Deadwolv looked around the hellish landscape. Ellessia led him and Saburo through a stone path near a cliff. "The tall tower there. The highest room in it is where the stone is. Once I remove it. We go home." Ellessia explained having done this many times now. Saburo followed closely, avoiding any step she seemed to avoid.
Deadwolv spotted a flaming lady nearby. "Uh. What's that?" Before Ellessia could answer the lady threw a fireball at them. "Flame atronach. Duck!" Ellessia shouted and blocked the two from the fire with her body. "Ellessia!" Saburo shouted in terror. To his surprise Ellessia was barely scorched. "Don't worry about me. Dunmer are fire resistant." She smirked as she slayed the flame atronach with her sword. Saburo sighed in relief as they continued their way to the tower.
Once at the tower Ellessia led them up through the many floors. Only a few demons were present. Which seemed to confuse the dark elf. Each one was a minor fight. Barely an obstacle. Deadwolv managed to kill a few himself. Even Saburo killed a smaller one. Though it was more or less an accident. It charged him, he ducked, and it got skewered on a booby trap.
As they reached the top floor Saburo stopped Ellessia from opening the door to the chamber. "Uh what are you doing?- "Look. Encase you are right, and the stone does send you back to your world. If, I never see you again. I want to say...well.." Saburo seemed nervous. Unsure how to say it. Ellessia's crimson eyes widened for a moment then she smiled. To both Saburo and Deadwolv's shock the dark elf leaned in a kissed Saburo.
"If all works out, I will find a way back to your world. I promise." She smiled and opened the door. Entering the room, they saw a spiral like staircase made of bones leading up to the stone. However. They also saw why they got there so easily. The room was full of demons. It was a trap.
Ellessia charged and fought back as best she could. Deadwolv helped too. But they were overwhelmed by the number of the large creatures. One of them looking much like a giant man alligator hybrid slashed Wolv in the chest hard. Cutting through their shirt, binder and flesh some. Saburo saw one aiming a sword at Ellessia's back. Without thinking he jumped in the way blocking her. But in the process, he got struck instead, and fell down dead.
"Saburo no!" Ellessia screamed in anger and sorrow. She then grabbed one of the knives Wolv dropped and stabbed the demon through its neck. As she did so, the demon pierced her through her chest. Wolv used one of his larger blades and sliced the creature's head off. "Grab the stone. It's too late for me. Get it. Go home. Save your world. " Ellessia gasped her last breath. Deadwolv frowned and ran up the stairs and grabbed the stone as quickly as they could. The world around them seemed to burn away. And once the flames died down, they were back outside of Ikebukuro with the others. However, both Saburo and Ellessia's bodies were left back in Oblivion.
Deadwolv practically fell to his knees as he dropped the stone. Kadota ran over. "Where is Saburo?" He asked. Wolv remained silent. "Oi bastard. He asked you a question. Where is Saburo?" Shizuo glared at the killer. "Dead. They both died." Wolv whispered softly. Kadota's eyes widened in horror. "No..." Was all he could respond. "What?! Then how the hell are you still alive? Why didn't you save them?!" Shizuo growled and grabbed Wolv by their shirt lifting him off the ground. "You bastard better have a good reason for not saving them or else I will -" Shizuo stopped yelling abruptly.
His hands were wet and sticky. Looking down he saw they were covered in blood. Deadwolv's blood. But not only that. Deadwolv's shirt was cut open, revealing a rather feminine chest just barely covered by a cut up binder. "Holy shit." He muttered letting Wolv go. Chikage ran over and helped Wolv back up. "I'll be fine cutie. Just need to get home and clean up my wound and rest some. " Wolv sighed softly.
Erika grabbed Yumasaki with Ran's help and carried him to Shinras for medical treatment. Fiora clung to Ran's scarf as usual. Izaya snuck off in cat form while Shizuo punched a tree leaving a hole. Shizuo then sighed and left, as did Deadwolv and Chikage. However. Kadota stayed, staring at the ground silently crying.
