Chapter 01: Myths.

The singing of the birds created a harmonious melody, accompanied by the different sounds of nature, in which tranquility and peace could be breathed.

The eyes of a young blond man opened little by little, showing a blue color in them. At that moment, the immense sky welcomed the Kitsune, who found himself lying on the grass, covering his view from the daylight with one of his hands.

As the seconds passed, the Kitsune cleared his vision, seeing how the young blonde was without his fox ears and tails.

"Another day," the Kitsune whispered, removing his hand from his eyes.

The blonde rested one of his hands on the grass, beginning to get up, inhaling a small breath, and then ending up sitting down.

The Kitsune rubbed his eyes with his hand, yawning, looking to his side, seeing an open notebook. Without any expression on his face, the young blonde took the notebook, but not before visualizing an unfinished drawing.

At that moment, the Kitsune's clothing consisted of a white shirt, buttoned up to his neck, with slightly loose black pants, wearing a pair of dark shoes, keeping his hair short, wearing a silver bracelet on one of his wrists. , having a pendant in the shape of a Kanji.

The Kitsune stood up, closing the notebook, grunting as he felt a strong stab of pain on the side of his head.

The blonde took a step to maintain his balance as he almost fell, shaking his gaze as he felt a noticeable dizziness in his vision. With one of his hands, the Kitsune patted one of his cheeks, breathing calmly as he composed himself with the seconds.

-I'm sorry for causing you so much pain!

Hearing those words, the Kitsune turned around carefully, looking at a large crystalline lake, showing melancholy in its impassive eyes.

The Kitsune looked up for a moment, watching the clouds float in that vast sky. His free hand slowly moved towards his chest, noticing incessant discomfort, causing the young blonde to sigh.

-So today, it's 985 years old- said the Kitsune.

The young blonde looked away from the sky, lowering his hand from his chest, turning his gaze in another direction. Carefully, the Kitsune began to take several steps, moving away from the lake and the clearing in which he found himself.

As he took each step, that incessant pain in his head faded, exhaling a breath, still hearing the birds singing.

-Do not blame yourself. None of this, it was your fault!

-Drinking doesn't feel good to me at all. Much less, when another year has passed since his death," said the Kitsune, hearing another phrase in his mind.

Naruto took one last look around, appreciating the tranquility of the place, before leaving without thinking about anything else.

After a few minutes, from among some bushes, the blonde Kitsune was seen coming out. Just a couple of meters away, on a dirt road, the young man saw what appeared to be a bicycle, which he approached. In just a few steps, the Kitsune placed one of his hands on the handlebars of the bicycle.

"I think I'll be on time," Naruto murmured as he got on the bike.

At a moderate speed, the young blonde saw himself passing over a bridge, crossing a river above. The Kitsune's blue eyes saw several houses in the distance, as well as people and vehicles, going from one place to another.

The young man did not stop pedaling his bicycle, looking to his side for a few seconds, watching the flow of the river, which shined thanks to the light of the Sun.

"I hope the old lady doesn't get mad at me for being late for work once again," the Kitsune said with a relaxed look.

Calmly, the young blonde looked away from the river, fixing his gaze on the road, before hearing a loud scream in his head. Abruptly, the Kitsune stopped, almost falling off the bike, touching his head with one of his hands.

The young blonde did not show any expression of discomfort on his face, enduring that pain, noticing several voices slowly disappear.

"I won't drink again for a long time," the Kitsune said in a sigh.

"Elsewhere!".

At a moderate speed, a black car was seen traveling down a road, passing through a bamboo forest. The vehicle was driven by a driver, and 3 other people were seen in the back seats.

One of them was an elderly woman, who showed a warm smile, wearing a traditional Japanese Kimono of dark blue color, with white embroidery, with a print of red flowers, along with a yellow obi surrounding the woman's waist.

While on the right side of the old woman, there was an indifferent young man of 17 years old, with long, straight hair, wearing a dark red Yukata, keeping a black bandana tied on his forehead.

On the other hand, to the left side of the old woman, a 12-year-old girl was seen. Her long, silky hair shined in a black color, with eyes a deep onyx color.

The infant wore a pink Kimono, with a white flower print, and with a red obi surrounding her waist.

"Oba-chan, how long until we arrive?" the little girl asked curiously.

"Be a little more patient Satsuki-chan, it's only a few minutes until we arrive," the old woman responded with affection in her voice.

-Why do we always go to a temple so far away? - asked the one called Satsuki.

-They are traditions of our Satsuki ancestors, no matter how much they bore you, it is something you must do- answered the young raven man.

-Itachi-chan is right. ...for almost a thousand years, at the beginning of each spring, the Uchiha Clan has done this ritual every year without fail, in order to thank him and show our gratitude to the Kyubi No Kitsune - the grandmother explained.

"And why do we still worship Zorro?" Satsuki asked curiously.

-It seems like you forget everything Satsuki. "Each of the members of the clan were told stories, legends and myths about the Fox God," Itachi said indifferently.

Satsuki made an adorable pout at the cold words of the raven young man, who was just looking out the window. The gentle grandmother laughed warmly, placing one of her hands on the little infant's head.

"Don't worry, Satsuki-chan, you don't have to bother with your older brother," said the grandmother, seeing the infant puff out her cheeks even more.

"That's not fair! Onii-sama always messes with me Obaa-chan, and no one punishes him," Satsuki replied as she crossed her arms.

-Stop bothering Oba-sama with your complaints Satsuki and focus better on your studies, you are no longer a little girl to continue playing with dolls, which by the way. ...they are horrible- Itachi said with a mocking smile.

"If you say anything else about my toys, I'll hit you!" Satsuki warned angrily.

The grandmother of both brothers could only shake her gaze, giving a long sigh, directing her gaze to the front of the road.

"Several minutes later!".

A few long and tiring minutes had passed, seeing the car in which Itachi, the grandmother and Satsuki were riding enter what seemed to be a parking lot, a place where there were a few other cars.

Getting out of the car with her grandmother, Satsuki saw around 40 people there. Men, women, all alike, dressed in elegant Kimonos and Yukatas. Having just a few meters from them, a set of steps, which were seen leading to a temple at the top of the mountain.

-Oba-chan, why don't many of the Clan live in the same building in which we have lived? - Satsuki asked with intrigue.

At that time, Satsuki and the grandmother were away from the other members of their clan, who were divided between some groups.

-It's because you and I are part of the direct bloodline of the Uchiha, as well as your parents and Itachi-chan. Many of those who came decided to join their lives with people outside the clan, becoming mestizos - explained the grandmother.

-Mestizos? I don't completely understand Oba-chan- Satsuki said in confusion.

The old woman smiled at her little granddaughter, stroking Satsuki's head, who closed her eyes for a moment, before they were interrupted.

"My pretty Satsuki-chan!" called the sweet voice of a woman.

Satsuki looked to her side quickly, flashing a happy smile, only to find herself enveloped in the arms of an older woman in a second.

"I'm so sorry my girl, we couldn't pick you up earlier because of our jobs," the older woman said with sadness in her voice.

"It's okay Okaa-chan!" Satsuki said with an adorable smile.

The grandmother saw little Satsuki's mother on her knees, lovingly hugging the infant. However, another voice was present, drawing the attention of the old woman, who, without stopping smiling, watched another older man approach her.

"It is a pleasure to see that you are in good health, honorable grandmother," the man said with a bow of his head.

-Always as respectful as always Fugaku-san, although I'm already used to it. ...Well, Mikoto? How has the situation at the company developed? - the grandmother asked, looking especially at the one called Fugaku.

"You don't have to worry, Mother, we were able to resolve that matter, that's why we arrived on time," Mikoto responded, standing up with Satsuki in her arms.

-I understand, but I still want you to write a report to be aware of each of the details of that specific topic. "I wouldn't want things to get out of control in the future," the grandmother said seriously.

"As you say, honorable grandmother," Fugaku said with the utmost respect.

Satsuki looked curiously at her parents and grandmother, watching her mother caress her cheek with hers, taking her mind off of the Clan's problems.

"Time after!".

Night had begun to make an appearance in that sacred sanctuary. In which the Uchiha Clan was still found, both direct relatives as well as the secondary branch, paying their due respects to their own deity.

On the other hand, a bored Satsuki found herself sitting on a bench, looking in front of her, at an immense stone statue.

Behind the main temple, on a large terrace, with the naked eye, a sitting Fox could be seen, raised with its front paws, having its nose slightly raised, with 9 tails decorating its surroundings. The statue was looked at with disdain by Satsuki, who shook her gaze repeatedly.

-A Fox God? ...No, those things don't exist- Satsuki said with a snort.

And at that moment, a couple of steps brought Satsuki out of her thoughts, and she looked to her side, seeing another of her relatives smiling happily, being 21 years old.

"Huh? Uncle Obito?" Satsuki said curiously.

"Wow, I see I'm not the only one who gets bored with this kind of thing," said the one called Obito, who took a seat one meter away from Satsuki.

The infant did not respond to what was said, looking back at Zorro, an action imitated by Obito, who seemed to take some chips out of his Yukata. Satsuki frowned at her at the crunch of Obito's frying, giving a loud sigh.

"Well, Satsuki-chan? What is the reason you don't like to listen to the elderly?" Obito asked with genuine interest.

Satsuki looked down for a moment, seeing the shape of her little fingers. Obito raised his eyebrows at that moment, watching Satsuki's hand be extended towards his, only to flash an amused smile in a second.

-Your mother did teach you how to do things, but oh well. ...that seems fair to me- Obito said, shrugging his shoulders.

Stepping a little closer to the girl, Obito held out his bag of chips, allowing Satsuki to take a few. Which without further ado, he brought to her mouth quickly, showing a cute smile in his eyes.

-I see, it's normal for you to think that way when you don't fully understand what a tradition means to the clan. "But you know, that Zorro really existed many years ago," Obito said, changing his expression to a neutral one.

Satsuki stopped eating the fried foods from the bag, turning her gaze towards her uncle, who at that moment was looking closely at that stone statue.

"What? The Fox God existed? When?" Satsuki asked in an intrigued manner.

-I couldn't tell you exactly Satsuki-chan. Do you remember the stories that Grandma Kaede told you? …well, of all those myths, 4 could be real. The first talks about, "That when the Fox was wounded, the Clan saved him, healing all of his wounds until he was healed, giving the Clan their gratitude"–Obito said.

"That's the most popular story in the clan," Satsuki said.

-The second story tells, "That Zorro was marginalized by his race, wandering the world. Until he found the Uchiha, who initially confronted him. But over time, both parties understood each other, creating a bond of trust"– Obito says.

-The Clan would have been extinct at that time- Satsuki said when thinking about the power of Zorro.

-I guess Satsuki-chan. …The third story tells, "That in reality, the Uchiha clan was created by the Fox God, using his own flesh, blood and bones"– said Obito.

-The 2 previous stories would have more possibilities than this one- Satsuki said.

"It's not very polite of you to give logic and find errors in the stories people tell," Obito said with a snort.

"Eh? I'm really sorry, Uncle Obito, it's just that they always say things that are very unlikely," Satsuki said with a sad look.

-One way or the other!. …The last story tells, "That the Fox was the guardian of a beautiful forest, in which he welcomed the Clan. Until our ancestor, Uchiha Tsuki, fell in love with him, having a mutual love, living a happy life"– said Obito with emotion.

Satsuki remained silent in those moments, finishing eating the fried food, thinking about a human next to an immense Fox.

-One of those 4 stories is the real one. ...Tell me, which one would you choose Satsuki-chan? - Obito asked, turning his gaze towards the infant.

At Obito's question, Satsuki stood up, taking a few steps towards the statue, shaking her gaze.

"¡End of Chapter!".
