"So, this lady is some form of warrior elf. And literal hell is being unleashed on the city?" Chikage sat at the booth drinking some sake while the van gang tried to explain the situation to him. "Pretty much, yeah." Erika nodded. Chikage looked over at Ellessia. Even though she was in her human form, and even wearing normal clothes Erika helped her get. Chikage could tell. This woman was anything but normal. Even the way she looked at him, made him realize. She was not a human. Nor damsel in distress. "How did you meet up with these guys miss? " He asked. He wanted to know more about the situation, and her relationship with the van gang before agreeing to anything.

"They ran me over with their metal carriage, err van thing." Ellessia stated blunty. Chikage's eyes widened in horror then rage. "You what!? You dare run a lady over with your van you psycho!?" He yelled about to jump over the table to attack Saburo. "It was an accident! I would never harm a woman on purpose. I didn't see her in the road until it was too late, okay? Even then, we didn't even realize she was a she at first since she was covered up in some cloak." Saburo frantically tried to defend himself from the angered ladies' man. Oddly enough Chikage seemed to calm down.

"I see." Was all he said. He, couldn't really blame Saburo for an accident. Not too long ago he tried to kill what he thought was a man. Only to learn later of it was a woman. So even he was guilty of striking a woman. "After that they took me to some crazed guy in white named Shinra. We talked and now are working together to stop the Oblivion gates." Ellessia explained, her right hand between her leg caressing a dagger. She saw the anger in Chikage's eyes for a moment, and feared he was going to kill Saburo. If he had tried, she would have stabbed him before he would have landed a single punch though.

"How can I help?" Chikage asked after a few moments of awkward silence. "The only way I can stop it is by getting back to my world. There, I can kill the man responsible. But to do that. I need to enter one of the oblivion gates and find a sigil stone. It should send me back to my world." Ellessia explained. "And to ensure the lady succeeds. And the city does not get destroyed in the process. She needs as many people to help out stopping the demons responsible. And killing any demons who get in the way." Kadota added. "Think of it like an army. She needs to build an army of people willing to risk literal hell to save the world." Erika said, with a smile.

Chikage stayed silent debating what he should say. Obviously he wanted to help. But, demons? Hell? How could he and the gang help her? Surely they would need more people on their side. Even then. Was he really supposed to let this lady enter a gate on her own to stop the invasion? Even if she is strong. Even if she had the same strength of Shizuo...or even say. Deadwolv. He couldn't let her do it alone could he? "Unless a great gate opens any and all gates opening here in your world will happen outside the city limits. Unless they decide Earth truly is worth a full invasion. They will stick to only opening one or two minor gates to send scouts to examine earth. And to hunt me down." Ellessia spoke up.

"So just us, and this lady huh?" Chikage leaned back, wondering if he should also rally his gang to join in helping. "Shizuo and Izaya are also helping." Yumasaki stated. Chikage looked up. "They, helping? And not trying to kill each other?" The playboy was surprised to hear this. "The two currently have a truce of sorts. Until Izaya can unmask Deadwolv, and Shizuo can punch that thing back to wherever it came from. They are partners. At least that is how Shizuo put it." Kadota explained. He too was surprised at first about the truce. But, it made sense. Only Izaya was smart enough to locate Deadwolv. And only Shizuo strong enough to survive an actual fight with it.

Suddenly Chikage's face went pale at the mention of Shizuo fighting Deadwolv. "Err, You sure? Maybe Shizuo can just, ya know. Let Deadwolv be now? He hasn't caused any troubles lately. So why try anything with him? It would just be a suicide mission after all." Chikage stuttered. Seeming upset about the whole idea. "You feeling okay or something? You look faint. Besides. Shizuo can handle that monster." Yumasaki said, noticing Chikage looked like he was going to pass out. "What if Deadwolv is not a monster though?" Chikage asked, taking the group by surprise.

"Chikage. What has gotten into you? You even called that thing a monster and tried killing it before. Why now try and defend it?" Kadota raised an eyebrow realizing something was off. "It, it's just. I think we should let him be. He is no longer a threat. Nor a monster." Chikage stated calmly, paying for his part of the meal and getting up. But before he could make his way to leave Kadota grabbed him firmly by the wrist. "What did that thing do to you exactly? You told us a while back it was stalking you. And claimed it had some deal with you. What was that deal? Is it, did it do something to you?" He asked in a firm yet worried tone. Chikage would never defend a monster like that willingly. Clearly there was more to this.

"Does it matter old man? He's, my friend. And tell Shizuo. If he so much as punches Deadwolv once. I'll kick his ass." Chikage stated calmly and pulled away to leave. "Call me when you need my help with the demons Erika. I'll rally my gang. Maybe some of them can help too." He said as he left the restaurant. Erika's eye widened in shock. Then an odd smirk appeared on her face. "Maybe that thing brainwashed Chikage, or is using hypnosis?" Yumasaki spoke up finishing his sushi. "Or maybe that kiss was genuine!" Erika suddenly squealed. The group all looked at her confused.

"Don't tell me you all forgot already. Deadwolv kissed Chikage during their fight remember? Maybe he actually managed to seduce Chikage and they ain't friends but lovers! Like that Jack the Ripper movie where Jack fell in love with one of his victims. How romantic!" Kadota stared at her in disbelief, then face palmed. "Then definite hypnosis. Chikage ain't gay. So, the only way he would date a man is blackmail or literal mind control. " Yumasaki said. "And would explain Deadwolv's eyes. The literal blue glow. They must have some form of mind control." He added. Kadota sighed. But, began to worry. Maybe somehow in some twisted way. Erika was right. Maybe this monster was attracted to Chikage. And, using blackmail, threats, or mind control to make Chikage be with it. Either way. He had to make sure this thing did not kill Chikage, or hurt him in any other way.
