[Episode 1 : Prologue]
Joel crouches underneath the bushes adjusting the grib on his sword. He hears Katniss creep up behind him and an arrow is notched in the bow.
He makes a finger gun towards the bunny that grazes in front of them and the arrow is sent whizzing over his head and straight into the heart of the bunny killing it immediately.
They approach the bunny and lock hands closing their eyes. "Thanks you for your sacrifice", Joel said before picking it up and slinging it in their hunting bag.
Their hands lock again and they make their way through the brush to the top of the hill. They sit down together and watch as the sun peaks up from over the lush valley.
Katniss rests her head on Joel's shoulder and his arm comes around to stroke her cheek. "Baby, it'll be okay. I promise", He assures.
Katniss looks up at him her eyes wide. Tilting her chin up Joel kissed his girlfriend's supple lips softly in a silent reassurance.
"It'll be okay", He repeats again turning to look at the sunrise.
