Chapter 2: One step forward

A/N: Hope the few people here are enjoying the read.

It hadn't been long enough for her to get used to the new technology, it was a big step up from her last model. But Chi-Chi had turned the combat training room into a debris field. Metals, rocks, and all manner of hazards from fire, ice, and electricity were put out for her to simulate. But she had been unsettled ever since coming back. Like a nervous tick she couldn't quite put her finger on.

She had been nothing but restless for days since getting her new arm.

Krillin who was also in attendance also had used ki attacks, the new absorption effects were also a step up.

"So how are the upgrades?" Krillin was situated on the edge of the training ring where Chi-Chi was presently working out the functions of her new arm. It wasn't as light as the previous model, having sacrificed speed and reaction for durability which nearly cost her the last fight when it was broken by sheer saiyan brute strength.

For demonstration purposes Chi-Chi grabbed a solid concrete pillar with the outstretched metallic arm and began to squeeze. Puncturing the wall which was enough for a parking garage and kept digging in. Until she had broken through half of it without so much as a hint of resistance. "I think it works." She responded approvingly. "That was at less than one percent output." The new model was a sleeker three piece design with the hand and shoulder completely separate.

Remembering the conversation with Bulma after installing it a few days ago. 'The layered design was good for practical mobility and circuitry that could be braced for direct contact with energy strikes. This new design borrows from one of my dad's associates Dr. Gero. It is a super tight nano weave mesh and artificial muscles bound over compact tendons are more reactive and denser than the last model. The entire hand is pure drain tech, you grab a hold of a saiyan like before and you can begin sucking the life right out of them if you hold on long enough. Add in the battery backup that can be dumped into your body like a shot of adrenaline can give you a kick with only minor side effects.'

On Top of her hand being able to spin a full three sixty and rotate the entire shoulder as well she had even more flexibility than with a simple human arm. Not that she didn't miss having human appendages. It was just a new part of her. Pressing her palm flat she crushed the upright pillar into the ground. "Let's go."

"Huh? Already?" Krillin voiced concern as Chi-Chi spun her wrist and clenched her fingers and gave a hard look back at him.

"There's still two more saiyans on this planet and I'm going to kill them."

"You just recovered from one fight less than five days ago! You are not ready to go back out Chi-Chi you haven't mastered-"

She whirred up her arm several times before giving him the notion that she was one hundred percent dead serious. "I don't give a damn, they are out there and no doubt killing more people and causing untold suffering and until we kill them it will not stop!" She then began making her way towards the door with him jumping after her.

"Look I totally get the idea to murder those monsters but come on! You are not one hundred percent and one of our best fighters. We can at least locate a target before you go out hunting." He put his hands up trying to ask her to stop and think about it.

Chi-Chi continued to ignore Krillin's protests, lining it straight for the rapid reaction force command area that was set up not far from their training area. Pressing her hand over the authorization panel that cleared a green light letting her enter. A small compound built with a basic military function, either side containing huge wall lockers filled with easily accessible weaponry, of course it wasn't anything more than a tickle as energy style weaponry was still temperamental at the best of times.

Soldiers in the RRF units used the Mark Five plasma rifle or AUG, based on the steyr Aug. Harnessing the raw energy of plasma, the rifle becomes a fearsome instrument of destruction. Its once conventional ammunition replaced by volatile plasma cells, the AUG now emits an ominous glow, hinting at the untamed power coursing through its sleek frame.

However, this newfound power comes at a cost. Maintenance of the plasma-enhanced AUG is a complex and arduous task, requiring specialized knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. The intricate systems that regulate the plasma discharge demand regular calibration and upkeep, making it a logistical nightmare in the field and preventing it from being given to any civilian or mass produced.

Moreover, the consequences of mishandling this advanced weapon are dire. Improper maintenance or careless operation can lead to catastrophic failures, with the potential to unleash deadly plasma surges that endanger not only the wielder but also those nearby. In the wrong hands, the augmented AUG becomes as much a threat to its user as it is to the enemy.

The bullpup energy cell held up to two hundred bursts of plasma before being refitted which also required extended cooling or any horrible malfunction could occur.

Chi-Chi-'s sudden appearance drew immediate attention. Her cybernetic arm was a dead giveaway as there was only a single woman who had such a prosthetic. The recent score tally of a fourth saiyan to the list of killed also earned her admiration and praise from those in the unit.

Perhaps twenty or thirty were sitting around in the main living hall, while not on leave they all remained here. The unit was equipped to handle up to a hundred, but the mortality rate was above sixty percent. The exception being for Chi-Chi's deployment of ten percent. The other Z-fighters tried to use the RRF as a distraction, an ability to draw away attention for a hard and brutal strike. While effective it had allowed Krillin to score two kills, and Tien one himself the attrition in the units was brutal.

Of course no one was going to argue the morality of sacrificing so many lives when it had taken billions to kill a saiyan the first time. It was a sacrifice and a painful that many had to bear for humanity to survive.

The entire room stood up, military honorifics as she entered. "Mam!" Several shouted in greeting. "Good to see you up!" Others greeted her as she bid them at ease with her hand gesture.

There wasn't any sort of greeting for Krillin. Not that he could blame them. Twenty of their friends were dead thanks to him. So they weren't overly enthusiastic but nor did they disrespect him either. He had the power to kill an alien, they were still little more than fodder and meat for the grinder.

Trading ten or twenty thousand civilians would be acceptable losses if it meant the death of a single invader.

"No time for pleasantries, I am well enough to go hunting. I need a recon squad and recovery ready for departure once a target is located. I have a new arm that needs breaking in." The room's pleasant greeting wasn't for long as the request came in. Their faces became somber as she looked at them with that same dour expression.

Another brush with death, led by the mad woman herself. None offered a response as the curt request was interrupted. "Miss Chi-Chi," the voice of the unit's executive officer came from the command room above. His door had been open so he heard everything. An older man in his mid forties with a rough face of stubble and an eye patch covering with a balding head. The traditional military garb of olive drab green and brown polished boots. "Into my office please." He said directly with a wave of his hand. "The rest of you get prepared for a departure in thirty minutes."

Silence followed except for the moving of chairs setting down silverware from food and the scuffle of boots across the clean tiled floor.

Chi-Chi headed up with Krillin in tow to the officers office. A small wooden desk, several monitors and a direct live feed broadcasting on one of them. His proud title of Lt. Colonel Schwartz. "Your arrival is always welcome here, both of you." He added acknowledging Krillin as well. "An immediate departure can be arranged and a welcome relief as currently one of the civilian Hive City of Athos is being attacked as we speak."

"What!?" Both of them said in unison. "Why in the hell didn't we hear about it?"

"Because I just found out about it twenty minutes ago and it has been going on for several days apparently." The Lt. said looking at the feed. " That place has always been difficult to work with, ever since they got that megalomaniac Hercule Satan to take the reins and become its mouthpiece. They are dead set on showing that normal humans can save themselves. No special technology, no nukes, just basic sweat, tears, and a lot of blood. About a third of the place is already rubble and the people are just being fed into the meat grinder. I'd probably guess several hundred thousand are already dead and probably a million will die even if this were to stop right now if they don't blow the entire place to high heaven."

Chi-Chi watched the rapidly switching cameras as people were throwing themselves at the invading saiyan who was not blasting them to bits but beating them all with his bare hands. Waves of hundreds charging with whatever weaponry they had. A man leapt at the saiyan, two grenades in both of his hands only to be punched clean in half, the resulting explosion killing several more people and wounding a dozen more as the attack did nothing. Not even a scratch. A second smashed the broken piece of metal and masonry across the aliens head to do nothing and be decapitated with a slice of the things hand.

"It's pure suicide! They are dying for nothing!" Chi-Chi yelled her metallic arm lighting up with a faint glow as her ki rushed through her body with the same burning intensity that filled her body when she remembered her dear uncle's honorable sacrifice for her.

The officer nodded his head. "Indeed, it's why I'm not objecting to sending you out immediately. Tien will remain in reserve but I want both of you to go to this one. With there only being two saiyans, if we pull off another miracle and kill a third we'll no doubt force a withdrawal and buy us some damn peace for a year. We could actually force them off the planet instead of waiting for them to do it."

Chi-Chi's head turned to the officer who was staring at the monitor seeing the way the monster laughed standing over the corpses of so many people. Blood and gore covered everything. "My second kill was no miracle with all do respect Schwartz."

His head turned towards her. "You survived by blowing up a nuke in that thing's face. You lost your primary weapon and defense in a last moment gamble… that was a miracle." He did take a full breath before continuing. "I am not blind to know that you fought incredibly hard. Your dedication as a human who has now killed four of those things is not without merit. But they are simple victories, you are the only person who has done so," His eyes glanced at Krillin. "The others in the Z unit are rare exceptions and not without your own casualties. Tien's ward blew himself up in an effort to kill one of those aliens but failed to do so. Even the illustrious Bulma Briefs male confidant was nearly killed and is still recovering, so do forgive my wording but those are not practiced tactics, no strategy. Your group fights in a way that less than a fraction of a percentage can and that so-called Turtle Hermit hasn't so much as produced a single competent fighter other than a slew of sexual complaints."

That wasn't up for argument, but the commander just set his shoulders. "You both will have your chance. Just get ready for load up and departure in thirty minutes."

"Then I'll be back for dinner with a fifth Kill." Chi-Chi spoke with the surety that would satisfy any commander.

Schwartz did not change his expression. "Overconfidence is a killer, dismissed." He said turning back to monitor the situation as there was very little else the man could do as only the RRF forces could have a hope of reacting to the unfolding tragedy. Still as the cameras flashed he watched the monster barrel his way through more people, their fanaticism honorable but misplaced.

Krillin followed behind Chi-Chi as she made her way to the launch point. While not thrilled with having to throw himself back into the field, not due to a lack of courage but the knowledge of how many lives it had cost him the last time played on his mind. Seeing so many young men and women butchered. So many of those beds were now empty because of him. He may not have killed them but their blood was still equal on his hands and now he was going back out with Chi-Chi… not the worst prospect.

However, as he followed alongside he didn't have a choice either and the feeling of tightening in his chest rose as they walked in silence. Nothing but pure focus coming from the raven haired woman.

As they approached the lift Krillin could only try to shake the sweat from his palms as the doors closed.

[***]

"Achoo!" The pilot sneezed loudly bringing the entire energy of the pulse hover jet completely on his head. "Ah, finally!" Removing their helmet and a bright blonde with green eyes appeared. "Alright you soon to be dead sons of bitches just know you won't die on the ride there! You got the best Launch flying you out there!" She laughed as she pulled the medium sized aircraft from its position in the hangar and lined itself up on the launch pad. A large V shaped ariship with a large box container for storing their cargo, with a narrow neck housing the cockpit. Two large engines on either side of the large containment area.

A kinetic throwing arm with magnets and pulleys for full effect. As the warning lights and taxi signs illuminated the launch bay the pilot turned back around. "I dragged your sorry ass back on the last flight and already going out again? You know if you ever switch teams I'd take you around the world lass." Giving an appreciative look over Chi-Chi who remained locked into her harness seat along the crafts wall in her dark blue fighting gi.

She gave her slight side eye. "I'm sure there are many people who'd like to do that, but no thank you Launch, just focus on flying."

The cackle just escaped from the pilot's mouth. "Ah, just a good joke is all. You people staring death in the face need to learn how to laugh more. Aint that right lass?" She said giving a wink to one of the female reaction members who was thankful to be wearing her helmet but the blush that ran to her cheeks told a far different story.

'P-please that was just a one time thing!" It made several more heads, including Krillin look at her. Realizing the mistake was showing. "I had too many drinks last time and I was just pent up just let it go!" She shouted.

Chi-Chi didn't bother getting further involved in one's bedroom activities decided to pull topics as the yellow lights began flashing in warning of the impending launch. "Focus all of you."

"Yes mam," Were repeated except, "Killjoy." Coming from the cockpit as the light tripped green and the felt the immediate G-forces upon them as they were hurled forwards with the launcher, the nearly three quarter of a mile strip pointing out of a small underhang that was inside the ground's topography threw the aircraft out.

Its engines were not firing up as they relied on momentum wanting to avoid drawing any eyes towards the concealed launch point until at least some dozen or so miles away. Launch kicked on the engines as soon as they crested upwards into the clouds and then broke into the stratosphere coverage to avoid physical confirmation.

The turbulence was intense as they rocked and rolled through the thick clouds. But it was either a bumpy ride or flying in open air with a creature that was able to go super sonic and fire attacks that were even faster. So bickering was kept to a minimum as the entire craft rattled around.

Still there was time until they reached Athos and Chi-Chi laid her head back against the minor padding of her harnessed seat. Looking over to her mechanical arm that spun and rotated freely. Chi-Chi ran her metallic fingers together, but was unable to feel anything. The clicking of metal joints and tapping fingers, there was nothing.

Looking at her normal flesh and blood hand she could scarcely remember how it felt now to have two real arms.

"Does it bother you?" One of the reaction members asked, her head turning to look at the soldier. She shook her head, that was a lie. "I know I don't have the good stuff like you, but I still imagine that my foot is there." The audible click of his metal joints as he pivoted on his foot. It was a generic prosthetic, the kind she would use during maintenance. The missing feeling was ingrained in her mind.

"You're a hell of a tough woman though mam, it's only been about a week and you are already going back out into the field again?"

Chi-Chi took in a breath. "We won't be safe unless they're gone and I owe the man who saved my life nothing less than everything I have. I won't be satisfied until I've killed as many saiyans as I can."

"If any person has the ability to do that you are the one who has my money, but I've already seen enough of those aliens to know that without people like you we're assuredly doomed. It's not like we can unleash another huge nuclear barrage on the world without turning it into an irradiated ball for the next ten thousand years."

"If we don't save the city of Athos their leader could detonate the massed warheads in the city as a last resort." The RRF squad leader chimed in as he rested just behind the pilot's chair.

"That city has been under siege for three days. Why haven't they dropped the bombs already?" It was the question many of the members had. "They already breached and are inside, even if they are fanatical purists their is no way they'd take being slaughtered by the thousands."

The commander nodded, "Yeah if that city completely fails to fulfill its purpose I have no doubt the megalomaniac Hercule would blow it up. But he won't do anything to harm his daughter. So long as she's alive and safe that man won't touch the button and blow it all sky high. I had the misfortune of meeting that crazy man and he's a complete man child around his daughter. If she was taken hostage he'd surrender Capsule City's secrets without question to get her back and if she was killed he'd blow up the planet if he had a chance."

Chi-Chi could relate somewhat to that feeling. "A person with nothing to lose is terrifying. I can understand that sentiment." She honestly believed that it was probably a more common feeling amongst those with her already. They wouldn't be here without their reasons but had very little else to lose aside from their lives.

It became silent as they continued to fly ignoring the rocking and shaking of the ship as they continued on their trajectory.

But it only lasted for a few moments, "Well we've only met you before a few times Krillin as we've been working with Miss. Chi-Chi what are you doing in the special Z-fighters unit. You're obviously not as hell bent on revenge. So why are you in this unit?"

A diversion of conversation and not a not entirely untrue statement but Chi-Chi was going to offer up that she actually had more than just revenge on her plate. Listening absently as she had to leave behind her son so often. She loved spending time with her little boy, he was already a prodigy, perhaps blessed by his creation or genetics. Not that she was going to point the finger in either direction as to who were the superior ones as his strength and agility were that of a man and he was just out of diapers.

However her son was nothing short of gentle, he took great care around his Nana, Dr Briefs and Bulma. They treated him just like a normal child and respected and listened to them just as he listened to her. But no one aside from those three and maybe several other individuals had any idea of Gohan's true history and from there only a handful knew about Chi-Chi having a child. Being told that less people who could know about it would be aware of such a thing and try to utilize that knowledge against her. Also not wanting the saiyans themselves to learn that they in fact had a hybrid saiyan growing on the planet. Given their penchant for saving their dead and preventing them from falling into their hands for study, Chi-Chi was almost assured they would kill her son in a heartbeat.

Still as she drifted back into the conversation hearing Krillin banter back and forth with those around them. Chi-Chi could see the fear in him, it was true he had lost friends. Everyone had, no one was exempt from that pain of loss in this world. It affected all people, all creeds, all colors the same. There was no mercy, no quarter, either life or death and nothing in between.

Rattling as the ship broke through the cloud coverage the light inside the ship turned red. "Grab your asses boys and girls! We are coming in hot!" Launch shouted as she punched the emergency thrusters and fired the ship towards the city of Athos. It was a monumental sized piece of concrete, steel, and human sweat and blood. Kilometers upon kilometers of massive expensed hive towers that packed humans together almost like sardines. Massive two hundred foot reinforced walls that once bristled with cannon batteries and flak guns were missing in large chunks. Entire complexes were leveled to the ground, dirt and debris filled the super highways along with burned out vehicles of a military and small civilian population along its roadways.

As they breached the upper walls, the ships automatic defenses kicked on and flares shot outwards as the cities wall guns that remained in operation targeted the incoming ship.

Launch couldn't go higher to avoid the missile defenses and instead nose dived using the debris of the city and standing buildings as fodder as the guns fired unequivocally and shallow man pad launchers launched their missiles on the ship. "Door opening in ten seconds, don't let it kick you in the ass on the way out!"

Chi-Chi stood up along with the rest. Everyone held onto the railing above them as the back door snapped open. "GO!" Launch screamed holding the ship steady as the team jumped out. Their supported air jet packs and weapons moving quickly out until Chi-Chi exited last the doors remaining open as the pilot pulled up hard and banked in an arc the missiles unable to keep pace impacting hard into the massive towers and she erupted in a burst of speed breaking up to seven times the speed of sound as she went airborne and vanished into the clouds.

"Krillin, take the squad and find that idiot in charge, I'll go hunting for the saiyan." Chi-Chi flexed her new mechanical arm eager for its maiden fight.

"I'll take all but five, you need someone to watch your ass in case something else happens." Krillin looked to the small group near Chi-Chi, "you're her support do not let her die, the rest we are going to the city center on the double."

"Yes sir!" They shouted and Krillin jumped off with the rest towards the burning super highway. Their jet packs gave them enough lift to keep them airborne several inches above the ground before they began taking off down the roads.

Chi-Chi felt her heart race and sent out a scan of the area with her senses. Picking up the energy signal like a fire in dry brush. Turning her head back to those with her. "Keep a safe distance, watch from as far back as feasible. This place will have explosions and debris raining down all over the place. Don't take risks unless I can't handle it."

"We have faith in you Mam." One spoke up as Chi-Chi gave a slight nod to that. Turning back towards the ruined parts of the city they had a job to do.

But in Chi-Chi's case a mission, as there was nothing more to say Chi-Chi leapt from the building and took off in flight towards the energy signature of her target. One might think that the explosions and sounds of yelling and sporadic gunfire might be more direct but with the massive structures all over and sounds bouncing everywhere it was impossible to pinpoint exactly.

The saiyan in this case was currently enjoying himself more than amused by the humans that continued to throw themselves at him. His boisterous laughter echoing as he was covered in the squalor and gore of his prey. Any pristine nature of his white boots and gloves were long turned crimson and his arm a pock marked mess of scratches, dents and splatterings of that same crimson liquid covered him all over. "Ah this is nothing but fun! Three full days of-!" His fist punched another human into a fine red paste as he charged him with a piece of steel and broken masonry. "Pure fun!"

"It has been an enjoyable stay, a shame that our two other adventuring parties are dead." A voice spoke to him from his scouter as he laid another couple weaklings with a kick of his leg, the shockwave alone throwing others backwards and into further debris.

"Well this world has been surprising, but after all of those previous reports I'm happy that it wasn't a disappointment. I really give these earthling creatures credit for trying to fight me with such pathetic power levels." He smashed several more with a backhand, glancing towards another which held a large rocket on his shoulder and fired it straight towards him. It was painfully slow for a warrior like him. He easily moved several meters to the side, and then moved forwards passing the rocket before it impacted where he was standing moments ago. "I hate cowards." He spoke as the rocketman blinked and the saiyan was already upon him.

The poor human was spread across the concrete like a layer of pasta sauce.

Ignoring the kiss of what followed to be bullets upon his skin as little more than annoying bumps he formed ki atop his fingertips and threw them into the masses with another burst of explosions.

"I think I need to find some of that rumored good human food, they always-" He was hit, and not by a normal human. His head slammed into the ground, his ears ringing and body was quickly barraged by hard punches and kicks.

His senses required that momentary reboot as he swatted at his assailant. Thinking that perhaps something had gotten the better of him and not fully grasping that an actual comparable foe had appeared.

Chi-Chi however was in no mood for taking things slow or easy. She hit the saiyan repeatedly in the head, the crack of the blows were chipping away at the ground as she avoided his half hearted swipe to get rid of her and just brought down her mechancial arm straight into the saiyans jaw.

But her confidence quickly faded as this saiyan flared up his ki rapidly. A powerful defensive barrier and repellent sending even her backwards. Skimming along the broken concrete until coming to a stop Chi-Chi's ponytail only wiping behind her as her clothes flapped in the wind of the release of rapid energy.

Wiping the blood from his lips and setting his jaw back right the saiyan merely scowled at her. "Here I had hoped that the rumored bitch who has been putting up such a fight had more honor than this."

Her brown eyes narrowed, " There will be no honor for butchers, rapists, and monsters." Her knuckles cracked as she spat her words at the alien.

"Hah! What rights do the weak have against the strong?" He retorted, amused by this special looking human. "You are nothing but our amusement and that's all your kind are. But at least these humans had the decency to fight and die with some spirit. But i'll take my time gutting you little girl."

She didn't reply; instead she charged forwards, her mechanical arm outstretched forwards drawing forth her energy from her body rapidly as she aimed her attack at the saiyan. The first blast ripped forwards sending a huge ball of yellow ki into the saiyan who only roared in further amusement and welcomed the oncoming blast.

Catching it with both hands the Saiyan merely grinned his black spikes atop his head whipping around slightly in the rush of energy as he dug in his feet before thrust forwards. The ball of energy dissipating as he diffused it. Giving him but enough time to react as Chi-Chi came in next, her fist aimed straight for his shoulder joint. He blocked her strike knocking her to the side with the follow through of his momentum shoving her off to the side attempting to chop with a hard drop as she passed but missed as she did not attempt to counter letting the force push her through.

Landing shortly after but taking but a blink before she shot right back into the fight, moving for a direct neck shot. He put up a guard looking to tire her out as she went on the offensive or perhaps bored slaughtering humans and wanted a break but took the blow and shot his hand out grabbing at Chi-Chi grasping her mechanical arm. "Not smart are you?"

Snorting in response as he grabbed her arm, the joint whirring and twisting as the joint flipped, letting Chi-Chi move in a fashion that no flesh and bone ever could. Flipping behind him as he was caught by surprise. Her knee caught him in the back of the head dazing him, still stunned Chi-Chi then snapped the metallic limb that lost its sure grip but a moment ago around the saiyans neck and proceeded to squeeze.

Almost able to feel the fiber muscles joints and pistons moving Chi-Chi locked the arm tight, cutting off his air was no different than a humans. Following up the death grip with a hard double knee straight into the back. Forcing what air was in out and not allowing anymore to go in.

Sputtering the saiyan's eyes went red, unable to gasp a single breath of air but he was not helpless he tried to grasp at Chi-Chi, his fingers finding the top of her gi as she dodged his rear grip and pulled. Tearing fiber clean apart but did not dislodge his attacker. Flaring his ki the desperate defense shot himself backwards driving Chi-Chi into the ground with every single ounce of force he could muster as he felt the gray edges of his vision closing in.

For an impossible long seconds he broke through the concrete, steel, and reinforced foundations until impacting on the natural gas lines some several hundred yards down with an explosion that broke the ironclad grip for but a moment.

Chi-Chi felt the scorching heat and could not break instinct and broke away or be shoved further into the explosion. The saiyan was heavily singed, his body awash in 3rd degree burns as the roaring fire engulfed him as he lost focus as the rush of air was further depleted by the fire.

Barely managing to fall out and suck in a desperate gulp of air. Of course his scouter was screaming at him as he had that same energy signature zeroing back in on him. He got an arm up as he was kicked to the side. Rolling several times until he crashed down from above. The female heels digging into his protected gut and cracking the material along with bones alike. His mouth unleashed blood and spittle as the force drove him down into the ground. He deflected the flesh fist but the mechanical arm snapped around his neck. "You're going to fucking die you monster." Chi-Chi spat as she began to squeeze, the linkage of her ki absorbing grip working quickly. His eyes were already beginning to roll into the back of his head.

But from nowhere her senses felt an approaching power… and it wasn't human. So focused she lost the greater totality of the circumstances and a form barrelled into her. She was knocked backwards skimming across the ground and into the support of a large habitation block that rocked and shook from the impact. Masonry and windows not already broken by the battle erupted as she broke through the several hundred yard structure and out the back.

Immediately her ear began to vibrate, 'Mam it's another Saiyan! Mam! MAM!' The panic was showing as Chi-Chi pushed back to her knees. "So you're the queen bitch all these boys were talkin about huh?" The voice was feminine and appeared in front of Chi-Chi like a bolt of lightning. "Gotta say I had no idea you were that vicious, almost reminds me of a proper saiyan although I can only say that I am happy a real opponent is actually here."

Lifting her head up Chi-Chi ignored the blood dripping from her forehead and arms as she got up. A short almost bob cut female saiyan, her waist decorated by a teal covering and pink arm bands. No shoulder pads but a breastplate were their only defenses. "As much as it would be appropriate to kill him, I'm sorry but that saiyan works for my mate and I can't have you killing him. That would be bad for business."

Breathing heavily Chi-Chi looked up at the woman who gave her an approving grin. "Tough, ruthless, and still kicking. You have my respect, although I'm sorry that you will have to die."

She spat in response. "Not to any murdering psychos like you." She raised up her mechanical arm. "I'll kill every single one of you for what you've done to me and my world."

Nodding in affirmation, "Oh I understand that sentiment girl, but your bravado isn't going to carry you here. I'm a small step up in quality from these warriors, they are but the chaff, class three and well I'm a bigger step up than them."

With a grit Chi-Chi decided to take things differently, drawing back her arms behind her, "Fine then…. KA-ME-HA-!" Her voice shouting as blue energy swirled out from her palms and merged into a ball. The female saiyan stopped watching her prepare herself.

There wasn't a hint of her words passing but Chi-Chi sent her message through her nanomachines in her ear, 'All or nothing! This is a saiyan. The other one is probably weak but get everyone out of here I am going to blow this bitch to hell.'

'Mam no you can't! This is suicide retreat!'

If she could… Chi-Chi had used up some energy in the last fight and had maybe drained enough to be in decent shape but as she let her senses reach out this opponent… was much stronger than the last saiyan.

"ME-!" She shouted as the blue light swirled out from her hands and began to shake.

"Oh that's quite a little trick you've got planned. Alright let's have it then." She clapped both of her hands together, rubbing them eagerly as Chi-Chi dragged her back leg forwards.

Ignoring the pain in her limbs, the sweat dripping into her and the fresh blood trickling out from her fresh cuts. This was a do or die moment, the other saiyan could recover and there was no possibility of a two on one victory. This had to do it!"HA-!" With a roar of pure defiance she thrust both hands forwards and unleashed her most powerful attack possible.

It went forwards at a blinding speed until it impacted hard with the outstretched palms of the female saiyan. Sparking for but a few moments until with almost complete disbelief the blue wave was punched straight upwards.

Chi-Chi was left completely bereft of any thoughts as she watched the saiyan woman in front of her take her most powerful attack and not even flinch. It could've leveled a portion of a city and the alien just batted it away with contemptuous ease.

Her ear was ringing with all kinds of yells and panicked orders but she didn't even hear it as the silence came from inside of her. She had thought the saiyan that had dominated her when she was unprepared was powerful? This, this was insane. There was no way they could just… just.

"Not bad girl, you definitely deserve the praise for being able to kill our third class saiyans but there's a gap you couldn't believe between 3rd and 2nd. But don't worry I will make this without suffering for you." The woman approached slowly as Chi-Chi remained frozen. Without even the slightest breath passing she was hit, her stomach was struck so hard she felt blood spill out from her mouth as she dropped to the ground.

She couldn't breathe, her vision was spinning and flashes of colors and blinding pain as she couldn't feel anything below her waist. "I'll end it now." Raising up a hand only to have a short bald headed man landed beside Chi-Chi. "Go now!" He shouted.

"Team get her out of here now! I'll get us the space!" He shouted as Chi-Chi heard the landing of the rapid reaction force their supported aerial suits landing beside her and grabbed her and blasted off, ten others laid out volumes of heated plasma rounds at the alien who was just amused at the whole spectacle. The rounds striking her but despite their near lethality to humans they did nothing to the saiyan who merely flared their ki.

"You've got spunk but I can smell how afraid you are little man." She said with an almost annoyed sigh. Shaking her head she completely ignored the weapon fire that was little more than a slight singe to her skin. Her eyes looked past them though and towards the fleeing humans carrying the woman who had sought to challenge them.

It would be wrong to let her live and so she aimed her hand up at them. "Better make this-"

The bald human appeared in front of her. Both hands raised up with his fingers spread out above his forehead. "SOLAR FLARE!" And the world around her exploded in retaliation.
