Ahhhhhh...I've actually been enjoying myself. After Kol and I left, our first decision was for us to relax on a nice, calming beach. We originally planned to go to Europe, but we promised Klaus we would stay in the country incase he needed us. We are still linked, so it makes sense.

I would break the link, but it requires too much energy that I don't really have right now. Besides, there is no white oak stake to kill us, so no harm, no foul.

Instead of Europe, we are chilling in a beach in Miami. Sipping margaritas, watching the clear waves, laying on the warm beach, not worrying about a psychotic father hunting us...living the dream.

My brother is out somewhere, with someone probably, while I stayed on the beach to talk to a friend.

"So, you're on a vacation?" Alexander asks over the phone.

"Yep. Traveling with my brother and just enjoying life until something goes wrong for my family again." I say with a smile, sipping my margarita. I put the phone on speaker and place it on this table, next to the beach chair I am lying in.

"If you are traveling, how about you come and visit?" Alexander questions, as I look at the sea.

"Hmm, come visit you in a crowded city where many of the people are rude, just to come visit a vampire-infested club...or stay in a nice, warm beach where I can get free alcohol without having a bloodthirsty vampire try to hit on me or eat me." I state in a sarcastic voice.

"So it's a maybe?" He questions and I just roll my eyes. "Come on, it's not as bad as you think."

"Why don't you just come to Miami? It's so nice out here." I state in a relaxing tone.

"I'm busy here. I can't go on vacation."

"Busy doing what, exactly? Feeding on another girl and partying with other vampires?" I question.

"No. I actually have to run this place. If I leave, things will go to hell. Do you know how many vampires want to be the king of New York City?" Alexander asks me. I don't really want to answer, but the way he asked made it seem like he wanted me to.

"No, but by the tone of your voice, I assume a lot." I say, pretending to care.

"Thousands! And I can't just leave all of a sudden. Not now. It took a lot to secure this position and maintain this status." Alexander explains, and I get confused.

"Are you just going to stay there forever? I mean, I've never met a single vampire who stays in one place." I state, surprised.

"Well, I'm not staying here forever. Just until I make sure my status here is solid, that when I come back, there is not even anyone thinking about taking control." He states in a lower voice.

"Did you just lower your voice to sound more intimidating?" I questioned with a smile.

"No." Alexander replied quickly.

"You most certainly did." I say laughing.

"No, I didn't it just..came it lower but I...shut up!" He says irritated and I laugh.

"Mhm, well ignoring that, you seem like you have enough power already. I mean when I first came to town, everyone was frightened by the name, Alister." I say, taking another sip of my margarita.

"As they should be, but still. You never know if there are people planning your downfall. I don't just need a few people off the streets; I need the whole city frightened."

"Okay, I'm going to need you to tone it down. You're power-driven and remind me of Klaus." I state and I can tell he is not pleased by the comparison.

"Fine, not everyone. But just enough so they know I have the power in the city. And the last thing I want is to be compared to Klaus." Alexander stated being offended. I then grabbed the phone from the table, and took it off the speaker.

"Speaking of my brother, you still haven't told me why you don't like him." I stated.

"What gives you that idea?" Alexander questioned.

"Maybe the fact that every time I mention him, your voice turns irritated. It literally just happened ten seconds ago." I explain.

"Well, as you said, he's very power-driven. Few people like him in general. No offense." Alexander stated.

"Absolutely none taken. I'm fully aware of the amount of people that hate my brother. There is a whole list of people who hate him, and a list that hate my entire family and somehow, Nik's list is longer." I state, making Alexander laugh on the phone. Every time he laughs, it just put a smile on my face.

"So, why are you questioning me for?" Alexander states, going back to his serious voice.

"Because all those people I have listed, hate Niklaus for a personal reason. He killed one of their loved ones, burned down their hometown, hurt them personally, maybe turned them into vampires. Some type of personal vendetta and I want to know what yours is." I state, and silence rings on the phone. I get up from my laid-back position and sit up against the beach chair, wondering what's taking him so long to answer.

"I cannot give you an answer because it won't make sense with your memories." Alexander states and I get even more confused.

"What do you mean?" I questioned curiously.

"I didn't always have a vendetta against your brother. I actually liked him and wanted to be like him. My vendetta started about a hundred years ago." Alexander says, and I turn shocked.

"Wait, hold up. You met my brother a century ago? When I asked about you, he said he didn't remember you." I stated being confused.

"Well, my vendetta against him may have started about 100 years ago, but his started even earlier than that, and I knew deep down he didn't like me years prior to that. I wouldn't know the extent of it, until I confronted him." Alexander states.

"I don't get it, why don't you just tell me what happened? Tell me what my memories are missing." I state, wanting an answer.

"It's just not that easy."

"It's that easy. Just say it." I state, now getting irritated. I start to hear loud noise in the background.

"I especially cannot go into it right now. I need to get to work soon." Alexander says, and I start drinking my margarita in frustration.

"This isn't over, Alex. Nik isn't giving an explanation, and Kol doesn't remember you."

"You told Kol about me?" Alexander states worried.

"Uh, yeah? He's my twin, and I tell him everything. Well, most things, but he doesn't remember much." I state.

"Talk to him. He may not remember much, but at least he remembers something. Maybe that will unlock a memory." Alexander says hopefully, with the music in the background getting louder.

"Or, you can just tell me yourself." I say with a smile on my face, but with an annoyed attitude.

"Sorry Kalle. But I really need to go now." Alexander hurriedly stated. I sighed in frustration. "Look I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Fine. I can see my brother coming back anyways, but we will talk about this next time." I state in a stern voice.

"Sure. Okay, gotta go. Bye." Alexander hangs up, and I put down my phone. To my right, I see Kol walking towards me with a girl wrapped around his arm.

I eye him, as he makes his way closer to my chair. He walks up to me with a smirk, and I see a big smile plaster on the girl's face as well.

"You're not curious who she is?" Kol asks and I squint my eyes at him.

"Well considering your zipper is open, and her shirt is crooked, one of her titties pops out, so not really." I state, and he quickly zips up his pants and the girl straightens up her shirt. I roll my eyes, and I go back to sipping my margarita.

"Eliza, this is my sister Kalle." Kol introduces us, and I give her a fake smile.

"Oh, it's so nice to meet you Kalle! Kol tells me you are a bit harsh and a downer, but don't worry because we will be fast friends and I'll make you into a more cheerful person." She says cheerfully, shaking my free hand, and my eyes widen at her joyfulness.

"Mm, and what are you to Kol, exactly?" I question her, but she goes back to hug him.

"She's my girlfriend, of course. Don't be rude." Kol states with a smirk.

"Of course." I roll my eyes and continue drinking.

"Yep! I'm his little wanker." She states, and I almost choke on my drink. I look at her, trying not to laugh.

"Sweetie, do you know what a...wanker is?" I say, trying to hold back my tears of joy.

"Kol says it's a synonym of 'my love'. Which is totes adorbs." The girl stars, looking lovely at Kol.

"It sure is." Kol says with a smile, giving the girl a kiss on the cheek which makes her blush and me vomit in my mouth.

"Hun, how old are you?" I questioned.

"Sixteen." She states, and I look at Kol, annoyed.

"Kol, come on. You cannot make her your blood bag." I state irritated and she looks at me scared.

"What?" She stated, looking confusedly at me.

"I'm not making her my blood bag, just my entertainment." Kol says with a smirk.

"No, at least find someone who can leave their house without a curfew." I say, annoyed.

"You're just mad that the only boy you talk to is on a screen." Kol states, trying to irritate me, and I give him a dirty look.

"I'm sorry, what's going on?" The girl asked confused and I looked over at her with a sweet smile.

"Hate to break it to you, but you're falling for a vampire. He'll either drain your blood or drag you around like his personal rag doll." I state.

"Okay, you're insane." The girl stated moving away from me and closer to Kol.

"Nice try." Kol mouths at me, and I decide to get creative. I use my magic, and rip open the girl's arm enough that she starts to bleed.

"Ow! What the heck?" She states, looking down at her bleeding arm. Kol's eyes starts to surround themselves with black veins. The girl looks up and notices them, and she is immediately frighten.

"Yeah, I would run." I state, giving her advice, and she immediately runs away from Kol. Once she runs, his veins start to go down and he looks at me.

"You know, I actually wasn't going to use her as a blood bag." Kol states.

"Yes, you were." I called his bluff, and he smiled at me.

"Yeah, I was. But jokes on you, I like the chase." Kol states with a smirk, before his black veins pop up again, and he vampspeeds away.

I go back to relaxing, and I chill for a few minutes before I receive another call. I look at my phone to see that it's Nik calling, so I answer.

"Hello?" I asked, holding the phone to my ear.

"Sister, how is the vacation?" Niklaus asked me.

"It's been nice relaxing in Miami right now." I state, finishing my margarita. "So what do you need?"

"Why do you assume I need something? I can't just call to see how you and Kol are doing? Speaking of, how is Kol?" Niklaus questioned.

"Kol's fine he's feeding on some girl right now. And I'm honestly hoping you don't need much, because you could not have possibly caused any trouble in the last two days." I say hopeful, but know that it is extremely possible.

"Look, I hate cutting your vacation short, but I need you guys to watch over Jeremy." Niklaus stated, and I was taken aback.

"Jeremy? Why?" I asked, confused.

"I'm getting Bonnie to break the link between all of us, and I need to give her the motivation for it." Niklaus explains, as I see Kol heading back to me.

"Why can't Elijah just do it?" I complain, not wanting to leave this beach. Now I see Kol listening in.

"After that whole conversation with mother, Elijah is not willing to hurt any more innocent people." Niklaus states, which calls Kol's attention.

"We get to hurt who know?" Kol questions interested, and I look up to him to see his mouth covered in blood.

"She's alive right?" I question him, as he rubs the blood off his mouth.

"I think so. I gave her blood, after I fed on her. She may have turned into a vampire, but she will still be walking this earth." He shrugs his shoulders.

"Fine. We'll watch over Jeremy." I tell Niklaus as I get up from my chair.

"Really?" Niklaus questioned.

"I'm in too good of a mood to argue and this means I don't need to do the spell." I state not really caring.

"And I get to kill him if something goes wrong." Kol stated happily, and I nodded my head at him.

"Great. He's in Denver and I just need you guys to keep an eye on him, okay." Niklaus states.

"Yeah, we'll be there." I stated. I then said my goodbyes and hung up the phone. "Clean up your face, we're leaving."

After cleaning up, we head back to the car, and I got into the driver's seat.

"Wait, you drove here. It's my turn to drive." He complained to me.

"You driving after feeding, is like a drunk person behind the wheel. Absolutely not." I say in a stern voice. Instead of arguing, he just gives up and gets into the passenger side. "Thank you."

I close the door and start the car. Next destination is Miami airport. Then, on our way to watch over Jeremy Gilbert. I cannot wait until I no longer have any correlation with this family.

But until then, to Denver.
