It's noon.

The trip has been very good for the Schoppenboer family so far. From Amsterdam, they passed through the towns of Utrecht and Breda and briefly stopped in the village of Baarle-Nassau, where Maya was born, for some gas. In Baarle, the sisters had a lot of fun counting all the times they crossed the border, totalling to a dozen times.

Soon enough, they were in Belgium proper, and traffic was noticeably heavier, especially in Antwerp, and only now did they get to arrive in Gent. They then stopped at a parking, and Mrs. Schoppenboer began cooking lunch.

Maya, still on her bed, was talking to her friends on WhatsApp when she began feeling herself coming down from her last drink. Not only was she anxious, but she was also tired. So, she grabbed her Stanley cup and began drinking from it. It was a bit colder now, but it was still drinkable nonetheless. Soon enough, her energy and satisfaction came right back with even more intensity. At lunch, she ate the bare minimum, as she wasn't hungry at all, and, soon after lunch, she approached her sisters and said:

"Hey, Coco, hey Mymy! Do you wanna walk around town with me?"

"Sure thing!", Both of them replied.

"Alright, let me get my stuff real quick...", Maya replied before getting her backpack and wearing it. Then, she approached her mom. "Hey, mom, me, Coco and Mymy want to have a walk outside. Can we do that?"

"Of course!", Her mom replied. "I just want you girls back here by 4 PM."

"Alright, mom, bye!"

The three then exited the RV and began wandering around town. They found an Aldi store not too far from the parking lot and stopped there to get sodas and, as per Mymy's request, a big batch of stroopwafels. Then, after strolling around some more, they found the Koning Albertpark, which was not busy at the time, and sat on a bench near the park's playground. The three then began talking.

"This is a really nice park, isn't it?", Coco asked.

"It really is!", Maya replied. "It's very chill in here."

"Eh, our parks are better!", Mymy replied.

"Mymy, why are you so bigoted towards Belgians?", Coco asked.

"Why shouldn't I?", Mymy replied. "Half of them are French, and the other half are people who claim to be Dutch yet allow themselves to be exploited and subjugated by those French people! Hell, I was surprised that they even had stroopwafels here instead of snails!"

"What are you even talking about, Mymy?", Maya asked.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about, Maya!", Mymy replied. "Look at Brussel! It used to be a pure Dutch city before those snail eaters showed up and replaced us!"

"First of all, none of this makes any sense whatsoever.", Maya replied. "Second, why do you keep saying 'us' when you're Japanese?"

"FOR THE LAST TIME, I AM NOT FROM JAPAN, YOU BRAIN-DEAD DR-"

"Girls, girls, stop!", Coco intervened, a bit furious. "Don't ruin the moment for all of us, please!"

"Whatever...", Mymy replied, pouty.

The sisters then finished their sodas and stroopwafels and kept roaming around town. They saw the Sint-Pietersabdij, the Sint-Jacobskerk, the Museum of Industry, and the Museum voor Schone Kunsten, and took many pictures along the way. By the end, they still had about 40 minutes left.

"Well, then!", Coco said. "Is everyone satisfied?"

"Yea!", Both Maya and Mymy replied.

"Good!", Coco said. "Since we have a couple of minutes left, how about we stop at a mall for a second before we go back to the RV?"

"That sounds like a good idea!", Maya replied.

"Yeah!", Mymy added.

"Alright, then, let's go!", Coco said.

The three then went to a nearby supermarket and scattered. Maya, starting to come down from the alcohol and caffeine in her system, immediately went to the alcohol section of the store and began looking at the products there. There were lots of wine in there, especially Belgian wine, some vodka, lots of Belgian beer, and some whiskey. While looking at the wine section, she spotted something in the wine section that caught her eye. There was a tag saying "NEW!", and another one saying "Imported.", and it was called Buckfast Tonic Wine.

"Wait a minute, now...", Maya thought. "Isn't this the wine that one of my friends on Discord talked about the other day? Yeah, I think it is. Supposedly, it has both alcohol and caffeine in it..."

She then thought about it a bit more and decided to snatch two bottles of Buckfast and quickly shoved them in her backpack. Then, she quickly left the area, grabbed two towels from another part of the store, wrapped the bottles in the towel, shoved another one in her backpack, and shoved four cans of Stella Artois beer on top of the towel as well as a bottle of vodka. Then, pretending like nothing had just happened, she grabbed half a dozen cans of Monster Energy, a huge bag of jelly beans, a bag of kruidnoten, and a bag of Cheetos. Then, after meeting up with her sisters, they paid for their stuff and went back to the RV. Coco and Mymy went to talk with their parents about the trip while Maya went upstairs, dumping her backpack and the things she paid for on her bed. She then grabbed one of the bottles of Buckfast that she had snatched and opened it up.

"Welp, here goes nothing...", Maya thought, thinking about what her Scottish Discord friends have said about Buckfast and violent crime.

She then took a sip. It tasted a lot like medicine, but wasn't too nasty for her to handle at all. She then gulped down half of the bottle, when...

"Hey, Maya!", Her mom called from distance.

"Yes, mom?", Maya said while quickly closing the bottle and shoving it back in her backpack.

"Did you take pictures of your trip too?"

"I did!"

"Cool, mind showing me the pictures?"

"Not at all, mom!"

Maya then went downstairs and showed all of the pictures she took. The first ones were slightly blurry, as it was hard to take good photos while inebriated, but slowly got better and better as she got more and more sober over time.

"Those are some nice pictures, Maya!", Her mom said.

"Thanks, mom!", Maya replied.

"You're welcome! Anyway, I bet you girls are hungry after this long trip! Want me to make something for you?"

"Sure thing, mom!", Coco replied.

Mrs. Schoppenboer then began making a light meal, and Maya went back to her bed. She then grabbed the cans of energy drink that she bought and placed them in the fridge and once again went back upstairs, drinking a bit more from the bottle that she had opened up earlier, and chatting on WhatsApp while waiting for the Buckfast to kick in. Soon enough, she was once again taken over by a strong rush of caffeine-laced alcohol, and immediately understood why Scottish people love it so much. The sisters then had their afternoon tea, and then hit the road again an hour later. They then stopped at Calais, had dinner, watched TV together, and went to sleep. Still affected by the caffeine from what she drank earlier, Maya took a whole bunch of vodka as her nightcap and finally passed out.
