(The Castle of the Monster King: 5:47pm)
Frisk woke up with a really bad headache. It took her a while to get her bearings a bit, as she tried to remember what happened.
That's when she realised where she was.
In the judgement hall, face to face with King Asriel, as he dwarfs her size in comparison. He wore a royal purple cloak, with a green armour, and what looked like a heart locket (aka, the most powerfulest artefact, allowing the user for insanely high strength and durability, even at LV. 1).
"So, you're one of the humans that have come from an alternate dimension," his booming voice said to her.
"Uhh… it's not what you think," Frisk said.
(Outside of the Orphanage: 5:48pm)
"FRISK," Chara yelled, "FRISK!"
'Where'd you go,' Chara asked.
"I'm right here."
Chara jumped, as CORE! had returned, seemingly out of nowhere too.
"Sorry, you were talking about your Frisk, weren't you," CORE! Frisk replied.
"What the hell was that," Chara said, "You showed up, barely answered any of our questions, and then dipped out like some kind of badass."
"I…" CORE! started.
"No, no more excuses," Chara replied.
She then elbowed CORE! to a wall, before letting her hand on fire.
"I want answers, now," Chara replied.
"Ok, I'll tell you everything," CORE said.
(The Castle of the Monster King: 5:51 pm)
"Ok, I don't know what you want, but I swear, whatever you think I did, I'm innocent," Frisk said, "I don't even have that high of LV."
"That is true," King Asriel said, "In comparison to most kids, you have one of the considerably lower LV. But that's not the reason you're here."
King Asriel then slowly but surely walked towards Frisk.
"You're here for a reason," King Asriel said, "Multiple people who look like you have been showing up in our dimension, for seemingly no reason. And the Royal Scientist seems to believe you're the reason."
"What," Frisk whispered to herself, "Why me?"
That's when the Royal Scientist, W. D. Gaster arrived. He wore a black cloak, had professional looking glasses, and what looked like a scar in both of his eyes.
"Do you have an answer for this… peculiar phenomenon," Gaster asked.
Frisk nodded her head no.
"Hhhmmm," Gaster said, before heading towards King Asriel, "The kid is lying."
"Child," King Asriel said, "Speak the truth. One thing I hate more is liars."
"I'm not lying," Frisk said, "I'm just as confused as you are. I mean, there are multiple people that look like me, hell, my sister looks a lot like me. But now, there are multiple people who not only look like me, but seem to be me. I don't know what's going on."
"Then how do you explain this," King Asriel said, as he showed Frisk a picture of herself, in space.
"My daughter, Aster, showed me these drawings," King Asriel said, "They're pretty cute. You seemed to like to draw them. What was your inspiration?"
"I… I just had an idea," Frisk said quietly, "A dream… of me floating in space."
"Are you sure it was just a dream," King Asriel asked.
"I'm sure of it," Frisk said.
"Then you don't believe it was real," King Asriel asked.
"Why would it be," Frisk said, "It's just a dream."
"You have no idea…" King Asriel said, before standing up and declaring, "She's innocent… until proven guilty. She will be put in a spare guest room for the time being."
King Asriel then looked at one of the guards.
"Red," he said, "Take her to the third guest room on the right. We'll need her for later. Right now, we shall not harm her."
Frisk sighed a sigh of relief. She is then taken by Red to a spare room.
"Take a nap, kid," Red said, "You'll need it."
Red then left a confused Frisk to her own devices.
(The Judgement Hall; Castle: 6:03pm)
Gaster came into the hall, after everyone left. He wanted a word of privacy alone, with the king.
"My King," Gaster said, "You can't believe that child has no connections to what is happening. We've been seeing humans that look identical, if not the same, looking like that, and you don't believe there's a connection."
"I do… but she does not seem to be in the know of everything," King Asriel said, "If anything, getting her involved may make things worse."
"But sir, she could be the answer for everything," Gaster said.
"She also just a nine year old child," King Asriel said, "We don't want to scare her. We'll ask her later, but for now, we need to keep our distance. Understand."
"Yes sir, understood," Gaster said.
(Unknown Lab: 7:03pm)
Gaster was down in this lab. He started to type.
Entry Number 23
We're close… I know it. If only the king would allow me to have a private word with that kid.
No matter. I've been patient enough.
Soon, we'll be able to preach the bounds of what is possible. And then, my twisted dream will come true.
Turning around, we see two kids, one with a green and yellow sweater, and one with a red and black one, with a flower with them, sleeping in the corner.
(Outside the castle: 7:04 pm)
Something teleported just outside. The figure emerged from an inky puddle, before revealing his shape to be a skeleton. A skeleton with monk-like clothes, a scarf, a stash with multi-color vials, and no shoes.
"All right, it's time," Ink said.
Author's Note: Well this took sooner than I thought, maybe I'm getting better at managing this. Anyways, short chapter, but the next few are about to get a bit more serious.
Hoped you enjoy.
