Ran stood by watching the bizarre ritual. The dark elf was placing several items on the ground and carving something into the dirt with her sword. Ellessia spoke something in a language none of them recognized, and the ground began cracking and red smoke rose. A stone gate shot out of the ground and a bright red light surrounded it. "Huh. A gate to hell. Never thought I would live to see such a thing." Ran muttered.

Saburo swallowed nervously, looking at the sword Ellessia gave him. "Stick behind me. Don't step anywhere unless I have already stepped there. If you see something moving. Alert me." She ordered him and Deadwolv. Deadwolv merely nodded. Seemingly bored already. "I don't like this. Saburo. You shouldn't go. We don't know what's inside there. And to be honest. Can we really trust her to not be a cultist herself?" Kadota suddenly spoke up.

Saburo looked shocked at what his friend just suggested. "Ellessia isn't an enemy! She won't hurt us. I trust her. Isn't that enough?" Saburo growled, feeling angered. "I'm just saying. She showed up and everything started getting weird. She claims to be stopping it. Yet she knows how to open the gates herself? Seems a bit suspicious to me." Kadota responded, trying to remain calm. "Nows not the time for that Kadota. If you had doubts. You should have mentioned them before. " Deadwolv smirked, pointing to the fact something was coming out of the gate.

Saburo glared at Kadota, then looked at the creature coming out. "We'll discuss this later Kadota. Right now. We need to survive." He said angrily. A small triceratops like creature came out. Though it walked on its hind legs. "Oh my goodness, it's adorable!" Erika gasped. Having expected some monstrous demon. Her excitement was short lived as the creature ran full force and head butted her in the stomach.

"Erika! " Yumasaki growled and used his homemade flame thrower on the thing before it could strike Erika again. "Clannfears are so annoying." Ellessia jumped through the portal with Saburo and Deadwolv. Kadota watched his friend vanish through the gate and frowned. Almost as soon as they went through. More demons began coming out. Some more clannfears, a spider deadra and several tall man-like demons with red skin.

Ran managed to take down the spider and one of the clannfears with his hammer. While Kadota and Shizuo took on some of the taller ones bare handed. Erika and Yumasaki took down the other clannfears, and a weird little demon with goat like legs and red skin. "Walker Kun. Your leg is on fire!" Erika yelled. "Oh shit!" Yumasaki put the flames out. "Guess this ring she gave me is truly fire resistant. The flames barely burned me. Just my pants." Yumasaki smirked looking at a ring Ellessia had gifted him shortly before the fight.

During the fight Fiora fell out of Rans coat and looked around noticing a big dremora headed towards Ran. "No hurt human!" She yelled at it, as the dremora raised his sword about to slice through Ran. The dremora stopped and looked at the small spiderling who was practically sobbing and begging him to not hurt Ran.

"Treacherous spider. I shall burn you and your precious human." The dremora raised the sword and brought it down to the ground. A large burst of flame was summoned headed straight for Fiora. Ran's eyes widened and he grabbed her blocking her small body with his own. He clenched his eyes bracing himself for the searing pain. But the pain never came. Instead of himself burning, he heard the scream of agony from someone else.

Opening his eyes he looked up. To his shock. Yumasaki had jumped in the way to protect him and Fiora. The ring Yumasaki wore prevented the flames from turning him to ash. But, did not stop the flames from harming him. "Walker!" Kadota yelled in horror. Shizuo gritted his teeth and punched the dremora so hard it went flying several feet into the air before crashing into a tree.

Kadota rushed over to Yumasaki to see if he was alive. Erika quickly got beside him, tears in her eye. "I'll be fine. I know how it feels to be barbecue now though..heh." Yumasaki winced, half of his face burned, and his arms burned as well.
