A/N: KagamiPINKAgreste had an eye doctor's appointment today, so I thought I'd write this quick Shadamy fic for her.

It was a cool late winter day, and Shadow the Hedgehog was taking a walk around the South Terrace borough of Emerald City. While he usually preferred walking in more rural locales, or at the very least on one of the treadmills in the gym at Rouge the Bat's mansion, he was good with walking in urban and suburban areas as well. Besides, Amy Rose lived in this borough, and today was one of those days that he hoped he'd run into her. He didn't have any particular activity in mind that he wanted to do with her; her mere presence would do. Then, while he was walking, his Hedgehog Sense tingled. This was a special "sixth sense" that only hedgehogs possessed that alerted them to danger or other phenomena of interest, and in this case, it told him that somebody was coming for him.

"Hey Shaddy!" said a familiar voice.

Shadow turned around. "Hello Am…BWAH!"

Shadow's eyes widened, and he dropped his jaw when he saw none other than Amy, only she was wearing a pair of large-framed horn-rimmed glasses.

"Is something wrong?" asked Amy. "You seem to think there's something off."

"Amy, why are you wearing glasses?" Shadow blushed.

"Oh, I had an eye doctor's appointment today, and this stuff they put in my eyes kinda makes them go on the fritz for a bit, so I wear these as a temporary measure. Why is your face green, by the way? You're not sick, are you?"

Shadow shook his head. "No I…I'm fine. It's just…you look extremely sexy wearing glasses."

Amy giggled. "Awww! You're so sweet!"

Really, it's just…you're attractive enough, but seeing you wearing those, I…I want to act out so many sexy nerd fantasies with you."

Amy laughed and playfully shoved Shadow. "OK, there's no need to get over-excited, big boy! They're just glasses, after all!"

Shadow averted his gaze. "I know, but…whenever you change your appearance with little things like that, I…it makes me think that you're doing it for me."

Amy smiled. "Well, I can wear them more often if you like them so much!"

"Do whatever you want. Besides, personality's more important, and you have the most beautiful personality of any girl I've ever met." Shadow smiled.

"Gosh, you are just the sweetest!"

Amy wrapped her arms around Shadow and began making out with him, and he gladly followed her lead. Every time she touched him like this, he forgot all about anything that had been troubling him in the past or at the present moment, only focusing on how lucky he was to have her and how he was looking forward to spending time with her. As if this day wasn't already good enough, it was that much better. She enjoyed spending time with him as well. There had been times in the past where she'd suffered from self-esteem issues, so for him to tell her that she was beautiful or sexy or anything like that made her feel way better about herself than anything else. She couldn't ever imagine spending her life with any other man. Eventually, they broke away, though they kept their eyes locked on each other.

"Amy…would you like to take a walk with me?"

"Absolutely!"

Shadow and Amy held hands as they walked with each other, basking in each other's love.
