As you know, Gwen Stacy was like the big sister of this team, given the fact she gave each of the team despite the age. And she gave advice to each of the members and they all learned a lesson from her and now, its Babs' turn for the big sister advice and lesson from Babs. and I did mention that Daredevil is in but i didn't give him an appearance so thats why I decided to add him, this version is more like the counterpart from the Fantastic Four animated series.

It was night time, and Gwen, Kamala, Zee, and Jessica were helping Babs unpacking her things. "Where do you want this lamp?" Jessica asked as she was carrying the lamp with her ring. "Oh, over there." Babs pointed to the location which Jess went to. "Dnoura siht evlover" Zee said in reverse for "Around this evolve" as she cast a spell to place the remaining areas. "Well, what do you think?" Zee asked. "Not bad, right?" Gwen asked. Babs felt a little shocked as she just said, "I…" but then she started yelling and said, "LOVE IT!" Then she hugs them and goes completely crazy. "It's even better than my old room. I'm starting to think Metropolis just might, sort of, possibly be kind of a little bit better than Gotham." Babs said as she started squealing. "That's good to hear." Gwen said. However Kamala was not too amused as she looked around and thought to herself, 'Relly more Batman stuff?!' but she shook her head to snap out and said, "Yeah, now you can settle in." Kamala said.
As the others were checking out Babs's room, Jess noticed another box. "Whoops, looks like we forgot one." Jess said as she then creates a construct hand and brings it over to Babs. When Babs opened it up, she pulled out some batman doll, and seemed to be sad. "Is something wrong?" Jessica asked. "You okay Babs?" Gwen asked. "And why do you have a toy of that Gotham nut?" Kamala asked. "You have a teddy bear dressed like Captain Marvel." Gwen said, which made Kamala blush with embarrassment. "But it looks like you've seen a ghost of the past." Gwen said.
"No. It's just that I'll never forget that beautiful summer's day in Gotham City." Babs said. Then a flashback came in Gotham city which was very beautiful…not. As it turns out Gotham was grimy with crime, and has much more pollution than most cities like Metropolis, and is filled with people screaming, cats meowing, police sirens wailing and helicopters whirring. Meanwhile, the Bat signal was in the sky, and babs who appeared to be younger in this flashback noticed it and gasped.
"This is it, Bat Mite, old buddy, old pal. Tonight we show Batman what we got." Babs told her toy Bat mite then she was putting on her helmet. "Tonight, we cannot be denied. Tonight, we finally joined Team Bat." Babs said with determination. "Batman, this is Commissioner Gordon. We're on our way, but you may have to stop the robbery on your own." Commissioner Gordon said, through the walkie talkie. However, the young Barbara seemed to be on her bike, heading off to see off the crime herself. "Not if I can help it." Babs said, then as she petaled to the crime as fast as she could unstil she stopped and gasped as she saw her idol, Batman, much to her amazement! But then, he grappled away! "Wait, come back! You forgot your new teammate." Babs said, but then Robin, his brand new sidekick, came in. "He's already got a teammate, twerp." Robin said until he noticed Babs' toy. "Oh! What's that? Is that your little dolly?" Robin asked sarcastically. This made Babs feel offended but got mad and said. "Bat Mite's no dolly, he's my sidekick. My back up." she then yells out "He's the bomb!"
"'Da bomb!'" Robin asked which he chuckled and said, "Face it, bat shrimp. Batman don't want no little baby girls crampin' his style. So why don't you just go home and play with you little dolls?" He then starts laughing and grapples away. This made Babs very upset, That's when the commissioner arrived, seeing his heartbroken daughter. "Barbara, what are you doing here?" the commissioner asked. But Babs started tearing up as she turned around to see her dad. "Dad?" Babs asked.
Commissioner Gordon then hugs her and said, "It's okay, honey. Oh, this is all my fault. I never should have agreed to work in such a horrible, crime-ridden place." Hearing this Babs felt like she didn't want to go as she said, "But Dad-" but she was interrupted when the Commissioner said, "Someday, I'm gonna to get you outta here, Barbara. Gotham City is no place for a family." But Babs started tearing up as it clearly shows that Babs didn't want to leave.
The flashback ends with Babs looking down. "Sorry to hear that." Kamala said. 'A sidekick? That gotham nut?' Kamala thought to herself. "And I thought Spidey gives hard times with his villains before joining the Avengers." Gwen said, but she was about to say something until…
Babs started gloating and said, "Tell me about it! He's the worst! How did Robin get to be Batman's sidekick? He's not even on theme. So, after that, I worked and practiced and studied, improving my skills to get Batman to notice me. But then, we moved away before it could. And now…" "Breathe Babs, I know how you feel, you should've seen me when I had to leave New york." Gwen said. "Yeah, or when I left from Jersey to New York, and then here." Kamala said. "But Babs, if you said that you're Dad had chosen to move away, its because he's just looking out for you, try to be all inspiring to you." Gwen said. "Really?" Babs asked. "Yeah, and you know, it was Spider-man who taught me to be like him but in my own way, but it was my mom who taught me to be a hero, just like her." Gwen said. "Wow! What was your mom like?" Babs asked. "She was an inspiring parasmetic, she wanted to help as many people as she could, and she was an amazing woman, smart, kind, brave, and gentle, like anyone could ask." Gwen explained. "She sounds amazing, could we meet her?" Babs asked, which made Kamala bite her lips as she looked nervous. But Gwen decided to tell as she looked sad.
She took a deep breath and said, "Unfortunately, you can't. She died in a terrible car accident when I was 6, I was pretty heart broken for what I did without her." Gwen said which made everyone but Kamala feel sorry. "Gwen I…I didn't know." Zee said. "It's okay, but the point is even if Batman inspired you to be a superhero, you should feel grateful for your Dad to look after you and to inspire you to be a hero." Gwen said. "But now you have us!" Jess said. "Yeah!" Kamala shouted. "And we'll never leave you." Gwen said. "Not only that, a girls night out at Sweet Justice." Zee declared. "I can't, it's also the end of my curfew, I need to get going." Kamala said. "And I need to get into my night patrol before my get home from his date with Ms. Moon tonight." Gwen said.
"Oh, man." Babs said as the duo explained their plans. "What's wrong?" Kamala asked. "you two go without me. Mom's working late, and in this house that means…" Babs said. Turns out, her father was having her watch a TV show for little girls. As the woman was singing the theme on the TV, Mr. Gordon was pretty excited by the music while Babs was too depressed about the show as she was too old for it. "Oops, forgot the popcorn. Can't have daddy-daughter date night without popcorn." Mr Gordon said as he then gets up to make some "No, it's okay, dad." Babs said but then she sighs.
Just then the phone was blaring "O-M-Jeepers, is that the Batphone?" Babs asked as she started squealing. "Dad! Dad, phone! Dad! Dad, phone!" Babs yelled but Mr. Gordon was too focused on making the popcorn. That's when Babs decided to answer it herself, and impersonate her father.
"Commissioner Gordon here. What's shaking, Batman?" Babs asked while pretending to be her father, but she couldn't understand Batman as he was speaking indistinctly. "Uh, could you repeat that, Batman? I'm all old and stuff and my hearing isn't so good." Babs excused while speaking like her father. "Batman says there's a big-time villain headed your way. A Gotham villain, capisce? At the Metropolis Pesticide Plant. You're gonna give us back-up or what?" Robin asked as he spoke for him. "You want butter on your popcorn, Pumpkin Pants?" Mr. Gordon asked. "No thanks!" Babs shouted not knowing that she's still at the line. "What was that?" Robin asked.
Babs clears her throat, then starts to act like her father again as she said, "That was me, I call myself Pumpkin Pants sometimes. Any who, gotta go. See you there." She hung up and went up to her room. "This is it, Bat Mite, old buddy, old pal. Tonight we're gonna show Batman what we got." Babs said. "Tonight we cannot be denied. Tonight we join…" but she was interrupted when Mr. Gordon shouted, "Popcorn time!"
Babs, knowing that she wants to head to that crime, needs to come up with a plan to head there then she gets one. Babs pretended to yawn and said, "Gosh, I'm pooped all of a sudden. I might turn in early." "But what about daddy-daughter date night?" Mr. Gordon asked. "It was a good one. Good night!" Babs said as she then ran to her room to change.
Commissioner Gordon was feeling bad as he said, "But... You love Princess Pumpkin Pants." As Babs was getting ready to take down the villain then she jumped off the window and hopped in her moped. Meanwhile, Ghost-Spider was doing a car chase with robbers that took money out of the bank. Despite how hard it looked, Ghost-Spider managed to catch up with them and managed to spin a huge web from her web shooters to catch the car full of robbers. Then the cops came in to arrest the cops. "Nice work, Ghost-Spider, you did an amazing job." the cop complimented. "I'm just here to help sir." Ghost-Spider said. "Is there anything else?" she asked. "We got a report that someone broke in at the Metropolis Pesticide Plant." a cop said. Ghost-Spider looked at her watch and it looked like she had time. 'Well what's time to spare?' Ghost-Spider said. Then she shot a spider web to head to the plant. But what she didn't know is that a silhouette of a red costume was watching over them.
Soon, Meanwhile, Batgirl had just arrived at the plant, ready to take on the Gotham villain. "Batman's not here yet. Score! He won't believe his eyes when he shows up and we're taken care of." Batgirl told her toy. That's when Ghost-Spider came in as she swung over to the plant. "Geeze, If you have an appointment with Bats, wouldn't pick a place to settle down, you know like a coffee shop or a Pizzeria?" Ghost-Spider asked as a joke. "Gwen? What are you doing here?" Batgirl asked. "Eh, you are the usual, on my night patrol and caught a few robbers or two, until I heard about the report of this plant, so I decided to swing by." Ghost-Spider said in a joke. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "Batman called and said that a Gotham villain is here! So I'm here to stop him or her and maybe I can be on his team!" Batgirl declared. "Still ,Why would you want to impress that Batman guy anyway?" Ghost-Spider asked. "As Kamala would say, he's a nut." she told her. "I know that he may be a nut, but not to my eyes, and if I show him if im a great hero in his eyes, he could accept me as his sidekick." Babs said. "Underneath her mask, Ghost-Spider's face became a concerned look as it clearly shows that Babs only cared about Batman more than her own dad.
"Well, I can't say no to a villain fight, so count me in." Ghost-Spider said as she was trying to play along with Babs determination. 'I wish he could understand.' Ghost-Spider thought Soon, They entered the plant. However, a bunch of mutant vines were growing out of the building."All right, villain. Show yourself!" Batgirl shouted. "If you dare!" Ghost-Spider said. Suddenly they heard some rumbling. "Huh?" batgirl said as she looked back. Then the ceiling started to collapse and vines grew out to attack them, Luckily Ghost-Spider scenes it coming. "Babs loke out!" Ghost-Spider shouted as she pushed away. "Vines? Could it be…" before she could finish more vines came in. "Gwen!" Batgirl shouted as she tossed a batarang at the vine but more were coming.
Soon, Ghost-Spider, and Batgirl entered some lab, and the culprit was sitting on a plant throne, and appeared to be… "Poison Ivy!" Batgirl said. "You again!" Ghost-Spider shouted. "How curious. For a moment there I could have sworn you were Batman." Poison ivy said. "And I thought the Avenger, Spider-Man was here too." she pointed out to Ghost-Spider. "Man, I should add a name tag in my suit." Ghost-Spider said. But Batgirl's eyes sparked and said, "Really?" But it faded away and she said, "Was it the costume specifically, or the ninja skills, or…" but she was interrupted by Ghost-Spider and said, "Focus Batgirl, eyes on the prize!"
Poison Ivy summoned venus flytraps and said, "Put them in the ground, my lovelies." Then the venus fly traps attacked, Ghost-Spider used webbing to gum their jaws and then used her bio energy to roadhouse kick them off, while Batgirl was fighting them off. Wildvine used his arms to whip the plants away, Spyro was clawing and shooting fireballs at the plants, while Batgirl took out a staff to fight them. They then jumped and tried to attack Poison Ivy, but a strange flower sprayed gas at them. They were both coughing as then Ghost-Spider said, "Cheap shot!"
That's when Batgirl noticed the exit. "Gwen, follow my lead!" Batgirl told her. "Got it!" Ghost-Spider said. Then they made a break for it. "Sorry, but we gotta make like a tree and leave." Batgirl said as she mocked poison Ivy. "Hey, jokes are my thing." Ghost-Spider said. That's when they ran as Poison Ivy was hot on their heels on a vine. Soon, they made their way to the lower floor, which appeared to contain vats of chemicals, as Poison Ivy was catching up to them. "Race you to the finish "vine."" Batgirl mocked again. "I was about to say that." Ghost-Spider said. "Seriously?" Poison Ivy. Now they were in a plant nursery, and the plant villainess had caught up to them.
"Leaf me alone!" Batgirl said as she grappled away from her. "Go, go, go, go!" Ghost-Spider shouted as she then shot webbing at Poison ivy.
Batgirl then grappled to a nearby window and took out a flashlight that seemed to have a bat symbol on it, as she pointed it at the sky. "Where are you, Batman? Where are you, Bat signal?" Batgirl asked. "That silly thing only shines in the polluted skies over Gotham." Poison Ivy said as she then knocked the light away. "I tried to save that toxic cesspool, but Gotham is lost. Nothing green will ever grow there again. I can still save Metropolis, though. Return it to the glorious forest it once was. Would you like to know how?" she said as she then summoned plants. "By destroying all the pests!" she shouted.
Soon, Ghost-Spider and Batgirl were being constricted. "Humans are vermin in the garden of life. Locusts, termites, cockroaches! I'll exterminate them all." Poison Ivy declared. "Nothing can stop me. Not even a silly little girl in a costume." She said to Batgirl. "What about me?" Ghost-Spider asked. Poison Ivy controlled the vine to move towards her. "I've always wanted to know who this "protege" of Spider-man really is!" Poison Ivy said. "Let's find out." She grinned as she was about to reach for Ghost-Spider's mask! "No, No, NO! Please, dont!" Ghost-Spider begged her not to do but she kept going. But a miracle happened: a red battle stick came in and hit Poison Ivy in the head!.
She was then about to kiss him on the lips, but then mud was slinged to her on the lips. "Wait that stick." Ghost-Spider said as she quickly noticed. "Could it be?" she then turned her head to the same red silhouette appearing at the window. Batgirl gasped in excitement as she thought it was…"Batman?" But then the red figure came in to reveal not to be batman but a familiar hero, with a devil themed outfit and had two D's at the chest. It was none other than…"DareDevil?" Ghost-Spider asked, which made Batgirl's face into a frown. "Good to see you again, Ghost-Spider." DareDevil greeted. "Feeling's neutral, but what are you doing all away here from Hell's Kitchen?" Ghost-Spider asked. "Well, my old friend Matt Murdock came to Metropolis for an attorney until we heard about a break in at the plant, so that's why I decided to come by." Daredevil said. "That's nice, but could you please help me out of this?" Ghost-Spider asked. DareDevil used his senses to find something he could cut them out, luckily he found a broken vessel which he used to cut both Ghost-Spider and Batgirl out of the vines. "Thanks." Batgirl said. "Any time. You head home now, we'll take care of this." DareDevil said. "No, Batgirl I fight with you, she fights too." Ghost-Spider said. "If that's what you want I respect that," IBut then Poison Ivy got up to see the situation. "DareDevil, I hear you're a blind superhero." Poison Ivy said. "Then you can easily tear apart!" She then used her vines to attack them. Luckily enough DareDevil managed to avoid every attack from the vine. "How can you dodge my lovelies if you are blind?" Poison Ivy said in frustration. "What can I say, I'm always lucky." Daredevil said. Ghost-SPider came from behind her invisibility and tried to attack her with a punch.
However, Poison Ivy wrapped out the girls and even DareDevil with vines she's controlling. "DareDevil, can you…" Ghost-Spider was struggling to escape. "I can't reach…my…weapons." DareDevil said as he was struggling too. "Good." Poison Ivy said. "Now where were we?" Poison Ivy asked. "Oh that's right." she said as she pulled Ghost-Spider towards her. "The identity of Spider-Man's Protege." she said as she was about to reach her again. "Don't," Ghost-Spider pleaded. "Let. Her. Go!" DareDevil said.
But then she noticed Batgirl's Bat Mite doll she dropped and picked it up. "What's this? You brought your dumb little dolly to fight me? You're even sillier than I thought." Poison Ivy said as she started cackling. "Don't ask." Ghost-Spider asked. "Don't bother," DareDevil said as clearly he couldn't see what was going on but he could hear. "Leave her alone, dude. She may have a few hiccups, but she's brave in her own way!" Ghost-Spider said as she tried to stand up for Batgirl.
"Doesn't matter now, I'll who you really are, soon enough!" Poison Ivy said as she reached for Ghost-Spider's mask to remove it. That's when Bargirl grew a determined look on her face. "He's not a dolly." Ghost-Spider said with determination. She then cut herself, Ghost-Spider and DareDevil free from the vines with her Batarang, and took back Bat Mite. "He's the bomb!" Batgirl shouted. That's when she pulled the string, as its eyes glowed red, revealing it to literally be a bomb!
"Wait, there's an actual bomb in that thing?!" Ghost-Spider asked. "Impressive, I should try that with my weapons." DareDevil said. As she tosses into a vat of pesticide chemicals, ready to explode, Ghost-Spider and DareDevil then run off to safety. "NO!" Poison Ivy yelled as her vines were getting destroyed. As the seven got out of the building, the bomb went off, and a form of pesticide gas came out from the plant, causing all the vines to wilt and die out while Ghost-Spider and DareDevil managed to escape but started coughing them out. "Are you okay?" DareDevil asked. "I'm fine. But Batgirl, she's still trapped!" Ghost-Spider said. "Don't worry I'll go after her." DareDevil declared. "Wait." Ghost-Spider stopped DareDevil. "The gas may be poisonous." Ghost-Spider said. "I've always come prepared." DareDevil said as he grabbed a gas mask from his belt and put it on to prevent him from breathing in the gas and wents in.
Poison Ivy was coughing until she saw the plants. "My darlings, what has she done to you?" Poison Ivy said while tearing up. Thats When Batgirl and DareDevil came in. "Not bad for a silly little girl and her dumb little dolly." Batgirl mocked, which then Poison Ivy was knocked down.
Meanwhile the three were meeting outside while the Building was still in gas while Dragging Poison Ivy. "Batgirl! Next time, warn me when you put a bomb in your toy." Ghost-Spider said. "Fine, I will." Batgirl said, until Ghost-Spider noticed the unconscious Poison Ivy. "Will she be okay?" Ghost-Spider said. "Oh, sure!" Batgirl said. "Anyway, Batgirl, I'd like to meet a friend of the Fantastic 4, DareDevil." Ghost-Spider introduced. "It's a long story on how we met." she explained. "Pleasure to meet you Batgirl." Daredevil said. Batgirl felt confused by the visor that DareDevil was wearing as she started to wave her hand right at DareDevil's face. "Yes, I am blind." DareDevil said, which made Batgirl step back. "That doesn't mean I like it when you wave your hand at my face." Daredevil said. "Hey, I just want to say thanks for saving us back there." Ghost-Spider said. "No problem, a friend of the Fantastic 4 is a friend to me and my good friend Matt Murdock." he said that given the fact that Matt Murdock and DareDevil are actually the same, but neither of them know that.
Suddenly a car pulled up, making Ghost-Spider and Batgirl think it was… "Batman!" Batgirl said with excitement. "Interesting, two night crime fighters in one city, how ironic." DareDevil said. Batgirl then posed triumphantly, waiting to meet her idol, but it turns out...
"Dad?" Batgirl said in shock. "Or maybe not." Daredevil said. "Mr. Gordon?" Ghost-Spider asked in surprisement. But knowing that would expose her Identity she went into her deep voice and said. "Uh, I mean... Hi, Commissioner Gordon. What's shakin'?" "Batgirl? Ghost-Spider? DareDevil? What are you three doing here?" Mr. Gordon asked. "Oh, you know, just nippin' some crime in the bud." Batgirl said. "Doing what heroes do!" Ghost-Spider said. "a part of the job." DareDevil said.
The plant villainess was then put into the Commissioner's car, but then he got a phone call. "Hello, Batman…No, don't worry. Everything's been taken care of…" Mr. Gordon told batman. "By Batgirl, Ghost-Spider, and DareDevil." Batgirl Interrupted. "Yes, that's right. Ivy's in custody." Mr. Gordon said. "Thanks to Batgirl, Ghost-Spider and DareDevil." Batgirl said. "So you don't need to come." Mr. Gordon said. "to see Batgirl…" Batgirl said before getting her face webbed up. "Alright we get it, already." Ghost-Spider said with her irritation. "I am so sorry it's just she wants to impress her idol, that's all." Ghost-Spider explained. "Been there before." DareDevil said. "Uh, all right then, I'm going home. Thanks for the help, Batgirl, and Ghost-Spider. You too DareDevil." Mr. Gordon said.
Batgirl managed to remove the webbing and said, "Ah, you're welcome, dad… "Uh, I mean, dad of some lucky kid. If you have a kid, of course. 'Cause I would never know such information." she said as she covered her identity. "I wonder why you're not Batman's sidekick. I always thought you were way more capable than that Robin twerp. He's not even on theme." Mr. Gordon said. Batgirl realized that he sounded just like her after settling in as this made Batgirl feel in awe. "Took the words from my mouth, Commissioner." Ghost-Spider said. But then, the four noticed vines growing out of the door, meaning Poison Ivy had escaped. "Oh Crud!" Ghost-Spider said. "Do me a favor. Don't mention this to Batman." Mr. Gordon told the heroes. "No prob. Let's pretend like nothing happened." DareDevil said.
Soon, Babs was back home, watching TV with her father. "Everything okay, Pumpkin Pants?" Mr. Gordon asked. "Yeah, dad. Just loving daddy-daughter date night." Babs said. Mr. Gordon puts his arm around her and said, "Me, too." Babs just smiles sweetly at him while munching popcorn.
Then, there was a knock at the door! "Huh? I'll get it!" Babs said as she went to the door. "Who is it?" Babs asked as she answered it to see someone familiar. "Sup Babs." Gwen said as it appears to be herself and her father at the door. "Gwen! And you must be Mr. Stacey." Batgirl said. "Pleasure to meet you Babs. I heard your father is a retired commissioner." George said. "Looks like we've got something in common." he said. "I told him that you have a special Daddy-Daughter time together and I thought we could join you." Gwen said. "Well, come on in. I don't mind." Babs said, as both came entered Babs' house. "Mr. Gordon, I'd like you to meet my Dad." Gwen said. "George Stacey, nice to meet you." George gave a handshake to Mr. Gordon. "Well the feeling neutral." Mr. Gordon said as he accepted the handshake.
Gwen saw the TV. "What are you watching?" Gwen asked. "Just Pumpkin Pants, Babs favorite show." Mr. Gordon said. "Pumpkin Pants?" George asked. "Just something my dad calls me." Babs explained. I'll make some more popcorn." Mr. Gordon said, as he went to the kitchen. "Let me help." George said as he entered the kitchen. "Thanks, dad!" the girls said in unison. Then they both sat down together. "Hey you got your toy fixed." Gwen said as she noticed Bat-Mite was back in one piece. "You were right Gwen, Batman inspired me to become a superhero, but it was my dad who taught me to be a hero." Babs said. "See what I'd tell you." Gwen said. "Well it's just I wouldn't have my little bat mite if it wasn't for both Batman and my dad." Babs said. "If they wouldn't stop teasing me for it." she said. Gwen smiled and then reached for her pocket and said, "You're not the only one." as she pulled out a spider-man plush! "What?" Babs said in shock. "What could I say, I was a big fan of Spider-man when I was very little. And you're not the only one who has two heroes." Gwen said as they both laughed. "Incoming popcorn!" Mr. Gordon said as he and George came in. "Thanks dad." Babs said. Once again, they were watching it. While Babs and Mr. Gordon was singing, Gwen and George looked at each other in confusion but they continued on to watch TV with them.
A little announcement, there will be one more stand alone chapter
