After a troublesome night of barely getting any sleep, I woke up exhausted. Something has been bothering me since I learned of Finn's death. Why could I feel the pain as he died. Like, I felt as if I was dying with him.
Maybe it has something to do with me being the witch among my siblings. None of us have ever really died before, which is why it's the first time I've felt this.
I look up from the bed, to see Kol hurrying and putting on some new clothes.
"Where are you going?" I question, watching Kol put some shoes on.
"WE, are going to see Jeremy." Kol states, as I get up from the bed. "I think he may have some visitors."
"What makes you say that?" I question, as I slowly walk to the bathroom with some clothes. I lock the door, as Kol continues to talk.
"Niklaus told us they are looking for the person who turned Rose, since that's the furthest they know their line goes." Kol explains to me.
"And who turned Rose?" I questioned, changing my clothes.
"Mary Porter." Kol explains, as I finish changing, and open the bathroom door. "You were quick."
"Kinda have to be when your siblings are vampires and can change in a millisecond." I state walking out of the bathroom and throwing my old clothes in my suitcase. "So, if this Mary Porter woman is the one who turned Rose, why are we going to Jeremy instead of killing this women?"
"Well look who is bloodthirsty now." Kol says with a smirk and I roll my eyes. "And we will, but first, it's time I've repaid Damon for the ball, and helping in having me daggered."
"Kol, come on. We'll deal with that later." I said irritated.
"I was not really asking for your permission. I was just telling you what I am going to do, and you are welcomed to come." Kol says with a smile and I look at him interested.
You know this could go two ways. I can either watch Damon get killed by my brother, or I can watch my brother get his ass kicked again for just jumping in headfirst into situations. Either way, I will enjoy myself.
"Okay, I'll come with you but I want no part of this." I state and he nods.
He then grabs on to me and we vamp speed to this baseball hitting range. We both see Jeremy leaving the batting range, and heading off with Damon and Elena. Hmm, I was hoping Stefan would be here but just Damon works too.
"Do you even know which one of them killed Finn?" I question as I see a smirk form on his face. He looks next to me, where I see a bucket of wooden bats.
"No idea, but I see a bat...and a defenseless vampire in my reach, so if you could excuse me sister." Kol says walking past me but I grab his arm.
"I get you cannot be killed, but how about you stop being reckless for one moment and try to think before running in there. Damon is actually pretty skilled." I state, giving Damon some credit.
"You're saying he could actually get the better of me." Kol states angered.
"With your reckless, inattentive behavior? Yes." I state knowingly, but he still just marches into it. He makes me let go of his grip, and walk over to them. I sigh, as I walk a few feet behind him just to see how this all plays out.
I watch as Kol walks up menacingly, and see as Elena watches in fear as he comes up behind Damon in a surprise, and hits him with the bat.
"What the hell are you doing!" Jeremy screams at Kol.
"Jeremy get back he's an original!" Elena yells.
"What?" Jeremy questions, as Kol walks towards him to grab another bat once the wooden one breaks. I see Elena look at me in shock as well, once she finally sees me. I ignore her and cross my arms, watching this unfold.
"No hard feelings mate, but we're not buds." Kol states, and I look at Damon who is looking at one of the broken off pieces from the bat. I laugh as I know exactly how this will play out and Kol looks at me. "What?"
"Nothing." I say, hiding my smile and he looks at me suspiciously. Once he picks his bat, he pulls it out of the rack.
"You know, I'll never get used to aluminum. But hey, at least it won't break." Kol states with a smile, going back to Damon.
He swings at Damon, but Damon grabs the bat and stabs Kol in the heart with the broken wooden piece. Kol quickly falls to the floor.
"Huh." I say, looking at my fallen brother.
"Is he dead?" Jeremy asks and I look over to him.
"Trust me, if he was dead you would all be as well." I say, making my way to my brother's body and Damon steps in front of Elena. I smile in amusement. "Relax. I'm not going to hurt you guys."
"Why not?" Elena questions and I look behind Damon.
"Did you want me to? Because I easily can." I ask her and she immediately shakes her head. "My brother here does not ever want to listen to me and he is getting what he deserves."
"Mhm, well we should get going then." Damon says, trying to walk past me with Elena, but I stop him.
"Just one more question. Who had the balls to kill my brother?" I ask angered and Damon backs away from Elena again. "Simple question. Answer it, and I don't hurt little Gilbert."
"Matt." Damon says rather quickly, and I'm taken back.
"Matt? As in the human my sister was interested in?" I asked, confused, and Damon smiled.
"Yep, turns out one of the originals was able to be killed by a mere human." Damon states and my face turns shocked.
"You know what, just go before I change my mind." I say moving out of the way and Damon vamp speeds Elena and Jeremy out.
Finn was killed by that little human? I cannot even defend that. I understand he was daggered for a very long time, but Matt? It just won't even feel satisfying if I kill Matt. I barely know the guy it's like...you know what, I got bigger issues than this.
I pull the stake out of Kol's body, and drop it on the ground. I kneel down next to his ear.
"Next time when I tell you to do something, you should probably listen." I state with a smile, before a grab his legs and bring him into some storage closet.
After sitting in a storage closet for about an hour, I look up from my phone to see Kol waking up.
"It's about time." I say, putting away my phone as Kol opens his eyes.
"Where are we? What happened?" Kol asks and I look at him crossing my arms.
"We are in a storage closet and I was right is what happened" I state and Kol face comes to a realization. He then looks at me mad.
"You let them go?" Kol asks angered.
"Yes, and you know why? Because eventually we will see them again when we find this Mary Porter women, who is our main objective!" I say getting up from the crate I was sitting on. "Now do you know where she is?"
Kol calms down to realize the situation. "You know what, I actually may."
I look at Kol surprised, as he leaves the closet, with the bat, and I follow after him.
"Wait!" I say, trying to walk at his paste. We quickly make our way out of the range. "How could you possibly know where she is? She must of turned centuries ago."
"She did. But she also had a soft spot for me." Kol says with a smirk and a throw up in my mouth again.
"So..you know where she might be." I state, clearing my throat. He nods his head at me and we head to our destination.
A couple hours later, we find Mary's house. It's basically in the middle of nowhere. There are no homes in a good five mile radius and it looks like she lives in a haunted house. She really disconnected from the rest of society.
Kol and I make our way into the house. We walk in, without even knocking. As we enter the house, the floors make a creaking sound. It's extremely dark in here and I start to wonder if anyone is even here.
"Mary... It's me, Kol. You remember me now, don't you?" Kol asks and I hear noise coming from upstairs. We decide to spilt up and see if we can find her. Kol makes his way upstairs, while I stay down here.
I walk into the room next to the main room and say 'Incendia' to the first object I see to start a fire and generate some light.
"Come on Mary. We don't have time for games."
I then watch the fire I started go out from a wind. She's here. I look around carefully, but I can't even see anything. I look for a light switch on the wall, when I finally land on something. I feel myself touching a lamp, and turn it on. I turn around, to then see the Mary standing behind me with a sharp pointing stick, which she puts into my stomach.
I ache in pain as she vamp speeds me against the wall, with this stick still in my stomach. My body starts to ache in agony, and I look down to see my stomach bleeding. Damn, I really like this shirt.
"Who are you and what— Kalle?" Mary says recognizing me, but she got blood over this outfit that I actually liked.
"Motus." I state in a calm voice, and she goes flying against the opposite wall. I pull the stick out of me, and but I now have a hole in my stomach.
"Let me go!" She screams, as I keep her stuck against the wall. Kol makes his way down here, and looks to see Mary pinned against the wall, and me bleeding from my stomach.
"You let her do that?" Kol says, biting his wrist and walking towards me.
"I was caught off guard, okay?" I say, as I take his wrist and start drinking. I only need a few sips, as it starts to heel rather quickly.
Kol then turns around to face Mary. "Well well Mary. Long time no see."
"Kol..." She states in a more irritated tone. She doesn't seem pleased to see Kol.
"How have you been? It's been a while since we met, but..."
"Go to hell."
"Ouch." Kol says, putting his hand on his heart. "Words hurt."
"Not to intrude on this reunion, but I thought you said she liked you?" I ask Kol, and he looks at me.
"Yeah, well that died soon after we left." Kol said, and I looked at Mary now.
"You spent one night with me, let me get turned by your brother and then left me to survive on my own!" Mary screams angry and Kol looks back at Mary now.
"Now hold on, alright. I didn't necessarily want to go, but my psycho father was chasing my family and it was time for our departure."
"How the hell did you even find me?"
"I kept tabs on you. I like to see how my previous 'relationships' are doing." Kol says with a smirk.
"You're a perv." Mary says annoyed and Kol blows her a kiss.
"Okay ignoring my brother's stalker tendencies" I recall and he interrupts me "HEY!" But I ignore him.
"Mary we need you to keep your mouth shut about who turned you." I say crossing my arms and her eyes now turn to me.
"Why?"
"Because if you do tell someone..." Kol states looking away to a chair. He thens break the wood off the chair. "I will sadly have to end your life."
Mary face turns feared now. "Wait, what?"
"Look, the gist of it is that if a original vampire dies, the whole line of vampires they turned die with them." I explain and I can see my brother ready to pounce.
"Okay?What does that have to do with me?" She asks confused.
"There is the group of people trying to have my family killed. If they figure out which original turned their line, then they can kill the rest of my family. You are the first of this line and if they find out Klaus turned you, then the rest of my family will die."
She starts to look at me with a smirk. "So, you're saying I'm the one person stopping your family's demise, including Kol's?"
"Don't sound so chipper about it sweetheart. If you cannot give us your word, my brother will happily put that stake through your heart." I say with her same smile and I can see Kol smiling as well.
"Fine. I'll keep your secret." Mary states and I look at her suspiciously.
"Just like that?" I ask
"Just like that."
Kol leans down next to me. "Do your trust her?" He asks I nod my head no.
"You know I can hear you, right?" Mary said.
"Veritas tempus." I state in here direction.
"What the hell did you just do?" She asks angrily and I shrug my shoulders.
"Ask her." I tell Kol.
"Will you keep our it a secret?" Kol asks and I watch as Mary answers.
"Of course I'm not keeping it a secret. It would save humanity if the original siblings were taken off the face of the earth. Yeah Klaus and Kalle would still be alive, but it would rid the world out of at least half of the siblings that made living on the planet a living he—" She is cut off by Kol putting a stake into her heart.
"Man she talks a lot. How did I ever have a thing for her?" Kol questions, turning to face me and I shrug my shoulders.
"Now what?" I ask and he gives me a smirk.
"Well, now we wait for the guests."
We wait for about a half hour in the dark, when we finally hear a car pulling in. Kol is sitting in this chair, ready with the metal bat and I just lean against the wall.
A couple minutes after the car pulls in, we see the door to the room open up, and a flashlight pointing to where Kol killed Mary.
Even though it's dark, I can tell by the figures that it is Damon and Elena.
"Mary." Damon says in a low tone.
"Quite the trary." Kol says turning on the lamp, and Elena and Damon turn to face us. Kol starts to walk over to Mary and I follow.
"Shame about Mary. She used to be a blast. Don't quite know what happened! I feel all the time she spent with my family may have ruined her. She was a bit of an original groupie."
"And were you her favorite?" Elena asks.
"I believe you were her favorite Kol. Well, at least until she was turned." I say tilting my head.
"Yes sister. She did not quite like me as much once I turned her.." Kol trails off and I see the change in Elena's face.
"Oh wait! No, that was Eliza no, I believe Rebekah may have turned Mary." I correct myself.
"Are you sure sister? Niklaus was pretty smitten by her as well. I believe it was him."
"No...Mary was into Nik. Elijah was the one with the affair." I state looking back at Damon and Elena with a smile and I can see the annoyance on their faces. I speak towards them now, "We talked to our brother. We know you are trying to find out who you descended from."
"And now you never will." Kol adds and eyes Damon. "So, where did we leave off?"
Kol then quickly hits Damon with his bat in the knees and Damon falls to the ground. He then hits Damon in his back, head, and arm, causing pain all around his body.
"Elena! Get out of here!" Damon screams and Elena tries to make a run for it but Kol vamp speeds in front of her.
"Sister, like to join the fun?" Kol asks with a smile.
"I'm good. Enjoy yourself brother." I say, leaning against the bed and he then looks at Elena.
"My brother says you are off limits. So don't test me." Kol says in a low voice and throws Elena hard against the bed wall.
Damon then makes his way to my brother and chokes his neck. Says something about not hurting Elena, but Kol head buts him to the ground again.
"Ah. I hurt the nerve." Kol says with a chuckle, making his way to Damon on the floor. "Relax darling. You snapped my neck, killed my brother."
"Don't forget he killed you less than a few hours ago." I pinch in.
"And yes. That humiliation." Kol states, before striking Damon multiple times in a row. "There, now we're even. Come on sister, I believe we have overstayed our welcome."
"Always a pleasure with you two." I say, getting a glare from Elena, and Kol vamp speeds us away. We land at some bar.
"Seriously?" I ask.
"I deserve this." Kol states and I roll my eyes.
I nod my head and take out my phone. "You go in, I have to call Rebekah."
"Okay. But hurry up." Kol states and I nod my head again. He then heads inside the bar while I take the call outside.
I call Rebekah, waiting for her to answer like she always does. When she doesn't answer, I call her cell again. No answer.
I have been talking to her every day to make sure Niklaus has not done something dumb. But also to check on her. She always answers a call or text, but neither tonight.
I then make a call to Niklaus, who answers the phone.
"Hello sister."
"Nik is everything good over here?" I ask.
"Everything is fine. Rebekah and I are waiting for Stefan to find the location of the last stake."
"You're with Rebekah? I call her many times and she didn't answer."
"She's right here if you want to talk to her." Niklaus offers
"Yes please." I state and I can hear him giving the phone to Rebekah.
"Hey Bex. Why didn't you answer you phone?" I question.
"Oh, I think I may have left it at home. My apologies." Rebekah states. I start to get suspicious.
"Oh! Sister, did you and Kol solve our problem?" I hear Niklaus yell over the phone.
"Yes, Kol killed her."
"Excellent. Seems like we almost have everything in place."
I go back to talking to Rebekah. "Rebekah, are you sure you're okay? I don't know, something about you voice seems off and you never leave your phone."
"Trust me, my...sister, I am fine Kallandra." She states, and I automatically stop listening to anything she says after that. Kallandra?
Rebekah hasn't called me by that name since before she turned into a vampire. The only people who still call me that are Nik when he wants to piss me off, Elijah...and my mother.
"Well I have to go now. Brother and I have some business." Rebekah states, quickly hanging up the phone.
I redial the number, trying to get an answer but it automatically goes to voicemail. I keep trying, hoping Nik will answer but nothing.
"Shit." I say angrily. Kol then comes back out of the bar.
"Are you coming in or not?" Kol asks while I turn around with a serious look on my face. "What? What's going on?"
