'As I said before, the punk pulled a gun on me and I was forced to fire back. It was a self defense killing!' Rat said.
'And what was the real point of you firing at him?' The officer replied.
'He was trying to rob me. It was all very traumatic.'
'Except, Mr. Lipski has no criminal record of any kind. Why would he ever want to rob you?'
'The guy was mental. Unpredictable. Very scary. I had to defend myself. Is that good?' asked Rat.
Sure enough, the cop let Rat go home scott free and his story was on the news that night.
Goat didn't believe it for a minute, he had known the victim for years, and he would never just randomly rob anyone...
And he was right. When Rat got home, he put his new dollar bills in a safe and silently said: 'Like taking candy from a baby.'
