A week after the hotel is a rebuilt, Charlie decides to visit Rosie to thank her for the help of the cannibals during the extermination. With a plan set she also convinces Vaggie to come with her. Charlie mainly wants to show her the sights of the town and introduce her to the overlord but as they are making their way through the town, an immense feeling of Deja vu washes over Vaggie. She doesn't remember ever visiting this part of the pride ring in the past so this sense is confusing to say the least. In town square a shadow of the past notices their appearance and tries to investigate the familiar woman. Charlie still has some things to learn about her girlfriend's past while Vaggie would prefer to leave it behind now that her old occupation is out in the open between them. But she does know that eventually they have to talk about why exactly Vaggie fell in the first place.

Charlie had been wanting to thank the cannibal overlord in person for a while now but things kept coming up with the reconstruction of the hotel. Not to mention having her father live with them caused a lot of conflict between Lucifer and Alastor. Things have finally started to slow down now so she decides it's finally time to visit Rosie. Not only does Charlie have to thank her for the aid and the advice on her relationship with Vaggie after the trial with heaven, she also wants to introduce the overlord to the ex-Angel. Rosie is sure to want all the details about what happened after she had left that day. Maybe they can talk over some tea, Alastor always mentioned how enjoyable it is to do so whenever he went to visit his dear friend. So without wasting time, she went to find her angelic girlfriend and propose the trip to her.

It didn't take long to find Vaggie. Charlie had been told she would be manning the front of the hotel to welcome any new guests they have for the day. She's sure Vaggie is guarding the hotel at the same time. Charlie smiled at the thought of how protective her girlfriend is of herself and her dreams. Their relationship has grown stronger than ever before once both had returned from cannibal town and Carmilla's wear house. The talk with Rosie really helped Charlie understand why Vaggie didn't tell her about being an exorcist, in more ways then one. Let's just say talking wasn't the only thing their mouths did that night. And considering that everyone knew that Vaggie went to Carmilla to learn how to defend themselves against the Angel army, no one batted an eye when she limped down the stairs the next day. Or the way she winced and hissed when sitting. Or the bruises. Or the long scratch marks that may or may not have drawn blood…..look there was a lot of things that went unquestioned that day, moving on!

Charlie shook her head to clear it of the dirty (although very pleasurable) memories before making her way to the lobby. The last thing she needed was to lose all self control at the sight of her angel. Not when there's things to do later. Speaking of things to do later, Charlie saw Vaggie sitting at the new bar. She was conversing with a seemingly new patron about what to expect on their path to redemption. Charlie smiled. Ever since the news of Sir Pentious's redemption into heaven got out around hell, they've been flooded with guests. It's part of the reason they've been so busy. And while they've talked about their feelings on the situation, they haven't had the chance to talk about why Vaggie was cast out. And every time they do they get…..distracted. Charlie stood to the side and watched her angel at work with a smile. After a few seconds, Vaggie looked over to Charlie to give her a quick smile before turning back to the new patron and finishing off what she was saying. Once she was sure the sinner understood the rules and activities, she excused herself and made her way towards Charlie.

Once she was close enough Charlie pulled her in closer, wrapping her arms around the angel causing her to wrap her arms around her neck, neither of them losing the soft smile and loving eyes. They stood in the comfortable silence for a good few minutes, just breathing each other in. Vaggie finally broke the silence and asked "Did you need something Hun?" Charlie gave a small shrug. "I've just been thinking about maybe taking a trip to Cannibal town, to thank Rosie for her help. I was just wondering if you wanted to leave hotel management to Al and come with me." Vaggie hummed as she thought about it. Charlie spoke highly of the women and it would be nice to meet the one who had been there for the princess when she couldn't be but overlords put her on edge. Though she supposes that the cannibal overlord is one of the better ones. Vaggie sighed, deciding to just consider this trip an opportunity to spend some quality time with the one she loves more than anything rather than a trip to an overlord. "Alright." Charlie's smile grew wider. "We could use the break." Vaggie finished with a warm smile.

Charlie bounced on her heals while excitedly telling Vaggie about all the things she plans to show her before telling Alastor their plans. He agreed to watch over the hotel to make sure no one got too rowdy. He also asked them to send Rosie his regards and inform her that he shall see her next week on their usual time before his 7 year absence.

Charlie guided the two through the streets of Cannibal town with a bit of a pep in her step. Some of the residents turned and waved to the princess which she returned while Vaggie gave a smaller wave. To Charlie's surprise, even Susan waved to the two as they passed by……with someone's severed arm. She gave an awkward chuckle and wave in return, unsure how to feel about the gesture as a whole. They passed by many shops, houses, alleys and residents. One particular alleyway caused Vaggie to pause and stare down it. Something about the environment was oddly familiar but she couldn't quite place why. Charlie took notice of her pause and turned to her. "Everything alright?" She asked with curiosity but a slight bit of concern. Vaggie hummed in response before looking to the princes again and smiling "I'm fine, just felt a bit of deja vu for some reason." Charlie nodded as Vaggie returned to her side. She still held some concern for the Angel but decided to set it to the side unless it seemed to get worse later. Vaggie was mostly silent on their way to Rosie's Emporium, holding the Princess's hand as she continued to point out things around the town, relishing in the sound of her beautiful voice.

Roy considers himself a lucky kid. After all not many sinners can say they've come face to face with an exorcist and lived to tell tale. Even less can say they've done so while in their childhood years. Hell, Roy can say rather confidently that he might the only one to have achieved that. He's never forgotten the angel that spared him. He often finds himself wondering where the exorcist is now after seeing the brutal punishment sparing him had caused her. As impossible as it is, Roy always did regret not helping the angel after being grounded to Hell forever. He wonders if she is still alive. Hell is rough enough as it is for the average sinner who knows what would happen to a fallen angel who used to kill sinners as a job. Roy had told Rosie about what happened that day to which she promised to be on the look out for the fallen angel should they ever cross paths. After 3 years however, hope to find the angel looks bleak. That is until Roy saw Hells Princess making her way through town square. It's still a rather new sight to see the princess in town but it was a welcomed one after the entertainment she graced the town with during her last visit, he had been with his father that day and as much as he wished to participate in the fight against the exorcists after her inspiring song, but his father told him to stay home and keep the doors and windows locked in case the fight went south. Roy rolled his eyes at his father's increased protective nature after the extermination three years ago but listened nonetheless as there's nothing a 13 year old could really do to aid in a small war. However it wasn't the Princess herself that caught the boys attention, rather the company she keeps in her hands. A being in gray skin, similar tone to that of his savior, long white hair, and a seemingly missing eye given what the eye patch tells you about a person. The X on the eye patch is also a big identifier but he's not gonna admit that aloud. He wanted to run up the Angel that had saved him those three years ago, but the surprise appearance had him frozen where he stood. The Angel had been looking to the Princess, only moving her gaze as she pointed out things to her. Roy could only assume the main topic currently was the performance in the town square. By the time he regained control of his senses and start heading over towards the two visitors, both the Angel and Princess had entered Rosie's emporium. He stoped once the door closed fully as he realized why the two must've been in town for. 'They must be here to see Rosie.' He thought 'in that case I won't interrupt whatever they're meeting about.' He turned and walked to the pavilion in the middle of town square. Taking a seat on the first set, Roy decided he'd wait for them to come out before confronting the Angel.

The scene inside of Rosie's emporium is incredibly similar to sight Charlie was met with when Alastor brought her to the cannibals domain. A crowd surrounding the front desk as Rosie was talking to one of the cannibal about who knows what and looking to the side Charlie can see the assorted key chains similar to the one she had found for Vaggie.

Said Angel turned to the assorted key chains before smiling when finding the one that is currently sitting safely in her pocket. Vaggie had a tendency to carry the trinket around anywhere she went as a reminder of Charlie. She could occasionally be seen with her hand in her pocket, thumbing the object with a wide smile on her face.

Eventually their attention turned back to Rosie and waited for the woman to finish her conversation. Once the sinner walked away, she turned to the crowd, looking through the sea of sinners before stoping on Charlie. Her already wide smile grew at the sight of the princess. She made quick work weaving through the crowd, appearing before the couple with her arms out to address them. "Princess, it's good to see you and your hotel made it out alright! How've you been?" She asked putting her hands on her hips. Charlie smiled and said "It's been great! The hotels been very busy lately but I wanted to come and thank you for the help."

Rosie waved her hand dismissively "you didn't have to do that, we were glad to help." She said before turning to Vaggie. Her eyes widened a bit at the sight of the angel before leaning in close. "Oh! And who might this doll be?" Rosie asked while eyeing her up and down. Vaggie tensed a tiny bit and took a small almost unnoticeable step away from the overlord. Charlie jumped in excitement at the question. She wrapped her arm around Vaggie's back, placing her hand on her shoulder and pulled them closer together. "This is Vaggie, my girlfriend." The aforementioned woman gave the overlord a shy wave and smile similar to the one she gave to Lucifer. Rosie backed away in recognition and looked to Charlie again. "The exorcist Angel you told me about, of course!" Turning to Vaggie once again she said "It's nice to finally put a face to the title. Pardon me for my curiosity but how long have you been staying in hell for darling?" Vaggie looked at Charlie and raised a brow in thought. "It's been about 3 years now, right?" Charlie nodded. "Oh shit! That's quite a long time to keep such a big secret. But it seems as though that's not what's important anymore. Although…." Rosie trailed off bringing a hand to her chin in thought.

Charlie and Vaggie share a look before turning to the overlord once more. It was silent between the two while the woman hummed in thought. "Di-did I say something wrong?" The angel was nervous thinking that she may have upset the overlord but she quickly shook her head. "No it's not that it's just…" she sighed and looked up at the couple "One of the kids told me about an angel they saw three years ago and you kinda fit the description he gave me." Well it wasn't a lie. Rosie knew that it was the same angel the second she laid eyes on her. She told Roy to inform him if the angel ever crossed her path but never mentioned anything about hinting to knowing the woman's deeds when it happened. So why not have some fun with it. Vaggie's eyes widened at the statement while Charlie looked to Vaggie in confusion. The angel looked to Charlie, mouthing the word later to which the princess nodded and both turned back to the overlord.

Rosie smiled at the angels reaction, pleased with herself at catching her off guard, before placing a hand to her cheek and waving dismissively. "Oh I'm sure it's just a coincidence!" She then put a hand on the princess's shoulder to guide them both to a place for them to speak privately. "Come now, tell me everything that's been happening since we last spoke. Don't miss a single detail!"

The three of them would then be seen half an hour later with bright smiles on their faces as Rosie walked the couple to the door. "Thanks again for the time, we really needed this with how busy the hotel has been lately." Vaggie said. "Oh of course. Anytime you two need a break, drop by. My doors always open."

As they reached the doorway Charlie paused and turned to Rosie once more. "I almost forgot, Alastor wanted us to tell you that he'll be visiting for tea next week at the usual time." Rosie smiled and nodded as the two left hand in hand once more. As they were passing the pavilion in town square, the boy who was sitting impatiently on the steps noticed the two and perked up. They must not have seen him as they kept there pace. As fast and careful as he could, he jumped up and ran to them trying to catch. "Hey! Excuse me! Ma'am's!" He shouted to them. Charlie and Vaggie stoped and shared a look before turning to the voice. The boy stoped to catch his breath for a moment before he smile grew when he could fully see Vaggie. "Nice angel lady! It is you!" He said getting closer bouncing with excitement. "I didn't know if I'd ever see you again!" Vaggie took in the kid's appearance before being filled with recognition. "I'll be damned…gotta admit I was worried someone would target you after what happened. I hope you haven't run into any exorcists." The boy shook his head. His smile reminded plastered on his face. "Nope. Only you." "Good." Charlie watched the interaction with confusion, interest, and of love. After all who doesn't love seeing their partner handling children so well. It was heart warming beyond belief. Eventually the boy looked to the ground and twiddled his thumbs. Vaggie noticed the change in attitude and grew concerned. "Hey are you alright?" The boy nodded nervously before taking a deep breath and looked up at the angel again before asking "Do you hate me?" The angel was startled at the question. "No, why would I hate you?" She calmly asks. The boy rocked back and forth on his heels and rubbed his arm. "You got hurt because you let me go…" he muttered quietly while looking to the missing eye. Charlie almost didn't hear him, straining her ears to hear. Her confusion and concern grew as she wondered what he meant. The angel hand rose to touch just below the missing with a solemn look. "You saw that, huh?" The boy nodded and Vaggie sighed.

She had hoped he would've been gone by that point to avoid witnessing such brutality. "What's your name?" The boy tilts his head at the question but answers regardless. "Roy." "I want you to listen to me closely Roy. That day, I made the choice to tell you to run. Anything that happened to me after that is the fault of those mean exorcists. Not you. Nothing was your fault. I don't blame you for what happened to me and certainly don't hate you. Ok?" Roy nodded his head again before giving a small thank you. Vaggie smiled once more as she booped him on his nose causing him to scrunch his face and giggle with a smile returning to his face. "I'm glad you've been doing ok kid, but it's getting late. You should probably head home before your parents start to worry. I'm sure we'll meet again soon." Roy nodded his head before turning and running in the direction of his home, waving to the princess and angel as he went. Both smiled and waved back.

The walk back to the hotel was filled with silence. Both had mentally decided to talk about the interacting in the privacy of their room. Once at the hotel they went their separate ways to finish hotel duties for the rest of the day before turning in for the night. Once in their night wear and laying comfortably in bed the topic was brought up again.

"What was that kid talking about back there." Vaggie sighed and rolled onto her back. "As an exorcist I only went after adults. I ignored any children that I passed but three years ago I didn't notice that the person I was chasing was a young boy." Charlie stared at her girlfriend and listened intently. "When I noticed I told him to run." Charlie sat up at that with a question on her lips but Vaggie held up a hand to ask her to let her finish. "He listened to me and ran but another exorcist saw what I did and called in Adam. They took….drastic measures for a punishment."

Charlie's chest felt tight as she recalled the state she had first found Vaggie in. "What kind of drastic measures?" Vaggie remained silent so Charlie asked the question again. The angel sighed as she sat up as well. "I don't want to even say it. Let's just saying there's a reason I only have one eye and why I occasionally get back pain…" Charlie gasped, hands quickly finding there places on her back, between her shoulder blades, and her cheek, thumb running along the bottom of the eye patch. They stayed silent for a moment before Vaggie placed her hand against Charlie's, leaning into her touch while offering a smile and kissing the palm of her hand. "I'm fine now hun. Don't worry about." Charlie frowned. "You were hurt, I always worry when you're injured." Charlie immediately regretted her word choice as she saw her girlfriends grin turn to a smirk. "You didn't seem too worried about me last night." A blush spread across her face as she quickly said "That's a different situation!"

And just like that the mood of the room shifted. Vaggie pulled herself away from Charlie's grasp and she threw herself back in laughter. Charlie remained quiet in her flustered state until Vaggie's laughter quieted down while attempting to catch her breath. The room was once again filled with silence. "You were brutally punished for showing mercy. No one should ever have to experience that kind of thing." Charlie said softly as she ran her hand through Vaggie's hair which was now sprawled out on the bed during her laughing fit.

Vaggie took a breath and turned to her princess. "If I were sent back in time, to that day, at the exact moment I had corned Roy, I wouldn't change a thing. I never have and never will regret the choice I made that day. Telling him to run was the best decision I've ever made. You want to know why?" She grabbed Charlie's other hand as her partner watched her, waiting for her to continue. "Because I met you. I got the chance to meet the kindest girl in the universe, I grew to love her more than anything else and she returned that love tenfold. I get to wake up every morning, being greeted with your beautiful and peaceful face and I'm reminded again and again that I get to call this wonderful woman, a literal princess, my girlfriend. Nothing I had in heaven is worth giving this up. I would give anything just to be like this forever. I love you, Charlie. More than anything." At some point during her little speech, the princess had started to tear up but she still held a bright smile on her face. Vaggie sat up again and reached out to wipe the tears from the cheerful woman's face. Charlie leaned forward and pressed their foreheads together so they were now staring lovingly into each other's eyes. "I love you too. More than anything." She whispered. Vaggie smiled even wider than before.

Before either of them could even blink, the distance between became nonexistent. They were locked in a long and passionate kiss with more equally passionate kisses coming one after another. After what seemed like hours, that in reality was just 5 minutes, the two finally pause their show of affection attempting to catch their breath.

Vaggie could only stare in wonder at the demon princess. To the angel, she was the definition of pure beauty inside and out, with the biggest heart known to man, woman, child, angel, demon, sinner, and even god. What had she done to be so lucky to be loved by this goddess. She wanted to make her happy, to always see her smile, to wake up each morning next to her, to spend the rest of her after life by her side. Vaggie wanted her to-

"Marry me?"

"Yes."

A thought they both have been thinking about knowing for months. It hadn't been mentioned between them so neither knew they were on the same train for the next step of their relationship. Right now however, Vaggie hadn't even meant to say that out loud, the words spilling from her lips before her mind caught up to what she was saying. It wasn't even caught up by the time she heard the demon princess's response. And it seemed as though her mind hadn't been caught up with the situation. Once both of them had fully registered what was asked and what was answered they both pulled back, not by a lot but enough to be noticeable, their eyes wide in shock.

"Wait," they both paused "did you just say yes/ask me to marry you?" A pause again. "Yeah." They answered simultaneously with big smiles. That only lasted for a few seconds before Vaggie fully pulled away, "wait, fuck" she repositioned herself to be on one knee "I'm forgot to take a knee, and I don't even have a ring yet, I can do better!" Charlie laughed at her lover's unnecessary panic before wrapping her arms around exorcist. "You could propose to me with a ring pop and the answer would still be yes." She said with a bright smile and gleeful laugh, pulling Vaggie into yet another kiss. This one was more intense than the ones before. Before they knew it, the two had fallen back onto their bed. Charlie's arms rested next to Vaggie's head, pressing them closer together as her angelic girlfriend tried to fight for dominance over the princess. A fight she knew she was losing the moment Charlie pulled away, straddling her hips. The fallen angel noticed the horns and tail poking out of her head and lower back. One look at Charlie's expression confirmed it for her.

She won't be waking up in the morning without some new marks nor a limp for the day. In fact she wouldn't rule out the possibility that her girlfriend intended to make the true. The princess did love carrying her around when the phantom pains acted up in the past so it's safe to say that the same can be said for this situation. One lick of the lips with a servant like tongue gave Vaggie one singular thought.

'I'm in for a loooooooong night.'

She wasn't one who was going to complain about a good time though.
