arms and then swipe on Ash who block with his Axe. Musse then had lock shot on the Ashen Scratcher and then shoot around it.

Musse then begin to run around and fire bullets around the Ashen Scratcher as Ash jump back to avoid it's attack. The Ashen Scratcher launch a fire breath at Musse but she dodge and counter by firing at it. The Ashen Scratcher curl into a ball and rush to Musse. Musse then cast a magic circle and form a barrier around herself as the Ashen Scratcher ram to her and tried to break it. Ash swing his weapons and release the head chain toward Ashen Scratcher, capturing it and then swing it around before slamming over him on the ground where it retract, then rush through it, slash through it repeatively and then jump into the air and imbued it with a red energy and slam it to the ground, causing a red energy explosion to cause it to roar ina gony.

Musse then swirl her fingertip into a magic circle and press it, causing Ashen Scratcher to be trapped in Ice where she raised her hand high, generating a sphere of magic as a magic circle appear underneath her and then gracefully spin around and throw it, where it multiple into smaller pieces and explode around the ice, causing an rainbow pillar where she took the next step by materlizing several guns to charge and fire two beams that intertwine and fuse together to add the firepower to cause the Ashen Scratcher to turn to black mist upon it's defeat.

"I see you got some new tricks." Ash said.

"Hehe. Well, Magic is a talent of mine~" Musse wink at him as the whole area turn white.

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Saint Gral Labyrinth)

"So how did it go?" Levi asked as Musse and Ash returned.

"It was no big deal. I don't feel a change within me so I guess Egret got it." Ash answered

"So it seems my brave order level up. Shall we get going?" Musse suggest as they nodded and keep going until they reach the depth.

"Here we are in the depth of Phase Three." Altina said.

"Okay, let's take a short break." Venti said as they stood near the Orbment charging station where they place their ARCUS Alpha in it to charge it.

"Okay, while we wait, we should discuss where we should go when we reach Crossbell." Levi said.

"I like to see how my family is doing. And I want to see if Louise is doing okay too." Juna nodded. "She said she staying at my home when she arrive in Crossbell. Maybe she knows something by then."

"Yeah, sounds like a plan. We can head to your family place. So after we talk to her, we should discuss where the Singularity might be. It can't be in Crossbell City, that's for sure."

"Right. It should be somewhere far from the city." Kurt nodded as they all heard a ting. "Guess our ARCUS unit finish charging." He said as they take them.

"Okay, let's continue after we finish your training here." Levi said as they walk up the stairs and see a large ugly squid like monster. "Ready everyone?" He asked as they nodded and took out their weapons. "Let's go!"

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Robust One)

The Mega Kracken roared at them as it launch it's tenacles onto them but Levi impale the ground to cause energy blades to harm it to retract it. Kurt and Juna rush in and launch their slash and back as the Mega Kracken channel electricity and swipe on them. Musse and Venti fire their orbal shots and arrows around the Mega Kracken as Ash and Altina launch their attacks. The Mega Kracken created an electrical field to stun them before it grabbed Altina to slammed her on the ground and pull her. Levi use Penetrate Hurl to stopped it and Venti form two magic circles around it to create tornado on it's body and then Kurt slash the arm that held Altina and remove her hold on her.

Altina jump back and then used her Bomb Magic to create a vortex of explosions as Levi launch a flurry of slashes at it. Mega Kracken let out a eerie screetch to harm their ears before it shoot beam of electricity on them. Juna launched some punches and kicks while Kurt launch a flurry of slashes before launching an X slashed. Mega Kracken spin around to knock them back as Altina jump up and then Claiomh Solais slammed down it's down to slam Mega Kracken on the ground where Ash switch to scythe mode and then rush over and then launch a powerful slash on it's back before he backflip, switch to an axe and then swing his axe down on it's back again.

Mega Kracken screech to shook off Ash as he did jump off. Mega Kracken channel a dark power and throw it toward the group as Musse use magic to form spears of ice and launch them toward Mega Kracken and Venti use wind magic to form blades of wind and struck it. Mega Kracken fire a thunder breath from it's mouth as the two dodged and counter by shooting at it. Levi leap into the air and then impale the Mega Kracken back, causing it to stop firing and screech as Ash imbued his axe with power and then slash the rub along with Kurt. And Altina deal the finishing blow as Claiomh Solais change into a diamond sword and launch toward it to pierce through it. Levi jump off as the monster turned into black mist.

"Okay, that's done. Let's rest up for tomorrow." Levi said as they leave the Labyrinth.

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Now, Things To Do)

"I wish you the best of luck, young lions and friends." Roselia said. "I have every confidence you'll find the remaining singularities."

"Oh you bet we will!" Natsu smirked.

"Once these singularities are secured, the path to the instructor will open up." Altina said.

Juna nodded. "Yeah! We can do this!"

"Now that's the Class VII spirit." Sara said.

"Not to mention Fairy Tail!" Natsu added

"Yeah, not sure about us but okay."Kirito said.

"We'll meet back here after dealing with Crossbell and Heimdallr." Laura smiled

"But we can be sure our enemy will also raise a high alert." Levi warned. "After what happened in Sutherland and Lamare, you know they'll be planning to cause trouble."

Jusis nodded. "Right, we've managed to gather a decent amount of intel about the city."

"The RF main office is there, too. So our connections could come in handy." Alisa said. "But we both have stuff we can get done in Heimdallr too, so we decided to split up."

"Fie, Sara, Annette and I are heading to the capital." Elliot added. "We have some contacts in the guild that might be able to help."

Fie nodded. "We'll check up on the Vander and St. Astraia while we're there."

"I appreciate it." Kurt smiled

"Don't spread yourselves too thin, all right." Musse advised

"I'm fine going either group. Heimdallr's my hometown, but I'm concerned about Crossbell, too." Machias said.

"How are we s'pposed to get to Crossbell, anyway?" Ash asked. "Weren't you guys still discussing it last night?"

"Don't worry about that. We've worked something out." Alisa assured. "Right, Emma?"

Emma nodded. "Yes. Whenever you're ready, come meet me in the clearing. Just don't take too long. We have an appointment we need to keep."

"The clearing? You mean the same place with the Pazer Soldots?" Kirito asked

"Hmm... so what't this 'appointment you're talking about?" Eugeo asked

"Oh you'll find out soon enough." Gaius smile.d "C'mon, we'll accompany you for part of the way. Our Teleportation stone's over there, too.

The group begin to make their way to the Clearing by walking toward the teleportation Stone and then go to the gate and arriving at the clearing.

"Here's the meeting point. We don't have much time to waste." Alisa said. "Okay, Levi, you don't mind some of us Class VII come with you right?"

"Of course not." Levi answered.

"Okay, we'll let you pick who's coming with you." Emma said.

"Hmm... Jusis, Alisa, and Emma."

The two girls and Jusis nodded.

"Understood." Jusis nodded

"You can count on us then." Alisa nodded.

"Right." Emma nodded as she pull her staff and Alisa pill her ARCUS Alpha.

"Okay, Emma, work your magic."

"Of course." Emma said, as a magic circle appear under her as she begin to cast her magic and raised her staff. "O Barrier, welcome our visitors and grant them passage!"

In the sky, a portal appeared.

"It's open! But... Is it really safe?" A voice asked.

"Yeah, you'll be just fine. Go on through." Alisa respond in the call.

(Super Mario Galaxy ost - Star Festival)

Coming through the portal was an Airship a small airship.

"An airship?" Erza blink as it slowly landed until they heard a girl sighed.

"This is just nuts... How do you conceal an entire village?" She wondered as she revealed herself next to a Delibird "Ah, there you are! Hey, Alisa! Sorry to keep you waiting!" Capua Delivery Service has arrived!

"Oh I remember you!" Levi said. "You're Josette right? You were there back in Leeve."

"Oh hey! Nice to see you too, Levi! So, are you, new Class VII and your other friends ready to board?" She asked.

"Yep. Come on guys." Levi said as his selected team go into the rampway and walked on board.

The ship then begin to take off toward the portal as the group headed inside the Bridge room.

"Okay, so...I'm Josette Capua, branch manager of Capua Delivery Service." She introduced. "Good to meet you, Class VII."

"Oh yeah, you're the delivery agency we met in the capital, right?" Ash asked.

"You're an acquaintance of Instructor Rean's, I believe." Kurt said.

"More like someone he's helped a couple times." Josette replied. "But forget Rean. Alisa's the one that's our valued client."

Alisa giggled. "They helped a lot with the RF's 4th Development Division. Being able to have our precision instrument and machinery be delivered safelt and securely was invaluable."

"Wow, we have a lot of connections, don't we?" Juna asked.

"I suppose this is just another connection brought around by the old Class VII." Musse said.

"Not really. You could say I'm pretty connected to the new Class VII, too." Josette replied. "Leeves is my hometown. It used to be part of the Capua barony."

"Tita mention something like that." Venti replied

"So putting that aside, how strong is air security?" Levi asked.

"Right, security in the skies all over Erebonia seems tighter nowadays. It looks like the most cutting-edge airships available have been sent out to patrol the skies."

"So if we get noticed, it'll be over very quickly."

"Well, just leave it to us. We'll find a way to slip through. It may not be spacious, but do make yourselves at home."

"I gues sit can't be helped. In that case, let's relax for a bit everyone."

"Right." Altina nodded and then they all being to split up.

"Seriously? Damn, you Dragon Slayers suppose be tough as nails but having a weakness as motion sickness? That's pathetic."

"But it does explain why he isn't comfortable about coming alone." Kurt said.

"Hang on, I'll go find Wendy to cast that spell of hers." Happy leave.

"Haha. Well as our feline friend go get Wendy, let's talk about something." Venti suggest

"And what should we talk about exactly?" Juna asked.

"Hmm... Maybe finding some way for our Instructor to reward us, maybe~?"

"Ha! Good idea." Ash smirked

"Please don't tell me you really consider it." Kurt sweatdrop.

"Right, it would be a good idea to leave the Panzer Soldots behind." Levi nodded "They're always been our ace-in-our-home during the mission, so things feel less sure this time around." Levi nodded. "But we can't always count on them. But I'm sure with the student learn from both me and Rean, they'll be able to handle any situations."

"Hehe. Oh I can imagine Rean feel proud of you guiding them." Emma giggled.

"We should give them our all." Jusis nodded

"Yeah, but I'm more worried about Natsu in this trip." Lucy sighed. "When it come to getting attention, destruction is his thing."

Alisa sweatdrop. "That's very much Natsu. I just hope we don't get caught in. Otherwise, the Empire might consider Natsu's actions a terrorist."

"I do hope that Baffoon does learn some restrain." Jusis sighed.

"Ahh, it feels so good to take in the fresh air like this." Wendy said with a smile. "Although some of the air were really taste bad because of the Great Twilight."

"Indeed. Oh if only the curse could leave this beautiful sky in peace." Musse agreed as they spotted many flying Pokemon. "Aww, look at all the Pokemon."

"Heh, they're nice, aren't they?" Kirito asked.

"It's been three months since new Class VII been to Crossbell on the Field exercise. I can imagine Juna saying it will feel like it was ages ago." Altina said

"Ah yes. And I was in Class IX at the time too." Musse nodded

"Class IX was Finances, right?" Asuna asked.

"Well, you certainly fit in with Class VII." Yui said.

Musse giggled. "Well in any case, I feel we're all quite a bit different than we were back then."

"Agreed. I think that we've all made a lot of progress, both as individuals and as a team." Altina agreed.

An alarm kicked in as the group gather up in the bridge.

"What's wrong?" Josette asked.

"A Battleship has been spotted up ahead!" One of the crewmen answered.

In the distance, two giant battleships and several small ones.

Erebonian and Calvardian air forces!" Kurt exclaimed.

"That Blue warship is the same size as the Pantagruel!" Emma remark.

"That's one of the Imperial Army's Gargantua-class Battleship. 250-Arge class just like the Pantagruel. And on Calvard's side, those are the new model gunships and their latest aerial battleship. Made by the Verne Company, most likely."

"I've seen something like that before in the Intelligence Division database. What were they call again... Bate Kaito class?" Altina wondered.

"Yeah, that's a 200-arge class ship. It might be a little smaller, but it's got a lot of firepower."

"And if war is about to break out. I'm sure we can imagine what would happen." Levi muttered.

"In any case, we need to retreat! Try to bring us into those low-lying clouds!" Josette yelled.

"Aye, aye Captain!"

The Pilot then begins to dive into the clouds to hide.

The Bobcat II landed in a quiet area where no one is around.

"All right, we're here." Levi said. "This is where met first met Campanella and fought that plant cryptid. We owe Emma for helping us back then too."

"Heehee. It feels like it was just yesterday." Emma giggled.

"Oh finally!" Natsu groaned. "Oh sweet, sweet ground!" Natsu said with relief.

"Still, that was one hell of a scene we just pass by." Gray said.

"Yeah, I can imagine what it would be like if Erebonia would declare war on the other nations..." Lucy groaned.

"Your distress is all too understandable, given the tension that permeated the air." Jusis nodded.

"This war is finally starting to feel real." Juna sadden

"Hearing about it is one thing, but seeing it firsthand is different." Altina nodded

"Which is why the more reason we need to stop this war." Levi stated. "We can't allow other nations to be swallowed by the curse. A world swallowed by the curse is the end of the world and all life with it."

"Sorry about that, folks." Josette replied. "Security around the city was a lot tighter than I was expecting. This is closer to Tangram Fortress, but it's a blind spot in their patrol. No one'll disturb us here."

Then a large magic knight appeared with an Ironchain appeared from it, letting out a roar. It then attack the ship.

"It's the same as the heavy model we fought beneath the capital!" Kurt exclaimed

"Oh of all the timing... Let's go, everyone! Let's destroy this Magic Knight for everyone sake!" Levi yelled

"YEAH!" Everyone replied.

Airship attacker - Magic Knight Dynagram

Juna link with Kurt, Ash link with Musse, Altina link with Venti, Levi link with Emma, Jusis link with Alisa, Natsu link up with Gray, Erza link up with Lucy and Wendy. Sora link up with Donald and Goofy. Kirito link up with Asuna and Eugeo.

Dynagram swing it's Iron Ball toward the group as they dodged and split up.

"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" Natsu jump and then punch the Magic Knight back to the corner as Gray jump.

"ICE-MAKE: Freeze Lance!" Gray unleash lance of ice that struck the Magic Knight as Natsu found the opening as he take it and punch the Magic Knight.

Levi dash forward and launched slashes while Emma summon two magic circles and each fire several projections attack as the Magic Knight roar at them, grabbed a piece of the ground and throw it at them, but Erza swoop in and slice them into rubble. Kirito and Eugeo launch powerful combo slashes together as Asuna launch lighting fast slashes onto the Magic Knight.

"SKY DRAGON ROAR!" Wendy unleash a breath attack on the Magic Knight as Lucy Stardress into Scorpio form as she shoot out Sand materlized a sand lance and throw it at the Magic Knight where Erza unleash a powerful twin slash.

Alisa shoot her arrow onto the arms as Jusis ran up and launce slashes gracefully while Sora Airstep toward it and use Ars Arcanum. Donald cast Firaga as Goofy use Goofy tornado. Ash swing his axe while Musse fire up magic bullets around the magic knights as Venti used his craft: Divine Markmanship and shoot a flurry of arrows at it and struck ti for Altina to jump high enough and then swing Claiomh Solais's downward onto the head. Dynagram let out a roar to push those nearby back and then stomp on one of them.

"Ice-Make: Floor!" Gray place his hand on the ground to slip Dynagram onto it's back as Levi used his craft: Spiral Vortez as he leap into the air with raser wind slashing the Magic Knight and then impale the large sphere on the chest with Glaive blade that emerge from it, causing the Magic Knight to roar and then brush Levi off.

Levi recovered as Emma charge a sphere on the tip of her staff and then fire a beam on magic at it. Kirito's sword glow and then launch a slash combo, large enough for Asuna to follow up with combo jabs attacks. Eugeo cast Crystal Edge and the struck of ice blasted the Magic Knight.

"FIRE DRAGON SWORD HONE!" Natsu dash toward the Magic Knight chest as Lucy ran up and launch some kick combos before she channel sand in her hands into a sphere and launch it at the Magic Knight to a sand explosion.

"Take this!" Ash used Rumbing Smash 2 as Musse fire magic bullets as a follow up.

Dynagram begin to spin around with the Iron Chain Ball and knock those nearby back. Then it begin to swing it's Ironball at them and knock Erza, Lucy, and Wendy to the wall. Jusis imbued his sword with magic as he lung toward the Magic Knight, launch graceful and powerful swings combo and then combine them into a powerful attack as Alisa used her craft: Molton Storm 2 to rain fire arrows from above. Sora launch Keyblade combos onto the magic knight as Dynagram backhand Sora.

"Take this!" Donald cast Gallort Fortress as he summon a fortess and fire laser at it as Goofy leap into the air, and then form into a drill and struck the face of the Magic Knight.

"SKY DRAGON CLAW!" Wendy jump into the air and kick the magic knight with a force of air.

Kurt ran up and unleash a flurry of slashes as Juna follow up by launching a flurry of punches and then, charging her punch and then punch the leg with some effect. Erza summon another sword and then rush toward and then unleash a flurry of slashes as she slash through it, causing it to roar in agony before exploding in purple light.

The black Pleroma Grass begin to disolve after the Magic Knight's defeat.

"All right, we did it!" Sora said.

"And it look like that black Pleroma Grass is gone too." Goofy said.

"Josette, are you and your crew okay?" Levi asked before noticing the ship's condition. "Well, I can't say the same to your ship..."

"No worries, we're okay. It's seen better days, that's for sure." Josette replied. "Glad you guys wrecked that monster, but the thing made sure to wreck our poor engine first. I'm going to need some time to fix this."

"Would you like some help?" Alisa asked.

"That's right. Just let us know what you need." Kurt nodded

"Nah, it's fine. We can handle this on our own. You guys hurry on to Crossbell. You're far enough behind schedule as it is." Josette answered with a smile.

"Fair enough. We do have more important matters. Plus, there is a boathouse nearby so you should be fine." Levi replied. "We better get to Crossbell before nightfall. Let us know if there's anything you need to make it up, K."

"Seriously, it's fine." Josette replied. "Besides, we've already collected our fee for transporting you."

"I can't imagine you'll turn a profit with that attitude." Jusis chuckled. "We appreciate it nonetheless, though."

"Tell you what, you can pay us back once you're done saving the day."

"You got yourself a deal. Let's go everyone." Levi nodded

"Right!" Everyone nodded as they begin to leave the area and past the boathouse.

They spotted the roadway, but before they could go in a direction, Ash and Juna noticed something.

"Oh..." Juna sadden.

"What the hell is that?!" Ash asked

"That, Ash, is Tangram Fortress." Musse answered. "It's the largest of the fortresses they're planning to use in the invasion of Calvard."

"It was still under construction last time we were here." Altina said. "Looks like it's done now."

"Rumor has it the facility was designed to rival Garrelia Fortress in scale." Jusis added. "It has eight state-of-the-art railway cannons, and probably more armaments besides."

"It would be better if we stay away from that place." Erza said. "We need to hurry and reach Crossbell before nightfall. If we can hurry and prevent the war, we can be at least that Crossbell won't be the center of it again."

"Yeah, let's hussle." Juna agreed.

The group begin to move on. As they walk the path, they heard the sounds of military trucks that force them to go into hiding.

"That was a close call." Wendy said. "I thought we were getting closer to the fortress."

"I was under the impression that only a farming village less in that direction." Altina recalled.

Juna nodded."Right. Armorica. As far as I known there aren't any military facilities there."

"Rumor has it they've set up an army camp a little to northeast, though." Alisa told them. "Apparently they're using it to funnel all their new recruits through intensive basic training at once."

"So they're going all out." Gray fold his arm. "Crossbell conscription program is clugging along just as everywhere else these days."

"Based on what's around here... there're probably camped out int he Ancient Battlefield." Juna sighed. "I really hate that regular citizens are getting dragged into the war. Just the thought of it makes my skin crawl."

"Please stay alert, everyone. The military uses this road a lot We shouldn't linger too long." Emma told them.

"She's right. Let's go!" Donald agreed as they continue walking.

A couple of monsters and Heartless appeared on the road and they begin to take care of them as they continue onward. They cross the bridge where they spotted a tower on the distance.

"Look, there's a tower from here." Kirito pointed.

"That's Orchis Tower..." Juna said, looking sad.

"It's already been three months since we were last here." Emma said looking down.

"I never imagined we'd come back here like this..." Alisa agreed.

"I know how you feel, but we must keep moving forward." Asuna reminded them.

The group begin to walk toward Crossbell city as the sun was close to reach nightfall, soon, they spotted a bridge that leads to Crossbell City.

"Crossbell City. Phew, we got here before nightfall." Musse said.

"That Orchis Tower is just as much of an eyesore as ever." Ash added.

"Your last visit here certainly was… eventful." Jusis said.

"It's a miracle we made it out safely after facing off against Ouroboros." Emma said.

"We couldn't have done it without the instructors and the branch campus students helping out." Altina pointed out.

"Yeah. We really owe you for the help." Levi chuckled.

"After you Juna. Locals first." Kurt said with a smile.

Juna smiled back. "Right!"

They begin to walk into the bridged and then arrived in the East Street of Crossbell.

"All right, we made it!" Natsu cheered

"Shh! Keep your choice down!" Lucy shush him.

Carla notice Juna's expression along with Erza, Levi and Kurt.

"Juna, Are you all right?" Carla asked.

"Haha... Yeah... I don't know what's going on with me." Juna answered with some emotions. "I can't believe coming back here's getting me so emotional."

"It natural you feel that way because it's your home." Levi smiled.

"He's right. Returing back to your country that you love so much makes you feel overwhelm with joy and pride. I would feel the same if I ever return to Magnolia." Erza nodded. "

"Pfft. Sure, if you're some sorta sap." Ash comment.

"Oh please, you were like that in Raquel." Venti remark.

"Shut it, bard!"

"You two really are the closest of friends." Altina smiled

"Agreed." Musse giggled

"Want to go check in with your family?" Kurt suggested.

Juna sniffed. "No, it's fine. We should have a look around town first. After all, we don't know how strict surveillance is yet."

"True. And since we're in Crossbell, we should look into seeing if we can get a hold of Randy and Tio." Levi said. "But for now, we should find a place to rest for the evening."

"Well, there is that place you recommended to us last time." Emma suggest.

"Oh, right. Good idea!" Juna smiled. "Let's head on over."

The group made their way to the inn where the employee recognized Juna and they began to chat. They begin to reserve rooms for them and use it as a base. After checking in with Jossette at the boathouse, everyone finally settled in to relax.

"Conscition's going full throttle all throughout Erebonia..." Jona said, while typing in his computer. "Wait, there are five new armored divisions?! Damn, things are getting worse by the day..."

"Ugh. As usual, it's like a cave in here."

"Goodness Jona, couldn't you at least clean up?" A woman voice sighed as the lights were turn on. "And please turn on the lights too. It's bad for your eyesight for you to be on the computer with that level of brightness."

Jona rolled his eyes. "Oh whatever. But more importantly."

"Yeah, yeah, we brought you something for dinner." Sully roll her eyes as she and Litchi approached him with a sandwich and fruit juice. "Morges' special healthy veggie sandwich and a cup of organic fruit juice."

"All right, 'the easy way to get your five-a-day'..." Jona then blinked. "Wait, NO! Where's the pizza and Bell Cola I asked for!?"

"Absolutely not! Eating junk food every day is not good for your health!" Litchi turn onto doctor mode. "I already told you that you must eat a proper diet with proper exercise. You must take proper care of yourself and eat properly!"

"You heard the doctor. So follow your doctor's orders." Sully agreed.

Jona groaned. "Aw, man... I wish everyone can leave me be. Also, she's not even my doctor!"

"Regardless, quit being all cranky. So back to the matter, how's the situation looking?"

"Not so great. Ever since conscription started, we've been speeding down a one-way track to war. Way faster then expected, too. All that intel they got from the tower's checking out." Jona answered.

"As expected. It shouldn't surprise me after the info from the tower was retrieve." Litchi sighed. "Our allies will have a difficult time with a certain group as well. Did they make it back from Calvard?"

"Yep. Right when you think things couldn't get any worse. I can't get much of an update from Tio from Erebonia, either. Looks like Randolph's doing just fine, though."

"Well, that's good, at least. But what about the Silver Streak? Is she still in Erebonia?" Sully asked

"I can't tell. We lost contact with her a while ago. The Liberl crew's been pretty worried about her, too."

"If she's MIA... then something must have happen to her. The Professor isn't going to like this..." Litchi fold her arms with her fingertip to her lower lips. Litchi shook her head. "Well it can't be help. We got to do what we can."

"Yeah. But it isn't just those guys we need to look out for. There's Ouroboros, the big bad behind this whole mess, and other sinister groups that has at their side." Jona sighed as he resume typing. "Not to mention the Grimm are acting all weird too. And some Shady characters have been sited within the city too. And our little 'guests' from the Empire. Kind of a tall order, but... we need to keep our heads cool."

Sully nodded. "Yeah... Rixia, Ilya, and the SSS are all counting on us."

Tust me, I realize the responsibility. So, what have you got for me?" She asked until someone in the call to tell her something. "I see. Looks like our little mastermind's setting all kind of stuff in motion. Yep. The big fish pulling the strings behind Crossbell's curtain, the brains behind the invasion scheme. That's the one. Okay, right. Let the chief know I'm on my way. We'll see you later, Reins." She said as she hang up as she and Kylie Koopa walk away and look at the building. 'As if those two joining forces wasn't bad enough, now they've got outside help, too? I have to show people there's still hope... That the pen is mightier than the sword. Still... I have to be careful while walking around... Whoever responsible for the disappearance of my colleagues... is certainly doesn't like anyone who are getting too close... what's more, it isn't good to place the info I gather in the orbal net. "Now now you two. We can tease each other at a later date." Venti giggled.

"If what we heard yesterday is anything to go by, the town's been unusually calm." Kurt said.

"Probably because their defenses are so tight this close to the Republic. Between Tangram Fortress and all the troops, people are feeling that much safer. Then there's the rumors about the man in charge being missing." Jusis said.

"Jusis's brother, Rufus." Erza recalled.

"Actually, he's Jusis's cousin. But regardless, this is good news for us, though." Levi stated.

"Either way, we should avoid Orchis Tower for now." Altina advised. "But we can go to the Entertainment District. We didn't get a chance to while we were here for our field exercises."

"Yeah, that was the one place we couldn't go to last time." Venti agreed.

"Then it's agreed. We take a look around town, ascertain the current situation, and see if anyone knows anything about the singularity." Musse said. "So long as everything looks all right, we can drop in on Juna's family as well." Musse said.

"Aww, thanks." Juna replied. "Let's get going, everyone!"

The group nodded and then leave the Inn as they leave the East Street and head to the Harbor District to look for information as they arrived.

"Just like with Parm Training Ground." Kurt muttered

"Right... They'd turned it into a storehouse for all the resources they'd commandeered. In any case, it is likely our best interest not to venture too close." Altina advised.

"That said, I'd still like to try and stop by the RF building. I have a contact working from the inside. It could be a food opportunity to find out what's going on at the branch office."Alisa said

"Sounds like a plan. Let's go!" Yui nodded as they go toward the RF Branch office and enter the building.

"The last time we were here was during our field exercises." Altina recalled.

"That's when we met up with Tio, too. I hope she's all right..." Juna said.

"Hopefully, we'll be able to obtain information here." Kurt said.

"And records of orders for all sorts of armaments for Tangram Fortress and other bases." Altina added

Addison nodded. "Yes. Eight Dragunov-class railway cannons, and I'm sure you've already seen the Gargantua-class airship. The company's also been supplying the new military camp outside Armorica Village."

"The Trucks we saw yesterday must be heading to that location." Goofy rub his chin,

"Oh boy..." Donald fold his arm. "Guess we know where the Reinford Group stand."

"Does anyone understand what he said?" Addison asked.

"Hey!"

"He said we know where the Reinford Group stand." Altina answered

"The company's directing all its resources to the war effort. And the one leading that movement is..." Alisa muttered

"Your mother." Jusis answered. "Chairman Irina of the Reinford group."

"That would explain how the Empire has been able to mobilize at a rapid paste." Carla said.

"It doesn't surprised me that the Empire has the full support from one of the continent's heavy industry leaders." Erza said.

"All businesses are required to comply with the National Mobilization Law, so RF didnd't really have a choice in this." Musse sighed.

"Alisa..." Yui turn to her with a concerned look.

"I'm all right." Alisa respond. "It just confirms what we already found out in Nortia." She turn to Addison with a smile. "Thank you, Addison. This information's very helpful And please extend out thanks to anyone who was involved in preparing these reports."

Addison nodded "Of course. I'm glad I could be of service to you. Just so you know, there are people working here who oppose the war, regardless what Chairman Irina says. May your endeavors be fruitful. I'll support you any way I can."

"We must bring Instructor Rean back, now more than ever." Altina nodded

"So this is Crossbell's Central Square, huh? Nice." Kirito mused. "There are a lot of stores here. It might be a good idea to look around."

"It's good meeting place, too. It's got access to a lot of different districts." Juna said with pride. "The towers's off limit for now, but we can get to the Entertainment District, at least. "

"Well, now that we're here, I guess we gotta go gather intel." Ash said.

"Didn't you say you got a friend working nearby?" Happy asked.

"That's right. Over there at the Orbal Store." Juna pointed. "I haven't seen Wendy in a while. I should probably let her know I'm all right."

"She's an engineer if I recall. Let's go." Venti said as they go into Genten Orbal Store and talk to Wendy.

"Juna! Juna, is that you?" Wendy (Store worker) asked. "I'm so glad you're all right. And you brought the rest of Class VII with you, too! And I see you got some friends too."

"They were the heroes you admire so much, right, Juna?" Kurt asked.

"I'm not sure what's going on, but a lot of Crossbellians hate the SSS for some reason."

"Why would they hate them all of the sudden?" Levi asked.

"I don't know. But it's scary. Many people of Crossbell deem the SSS as traitors and terrorists and should be hung for their crimes. If someone were to speak positive about them, they would deem them as traitors who support them. At worst, they would force you to leave Crossbell."

"B-But... that doesn't make any sense..." Juna shaked. "W-Why would they..."

"I don't know why either. I know how you feel about them, Juna... but whatever you do, don't talk about the SSS or Lloyd positive out in public. It will get bad for you if you do."

"I wonder if the curse has something to do with it..." Levi mumbled to himself.

"Yeah. Good idea. Let's start with the bakery. I know the staff there, and it's a popular place, so they should have heard plenty of gossip."

"Sounds like a plan. And Miss Fairy Queen here has been itchin' to go there." Ash look at Erza.

"Well can you blame me?" Erza asked with a prideful nod as they go into Morges Bakery and approached the two bakers.

"Wow, is that you, Juna? And Class VII too?" Oscar blink.

"You were in Vesta Street if I recall. You managed to make your way, home?" Levi asked

"Hehe, you're right. I'm sure Lina and the others will be happy to hear that." Bennet replied before she look sad and turn to Oscar. "U-Um, I should get back to work. Oscar, let's talk about the new menu later, okay?" She then walk away to work.

"Um, is Bennet okay?" Juna asked

"...Don't worry. She's been like that a lot lately. Ever since I got my craft card, actually." Oscar answered

"So you were drafted into the army as well?" Eugeo asked.

"As a commissaryman, yeah. I'll probably be seeing my share of danger, though. I ship out in two weeks. Morges is back so it's really just a question of me stepping down."

"That explains why Bennet looks so upset." Juna sighed

"That's nothing I can do to stop it from happening, so I'm just going to concentrate on whatever works I can still do." Oscar sighed. "How about you, Juna/ Stopped by your place yet? Lina, Ken, and Nana have been missing you like you wouldn't believe it."

" I... I really want to go back, but..." Juna held her arm before hooking her head. "Oscar, have you noticed anything different about the neighborhood lately? Like soldiers or MPs patrolling around the place more often?"

"Huh? No, not that I can recall. The only two things is that Crossbell slowly hates the SSS as a terrorist group or something and doesn't want them near Crossbell. The other is the you-know-who moved to a new office."

"I heard about the Crossbell hating the SSS from Wendy but for real?" Juna blink.

"The you-know-who?" Natsu asked.

"He must mean the news service that vanish from the harbor district." Asuna speculates.

"At any rate, it sounds like your house isn't marked for surveillance." Kurt whisper to the group

"Make sense. They probably didn't think you were coming home, anyway." Ash whispered.

Juna nodded. "Yeah... I'll drop by and tell my family I'm okay when we're done."

"Come on, why the long faces?" Oscar asked with a smile. "Don't get this stuff get you down. I just finished taking a fresh batch of loaves from the oven. Go ahead and take some!'

"In that case, do you have Strawberries in your store?" Erza asked with eye sparking.

"Um, yeah. Would you like to-"

"I'll buy all of them!"

"A-All of them!?" Oscar sweatdrop as Erza eye sparking with a nod. "O-Okay then... We might need to prepare."

And so they begin to ate Osbar's bread while preparing to prepare Erza's cake in a large bag. Afterward, they leave the Bakery with Erza holding a large bag of strawberry shortcakes.

"Goodness Erza, don't you think you could have saved them for other customers?" Juna sweatdrop.

"I would, but there are no other customers. So it would go to waste for them to leave the strawberry shortcake away!" Erza said.

Juna sweatdrop again. "R-Right. Okay, let's head to the building Oscar told us about." Juna said as they went over to the CNS office that was nearby the grocery store.

"Crossbell News Service...' This must be the place." Musse said.

"Right. It matches what our baker friends told us." Kirito nodded. "Come on, let's go in and have a chat with the people there."

"They might have some info intel. As Crossbell media, they're sure to have something on their fingers with the current stent of event." Yui nodded

"Right. Let's find out what they know." Juna nodded as they go right in. "Wow, they really did move a lot in here." Juna said.

"There aren't that many people." Altina added.

"This used to be the abandoned law office where it has a Geofront area we went to." Levi recalled. "But it doesn't look like we'll be using it."

"Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there." A voice said.

The group turn and see two people approaching them

"Please excuse the mess! We've only just moved in. We're still getting used to the new space, but it'll be up and running before you know it." The silver hair journeylist said before she blink. "Wait, you all..." She then looked at the guy standing next to her. "Reins, are these the kids you told me about before?"

"No doubt about it. I'd recognize Class VII anywhere. I didn't expect that Fairy Tail's Guild mages would be with them too." He replied. "I was wondering when you guys would show up. Certainly kept us waiting!"

"Hey, how did you know who we are." Natsu took his stand

"Woah, slow down. We're not part of the Intelligence Division, so don't worry." The female reporter assured. "And as for you, Reins. Can't you choose your words better? It's no wonder they would be suspicious after hearing something like that!"

"My bad, my bad." He sighed. "It felt like the quickest way to get them up to speed."

She cleared her throat. "Well, in any case, allow me to introduce yourself. Grace Lynn, writer for the Crossbell Times and journalist extraordinaire. Now about your missing instructor, the Ashen Chevalier. I've been following his career for a while now. I might be able to tell you something useful. How about it?"

"Whatever it is that we don't know about, anything would help." Levi responded.

"Grace Lynn..." Juna tip her bottom lips until she snap her finger. "Oh I remember you! You're the reporter who help the SSS a few times, right?"

"That would be me, yes.." Grace replied. "I've seen it all. The formation of the SSS, the Cult Incident, and even the struggle for independence. I even got caught up in Operation Birdcage, too."

"If I recall correctly, wasn't that the plan to shut down the SSS and their allies?" Kurt asked.

"I'd never have thought a regular citizen could achieve so much." Altina said.

"I must admit, I'm a little curious about what you'd be able to tell us." Musse added. "It also seems to me that you have plenty of information sources. Maybe more than what a run-of-the-mill journalist should have."

"Oh, you flatter us." Reins said. "We're just good at keeping our ears open for gossip is all."

"So then, Levi, you're looking after new Class VII for the time being?" Grace asked. "Don't be surprised, I've heard about you and everyone else. I have to say, the stories I hear don't do you justice."

Levi wrap his arms around his head. "I wouldn't go that far. But yeah, I'm guessing someone from the SSS told you a little about me."

"Only the stuff that they thought was relevant to say. They wouldn't disclose anything too personal. As for the rest of you. Team Natsu if I recall, it's quite a surprised to see Fairy Tail Mages here, but I'm guessing you're here for the same reason as Class VII."

"That's right. It wouldn't surprised us that our name was heard throughout the globe." Lucy said.

"And the black hair gentleman must be one of E. Gadd Science important staff members who work closely with Professor E. Gadd, right?"

"I can't say I'm surprised that others might have heard of me." Kirito scratch his hair.

"Anyway, I know that the SSS had high hopes for you when you were all here last time. But Juna, it seems your friends have a lot going for them, too."

"Hmph, feels like you're sizing us up so you can write a juicy article on us later." Ash said. "Cut to the chase. Since you're so knowledgeable, tell us what's going on with the singularity."

"You mean the places where all the black Pleroma Grass is growing? Sorry, not really my area of expertise. After our old offices got taken over, we've been really busy moving. My new friend, Kylie on the other hand has been looking into it." Grace sighed.

"Kylie? As in Kylie Koopa from Pi'illo Island?" Lucy asked. "She's here in Crossbell?"

"Yep. She and I became good friends. You'll be surprised of how much of a rival she was to me. But we're just friends, mind you. She's been looking into the black Pleroma Grass. I just hope she'll be all right through."

"What do you mean?" Juna asked

"Well, there were many reporters looking around for news and all of the sudden, each one has gone missing."

"Missing?" The group asked

"We're not sure what's going on. But I think something must have happened to them." Rein said. "The only thing I can come up with is that they found something and someone or something made them disappear. So far it's a bit dangerous for us reporters to look into certain situations."

"But that doesn't stop me, if that was the case." Grace fold her arm. "I haven't even gotten the chance to go out for the last week or so. However...now that Rufus is out of town, this is the perfect opportunity to start gathering some info. And I don't care if who or whatever is responsible for my fellow journalist's disappearance."

"It would seem as though my brother is involved with something else on the side." Jusis replied

"From what I can glean, he returned to the tower briefly, following the military parade at the capital. But he left almost immediately, leaving the Imperial Defence Force in his stead. I have no doubt he's got his hands full with the war effort. But there's something suspicious about his movements."

"Suspicious? Do you think he has a secret plan of his own?" Levi asked.

"If it is, he's not telling. It would seem that it could be a matter he doesn't want his citizens finding out about. There's not a lot of proof, but I think we're on to something. Must be a journalist's intuition."

"Well, in any case, thanks for letting us know. Be sure to share some new info if you find out anything.

Grace nodded. "Of course. Between you and the SSS, I feel like I could never run out of materials. Maybe you could give me an exclusive interview when you bring back the Ashen-I mean, your instructor. Fair exchange in no robbery, am I right?"

"For sure, we'ld be happy to." Juna smiled

"We look forward to working with you." Altina added

'I can't make any promises though.' Levi thought.

Then the group begin to leave the CNS building and then made their way to the Entertainment District.

"So this is Crossbell's Entertainment District, huh? Meh. It's no Raquel, but.. I guess I can get what Randolph sees in the place." Ash smirked.

"It certainly... lively. But in a different way from the other districts." Altina replied

"Yep, this place has it all." Juna said with a smug on her face. "There's a casino, a high-class hotel, bars, clubs, and a neat little antique store, too. And then there's the jewel in Crossbell's crown- Arc en Ciel."

"Oh, the theater troupe? I've heard of them." Kurt said.

"I heard that too. I been meaning to visit the place myself." Lucy said.

"I dunno. Seems pretty dull over there for a crown Jewel." Ash remark

Yeah. Can't argue with you on that." Juna muttered "Their leading lady was seriously injured about a year ago. And their second-biggest star had to take a break for personal reasons. With so many members out of the picture, they can only put on small shows now and then. But leading ladies or no, Arc en Ciel is still the pride of Crossbell. I really hoped we get to see them perform again someday."

"Don't worry. I'm sure you will." Kurt smiled

"In any case, it seems the theatre itself is still open." Jusis said. "We could always take a look inside and see if we can learn anything.

Musse agreed. "It'd be a shame not to, after coming all this way."

"It'd be a shame not to, after coming all this way. Any other points of interest, Juna?" Musse asked

Juna hummed. "I say we try the antique store in the alley, too, while we're at it. One of them is run by this old lady the SSS used to go to for info all the time."

"I believe old women are indeed known for their intensive gossip networks." Altina said.

"Well why don't we go ask both around then? Let's get started, shall we?" Venti suggest

The group then begin to enter Arc in Ciel treater building and there was no one inside.

"Looks like the place is empty." Natsu said.

"That's weird. I wonder where the manager's gone off to." Juna wondered

"Yeah, that's it, Sully!" That's the stuff!"

"Nice, one more time!"

"Sounds like there is a rehearsal going on in the back." Eugeo said.

"Wanna take a pique?" Ash asked

"I don't know. We really shouldn't barge in unannounced..." Juna replied

"Well why not think of it as part of our intel mission?" Happy suggest.

"I am quite curious actually. Let's see what they're up too." Erza said "But as long we don't disturb them."

The group walk into the stage area and witness a girl spinning around with great accuracy. not moving from her spot.

"She moves with style and grace." Levi said, quietly.

'Yeah. I can't take my eyes off her.' Kurt nodded

"It's like with Azura." Kirito whisper.

"Impressive, indeed." Jusis nodded

"I'm starting to see what all the hype's about." Ash replied.

"Wow. I can tell she's giving it her all." Lucy smiled.

"That's one of the troupe's younger performers. Sully Atraid, a.k.a. the Star Princess." Juna explained. "It's like she gets better every time I see her."

"Haha, that she does, young lady." A man spoke as the group turn and see the employee standing close by.

"Oh, are you the theater manager?" Musse asked.

"Sorry for coming in here without permission." Levi said. "We didn't see anyone at the entrance, so..."

"Oh no, not at all. The fault is mine for leaving the front desk unattended." He replied. "Sully's been improving by leaps and bounds. It's hard to tear my eyes away from her sometimes. She's like a shining beacon of hope in the midst of all this gloomy talk of war."

Juna nodded. "Yeah...we need that. Now more than ever."

"Anyway, we'd better split. Wouldn't wanna get in the way any more than we already have." Ash said.

"Right." Altina nodded. "We better head back to the entrance."

As the group begin to leave, Sully notice the group.

'Who were those guys?' Sully wondered.

The group walk to the back-alley streets.

Kurt hummed. "The street's seedy to say the least."

"Well, we are in the Entertainment District." Juna teased. "Not to mention, this is right around where the mafia used to set up shop."

"I've heard as much. But only rumors." Altina said.

"Man, all that crap doesn't matter." Ash sighed. "I'd come here any day as long as they got hot babes."

"Blunt as always I see. But I can't blame you." Levi comment.

"It's natural as a man." Venti added

"Ugh..." Lucy sigh in disgust.

"You better be careful, Daddy." Yui look at him with a smile.

"Yui, why did you throw me the boat here?" Kirito sweatdrop

They found Imelda's Antique Shop and go right in, and there was an old lady by the front table with a Klefki and Polteagiest in Anique form in the shop.

"Welcome, welcome! Aren't you a cute little gaggle of young folk?" She greeted. "Don't see too many aficionados yours age, but...whether you're old or young, your money's good here. You can even pay the installments, if you want! Just be careful not to let the interest pile up, you hear?"

"Geez, we can't even get a word in edgewise here." Ash muttered.

"Haha! She's just like Lloyd said she was." Juna replied. "Excuse me, ma'am! Are you Imelda? Did you use to help out the Special Support Section?"

That got the old lady's attention. "Ah, I see. You must be the ones the IDF have been looking for. Class VII, right?"

"Wh-what?! How did you know?" Kurt asked.

"Oh, I have my sources. I heard all about you the last time you were here for your field exercises." Imelda then looked at me. "And you, young man. My, what a handsome one you are. Hohoho! I couldn't forget a face like that. You're Levi, aren't you?

"How do you know who I am?" Levi blinked

"I've heard about you from the young red-haired man."

"Red-haired man?" Ash repeated.

"She must be talking about Randy!" Juna corrected.

"Well, I can't think of anyone else who'd be asking around about the SSS right now. Espcually since nearly off all Crossbell deem them as evil and be executed." Imelda replied.

"Ah..." Juna look concerned.

"We heard about it. But let's get back on topic. You have some inside info that no one knows about?" Levi asked.

She nodded. "Yes. I imagine you're here for information. Did you want to know how Bannings' team got into the tower?"

Juna's eyes were open wide. "Wait! They did what?!"

"You are better informed than we've been led to believe." Altina said.

"Could you tell us a little more, perhaps?" Musse asked.

"But of course. Lloyd, Elie, their new friend name Aoi, the Bright Family, along with their new friends and Pokemon infiltrated Orchis Tower to get the information that was sent from Heimdallr to Orchis Tower. This happens a while back. And they accomplished it, too! What a shame that doing so wasn't much of an issue for the government. Unfortunately, due to the matter of Bracers involved, the Imperial Government declare their involvement as a sign of war and will be eliminating the Bracer Guild next in Leman."

"What?! They're going to destroy the Bracer Guild?!" Levi asked in shock with the others.

"Indeed. I've heard that the Bracer Guild HQ has been preparing to counteract this problem but was too powerless against the Imperial government. If they wish to avoid the entire guild being destroyed, then they must arrest the rogue Bracers and hand them over to the Imperial Government. Of course, both Bracer Guilds from Liberl and the Mushroom Kingdom refuse, which only makes things worse."

"Damn, Sara and Fie are not going to like this." Levi muttered. "I'm sure they must have heard about it by now."

"Where did you manage to get this intel?" Yui asked.

Oh, I've got plenty of contracts on the orbal network and other places that send me information from time to time." Imelda answered. "You took the time to come visit, so it's only fair I shared a bit of their info with you."

"I see, thank you for telling us." Kirito said.

Juna nodded. "Yeah. At least we know what Lloyd's already tried-"

"Don't go thanking me yet." Imelda interrupted. "I don't give away information for free."

"Yep. I knew it. there's a catch." Kirito sighed.

"Oh, don't look so worried. I'm not talking about mira. All anyone talks about those days is war, war, war. Even demand the SSS arrested and executed for their crimes. It's so tedious. If you can throw a wrench into the government's plan, and somehow return the people back to their senses. It'll liven things up a little. But if you want to buy a couple of antiques, too, I won't stop you!"

"She's a tough one, ain't she?" Ash sweatdrop.

"But it's reasonable of her." Erza said.

"Oh. This might be a bit out of the blue, but can you all cook?" Imelda asked.

"Some of us do. Why do you ask?" Asuna asked.

"You see, boredom is what I hate the most. That's why I'm always looking for new and interesting things to try. THat goes for cuisine, too."

"In other words, you'd like to try food you've never tasted before?" Altina asked.

"Hyen hyen. Precisely! I've been to High-class restaurants, common diners, junk food joints, places that offer unusual cuisine. Like the Mushroom Kingdom for example. Some of their cuisine is quite something! I could never forget the taste. Truly superb. I'm looking for something unique. Now show me your personal take on these dishes. If you could do that, I'd really appreciate it."

"Heh. A straight-talkin' lady who knows what she wants. I respect that." Ash said with a smug look.

"I see... So that's what it was about." Juna mused. "If I can come up with unique recipe, I don't mind letting you try my cooking."

"Excellent! I'll be looking forward to that!" Imelda chuckled as the group leave her store.

"Okay, I think that's all the information we got today about the situation and about the singularity." Kirito said.

"Right." Levi nodded before turning to Juna. "Juna, why don't we visit your family for a bit. They're not under surveillance so I don't see the issue. Plus a certain someone is also there if you recall."

"I'd love to see your home and say hello to your family, Juna!" Musse smiled.

"Ah, that's right. You haven't met them before, have you?" Kurt asked.

"Either do us but why don't we pay them a visit." Erza suggest.

"Aww, thanks guys... That's really thoughtful of you." Juna smiled "Okay then! Let's go back to West Street to Bellhiem Apartment! Follow me!"

The group begin to make their way from the Entertainment City and walk their way back to West Street where they go to Bellhiem Apartment.

"So your family lives in this apartment, Juna?" Musse asked

"Damn. Rein it back a bit, why don'tcha? You're makin' my place look bad." Ash joked.

"Well excuse me for being middle-class." Juna roll her eyes.

"Aww, he's just messing with you Juna." Venti chuckled.

"It's been quite a few months since our last visit. Your family's apartment is on the floor below, right?" Kurt asked.

"We should hurry and see if they're in." Altina said as they walked the hall, went downstairs, and went to the door at the end.

Juna knocked on the door, but there was no reply. "Huh?"

"What, nobody's home?" Ash asked

"The door's open... I guess we're about to find out." Juna replied as they go into her apartment.

"Game!"

The group heard a voice and heard a video game victory.

"The winner is Kirby!"

"That sounds like Smash Bros." Levi blink.

"Aw, man! I lost again! Let's go one more time!" A child said.

"Come on, Ken! She doesn't wanna!" Another child replied.

"Bark, Bark!" A Dog bark

"Snubbull..." A Snubbul bark.

"Oh, it's all right. I can make time for one more round." A mature woman spoke.

"There are people in there." Musse said.

"That's my room." Juna trailed off.

"Looks like they're playing Smash Bros..." Levi turn to Juna.

"Yeah, it's gotta be Ken, Nan and..."

"Juna?" A voice called out as they turn and see a woman who look like she dropped her groceries, Accompanying her was a Fidough.

"Mom...I'm uh...I'm home."

Juna's mother Lina rush to her and hug her daughter.

"You're okay! You're really okay! Thank Aidios you're back! I was so worried..." Lina responded in relief.

"Mom..." Juna replied before she cried. "It's so good to see you again, too. I'm glad you're safe."

"Juna?" Juna's bedroom opened.

"Jona!?"

Twin came out of Juna's room as they both ran to their big sister as Lina let go for their children to hug their big sister.

"Yaaay! You're home!" Nana cheer

"Where'd you go? What happened?!" Ken (Juna's little brother) asked.

"Ken, Nana..." Juna petted their head with a tearful smile. "I missed both of you so much!"

"So this is Juna's family. They're so adorable." Musse said quietly.

Altina nodded. "Agreed. And it's nice to see that they're doing so well."

"Tell me about it. A loving family is always a warming site." Venti added

A familiar's girl's voice giggled as she came out of Juna's room with a Snubbull. "Oh, I knew you would all be okay."

"Ah, there you are Loiuse." Levi smiled.

"Oh, it's good to see you, Juna, and you as well, Levi. And the rest of Class VII." She replied.

"You too Loise. Sorry we didn't call you. It would be better to talk in person." Levi smiled

"No apology needed. It's understableable." Loiuse smiled

"Bark, bark!" The two Fidough bark as they both wag their on Juna's legs.

"Oh hey! They're Fidough! I seen them around! Since when did you guys have them?" Juna asked.

"Oh, did we forget to mention? We adopted them." Ken answered.

"Yeah! They're so cute! And they really help mommy out!" Nana giggled

"Hehe, they did wanted a Pokemon companion like you have Juna. Speaking off, do you have some Pokeballs? I also brought over a new friend." Lina said as a Togepi pop out of the bag.

"Tigepiiiii~"

"OOOh that's so cuuuuute!" Juna eye sparking as she ran over and pick up Togepi up. "You're so cute~"

Altina pull out her ARCUS Unit and scan Togepi. "Togepi, the Spike Ball Pokémon. A Fairy-Type. Togepi is filled with an energy that makes people happy. When treated well, Togepi shares this energy with others, but when it comes near a human with an impure heart, this energy quickly disappears, leaving Togepi exhausted."

"This little dear was wandering in the streets. It was abandoned by its trainer. Poor thing." Lina said. "I couldn't have the heart to let it alone in the street so I decided to bring her home with me."

"What!?" Juna gasped. "How dare they abandon this cute Pokemon! It's injustice!" Juna then cuddle. "There there, little Togepi, you're safe with me, okay?"

"Togepiiiiii~" Togepi cooed.

"Juna, you have some Pokeballs right? Do you think you can capture them?" Lina asked

"Oh, yeah!" Juna pull out her Pokeballs and tap on Togepi as it enter the Pokeball and then did the same to the other teo Fidough as their Pokeball shake three times and they're capture. "Done!"

"All right!" Ken and Nana cheered as they grabbed one of the Pokeballs and came out was one of the Fidough. "Welcome back Fidough!"

"Okay, want to take the other one?" Juna asked

"We could. But maybe you can have it along with the Togepi." Lina suggest.

"Really? Are you sure?" Juna asked

"Yes. As much as I want to keep both Pokemon around, I'm afraid it's a little dangerous for them to keep them here. Espcually with what's going on in Crossbell."

"Right. As the Pokedex said about Togepi, staying near humans with impure hearts cause it to feel exhausted." Altina told her.

"Oh, you're right. But what about the other Fidough?" Juna asked.

"You can take him with you too. I think Ken and Nana will be fine. Plus, I have a feeling you might need another companion. If you have room." Lina answered

"Noe that you mention it. I only have one Pokemon. Aww, thanks Mom... I promise I'll train and take care of my Pokemon." Juna smiled.

"Not at all. I know you'll take good care of them." Lina smiled as she turn to the others. "And I like to thank you all for taking good care of my daughter."

"There's no need for that. It's quite opposite. Juna been taking care of us." Levi smiled. "Plus, I also owe Juna one for helping raising the Old Class VII morale."

"Aww, Levi." Juna scratch her cheeks.

"So Loiuse, who's also here in Crossbell?" Levi asked

"Oh, that would be Valerie, Freddy, and Stark." Louise replied. "They came to Crossbell with me. Though we're working seperately for now."

"Right, and where are they at the moment?"

"Valarie's over at St. Ursula Hospital, Freddy's helping out at the Fisherman's Guild, and Stark's investigating all over the province. As for me, I'm acting as a liaison between us all, while seeing what intel I can dig up from the orbal network in the meantime."

Juna smiled. "I guess there's a reason they made you leader of the comms team during our field exercises."

"We had a hunch you might split up and work to your own strength." Venti wink.

"We've taken a good look around the town ourselves, but didn't come up with much. Did you found out anything useful?" Kurt asked

"Unfortunately, the singularity is still a mystery to us." Louise replied. "All the latest rumors on the net are either about the governor general's absence, of some so-called 'genius hacker'."

"'A genius hacker' huh?" Kirito raised an eyebrow.

"Anyone would entitle themselves to that. We're friends with different hackers." Yui said.

"Yeah like Futaba." Juna nodded. "We know what hackers are since we did learn about it from Professor Schmidy and from our other friends. So what's so special about this 'genius hacker'?"

"This one's been leaking confidential military information and criticizing the government's decision on various message boards. The authorities have no idea who they are, let alone how to stop them." Louise answered

'Welcome to Crossbell, Thors Military Academy's Class VII and friends. Sorry to be so abrupt, but I have some information I'm sure you'll find interesting. Come meet me at the X Sector in the Geofront, and I'll tell you more.'

"I have no idea. The sender's not displaying properly." Louise answered.

"Then it must be this self-proclaim "Genius hacker"." Kirito air quote. "And how odd timing too. It sounds like a trap."

"Agreed. They know we're here so it could be more dangerous not to respond." Musse added. "Kirito, you have some hacking skills don't you?"

"I have some level of experience. But the true expert would be Yui."

"Yeah. I can look into this hacker's whereabouts and even look into them." Yui nodded.

"Wow! Glad we can count on you then!" Juna cheered as Yui pull out her ARCUS units to hologram projection, and then begin to type into wireless and hacking do down for a moment.

"Hmm..." Yui grumbled.

"What's wrong Yui?" Kirito asked

"This hacker has some state-of-the-art firewall. There's even something blocking the camera of the hacker's camera on their terminal. But I can confirm that their whereabouts are indeed in X Sector in the Geofront."

"Me, Alisa, Emma have been to the Geofront. But that was Sector B if I recall." Levi mused. "So where is it at?"

"According to what I found out, it's located underground in the Entertainment District. The only way through that location is in the Barco Casino." Yui answered

"I remember that place was block off by the people, right? Wana check it out?" Gray asked

"Aww, you have to go away again already?" Ken groan

"But you only just got home..." Nana groan

"Ken... Nana..." Juna trailed off
