Itsy and Shock were surprised hearing the final bell signalling the end of the school-day and Shock had tucked Groot gently into her Spidercoon backpack so nobody would notice or freak oht abou him getting onto the bus sitting together but talking despite the other kits pm the bus were talking loudly which was irritating but Itsy and Shock were ignoring them. "Of course your parents are probably excited to hear about yoyr first day. My dad was like this on my first day." Itsy said seeing Shock nodding as her stop came up getting up making kits stunned that she lived in the apartment-building that Great Leader Rocket's family lived in, not realising she was Great Leader Rocket's kit.
That's good they haven't figured it out yet. Hmmmm Lylla isn't here at the stop which means she and daddy are at a function or something. She then entered the building taking the elevatir to her family's penthouse apartment which was palace like using her key to open the door seeing that Nobody was there making her frown which Groot noticed peeking oht from her bag but Shock perked up hearing footsteps seeing Mocket hugging her making her understand, the kit was expecting her mom and dad or at least her mom would be home so relieved Mocket was here.
"Why don't you tell me how your first day went over a snack." Mocket told her seeing her nod grinning feeling happy aroubd her entering into the kitchen washing her paws before sitting at the kitchen table. She told her all about how things had went including making friends with Itsy, and her classroom only she then asked where her parents went. "They left to attend a function so it's just you and me honey." she told her making Shock sighing sensing this was happening.
"I figured this would happen and it's okay." Shock replied to her hearing sounds from her bag seeing the Grootcoon hugging Shock's leg astounding Mocket as Shock explained to herhow she and Itsy had found him impressing Mocket guessing she wanted to show her parents surprised Mocket said he could stay.
"Thanks but you okay you look sleepy, you should take an nap. We could snuggle." she told her making Mocket nodding liking this as she'd been feeling lonely like Shock when her folks were at parties and functions. "Sure honey that would be nice." she told Shock as they were heading to Mocket's room.
Later that night both Rocket and Lylla were home from the party, sensing the apartment was quiet, too quiet so was checking on Mocket and Shock, seeing Mocket asleep with her nightlight on guessing Shock had did that plus wanted to check on Shock seeing her asleep with what looked like a Grootcoon guessing she'd foubd it. "We'll talk to her in the morning as she and Mock were probably having fun while we were gone." Lylla told Rocket as they left the room heading to their room.
That next morning, Groot and Shock woke up smelling breakfast, but Shock was surprised seeing her parents there which made them guess they'd gotten home after she and Mocket had fallen asleep along with Groot but dressed realising it was a school day sitting at the table. "Good morning honey, and see you slept well along with your friend." Rocket told her seeing her nodding as she explained to them like with Mocket surprised they were letting Groot stay only after breakfast, she was getting ready for school seeing Groot want to go.
"Maybe you should stay, and I'll be right back. You can play with my toys if you want." she said grabbing her backpack heading out her room and heading to the bus stop relieved she hadn't missed the bus despite being tired and had been playing with Groot after Mocket had fallen asleep.
After getting on the bus, she was sitting near Itsy telling her what had happened last night which made her grin. "Told you they'd let you keep him." she told Shock seeing her nodding yawning. "Groot and me were up all night playing pkus my folks didn't cone home until real late, after we fell asleep." she told her unaware they had a test today despute Shock doing homework her mind was foggy waking up after the bus arrived at school.
"Books away, as it's pop quiz time." their teacher said hearing kits grumbling as she passed out test papers as Shock maxe easy work of it surprising Itsy after pencils down but Shock was relaxing after the teacher collected their tests hoping Groot was okay back at home
