Amanda: We arrived in Paris, but Taka wasn't exactly fond of it. While Haru and Mary were playing matchmaker, Taka was dealing with his own problems. Paris was the last vacation he and his mom took. Being back in Paris brought back memories that seemed so distant. He and T.K. found the Server Tower, but had to deal with Gigadramon. Realizing that Ponymon was now part of his family, Unimon digivolved to Hippogriffomon. Together, they tricked Gigadramon into destroying the tower and sent the dragon packing.
"The Sea's a Harsh Force"
The digidestined have been traveling around the world and trying to destroy all of the Server Towers that Hiori has set. They managed to destroy the on in Paris, but now they're in another part of the world. Now, they find themselves on a beautiful beach on a clear sunny day.
"Too bad we're here on a mission. Otherwise, we would have a lot of fun on the beach. Good day, Australia!" Taka called as they were now in Sydney, Australia. That was where Izzy told the next Server Tower is.
"Where are all the kangaroos? Aren't kangaroos a big deal around here or something?" Davis questioned as he had a look around.
"Yeah, but they're more in the Outback, not civilized places like this." Cody said. "The next Server Tower is here somewhere, but the people around here do usually seem laidback. I don't think they would be too worried about it."
"Well, we can play in the sand another time." Sid said. "That tower has to be here somewhere. I'm sure we all know the drill by now." They all did with each of them heading in different directions. Breaking into their usual groups, Cody was with Ben.
"Ben, I think we should check around the beach." Cody suggested.
"The beach? Why there?" Ben questioned.
"It's not just so we can cheat the others out of some beach fun." Armadillomon said.
"Armadillomon can digivolve into Submarimon. Between him and MailBirdramon, we'll be able to check any nearby islands." Cody figured.
"Uh... Right... Sounds good." Ben said as he tried to go along with it. Then, someone riding on boat sped by and nearly splashed them with water, but Ben moved away. It seemed like it scared him with how he took deep breaths. Staring at the ocean, Ben felt an overwhelming feeling of fear come over him. Just staring at the water made him feel uneasy and a little hard to breathe.
"Ben? What's wrong?" Swallowmon asked and had him snap back to his senses.
"Nothing. Let's go." Ben said as he tried to push everything behind him and pushed on ahead.
...
The Beach
Cody and Ben hit a public beach and were having a look around to try and find the Server Tower. However, there was no sign of it anywhere. Not to mention, Ben was acting like he was trying to avoid the water. It was starting to become a little concerning.
"Where could that Server Tower be? Maybe these people should have worries." Armadillomon said.
"We'll find it. We know it's somewhere in Sydney. Maybe one of the others will find it." Cody said.
"Did you hear about that weird tower on that small island?"
"Yeah, and there's some sort of sea monster guarding it." It looked like Cody was in luck. He overheard a couple people talking and knew it had to be the Server Tower.
"It looks like we spoke too soon. The Server Tower is just on a small island not far from here. It shouldn't be that hard to find it now." Cody said. "I'll let the others know and we'll head out to find it."
"Island? You mean it's out in the water?" Ben questioned as he didn't like where this was going, but they had to set out to sea in order to find and destroy the Server Tower.
...
The Sea
Cody had Armadillomon become Submarimon and Swallowmon became MailBirdramon. Cody and Ben rode their digimon to get to the Server Tower so they can destroy it. However, Ben was feeling a little uneasy. He kept looking down at the water and he looked like he was going to be sick.
"Remember to be careful, Submarimon. There's suppose to be some sort of "sea monster" guarding the island the tower is on. In other words, there's a digimon." Cody said.
"No worries, Cody." Submarimon said as he wasn't worried, but MailBirdramon was about Ben.
"Ben, are you okay?" MailBirdramon asked.
"Yeah. I'll be fine." Ben said.
"You don't look like it. You have nothing to fear as long as I am with you. I will protect you." MailBirdramon assured.
"Hopefully there is nothing to worry about. Look!" Ben said as he pointed ahead and could see it. On a small island just ahead is the Server Tower. "We found it! Let's take it down while we still can!" It looked like there was going to be a clear shot, but they were wrong. Ben looked at the water and noticed the shadow of something slithering in the water. "MailBirdramon, watch out below you! There's something in the water!" MailBirdramon looked around and soon spotted it. Just then, the digimon emerged out of the water and tried to attack them with him ramming his head against MailBirdramon. "What was that?!"
"Trouble!" MailBirdramon said.
Cody and Submarimon had a better look at what they were up against, but it didn't look any better.
"Submarimon, is that MegaSeadramon?" Cody questioned as it looked different than the digimon he remembered.
"No. That's WaruSeadramon." Submarimon corrected.
Digimon Analyzer (Submarimon): He might look like MegaSeadramon, but that's WaruSeadramon. He's a lot more vicious than his counterpart. All of his attacks practically make him a living storm.
WaruSeadramon proved Submarimon to be right as he unleashed a blast of lightning at Submarimon and nearly hit him.
"He's under the affects of the Server Tower. We need to move around him and save him." Cody said.
"I don't think that matters. WaruSeadramon has always been a vicious digimon." Submarimon warned. WaruSeadramon kept attacking as he chased after Submarimon in the water like he was prey.
"Quick, MailBirdramon! While Submarimon is keeping WaruSeadramon busy, attack the Server Tower! This could be our chance to destroy it!" Ben ordered. MailBirdramon went with it as he took aim at the Server Tower, but WaruSeadramon already caught on to them.
"Plasma Cannon!" MailBirdramon fired at the tower, but WaruSeadramon used his own power and caused a cyclone of water to form and block the attack.
"Not good!" Ben said.
"And it's about to get a lot worse!" MailBirdramon said as the cyclone was coming right at him. It smashed right into MailBirdramon and it caused Ben to fall right off. "Ben!" He called as Ben fell right in the water. Once he did, he started to panic and tried to stay afloat.
"Get me out of here!" Ben said as he was fearing for his life. He should as WaruSeadramon was coming right at him and Ben had no way to protect himself.
"Oxygen Torpedo!" Submarimon slowed WaruSeadramon down as he fired missiles of oxygen and blasted WaruSeadramon with it. Submarimon was able to get to Ben first and leaped right out of the water with Ben right on Submarimon. When that happened, MailBirdramon flew in and caught them in his talons.
"Ben! Are you okay?!" MailBirdramon said, but Ben was still mentally recovering, trying to calm himself down as he took deep breaths. Cody was starting to get worried about Ben himself now.
"I think it might be best if we pull back for now." Cody said. That probably was the smart move with MailBirdramon carrying all of them away and WaruSeadramon awaiting for his prey to return.
...
The Beach
Cody and Ben retreated back to the beach. Once they got there, they met up with the others and informed them all about what happened.
"The Server Tower is on a small island and is being guarded my WaruSeadramon? From what you just told us, this digimon does sound vicious." Haru said.
"What are we waiting for? Let's grab a boat and get out there." Sid said as he was saying what everyone was thinking.
"Wait just a moment." Swallomon said. "I think it might be best that you leave this to me and Armadillomon."
"Why you?" Mary asked.
"Some of you digimon aren't suited to fight in the water." Swallowmon said. "Also, I was told that WaruSeadramon carry a poison with them. I wouldn't want any of you to get afflicted. Armadillomon and I should be safe. My metal coating as MailBirdramon protects me, as does Submarimon's armor. We're best suited for fighting him."
"Okay, but we can just go for the Server Tower while you keep the sea serpent busy." Amanda said.
"WaruSeadramon has always been a vicious digimon." Swallowmon said. "His power in the water is great. He was able to create a powerful water cyclone that was pretty powerful. I wouldn't want the rest of you to get caught in it." That's what he's claiming, but the others weren't convinced. "Could you please just trust me on this? We'll contact you if we need help."
"Okay, Swallowmon. We'll trust you, but are you sure Ben up for this? He doesn't look too good." Haru said as he looked towards where Ben was sitting. Ben looked out to the water and couldn't shake the feeling of fear. He could barely look at it.
"Ben..." He looked up and saw Cody was there and was handing him a drink. "Here. It's ice tea. I figured it was better than water to help you calm down."
"Thank you." Ben said as he took the tea. The others decided to let Cody handle this one with Armadillomon and Swallowmon gathering with their partners.
"Ben, something is clearly wrong with you. Are you scared of the water?" Swallowmon asked out of concern.
"It's okay if you are. Cody was the same when he was a kid." Armadillomon said.
"Well... I am." Ben admitted. "It's because something happened once. My family and I went camping once, and my dad and I went fishing. I was rather excited about it. My line caught on something and I ended up falling in the water." He said as the memory was practically a scar. He never forgot how he was just a kid and his family went camping. While he was fishing with his father, his line caught on something. He tried to pull it up on the boat, but Ben ended up getting pulled in the water instead. "I tried to get out, but I ended up getting tangled in some plants under the water. I couldn't get out and I was struggling to get some air. I really thought I was going to drown." A moment like that would be terrifying to a kid. It felt like the water was trying to hold him down and he was struggling for air and could barely breathe until he couldn't anymore. "My dad managed to get me out just in time. Mom was just as scared as I was. Ever since that day, I've been afraid to go out in water." They say that the sea is a harsh mistress, but it seems to be really hard on poor Ben now.
"I see. That must have been terrifying." Cody said as he understood why Ben seemed so scared.
"That's why you were uneasy to go out there. It was awfully brave of you to go out there." Swallowmon said.
"I can hold it together as long as I'm not in the water, and this is important." Ben said. "We have to destroy the Server Tower so innocent digimon aren't affected by it, and try to keep Hiori from learning about the Digital World so he can't hurt any digimon."
"You're being very brave, Ben." Cody said. "However, we are the only ones here who can do anything about this now. I was once scared of the water, but I trust Armadillomon here to protect me. You just need to trust that Swallowmon will protect you like your father did."
"He's right. I promise that I will do everything I can to protect you." Swallowmon vowed. That did make Ben feel better, and he can't let his fear get the better of him. They have to destroy that Server Tower and WaruSeadramon home. Ben has to do this.
...
The Island
MailBirdramon and Submarimon headed back to the island. One way or another, they need to destroy the Server Tower, but they have to get around WaruSeadramon before they can do that.
"This should get him to come out." Mailbirdramon said as he took the lead.
"Night Flare!" MailBirdramon flew over the water and unleashed energy mines that exploded against the water. It apparently worked as WaruSeadramon emerged out of the water and tried to attack him. MailBidramon did a quick spin and smashed his tail against WaruSeadramon and knocked him back in the water.
"My turn!" Submarimon said as he swam up and was planning to strike with his horn, but WaruSeadramon shot lightning from his horn and forced Submarimon to steer off course.
"Be careful, Submarimon. One blast from that and we could be in real trouble." Cody warned. While they were fighting, MailBidramon quickly flew over the island.
"Ben, jump off now. You'll be safe on the island." MailBirdramon said as he appealed to Ben's fears. Ben jumped off and landed on the island. "I'll try to help Submarimon. Stay where it's safe."
"Be careful." Ben said with MailBirdramon flying back over the water. "While they're fighting, maybe there's a way I can gain access to the Server Tower and learn more about what Hiori Kaido is trying to pull." Ben hurried to the tower to try and learn more about it while MailBirdramon was back over the water.
"Submarimon, stay clear!" MailBirdramon called as he unleashed a series of plasma shots again and tried to blast WaruSeadramon. WaruSeadramon moved around to try and avoid the shots, but MailBirdramon wasn't going to let him escape so easily.
"Oxygen Torpedo!" Submarimon helped out as he fired oxygen and blasted WaruSeadramon with it.
"So far, so good. Once WaruSeadramon is incapacitated, we can destroy the Server Tower and Ben can send WaruSeadramon back to the Digital World." Cody said as things appeared to be going well, but that didn't last. WaruSeadramon was using some of his power again and caused the water to shift around and was creating another cyclone.
"Oh no! Cody, hold on!" Submarimon said as the two of them braced themselves. They ended up getting caught in the current and was being thrown around. The two of them were in real trouble and it got worse when WaruSeadramon fired a blast of lightning and it made contact. The blast was so powerful that they were blown right out of the water.
"Submarimon! Cody!" MailBirdramon called and alerted Ben. Submarimon ended up crashing on the island and turned back into Armadillomon.
"Cody!" Ben called as he hurried back to them.
"Hold on!" MailBirdramon called, but now he had to worry about himself as WaruSeadramon emerged out of the water and bit him right on the neck. WaruSeadramon pulled and ended up dragging MailBirdramon into the sea.
"MailBirdramon!" Ben called. MailBirdramon tried to fight back, but WaruSeadramon was too strong and kept trying to drag him down. "Hang in there!" Ben encouraged, but it wasn't looking good.
"Cody! Cody, are you okay?!" Armadillomon called as Cody was still down.
"Cody!" Ben called and hurried over to help him. "Cody, can you hear me?! Wake up!" It didn't look good for a moment, but Cody woke up. "Cody, are you hurt?"
"I don't think so." Cody said as he got back up.
"That was crazy." Ben said. "Cody, why did you stay under the water? When the fighting started, why didn't you get on land like I did where it was safe?"
"I had faith that Submarimon would protect me. That's what you do with others you care about." Cody said. "What about MailBirdramon?" All of them took a look and it wasn't good. MailBirdramon couldn't hold on and WaruSeadramon was being dragged into the water.
"MailBirdramon!" Ben called. MailBirdramon needs help, but is there really anything Ben can do? Especially when they are underwater. Seeing this reminded Ben of that awful moment when he got tangled and nearly drowned. Now it's happening to MailBirdramon. Ben can't watch this and just charged right for the water.
"Ben! What are you doing?!" Cody called. Ben wasn't even thinking. He just went straight into the water before the fear could even take hold. He dived right into the water and just kept going, focused on what he saw in front of him: MailBirdramon in serious danger. He doesn't stand a chance in a fight underwater against WaruSeadramon. As MailBirdramon struggled against WaruSeadramon, he spotted Ben heading their way.
'Ben! Did he dive in to save me?!' MailBirdramon thought.
'Oh man. I did not think this through.' Ben thought as he kept trying to make it to WaruSeadramon. 'Still, I've got to help him...even though I don't know what I can do. That's probably how Dad felt. All he thought about was trying to help me, and that's what I want for MailBirdramon. I can't let this fear stop me when there are those who need me.' No matter how much he feared the water, he's facing it for someone he cares about. He wants to be able to do just that, and his wish is granted with his digivice shining.
"MailBirdramon digivolve to..." MailBirdramon was digivolving. He grew much bigger, but his form changed as well. It was like his entire mechanical body was being reconfigured with him maintaining his blue and silver color. He gave a human physique with arms attached, but had talons. His entire body was still coated in metal with metal wings that had jets and a pterodactyl-like head. "MetalRodanmon!"
When he digivolved, he was able to free himself from WaruSeadramon and emerged out of the water with Ben in his hand.
"You digivolved!" Ben said as he couldn't believe it.
Digimon Analyzer: I am MetalRodanmon now. This is my ultimate form. I can be a true terror of the sky for I hold a compartment for a variety of weapons to be used for my Final Barrage.
"How did you digivolve?" Ben questioned.
"It was you, Ben. You faced your fears in an attempt to help me." MetalRodanmon claimed. "You're not just smart, but you are also brave. I doubt there are many like that, or the logical type that would take the risk you just took." He was right. Ben always thought with his head, but he thought with his heart this time, and it allowed him to overcome his fear. Now they can get down to business as WaruSeadramon jumped out of the water again to attack, but MetalRodanmon blocked him with his arm and knocked him back. "Enough of this." Then, a variety of compartments opened up around MetalRodanmon's body.
"Final Barrage!" He fired a series of energy blasts and streams and focused them all around WaruSeadramon. Each attack blasted against him and did some damage. When the attack was done, WaruSeadramon was just floating right on the water and was down now.
"Now to send him back." Ben said as he aimed his digivice right at the water and opened a gateway with WaruSeadramon falling in and going back to the Digital World.
"They did it!" Cody said as he was real impressed with Ben.
"Now for the Server Tower." MetalRodanmon said as he flew right over and smashed his fist against the Server Tower and brought it down. That marks another win and another Server Tower destroyed.

The Beach
"MetalRodanmon?" Haru questioned. Cody and Ben made it back and they told the others what happened and how they had the situation under control.
"I guess that means Swallowmon can now digivolve to ultimate." Mary said.
"That's great, and better since you managed to face your fears, Ben." Taka said.
"You've all done rather well so far. Ben, you should be real proud of conquering your fear like that." Cody said as he can relate to what it's like to conquering a fear over the sea. Ben felt rather proud of himself as well.
"We've got more good news. Izzy and Gennai say that there's only one Server Tower left now." Yolei said.
"Only one left? That's great! Where is it?!" Ben said as that means their mission is almost done.
"I hope you packed a lot of sunscreen. The last Server Tower is Giza, Egypt." Davis said.
