Ch-5 A fight with the true darkness.
I had this chapter for years. I decided to post, since I received a recent story follower. You inspired me to dream again. I hope you all enjoy this chapter.

'Sasuke…..' the yellow haired leaf ninja walks amongst his friends looking straight ahead with a lost look.
"We both came this far. Only to be set back again. I wonder if you know I'm here too." Treading with a deep feeling of worry. Naruto walked right into a pole. "Ouch"
Naruto held his pain to try and keep down the throbbing pain he felt from running into a pole.
"What is on your mind?" Natsu asked in an embarrassed tone. He didn't want anyone to see how he cared for naruto. Even though he gets in his way a lot.
"It is nothing." Naruto tried to hide his deep thoughts about his childhood friend.
Natsu got mad and grabbed Naruto, pulling him closer. "Listen here starboy. Don't go making that face in front of your friends when there is obviously something wrong. Spill it. Or I'll pull it out of you." he smashed his head against Naruto's forehead and didn't budge to move it. Glaring at him with angry eyes.
Naruto looked back with a blank face as he thought to himself 'Friends...I left my friends behind. I couldn't help any of my friends when they needed me the most. That is worse than scum'
"Natsu everyone at the guild is special to you right?" Naruto asked Natsu.
"Yeah what of it?" Natsu slowly realized his grip on naruto. Stars appeared in Natsu's eyes as he talked about all the special friends he cherished. "Not only in the guild. I have a lot more friends too. That I appreciate and help me grow to be the person I am today."
Naruto turned around and walked off in a slow manner depressed as ever. "I see,... that is important, protect your friends until the very end."
"You sound like shit Naruto." Natsu walked ahead of Naruto in a cool manner. "Don't even try protecting anything if you quit so easily. I wonder how you obtained all that power in the first place."
Lucy watched as Naruto and Natsu bonded. She smiled with great joy. "You both are alike more than you know. I think you both make a great team."
Natsu got embarrassed and ran on "Happy! First one to the guild buys dinner."
"Aye!...I want fish" Happy went super speed, and started to fly to the guild.
Both Natsu and Happy disappeared before Naruto and Lucy noticed.
"Lucy sorry for that depressing mood. I am not usually like that, I swear. I failed my first S-class mission. It sucks and I am a long way from home."
The leaf ninja looked at Lucy and then smiled. "I promise I'll be more cheerful from now on."
Naruto gave Lucy his signature thumbs up. "Lucy I'm sorry but I have no money. So how about we beat Natsu and Happy so they can buy us dinner?" Naruto snatched Lucy before she could answer and they both disappeared.
"Naruto, how'd you do that so fast?" Lucy's hair was sticking up and she was so shocked.
"Oh that is a trick I learned from dad. On my 2nd day here I got lost in town so I decided to mark the guild so I can appear here at the guild any time If I got lost again." Naruto smiled really hard. As he explained to Lucy feeling like his regular self.
Right after Naruto and Lucy arrived Natsu and Happy were heading full speed towards the guild. Both with red eyes glaring towards the guild. "Crash" The mage and the cat crashed into the guild. Unexpectedly they both saw naruto and were shocked
Natsu cried and banged on the floor. "We even got a head start. How'd he beat us here."
"Teehee Heee...Natsu..." The blue cat rubbed his hand together.
"What….. happy not now. Can't you see I'm sobbing over here?" Natsu looked up at Happy, not too long after he began to sob and roll over the floor.
Natsu sobbed and he complained "He used his funny looking magic that he claims he can't control"
"I won, I want 1 Million fish. I want some to be fried and some to be steamed, and some grilled fish too." Happy poked out his chest with an accomplished look.
The pink haired dragon boy Natsu rose up with a fiery look in his eye. "Happy I won..Now I want lots of meat and lobster too."
The blue cat and the dragon slayer began to argue. Not too long after they looked at Lucy and Naruto and asked simultaneously "WHO WON!?"
"We did." Lucy said as she held out her hand for her prize money.
Both of them laughed, rolling over the floor making fun of the mage and shinobi. "Seriously guys who won?" Natsu asked again.
Naruto walked up pushing up against Natsu "We won. We made it to the guild first. So you and Happy owe us dinner."
Natsu pushed back up onto Naruto. "I didn't know you guys were in the game."
Lucy pushed Natsu "Well don't you think it is quite rude not to include us?" Lucy head got bigger as she screamed at Natsu with veins popping out of the corner of her forehead
"Ehhh Lucy don't kill him" Naruto whispered in fear from Lucy rage.
"SHUT UP" A girl with shining armor and red hair walked out the guild. "She punched everyone in their head." The red hair mage grabbed everyone dragging them inside of the guild.
"It is almost dinner time and you guys ruined the surprise."
"Surprise" everyone popped out but was about to go back in when they saw Erza devil face.
"Naruto, we wanted to give you a dinner party for your first mission. Even though you failed it." She smiled at Naruto. Mirajane is sweet as always comforting Naruto. Helping him up from being dragged in the guild.
Naruto's face became really red. "Ta ta ta ta ta thank you Mirajane." Naruto was helped up. The leaf ninja brushed off himself and threw his hand to the side "Okay… LET'S EAT!"
"Not so freaking loud. How are you hungry when you didn't come back from a successful mission." gray provoked Naruto. "I mean that was quite a losing team. Naruto and Natsu sound lame. If only you had me on your team."
"What was that you damn stripper?" With a piece of meat in his hand Natsu started to fight gray. Causing a whole ruckus in the guild hall.
Lisanna approached Naruto. "Warm isn't it?" her smile on her face lit naruto up. He hasn't felt that in a while. A person who understood him exactly, it reminded him of Hinata from his world.
"Yeah." Naruto replied
"I was separated from my friends and family once." she looked at naruto as he stared back at her. "I was in another world identical to this around people who looked and acted almost the same as my friends and family here." she smiled again and walked away from Naruto but before she left "It was a warm feeling but not the same as the one I have now."
Naruto watched as Lisanna walked away to talk to the other guildmates. "Ahhh, I knew it. It is definitely possible to get back home."
The young ninja reached in his back pocket. As he reaches he remembers all his battles with enemies, friends, and himself. "Sasuke, you sure are a stubborn guy. I guess that makes us so much alike."
Naruto pulls out a headband from his back pocket with a leaf symbol in the center of it. A long line crossed that leaf symbol. The Leaf ninja held the head band up and closed his eyes "I never give up and I never go back on my word. That is my ninja…. My ninja way. Sasuke, I won't let you be alone in the darkness." He yelled to himself quietly. Soon right after, he had a big smile and jumped up. "Now I really feel awesome."
Watching Naruto and listening in from the corner. Gildarts smiled, even though Naruto failed his mission, Gildarts successfully accomplished his. "Damn that cheeky old man. If he had just listened to me. I could have been drinking booze and finding a hot babe right about now."
A short old man walked up to gildarts. "Let's talk in the office. Tell Naruto to come in ten minutes from now."
"Okay." Gildarts shrugged at the old man's orders.

Master Makarov Office

"So tell me about your mission Naruto" Master Makarov asked
"Well the Guild you wanted me to investigate, disappeared. Also The Top 6 members of that nameless Guild were all dead leaving one extremely injured. The top 1 Abel" Naruto explained this to master Makarov.
Gilderts looked at Naruto confused. Naruto flinched from the eye contact looking nervously at the ceiling.
"Also the council have shown up and arrested Abel. I couldn't question him. He seemed so scared and needed protection from whoever took them out."
Naruto got focused, he had a serious look on his face towards the Guild Master. "Although I couldn't find the mage who did this."
"Naruto, you are finally thinking. I'm pretty sure that was Sasuke. I sensed his Chakra as well." Kurama Speaks "you shouldn't reveal too much of yourself."
The 9 tailed fox sat in with his legs crossed and arm crossed, finger tapping his arm as he thought things through " We don't know limits and the kind of world this is."
Naruto looks with his head down staring at his reflection "I know" he mumbles "This all doesn't feel right. They are my friends and I think they are good people."
"Naruto… Naruto" Gilderts is waving his hand side to side bent over face to face with the leaf ninja.
"Hey, watch it!" Naruto jumps up and back away from Gildarts.
"Cool it, you zoned out there for a minute and went all silver bluish on me." Gildarts rose up and crossed his arms staring strangely at naruto.
"I did?" Naruto looked at his hands, he could feel a faint power leaving his body.
"Yeah, and your magic aura started to rise." Gildarts walked closer to Naruto in suspicion
As he got closer, stuck his face in a little and asked "Are you Okay?"
Naruto pushed him a little off of him "Move. Of course I am okay." He then rushed out the room.
Gildarts was about to follow after him. But the guild master stopped him. "Let him go."
He then remembered the time that Naruto saved them on the Island. Turned his back on Gildarts. He proceeded to tell Gildarts of his thoughts. "It was like being on the island… I don't think he can control it."
"I understand you have to protect the guild. But I see Naruto as a part of this guild. He is not END. I know you know that as well." The S-Class mage spoke those few words as he exited.

SASUKE 3 Year Time Skip

"Naruto…. Are you really here?" Sasuke thinks to himself "Are there others like us? Or am I… am I.. did we fail?" Sasuke slashed the air with his Katana.
The Katana was 20x bigger than its normal size. Reflecting the amount of rage sasuke had. "I don't believe Madara or Kaguya got the best of us… Naruto"
The rogue ninja continued to slash the air, as he fell back. He noticed his katana was never in his hand. But he still made slashes and still saw and felt a physical katana.
"Is this Magic? Can I use it?" Sasuke smirked. Then proceed to calm down.
He observed his surroundings and noticed he had cut a ton of trees down. Hiding behind one of those trees he noticed a Crime Sorciere member.
"Come out or I'll Kill you" the rogue ninja uses his rinnegan to drag the mage forward. "Why are you following me?" He said as the mage choked midair with an invisible force of magic.
The hoodie and hair kept the mage face hidden. As the mage struggled, Sasuke noticed the mage was defeated and had stopped his attack.
Two purple auras surrounded the Crime Sorciere mage. The rogue appeared to be the only one who could see it. "This is what magic looks like…? Hmm"...
Although the rogue ninja could see the magic. He couldn't produce the magic inside of him. His Rinnegan and Sharigan both saw two different forms of magic. As if his eyes saw completely different parts of it. Sasuke couldn't figure it out. But he could somehow control it. And that it was somehow linked to his emotions.
The young mage removed her hoodie and fixed her hair. When Sasuke saw her, he stepped away. It was the woman who nursed him to health at Crime Sorciere, Ultear. She yelled at Sasuke and hit him. "I thought you would be more thankful to us."
Sasuke took a step back. His mind then flashbacks to the times he spent with them. In his first attempt to leave after battling the Top 6 He completely collapsed when he tried to fight Jellal. His body was left in shock and he was a vegetable for 6 weeks.
Crime Sorciere healed his complex sickness. And nursed him back to normal. As a result, all of his chakra disappeared. Sasuke became powerless. With no money, no connections, and no strength.
He didn't leave them, instead he thanked them and asked to be a student. It was the wisest choice for him. At first Jellal was hesitant to take Sasuke on as a student, since he wouldn't be a threat anymore. But Ultear gave him a chance to join. And eventually Jellal saw it as an opportunity to overturn Sasuke.
Even though Sasuke was clearly stubborn and honest of his ways. Much of his relationship with his peers was cold and warming at times.
He thought of the times Ultear risked her life to save him. When he clearly left her for dead. He thought of Jellal training with him physically and helping him open up his meridians and some parts of his heart secretly. Sasuke remembered it all. They grew on him, but then before he could finally use magic since he lost his chakra and needed to trust them. He needed to open his last meridian to gain either magic or chakra so he thought. And when he did. Sasuke lost his memory of everything. He was like a baby again.
None of the Guild members knew what happened. They didn't understand. So they took turns with him, helped him adapt and learn. This went on for a year. Finally they found a doctor who was an expert in innate energy.
Sasuke was sitting like a preschooler playing with Invisible toys . He looked up at the doctor, and the doctor jumped in fear. He pointed and screamed " His eyes are constantly changing!".
Ultear hugged and protected sasuke. She soothed sasuke. And then glared at the doctor "Be grateful you stand in the presence of rarity"
Sasuke then looked at Ultear and held her tightly. Fondling his head in her breast and body like a 3 year Old boy. And Ultear embraced him.
"This is an effect of opening your meridians. The body and the mind needs to reset and start over. This will only last two years" Doctor Kizi said.
He reassured Ultear, Jellal, and Meredy. That he will mature faster in time, and his memories will gradually come back in different forms.
The group didn't look so happy to hear that at first. Because they wanted sasuke to be happy and free. But they all knew they could at least trust him and allow him to be.
As time flew, each month sasuke progressed in maturity/age. After another Year he was a mature adult. No one knew his age really. But He was back to his normal self. But Still no memory.
During that time, Sasuke and Ultear fell in love. His life mission was to protect her. Until he remembered. At first it started with nightmares, and he sobbed for the boy in his dreams for another year. Ultear could only console him and help him see the light.
And then he realized he was that boy during a fight in the 2nd year. He risked his life for Ultear and it nearly killed him.
Fast forward, we are back to sasuke finding Ultear following him.
"I am only here on Orders" Ultear stood up. "This has nothing to do with Us"
The rogue ninja unsheathes his katana physically, aims it her. And tells Ultear to stay away. "You are not my destiny. I will kill you if you get in my way."
Ultear thinks to herself "I am only doing this for our sons. I am pregnant."
Before saying a word, she hesitated. "Maybe if I tell him…" as she stepped forward with hesitation. "I'm…..
Sasuke sheaths his sword. Turns his back to her. And he walks away.. He doesn't say a word.
Ultear continues to follow him, with her head tilted down mumbling and watching Sasuke back. Much like how Hinata followed Naruto. She follows for a little bit mumbling under her breath "I'm… I'm…
Sasuke's sword is fully sheathed. He Stopped for a little bit, Ultear walked into his back accidently.
He walks off, and when she takes her first foot to follow. "I'm….."
She was impaled by an invisible force and blood has splattered everywhere, she is then brought up to the sky and dropped.
Sasuke continues to walk away. As if nothing happened.
"Everything in this world is nothing compared to my world" he looked really sad. "None of it is real anyway." he continued to walk away with his back turned.
Ultear watched him walk, as she bled to death.

Naruto 3 Year Time Skip

Romeo Is sparring Naruto. Romeo is pretty good. He is attempting to take the bell from Naruto. He is coming close but can't get it just yet.
A red flame sticks to Naruto and it drags Romeo in. Romeo Is coming in fast with flame feet aiming at Naruto.
He then double kicks him in the chest. Naruto Flies back very far. But Romeo Sticks a purple flame to Naruto that keeps Romeo reeled onto naruto. Flying Ice Shuriken fire starts to fly at Naruto. Finally his fall is broken by a strong thick tree.
Romeo Shurikens is still goin at Naruto. One slips and sneakily cuts away the bell at Naruto Hip. When Romeo notices that, he launches another red flame that sticks to Naruto reeling his student into him.
With it comes Romeo's biggest attack. His Rasen Bomb. It's explosive force and his ability to choose when it blows up.
He Closes in on Naruto, right before the shrunkins are finished. And hit him with. Forcing his master back into the tree breaking it in half.
Romeo smiles to pick up the bell. And then snap his fingers. "Boom"
A big explosion happens from far away where Romeo master landed.
"Clap… Clap… Clap…" A man with silver hair, with two different color strands coming from his hair. One Strand of hair was blue and the other was yellow.
"That was pretty damn good. You defeated…"
Romeo had his back turn gloating with pride. Holding his head and bell up high. "Yeah my master wasn't all that. I basically taught him, you know"
Romeo laughed and cackled "It took me three years to train him. I call him my master because It was a drunken promise…" He turned around with his face gleed and his eyes squeezed due to his overbearing smile. "He was really my unequal rival.. ha .. Ha .. ha".
"Oh really, so you're the master?" The man said..
As Romeo relaxed his eyes a bit, he saw his master and his fist aim straight at his face. And the bell he thought he had poof into thin air.
"Don't dodge!.. Come Here you big bratt!" Naruto chases Romeo as he tries to get away desperately and clumsily.
5 Minutes later Naruto is forcing Romeo to buy him a meal. He sits him at a shop and he pushes romeo head down in a cheerful domineering manner. "Since we are two rivals, I guess you can afford this meal."
"Yes yes, Since you are a broke adult who moved from possibly the best woman in eternity home and can barely take care of himself" Romeo Gleed said "I will happily pay."
Naruto punched him on the head. "Oops, my hand slipped."
"Ouch… no it didn't you goofball." Romeo rubbed his head in frustration.
The Waitress brought their food to them. "I hoped to see you guys today. I prepared your regular order again."
Naruto and Romeo's eyes were filled with stars. They both had drools falling from their mouths. "Ramen!" they shouted
The waitress laughed. "You know, I don't know how we did it with your version of ramen. But thank you to Mirajane. She really knew how to translate your taste to something good."
"Unfortunately you won't see any of that anymore." Romeo blabbered as he cleaned his mouth clean with his t-shirt wrist.
Naruto had sunk as if something had landed on his head. He looked super depressed and sunk into his food while eating.
"Man was she great… when my goofy master lived with her until LAST WEEK. I could get regular practice time with Master Uzimaki. But now I have to wake him up sometimes." Romeo puffs, and turns his head sideways.
He then looks down in curiosity and doubt. "It's almost like my Master has two lives or Never sleeps. He is really busy and has no time for me."
Both Naruto and Romeo slouches and flashbacks.

Naruto Pre-Time Skip

Gildarts Follow Naruto and Punches him. Naruto goes flying into the guild bar section.
The young ninja get's up. "Ow… What do you do that for."
Gildarts Respond "Why? Well because you're a threat and I'm gonna kill you."
When Gildarts said that, the whole guild rushed to stop him. "I Do Not Trust HIm! It is my Duty to protect this GUILD"
Except Gray and other guild members who believed in Gildarts encircled Gildarts and Naruto with a barrier.
The guild master came out and tried to talk sense into Gildarts. But no one could get in the barrier.
Gildarts started to pummel Naruto. He Dragged Naruto throughout the bar. Punching him until you can barely see his skin. His face was filled with blood and bruises. His clothes were tattered and you can clearly indicate where he has been hit.
"You're still being a tough guy I see?" Gildarts lifted him up and through him across the wall. He broke through the guild wall and the barrier. Gilderts approached his head and smashed it into the floor.
"Still won't give up?... Huh!" he yelled.
As he was smashing Naruto. Countless Guild members tried to stop Gildarts. He thwarted them. And the few who understood gildarts thwarted the ones who wanted to help Naruto.
Mirajane yelled "Enough!"
He stopped and held naruto in a grip
Gildarts yelled to Naruto in frustration " If you don't have the resolve to kill us, with the strength you have!. You might as well!….." His tone became empathetic and soft "You might as well stop being a self centered punk."
Gildarts let Naruto go. And walked off. Mirajane then ran up to him the ninja far from home
As Gildarts walked off, he looked back at Naruto from the side "I hope that shows you."
Mirajane started to care for Naruto's well-being. She healed him back up. And the leaf ninja started to think about the fight during his healing.
He felt that fight was a show for the Fairy Tail Guild members.
And also to show Naruto he doesn't need to lie to the guild master and not trust in them. They all stood up to protect him. And fought for him.
Gildarts never exposed his secret, but proved his innocence in front of anyone who may distrust him.
He knowingly beat Naruto close to death even though Naruto is above him in power.
And Naruto never lifted a finger. Why because he knew deep down Gildarts wouldn't kill him.

Naruto Time Skip - Eating With Romeo

"I was Just thinking of the past," Naruto and Romeo said simultaneously.
The waitress chuckled "a student is like his master" she patted them both on the shoulders.
"I hope to see you here again tomorrow… You both are becoming my favorite regulars" She walked away from the pair.
"What ya think?" Naruto asked.
"I was thinking of when you first joined the guild as an official member." Romeo replied.
Naruto got excited "I was thinking of the same thing!"..
