Ellessia sat on the roof of Saburos van reading a strange looking book. "Ne Saburo. You okay with her up there? What if she scratches the roof with her sword or boots?" Erika asked. Saburo didn't seem to even hear her, and was staring at the dark elf dreamily. Kadota sighed, knowing Saburo had fallen head over heels in love with their new, friend. "What was that thing with the arm. You mentioned it is called Dead wolf?" Ellessia suddenly spoke up. "Err no. Deadwolv. Wolv. He is, well. No one is sure exactly what he is. But he is a serial killer. Real dangerous. He, killed a friend of ours not too long ago. Literally tore the kid to pieces." Saburo explained. "I see. Anyone strong enough to tear off a Xiavil arm and live, is not human. Though. If he is a murderer like you said why did he not even try to attack us?" She asked looking at Saburo.
"It's complicated. He apparently only kills certain people. And to our knowledge he has never killed a woman. So you and Erika being with us may also add to why he didn't try anything." Kadota answered. Ellessia raised an eyebrow. "Weird. I was taught to not spare someone just because of their gender. If she can wield a weapon, strike her down as if she were any other man." Ellessia shrugged continuing to read. "Chikage would lose his mind meeting you. He ain't used to women getting in such situations. And if a man ever tried to 'strike down' a woman in front of him. He would probably kill the guy." Yumasaki spoke up. Erika nodded in agreement. "Considering he tried to kill Deadwolv for hitting me that one time. Yeah. He would lose it if he saw a man kill a woman." She said smiling. Remembering the odd fight between the killer and the ladies man.
"Even with the strong blond. We need more allies. If more gates open. We need a small army to prevent the city from being destroyed. Do you guys know anyone capable of fighting?" Ellessia asked, jumping off the roof of the van. "Well. Chikage is good in a fight. And can take allot of damage before going down. We may know some members of the Dollars as well. But unsure how many would want to fight literal demons. There is also Celty. She is the headless lady who lives with that crazed doctor." Kadota leaned against the van thinking. "We mention a pretty lady is in danger Chikage will agree with little questions asked." Yumasaki laughed. Though oddly, Saburo looked worried about the idea.
He was already worried enough how Ellessia kept looking at Shizuo. But, no way she would ever give Saburo a second glance if Chikage gets involved. That guy was a smooth talker, handsome, and strong. No way Ellessia wouldn't fall for him. And surely Chikage would also fall for someone like her. "Fine, we can ask him. And maybe post something in the Dollars chat about a meeting." Kadota agreed. Saburo cursed internally , but nodded along knowing they needed help. "I'll call him. He gave me his number." Erika said cheerfully pulling out her phone. "Wait, why!?" Yumasaki suddenly looked worried as well. It had already been clear to Kadota the otaku had a crush on Erika. So, seeing how worried Yumasaki looked, he figured hearing Erika had Chikage's number made Yumasaki a little jealous.
Erika dialed the playboys number and waited for him to answer. "Yo, Rochi~!" She said playfully using the nickname his harem often used. "Hey Erika, surprised to hear from you. What do you need?" He asked. As he did so she could hear the giggling of some girls and knew he was on one of his famous group dates. "Err well. Have you heard the rumors about the demons in the city?" She asked. Chikage paused for a moment then spoke up. "Yeah. Some of my gang has been worried it may be the beginning of the apocalypse or something like that." He responded. "Well. They ain't fully wrong to be honest. Anyways. We actually know a lady. Who can help deal with the demons. But we need extra help. Maybe we can meet up and discuss it some time? She's a real pretty one too." Erika said, hoping by adding the pretty part Chikage would agree. "Well, am busy right now. Sorry Erika. But, I can come over to Ikebukuro this weekend if it can wait...?" He asked, glancing at one of the girls with him. Her piercing blue eyes made contact with his. "Sure. We need to gather some more info anyways. But deal. We can meet at Russia Sushi when you come." Erika put her phone away after arranging the meeting.
"Alright. He said we can meet on Saturday around lunchtime." Erika said smiling. "Good. Speaking of lunch. Lets eat! Dota-chin is buying." Yumasaki smirked. "Oi,! I never agreed to that!" Kadota sighed, knowing it was pointless to argue with them. The group went to a cafe with Ellessia in her human disguise. They ordered some food and went to eat it in the outdoor seating area. "This food is odd..but yummy." Ellessia stated eating some savory dango. "Yeah, it is real good. Dango is great. Both savory and sweet variety." Saburo agreed eating his as well.
As they were eating Erika felt something tug at her pants leg. Looking down she nearly dropped her dango. Staring up at her was a small half human half spider child. Erika was speechless, as the child stared at her. The others not noticing its presence yet. The child smiled brightly and pointed at Erika's dango. Clearly asking for some. The otaku nervously pulled a piece off the skewer and handed it to the spiderling. The child grabbed it and nommed happily. "Tanku." She said softly, clearly trying to say thank you.
"Did you say something Erika?" Yumasaki looked at her. He saw the look of shock and confusement on her face, and looked down at what she was looking at. "A jorogumo child!?" He gasped nearly falling off of his seat. The spider child tilted her head then giggled monching the dango. Kadota Saburo and Ellessia looked to see what freaked Yumasaki out so much. "Oh, it's a spiderling." Ellessia stated calmly. Knowing it was a child form of Spider Deadra. "A what?" Saburo looked at the peculiar child then Ellessia. "A type of deadra, or demon as you may call it. From Oblivion." Ellessia explained. "Though clearly just a child. And seems harmless enough. Spiderlings usually only attack if their mothers summon them for a fight." She added, as if to calm them so they did not panic over the demon child being there.
Kadota got up from the table and knelt down by the child. Careful to not startle it. Even if it was a demon, she was just a child. So, scaring her would be cruel. "Hey little one. Ah, your mama isn't nearby is she?" He asked, making sure a larger version of her wasn't going to show up and attack them. "No. Mama is gone. But my human is near." She said smiling. "Your human?" Kadota looked at her puzzled. "Yes. He named Ran." She nodded. As she said this all color from Kadota's face drained. "Maybe, a different person named Ran?" Yumasaki said with a nervous smirk.
"Ran nice." The child smiled, tucking her legs under herself as she finished eating the dango. "Yep. Definitely a different Ran." Erika said. "What does your human look like spiderling?" Ellessia asked her. "He very tall and strong. He have odd covers on his eyes. His face burned. He carry a hammer, and wear a blue scarf." She explained. There was doubt now. She clearly meant Ran Izumi.
Before the gang could properly process the idea that Ran somehow had a spider demon, they heard a familiar voice. "Oi, get away from Fiora!" Ran stormed over to the group to make sure they were not harming the spiderling. "Fi,Fiora?" Erika looked at the spiderling. "Yes. I Fiora. I spider." Fiora smiled proudly then scampered over to Ran. "Human, they give me food. I like them." She said innocently. Ran frowned, then glared at the group.
"What are you doing with a spider demon Izumi?" Kadota stood up and looked at Ran. "None of your business Kyohei." Ran growled in response. "Oh I get. She is your familiar now. Not uncommon for Spider Deadra and Spiderlings to follow humans they deem strong." Ellessia spoke up. "Ah?" Ran looked over at her. Though she was in human form, her clothing was very, odd to say the least. The dark elf was wearing a leather bra like top, and tight leather pants with cut out designs near the pelvic area. Her body was strong built, and tall. As if her outfit wasn't odd enough, strapped to her hip was a katana.
"The hell is this? And how does she know about spiderlings?" Ran asked, his eyes fixated on Ellessia's chest. "Ellessia. I'm not from here. As for how I know. Spider Deadra are somewhat common where I come from." Ellessia bowed slightly. Ran raised an eyebrow then realized what she meant. Not from here. She wasn't from earth. Which meant, was she also some sort of demon? But what is she doing with Kyohei and his group?
"She a demon too?" Ran asked, looking at Kadota. "No! She is a dark elf." Saburo spoke up. "Elf, she don't look like an elf." Ran smirked. Ellessia glanced around making sure no one else was nearby and released her spell revealing her true form. Ran's smirk faded. "Oh." Was all he could say as he stared at her. She then quickly recasted the spell encase anyone came by. "Wait, you said dark elf?" Ran suddenly smirked again remembering certain hentai involving dark elves enslaving men.
"Before you get any ideas she isn't that type of dark elf." Kadota spoke up, knowing Ran all too well. "Really? Then why is she wearing that outfit?" Ran asked, then rolled his eyes. "Whatever. I am going home. Come on Fiora. I got what I needed. " He said gesturing for her to follow. The spiderling jumped onto his back and clinged to his scarf as he left.
