Episode Ignis: Ravus Final Act: The King of Tenebrae.

The Oracle spent his days reading ancient books and pondering a grand plan. After Gentiana was forced to annihilate him on the train (and failed), he would not rest until he found a way to understand the history. Occasionally, a human like him rests to regain his ability to be energetic and alerted.

On his spare time, Ignis called back and confirmed the meeting would take place in Lestallum. Explaining to the Leader of Crownsguard, Cor Leonis is arriving to the largest city. Ravus obliged with the tactician immediately.

On the important day, Ravus woke up before dawn. Early in the morning, to refresh and change his outfit, slightly sluggish from drowsiness, briefly 2 minutes. Fleuret dwells too much on history and advances in independence. His servants requested a new style. Him, wearing kingly outfit and crown, plus accessories isn't his cup of tea. The man raises in combat throughout his adolescent. Fleuret specializes both of balancing Tenebrae and Imperial rank to commandeer Niflheim for his advantage. Perhaps Ravus may share parts with Lucis if they united as one.

During his introvert time, he dives into history alone. The servants of Fleuret pestered the Oracle to conserve his next plan. Ravus commenting about it is best to share his intention and motive. His appointment he set with the advisor is today. So he declared to his people that Lucis, a possibility would determine their decision whether they agreed—shall the two nations unify and the beginning of the future.

He announced the news about the treaty and visiting Lucis. About 50 Gralean residents wanted aboard because they wished to tour Lucis. They have never been outside the continent and are willing to ride with the Oracle. The King didn't mind, but as long as they don't cause any problem. But Fleuret needed his Alba Leonis to defend the residents for unexpected encounter—an were unlikely engaged into air or ground battle.

Ravus scaled the stairs to his Assalt Craft. Parked one kilometer and engine purred in his direction. The expansive ultramarine carpet laid out for his Highness. Beautiful pottery with flowers, majority of lively green, vines ran through under the bridge, and every 15 steps was a statue of lady in robe proped the end of the stair. Leading to another turn, stairs to reach a higher ground. Ascending more than 50 steps, he spotted Gralean residents in line for clearance before on board in his ship. One of his units, the leader of Tenebrae royal guards Lyx, was processing Gralean citizens for suspicious activity or possession of lethal weapons to harm the King.

Reaching to the end of the expansive stairs, his feet planted to a flat, solid concrete floor. The dock with wide inclusive furnishing to remodel the interior. Lyx was about to process the last three guests until she noticed the Oracle rising to her leisurely. She assured her guards they must continue without her and rose to the future King, knelt to one knee, her brunette haired head lower to respectfully introduce herself.

"Your Grace, the process is almost complete. There are only a few fractions to adjust, but it will be at your command." She soberly said, affirming the actions.

"Good," Ravus replied the honorable lass and resumed, nodding as he strolled by the respectable chief. "I will mark my way there now."

"Your Highness, would you like me to accompany you?"

Hearing the request of the House Fleuret servants halted the Oracle. He turned his entire body to the kneeling trusted retainer. "Fear not, I am capable of taking care myself. I want you to protect Tenebrae without my presence as a top priority."

"Your elegance, are you certain that it is wise to travel without safeguard?" Lyx questioning the King suggestion to travel alone.

"I understand your concern, but you are required here, more than my own safety. Lives are at risk without your guidance to our soldiers." Fleuret demonstrated the leadership with strong confidence. Calm and collected, Ravus held his right hand to his chest, assuage his heart and soul of trust rest on her shoulders.

"I understand, your Grace. Safe travels to you." Lyx obeyed, remained stationary to the King.

Approximately 5 minutes passed, and after the civilians were qualified to access into Ravus Assault craft, Ravus was the last person to ascend the bridge. The bridge closed completely, sealing off fresh air, and ventilation begins to activate. During the clearance, Lyx assembled seats for passengers. Since his ship has no purpose for combat or ambush the Lucis on the road, the only purpose is to proffer rides or cargo.

Fleuret entered the cockpit, heavy footsteps of his metallic boots echoed, and he flick several panels. In an instant, the ship begins to hover. Magitek energy hugged of vivid life, red illuminating glow radiantly around the pilot room. Ravus picked up the microphone and pressed the button.

"Seat belts, we are leaving Tenebrae in two."

The ship ascends from sandstone concrete into brilliant flax colored dawn. The plaza town of Tenebrae, people waved farewell as the Oracle and Gralean residents cheered. Their friends and neighbors decide to visit Lucis or adjacent new continent to call home.

Gladio was staring intently at a familiar, tangible air of Insomnia. The cone shaped topiary and backyard is sweet and unity. His home—the residential of Amicitia. The family that serves the King of Lucis as Shield of the monarch.

The chirping birds sang, and winds of tranquility were glorious for training sessions with his friends. Gladio squinted his eyes closely, bewildered and disoriented.

What the...

He raises his right arm to use his wrist and rubs his closed eyelids to adjust his clarity—this is a dream. Before he pressed his wrist to his protected eyelids, he was completely frozen in place. He was wielding a wooden broadsword. Looking at the wooden broadsword, he wore a gray jacket. Baffled, raising his eyebrow, he was flabbergasted. Was Amicitia time traveled into his younger age?

"The hell is this?"

He took a few steps ahead into a soft, evenly trimmed grass and viewed his old home. Scrutinizing his home to the busy street, he saw a skyscraper and beautiful sunset hugged by warmth light. Is he in Insomnia? He could've sworn he and his retinue, plus Prompto, were on the road to Altissia for Noctis—

"Hey, you're alright?" A voice so familiar that Gladiolus turned around hastily.

A teenager prop in place has a wooden sword resting on his shoulder, the monotonous and neutral expression, awaiting for the Shield reply. He wore his high school outfit without the jacket. His black haired cascade by the gentle breeze. His blue gleaming eyes stared at Gladiolus flummoxed expression.

"Noct?" Gladio finally said, aghast.

"We're gonna start training or what?" The young Noctis demanded dryly.

Gladio hesitated. Eyeing his training spar wooden weapon to Noctis. He catches his breath—puzzled to even comprehend if this is a dream or fantasy illusion. Gladio glimpse the young prince again and blinked several times.

"Uh, sure." He nodded absently, ambiguous to ask the young prince, but he obliged, commencing the sparring lessons.

Gladio uses both hands to grab the hilt of his broadsword and begins his movement. Waiting for Noctis first move as he gently slides to the right. The young Prince didn't hesitate and charged blindly, releasing a battle cry. He swung his sword, and Gladio blocked the assault. Using his weight to reflect the attack, the prince stumbled briefly and stiffened his stance. Noctis was breathing heavily, his eyes deeply pugnaciouly the Shield's amber eyes.

Gladio held his stance, uncompromising the prince attack. The only objective against the shield was to overthrow him and counterattack his defensive posture. Noctis held his hilt of the sword, ready for combative once again.

"C'mon, you gotta focus." The shield firmly said, despite obfuscated the scenery.

"I am!" Noctis sounded chagrined and lunged towards Gladio. The younger prince performs flurry of attacks, and Gladio countered every attack with ease. The sound of wooden smacking each other of clanks, leaving scratches on wooden weapons. The two dancing in sync, side-stepping and deflect every attack.

But Gladio was superior and pinpointed the blind-spot of Noctis's right side. Gladio swung his blunt weapon and toppled the prince. Seizing the prince balance and Noctis' face met the grass of Amicitia yard. Noctis growled under his erratic breaths and rolled to his back. Gladio slammed his dull broadsword and punctured the grass, offering a hand to the prince.

Heaving slightly, Noctis eyed the waiting hand by Gladio and accepted the lift. Arching his back, now sitting on the grassy yard as Gladio seated himself beside him, legs crossed. Gladio had almost forgotten the sparring lesson with Noctis years ago. His training for the future King—his friend he considered him a brother.

The two sat motionless. Muted and contemplating. Glee of evening delight of street and nature alike. Noctis kicked his head back and eyeing the sunset partly cloud sky. Gladio shot a glare to his friend stilled prone body. He wondered if this was sort of a dream and the event of Altissia was an imaginary world he displayed in his mind.

"So," Gladio began, shifting the silence with his comforting voice. "What's next?"

Noctis suppressed his own stubborn approach. Taking a deep breath and exhaled. He straightened his back, cast aside his sword beside Gladio broadsword, and looked at the shield featureless face.

"You tell me, aren't you supposed to help Iggy and Prompto without me?"

What the hell is this shenanigans? Some sort of trick?

Gladio scrutinized the strange request. The irking sensations crawled underneath his jacket. Feeling heated, he slightly turned his body to Noctis. "Explain. Where the hell am I?"

Noctis simply shrugged, closing his eyes. Now staring fathomless at Gladio bemused expression. The Shield wanted to understand this fabrication of reality space he was in. But Noctis elaborated unexpectedly, cutting off the topic and adding a cryptic suggestion. "We should go back in training. Let's go to the Rock of Ravatogh."

"Rock of Ravatogh? Isn't that far from Insomnia?" Gladio dumbfounded the odd place to summon. The Shield grew tense, his body turned to the prince, eyebrow furrowed, and detected something... strange.

"Yea, go there and find the secret of the Crystal memory." Noctis nonchalantly explained, tilting his head towards the tank.

Gladio went to his knees, scooted to break personal space, and grabbed Noctis by his collar. Meeting eyes with enigmatic blue eyes, he was unfazed by the grip. "Who the hell are you?" His voice exasperated, almost nose-to-nose. The shield was not certain that this 'prince' was real or trickery. He never pushed Noctis around unless training.

Suddenly, the room begins to envelope in darkness. The pitch black spread like wild fire without warning, leaving Gladio and 'Noctis' into oblivion. Gladio immediately looked every direction 5 meters around him and back to Noctis. This time, the strange sequence transitioning his entire world, along with Noctis, he was the same prince he knew before entering the crystal.

"Noct—" He hesitated to continue as he glared deeply into Noctis brilliant blue eyes. Gladio heard footsteps reverberating and drawing every second passing by.

Noctis let out a slight grinned and huffed. The prince started to disperse into a cluster of crystalline and said to his former Shield. His voice pulsated with a new, unfamiliar voice he never made aware of. His vision consumed into darkness. What left was particles of crystalline light, transforming into a figure.

The secret lies within Eosthe Crystal power never ceased. Its independent shall unravel by the retinue, chosen by...

A rude awakening that Gladio woke up in Leville, hearing footsteps marching by through the locked door, shouting at Magitek ship incoming.Gladiolus sprouted from his bedside. Eyes squinted left and right. He realized Iris isn't present, probably awakened earlier than him. That's the first and strange.

The tank also discovered he overslept. He never considered taking long snooze, but the dream locked him from reality. Amicitia immediately leaped off of his bed, wore his Crownsguard fatigue clothing from bottom to top, and boots from the corner. His phone was blazing for a while because he noticed missed calls more than 10 times.

He picked up the phone, knowing the contact name too well. "Prompto, what's wrong?"

"Big guy! Glaives are mistaken as an enemy on Ravus ship!" Prompto gasped.

He grabbed the handle to the door and flung it wide open. The Kingsglaive assault has already begun.

Shit.

Ravus and his Assault Craft soaring above Duscae in magnificent speed. Maneuvering in the baby blue sky, Ravus examines the digital map display in the center of the table. The ship flew for hours after departure. Ravus was dialing his number to contact Gladiolus and Ignis, but there was no response.

However, his phone has no reception in the air. Flying at incredible speed with Magitek energy results in an unstable connection or interference. Ignis planned out he could arrive afternoon, where he'll return from his expedition.

"Hmm..." Ravus examined his phone and stuffed back into his hidden pocket. He rose to the intercom and pressed the button, announcing the Gralean resident they're heading to Lestallum within 10 minutes. The Oracle observed the view of EXINERIS, where they extracted meteor shards for power source.

He rendered out how it played with new allies and faces. The doubt ran his mind simply it may be with Lucians. The high commander steps his foot in Insomnia during the invasion, and discussing his appearance will impact Kingglaives. Luckily, the taxes and approval by the leader of Crownsguard demonstrate his reputation. Ravus proceeded to reach Lestallum and meet the person Cor Leonis.

Until his ship was interrupted. He heard a bump on the left side of the ship, an ear piercing, salvaging to pry the inside, a very faint voice—a human directing someone on the exterior. Fleuret knew the ship was harassed by Lucian. There was another screeching metal punctured by force. The AI began to alert the air ventilation, and the structure of the ship transpired was compromised. The Oracle makes no haste and proceeds to enter the room where passengers are secured. The Gralean residents begin to scoot farther from the dangerous rogue out of fear. He heard authorities directing each other to plan an assault.

"Hurry, Glaive!" The male glaive shouted, the hole enlarged as the second beginning to chant fire spells by her right palm. The male used his katana to increase the vulnerable spot and dismiss his blade. "We must lay waste the Imperials before drop off!"

"Yes, partner, shall eradicate before plight among children of ours!" A female glaive yelled through the pressured wind escaping the Assault ship.

Ravus spotted a small blood-orange circle slowly expanding in size. The Oracle knew what was coming and alerted the citizens.

"Unbuckle the belts to the wall now!"

The female glaive inserted her palm inside a small crack and created a devastating blast explosion, slightly ramming the ship course. Darkening gray smoke emerges from the blast, screening the room momentarily before it escapes aggressively due to compromise hole. The shattered metal debris flew by inches before hitting the ground, and Ravus shade the hot molten pieces with his Magitek arm power, protecting the shards harming people. Purple electrical pulse shield deflects at ease, bearing his stance to the unwanted guests preclude without sanction.

The male and female warped through the hole and in offensive stance. The masked duo with black classy kingsglaive uniforms. Black and silver accessories with heavy-duty materials to withstand temperature and extra padding against strong penetration.

"Vile creation! Niflheim will not conquer Lestallum in the name of Lucis! Perish you infantry of—humans?"

The female glaive battle cries through the compacted dimmed room. As the putric contaminated air that people with asthma potentially a panic attack vacuum out of the space, it was abundantly cleared the two glaives never witnessed living humans on board the assault craft after the heavy loss battling the Frostbearer. The female glaive both palms illuminated the room with fire spells enabled their peripheral vision effectively. Eyes widened and speechless, the female glaive dismissed her spell and lowered her arms were extremely disconcerted and removed their hoodie.

A male with red velvet cow lick hair, grasping a katana. The female has dark brunette and curly hair length over her shoulder, condensing her power of fire in both palms.

"Hostages?" The female glaive shouted.

Several shook their head the accusations they proclaimed. Gralean residents bundled up at the wall, afraid and trembling. Meanwhile, Ravus raised his left arm defensively, and the civilians piled up closely. The suction air ventilation escaped from the compacted room, concerning they'll skydiving hundred of kilometer on Eos surface.

But the male said otherwise and snapped his partner into a combat stance, ready to unsheathe his weapon from holster. A man with Imperial rank ourfit pique his face. "Glaive, no time to rest! A high commander in the flesh!"

The brunette haired lass ignited her spell once again and shot a threatening glare to the commander in white Imperial. Their faces snarled with hatred and murderous pose to execute the commander. Fleuret was not satisfied with Lucians' reckless action. Ignis reminded him that a few of the glaives were arriving in Lestallum without knowing the treaty was going to happen. Although the Oracle best approach was a passive convenience or any Gralean get into harm's way. The bloody contract to endanger people and eliminate the high commander is one of the special downside because of his reputation.

"Nay, you are looking at the King of Tenebrae. Restrain yourself before anyone gets hurt." The Oracle assured, offering the best alternative than violence. If he fails to convince Kingsglaive, the tragedy among civilians will significantly be inhuman. They had enough of their loss of families and friends after the seize. The Oracle overheard the AI repeatedly declared the ship been jeopardized. The more delays and unprofessional disclose without supervision, the dangers elevated to higher chance of fatality.

"Liar! You were there and used our monarch ring for your greed selfish desire, scum! You have taken over and destroyed our home!" The male retorted, his voice risen in inimical towards the Oracle. The male soldier reached for his hilt katana.

"You are correct... but fear not, I promise you I have not harmed Lucis residents, but only to arrive for the ring. My self-righteousness indeed clogged my judgment. I must plea your forgiveness and escort the survivors to safety in—"

Before the Oracle topping off his sentence, the male lunged at him with a mighty roar. He warp strike, and without any doubt, Ravus immediately held his artificial arm to grab the weapon hurled towards him. The man reappeared from ashes to the physical body. The shower of sparks flickered steel collided and pressed against each other. The Oracle altered its course to the right, but the male vanished in a blink of an eye and tossed his katana. Ravus knew their play and used his left arm to defend the belligerent Lucian.

The male retracted and threw his fist, but Ravus body acted quickly with evasive instinct. The glaive swing his silver titanium katana, Ravus raise his left arm by his motion, and sprinkle of sparks bang into each other. The female glaive was shocked, eyeing the two and unarmed residents. The female glaive knew the commander demeanor and defended himself.

"Cease your fire, glaive! The scum may overlay with the truth! The man pose no threat towards us!" The female reassured with credence, vanishing her fire spells once again.

The two countered attacks and flung back to regain their bearing, but Ravus was unfazed from offensive maneuver. The male readied his katana for another warp strike. Fleuret has an urge to unsheathe his Alba to defend himself, but it may escalate and provoke the royalty of Lucis. Fortunately, the female glaive was more reasonable than irascible boy. A kind and friendly woman to quell the aggressive boy.

Having said that, the glaives haven't cast offensive spells; the realization humans are on board, not Magitek army. The Black Mage precision was veracious as he was unarmed, and the Oracle noticed the proposition. Therefore, he cooperated that the sequence ensues his promise for retinue as alliance.

"And trick us with the false treaty they promised?! Fall of Insomnia is a monument to all your sins!" The male gravelly spat. He continued and gestured his index finger to the man. "Niflheim had taken my brother live! I will avenge his death!"

"Think again, Kaiser, we do not take lives who are unarmed!" The female lass adjured the furious Kaiser. She rose to Kaiser and rested her warm hands to his readied right hilt of his blade glare. It was frightening that it could possibly scare Ronin and win a duel. The female face implored with grief and assurance. Though Kaiser expression loosened for a second, but angers, dare not to lay his eyes away from his former enemy. Her kindness, begging to suspend his wrath and mindful the cessation.

"May I shall not slip this opportunity pass, dear, I—simply refuse..." He grimly stuttered under his shaky breath. Uncertainly, he wanted to execute the man, but his partner was strong and wise to pinpoint valid reasons not to attack.

"Glaive, there must be a reason we were summoned to Lestallum with our leaders. We should not dwell on the past." Adele appeased the irritable man.

The glaive were couples. He sought to understand he was overprotective after losing his brother and her. Enduring his obstacle to protect her, he pitied Lucians to stem more bloodied hands.

Fleuret knew he had to prove his remarkably forbearing his example on bellicose Lucian. The man only solution was to acquiesce and sort out by submittal defeat. Immediately, Ravus dismantled his belt with his Alba attached and unceremoniously hurling to the floor. His movement snapped their attention quickly to study the Oracle to pull a stunt on Lucis. He raised both arms in the air, gesturing to relinquish himself.

"I surrender." Ravus exclaimed. It's oddly strange to be overcome by Lucis, but he had no other choice. One of the Gralean residents rose nervously, eyeing the two Lucians that didn't lay off their glimpse on the commander.

"Please don't hurt the man. He saved many lives." Said a female.

"Yes, do not harm the King of Oracle. We owe him in debt. My family was spared thanks to him."

The two Lucians exchanged glances, hearing the innocents beseeching their side, they were wary of Ravus heroic appearance. The two reluctantly lowered their weapon, and Adele extinguished her fire spells by swaying her hands. Examining the bystander, their design was certainly unique from Lucis continent. Kaiser snagged his Alba into his right hand and examined the fascinating blade. He hurled the strap over his shoulder, so he liked to see the high commander defenseless.

Before Lucian determine his fate, their judgment was cut off because the alarm hit in high pitch noise, filling the room with red sirens flashing consistently. The ship began to tilt downward, and the nose of the ship began to accelerate as everyone in the room grasped a nearby firm metal bars or embraced each other.

'ATTENTION: The ship engine has been breached, losing altitudes control. All personnel must evacuate or manually perform a crash landing.' The intercom ram on repeatedly.

The passengers grew frantic upon hearing the dire announcement. Fleuret stumbled in a short duration and stationary. Refusing to make sudden movement to doubt the warriors. He monitored the concerned Lucian hurriedly peering around the room and the compacted space. The exposed wall could result in a dangerous condition. The Oracle improvised by inserting himself with agile and effective management.

"You two!" Ravus said urgently, gathering their attention with a high tone. "I must ask for your cooperation if we want to survive!"

"Why would we work together, imbecile?" Kaiser protested harshly, bearing his footing as it lost its traction on the metal ground.

"I'm the pilot, and I can alter its direction before many lives will be lost!" Yelled Ravus, somewhat galled how a nuisance the boy is losing the verbal ranting battle. "I eagerly ask your dissimilarity until we're safe on the ground—and I'll hand myself to you, as promised."

"Kaiser, the enemy is correct. We must subside our wrangle and aid the innocents." The magician elaborated calmly, holding on to Kaiser let out a resignation sighed and studied the Oracle.

Hearing fears of people screaming and pleading for safety, the male snapped his katana into particles of crystalline light. The Lucis replied in asinine remark. "Fine, but I will keep your weapon, fiend."

Ravus lowered his stiffened arms and pointed at the hole. Ravus seething restement remained as a reply to a stubborn man supervene the Oracle weapon. Regardless, he authorizes his idea without antagonism. "Freeze the hole, sealing off the air will regain its stability. Then, you must warp and use all your spells to decelerate the gravity speed."

Fleuret expected a bark in return or played by their rules, but the Lucians nodded consciously. The two dressed their face in masked hoodie and the Lucian rectified their mistake by reinforcing the large hole with blizzard. Ravus raced back to the cockpit and began pressing buttons. An emergency protocol is one of them. Balancing the loss of air ventilation and damaged Magitek engine, he seated himself, opened a two bar steering to the driver seat, and manually navigated the ship. The ship usually permits the bot or autopilot to guide, but luckily, it has installed a manual for humanity to Oracle ordered his passengers using the intercom to wear seat belts and prepare a lifetime warranty for their safety. The passenger return their seats and strapped their belts around their waists.

The Lucians completely sealed off from the outside world of crystallized ice mending, securing the ship. The two warped out of the chamber through the ice wall and tossed their weapon to pin the exterior of Ravus ship. Kaiser threw his katana, grasping his right hand and raising his left arm. Fire emanated at his palm and aimed at the bottom. Adele also punctured the outside smooth pristine surface with her claymore. Channeling their mana, the two glaives ejected flamethrower with magic.

The carrier supply petite or no boost on their end. The Oracle grasps both handles and steers upward to ascend, averting a heavy weight ship. Gralean citizen grabbed on to metal structure for their dear life. The immaculate ship program was abused by Lucian battery. He can only pray if he can crash landing a vast clear field. But Fleuret saw he was fast approaching Lestallum, the major city, and thousands of lives resides, an indeed troublesome situation he was in.

As the Oracle moved across heaven and earth, the Lucians dwindled their magic. Sweats pouring out from pores of their forehead sinking into dense fabric of hoodies. The altitudes made little significance and undergo the carrier integrity will be short-lived. Kaiser and Adele mana shrink in size, shredded their mana out of their body. They either flee and abandoned innocents on their mistake or die trying.

Neither was the case because a squad of Lucian appraisal out of nowhere to assist the ship dangerous condition. Four glaives warp-strike on array of opening under the ship, using sword, daggers, pole arm, and a throwing star. Boxing the rogue Lucians on each diagonal of square, surrounding them in the center. Clinging on to their weapon, raising one hand to cast fire spells, and two uses blizzard to encourage the wind speed.

"Identity yourself." One of the tall male glaive demanded, his austere voice slice through the intense wind. His primary weapon was a pole arm, scrutinizing the two Lucians. He was the highest rank based on his rank.

"If you failed to comply, then we will dictate Codename: Glass." The male with dagger declared, his voice deep and dry. Perhaps an elder.

"Codename Glass? Elaborate." Kaiser stepped in. Glaives never reveal their initials to policy or identity.

The squad of Glaives didn't reply, but Adele noticed their behavior beginning to surface of offensive manuever. One with dagger held tightly directly at them, ready for assault. The other three harness their fire and thunder spell ominously.

"We must cooperate," Adele whispered. "I fear it may be the end of us."

"I am Kaiser Citrome." The red-haired affirmed his specifications as he was heaving through his hoodie of exhaustion. He took Adele word and introduced himself. Additional support interludes the two worn-out glaives.

"Adele Nahilia." The female glaive responded after Kaiser.

"And you are?" Kaiser suspiciously asked, ended his rest, and resumed his fire spell.

"Classified, leader of the Crownsguard sent us. You will be disciplined after we save the ship on your actions." The stringent of his voice risen to the glaives.

"You have caused a catastrophe on Lestallum. The ship is heading course to civilization." The male with sword sounded young for a glaive.

"I... understand. Atonement... we will accept." Adele sullenly agreed, her drained mana took a roll on her shortly. How transparent they harass the ship and cause many lives for revenge.

"Punish me, not her. I was the one assaulting the ship. I was only protecting—" Kaiser stepped in bravely, snarling at the party of Glaives. The discern she was involved in, and he was the ruthless one.

"No time to prompt, all we got now!" The female party sounded deeper voice, cutting off the glaive demands, who was gripping the throwing star. She pushed her mana, and blizzard inflated incredibly. The two Lucians ended their break and resumed their magic. The amount of mana augmented hoisted the ship barely.

The ship course is beginning to drift at his desire. Although difficult to helm the damaged engine, Fleuret leaned back his driver seat to angle the entire carrier. Soon after the clear angle it was heading, it registered that he would likely crash into Lestallum. His eyes forward through the glass, and lights of red sirens blinded the room. Ravus spotted an ice wall forming on the street and the building to cushion the ship. The signals were distinctively meant for Ravus, and he diverted the ship.

The assault carrier abruptly lost its altitudes, and momentum was crucial to direct a safe landing. Ravus vulgar under his breath, the worst scenario with the compromised ship with living passengers. The ship narrowly misses the steep curve wall and slams on to—

The ship has crashed...

x~~~~~x

"Go, go! Tell everyone to evacuate from the north building!" A masculine voice screeched.

The Lestallum residents obeyed and flee the large, 5-story building close to the street. The muscular man was aiding the innocents to a safe area. There were top units escorting people to safe zones because the Assault craft is on a verge to impact.

"Create an ice wall; soften the landing! Glaives, immediately two thick walls with all your might!"

With no arguments, the fellow glaives warp-strike and unleashed blizzard on the building and two thick ice walls on the street. High as they could, the glaives role was to protect people, although a few parties discourage the idea and attack the ship instead, but the man tremendously disagreed. With strong validation from leaders of Crownsguard, all the units of Lucis not enthusiastically obliged.

"Sir, are you certain it's wise to spare the Imperial ship when we had an advantage to finish it off?" The male glaive queries the leader.

The man shrugged off the topic by raising his hand towards the glaive and sternly replied. He flung his index finger to the wall, lengthened halfway. "Marshall and I announced this is not an enemy, I know you just got here yesterday, but things change."

The tattoo man lifted his index finger and directed the protector of Lucis. The sheen double ice wall with more than 10 glaives executing their skill. "Make an ice barrier, now, don't waste any more time!"

"Aye, sir." The man warped after the man declaration.

The man eyeing the chaos unfolded in the clear sky. Screaming of residents escaping the front of Lestallum and pushing further into the core. The man hustled to the scene, scanning the area from pedestrians. Lucian warp-strike with infants, children, adults, and pets urgently. While doing so, he saw a man descending the stairs behind the building, aiding a woman.

"Cor! Is that everyone?"

Cor guides the woman out of danger and rises to the volunteer. "Yes, what's the status, Amicitia?"

"Less than a minute!" Gladio hissed, glaring intently to the fire, blaring with haze of smoke. The ship drew closer to the point about less than 1 kilometer.

"Glaives! Fall back!" Cor instructed fiercely.

The entire humanity fled from the scene. Dodging into streets and tunnels with teleports. Screaming of drastic perilous episode has reached its end. Gladio and Cor evaded into the alley with the density of residents shunning the inner sanctum. A glaive immediately installed a shield on one entrance, preventing any debris or sharp edges that would inflict an injury.

The ship crashes, mutilating the lookout area, crushing the stairs close to the gas station, and into the street. Its weight completely deleted the small flowerbed with palm trees, pry aside from its usual spot. Scrapping the street forcefully in the impact. Hitting the first thick ice, instantaneously turn into blocks of abstract ice.

The second wall was swiftly eradicated, but resulting a slight effect on the impact. Debris flew across and litter around the street. Chunks of concrete leaped a mile into the central plaza and left side of the road where the gas station was located. Bouncing off the glaive barrier, dusts and sharp shards of rock deflected.

Viewing the second wall collapse on their quick works, the glaives that hidden from the tunnels and street warped each side, unleashing blizzard to at least merge the force of the ship collision to dereliction streets. In split seconds, the ice refused to find the ground attached. The squad and rogue glaives that aboard and assist the ship warped out of harm before impact. Assisting the glaive on the street and petrified the collisions. With all the units cooperating, the ship was begins o form a capsule of ice. Effectively, the ship grew sluggish on its speed as glaives fortified the ice in shared mana.

The last wall, which Kingsglaive put a ton of effort, contacted the ship. Cracks emerge from the center plate and expand. Ignoring the pointy rocks poked or slightly shred their attire, the glaive won't give up easily. Their faces were well protected by their hoodies.

Finally, the horsepower given by Lucian units milked all their mana, and the ship finally came to a halt before demolishing the third layer of ice. The stillness and goosebumps underneath their attire of temperature dropping, the glaives were equally fatigue. Several glaives collapse to the ground, breathing heavily of relief and victory. Cheering simultaneously and triumph in their voices. Glaives that remained on their feet gestured their arms in successful outcome.

The Lucian saved Lestallum.

Civilians began to pour out of their hiding place and collect the chaotic scenery. The destruction of the left side of the plaza was covert with silt and large boulders. Luckily, the ship crashed on the left side of the building. The coughing fit lasted seconds as they stepped into the plaza.

Gladio and Cor emerged from the alleyway, witnessing the entire ship was a dome of ice. Marshall hustled to the ship to see the damage on the outside and inside while Gladio saw one of the alleyways was blocked by a debris. He sprinted to aid the trapped civilians. A few active glaives served under protection of Cor, the Immortal gestured the icy capsule.

"Dissolve the ice this section, now! Find any survivors!"

The glaive nodded and held both palms of their hand and cast fire spells, melting a small area that Cor instructed. Heating up the translucent ice, melting into liquid of pure water and now contaminated reaching the filthy ground. After removing a small amount, one glaive warped beside the glaive currently at work, which is 90% completed.

"Let me create an opening." Kaiser volunteered, permission from the Immortal.

Cor wasn't aware of the glaive grave mistake. Underneath his hoodie was hidden, but Cor agreed to permit him. Kaiser snapped his weapon from armiger, enhanced his katana with firaga infused blade. He unsheathed his blade and cross-slash clean X mark the spot. Gripping the hilt of his blade, he performed a devastating cut square around the X. The highest Fahrenheit blade slice through without struggling.

Kaiser withdrew, vanishing his primary and stepped back cautiously. Cor caught a suspicious eye on the glaive, assisting him. The strap on his back was a blade familiar to his memory. The metal structure that Kaiser penetrated fell with a loud clack. Charcoal black smoke escaping the hole, escaping into the atmosphere. Cor rise to the individual, his tone odiously leveled. The man thought the glaive kept it as a trophy. "That blade... you caused this?"

Kaiser quickly glanced at the Immortal and struck in frightful expression. He knelt to one knee, head low he acquiesce to. "I—I have, S–Sir." He faltered, trembling through his hoodie.

"Did you eliminate the high commander?" Cor obscene the role of Kingsglave endangered people, and the last royal bloodline of the Oracle.

"No, sir." The male felt nauseous if his actions winding up civilians and the commander a low prosperity to survive was his blunder.

"I was also involved, Marshall." Adele rushing in, mimic the pose Kaiser to show veneration to their leader. Kaiser cracks an eyelid to watch someone dear to him refused to shun in the shadow. "I caused the explosion, creating an opening for us to invade."

Gladio arrived momentarily after hearing the glaives beg-pardoned. The expression Gladio display was trepidation of glaives' repulsive may caused the treaty ended shortly, and officially tagged murderer of the Oracle. Then, the sworn shield cursed under his breath. His hands curled into a ball of fists, eyeing the wrecked of Ravus ship. He stood beside Cor, in dismay of the Oracle ship on the ground. There goes the peace treaty and Ravus trying to redeem himself.

"I apologize... It was an impulse. I was fulfilling my job to protect Lucis from Imperials. I was... not certain to believe." Kaiser treason his accomplishment, a full clarity of realization he gravely taken his own risk.

"And I accept your forgiveness."

The voice can be heard behind the smokescreen. All eyes fallen to the source, footsteps of metal structure echoed, and a man became opaque. Ravus presented himself behind the smog and approached silently towards the Immortal.

The Lucians slipped into a defensive stance. Ravus steps over the chunks of metal and comes to a halt, scanning each glaives glaring for bloody contract. Over the desiccated ground, above the building where glaives shot a disgusting impertinent glare, making the Oracle nerves froze in place. As contrasted with a handful of Lucians in provision, the man reveals hiding from the shadow—a lap dog for Niflheim after the brutal history has stepped out into the light. And Ravus couldn't blame them.

It became apparent that Fleuret' eyes spot amidst the intolerable ill-desposed judgment was a familiar face—a Retainer of Noctis, shield of the king, Gladiolus Amicitia rise without fear and deflated the indisputable claims by gesturing his right hand freely. He openly proffers the Oracle a handshake.

"'Sup Ravus, sorry about my juniors harassed you intentionally. I was alerted a second later that it happened."

"I appreciated the frigid welcoming, greetings, Gladio. It's been a while." Ravus was calm and gentle, accepting the handshake to unnerve the tensity glare. With a subtle and bitter humor, he slightly grinned. Reaching out right arm and one fluent handshake.

In a source of amazement, the two pleasantly give a welcoming. The astonishment among Glaives leave them breathless. A group of glaives dismissed their weapon into armiger to have an audience of their leader converse with high commander.

Ravus and Gladio loosened their grips and eyed to Cor. Ravus assumes this man Gladio beside is the one Ignis suggested to initiate before jumping into reclamation. He also spotted Kaiser peek his head to Ravus, bewildered he survived the crash.

In his prone kneeling pose, the Oracle speak. "May I have my weapon back?"

"Uh–yes." He hesitantly stuttered, rising to his feet, sling the Alba over his shoulder, and present an understanding Oracle misdemeanor.

"My thanks."

"My apologies... the civilians, I—"

"Do not fret," Ravus interrupted after reclaiming his signature weapon and buckled to his left hip. He resumed in assuage tone, resting his left Magitek arm to his shoulder. "We all fail. We all make mistake, it is what makes us human, glaive."

Kaiser returned the weapon and helped Adele to her feet, stepping away from Marshall. They know punishment will atonement of their behavior. Cor, however, loathed the Lucians. He turned to the glaive behind him.

"Turn them in. They will be penalized until further notice."

Kaiser and Adele movement was restricted as four glaives warped behind them and apprehended them. The two reluctantly obeyed without resisting and strolled through the plaza in shame. Ravus respite the scene to his understanding, Lucis does not take kindly on ruthless and rogue glaives into their own agenda. They had a protocol against Niflheim troops and airship, and soldiers to protect their home was fairly adequate. The soldiers guided them in place beside the right building, far from Cor, Gladiolus, and Ravus. They can have a good perspective, at least.

Perhaps changing outfit to a formal and elegant Tenebrae traditional would fit his different opinion of others...

Stubborn as he is, the Oracle preferred to keep his title.

As Ravus witnessed the glaives entr'acte, the Immortal rose to the Oracle a couple steps ahead, plucking Ravus' attention. "You are Cor Leonis, correct?" Ravus quickly rolled in his response.

Cor nodded. "Ravus Nox Fleuret. The officials of Noctis retainer conferred with me."

The glaives grew wary, slowly gazing intensely to the Oracle. Their skeptical and speculative throw all the glaives off guard except the two glaives because Ravus fell to one knee and head low in regretful of acknowledgment of an offense. Cor was examined the man kneeling to him, signing an exculpated submission. It succinctly covered all the salient point of the case as Ravus supplicated his plead.

"I must have you absolved apols for all the crimes I have committed. For Lucis—your home. My self-righteousness separated us a barrier between our nation when we, as Oracle, should've supported your future king. I must ask for your forgiveness." Ravus announced, his voice sounding sincere and oppressed.

Gladio flings his eye in multiple directions to verify the glaives' astonishment. After digesting extremely important enterprises, the high commander asked for forgiveness. A few disapproved and shook their head, but Gladio frowned upon those petty glaives. They hoped the Immortal despised the man instead.

Cor was never hostile unless provoked, so he declared a significant change that proves glaives otherwise. "You were the one who guided Prince Noctis to the Crystal. I'm fully sharpened my doubts, and you have done more than I could ask for."

"Yes." Ravus responded. He didn't move from his knee leveled posture.

The Immortal spoke in high level his voice can offer in truth that literally surprised the entire glaive in dumbfonded glare. What occurred the Shield of the King, Marshall, he increased his pitched tone palpable purposely. They begin murmuring, and whispers in the wind carry to fill the gap between the three. Amicitia overheard the commotion rumbling across the plaza of Lestallum.

"No way, he took our king to the crystal?"

"Bullcrap, the Imperial commander help our king for ascension. It's more like a trap."

"I don't believe his actions, but Marshall, he concurred..."

"Quiet, glaives!" Gladio snapped. "Cut your yap and show some respect."

Ravus was muted for a short span of time, and Cor light blue eyes examined the man. "You have my gratitude, Blood of the Oracle. Please, rise and let me tell you face to face."

Fleuret straightened his feature and met Marshall's face and nodded once for his appraisal.

"Thank you for helping Prince Noctis to reclaim our throne." Cor said, he stretched his right hand to Ravus.

Ravus glued his eyes at the man Ignis suggested to initiate in both parties to fulfill the promise. He was truly impressed that not all people are cold-hearten wretched killers. He accepted the opportunity and grasped the captain of the Crownsguard, and shook hands with one sweep movement.

"It's my promise, as Oracle to aid the future king, for my sister wishes. On to the matter, Niflheim is no longer a threat, and as King of Tenebrae, I would like to corroborate a new beginning. A peace treaty."

Cor released his grip from the high commander fulfillment and glared into Ravus odd colored eyes. He was calm and impressed to hear from him. He arched his back, bowing in respect to the monarch of Tenebrae. His arm draped around his chest, avoiding eye contact and staring at the debris. He exchanges glances with the Oracle after bowing once. "Yes, I was told by Ignis and Gladiolus. The lack of credence, I will accept your proposal, King Ravus, for everything that you have done. My eyes did not deceive me one bit."

"Thank you." Ravus was relieved to hear the approval of Lucis captain. He directed his face to Gladio, nodding at him to appreciate the tank, which he responded to a nod.

"No," Cor interjected. "I should give you my utmost gratitude—for saving my units from danger."

The entire glaives knelt and lower their heads. Knowing they are representing the King of Tenebrae, saving their top retinue of Noctis, they show resolute grateful to the Oracle. Gladio knelt as well, encouraging and salvation together. The future is bright—untold road lies ahead of rectification.

Fleuret was astounded how Cor accepted his offer. With no hesitation or doubt, the man is in accordance. Either the retainer of Noctis shared his vigilant actions affected Lucis as the three flags around the crowds or Lucis have secretly always been on Fleuret side because of his sister after the broken treaty. His actions took many lives associated with Niflheim neglected into valuable elements of promulgated assets in good intention. Well, there was no downside of this, Ravus was truly blessed to have a pure and loving sister.

The residents of Lestallum were greatly surprised by two nations in one unforgettable event. The unity and freedom—prosperity and a humble beginning of a new era. The residents cheered and encore the large group. Whistling and hurray across the plaza, the glaives propelled themselves and viewed the concept of worlds.

"Then we are on the same page." Ravus publicized his demeanor.

Cor and Gladio reeled their back straight and noticed Ravus turned his head to the hole that Kaiser created a gaping hole, and he announced a clearance.

"It's safe—You can come out."

Emerging from the darkness was a family, clutching tightly on their children. There was another. And another. An elder adult. Children tentatively rise slowly, seeing the outside world and a large town they have never seen, but pictures of it.

"Wow!" The boy squeaked.

An elder man exited the hole and bowed to the Oracle. "Thank you, my lad, your electrical shield saved us all..."

Presupposes at the dire last second trial, Ravus fled to the compacted room where Gralean civilians buckled and squeezed their life by embracing another. His quick thinking that he installed an electric shield channeling from his Magitek arm. Creating an expansive shield, sealing all residents from impact and debris. The user will not be harmed, but behind the barrier might be electrocuted in small numbers, which is low.

In his favor, it was successful.

Ravus managed to manipulate his full potential with his artificial arm once again. Sparing the harm from civilians, they were unscathed—free from scratches or bruises. New and refined, evolving from combat to defensive state. He understands why the laser of Deathclaw overthrown him because Ignis stabbed his arm after their quarrels. He unintentionally destroyed partial parts to quell his frenzy.

Ravus was no fool; the useful comrade shared between Lucis and him was heavily planned out by Fleuret in categorized order. He is no ordinary person. The man describes a high commander, after all. A genius behind the field, efficient and flawless on combat.

He compiled a variety of indexes by different prime of shared content. Deciphering carefully before he departed, he spent his hours before sleeping. He speculated if his henchman Lyx, the captain and royal guard, acquainted a personal guard, it'll be unpleasant. She will defensively protect Ravus, showing hostile if evoked. The Oracle attempted to advise his ideal in proposition hidden. Knowing the Lucian scattered around Eos, becoming as one as news fan out in days, the Oracle knew his ship would likely be a bullseye.

Howbeit, he organized the entire plan decisively. Although, Gralean civilians are hooked to ride with Ravus on their own accord. It was coming along as he thought it'll provide evidence. Yet, he was concerned about their safety, not a pawn to his course of action. Besides, Lyx reinforced the comforting area for Gralean residents and removed any hazardous objects.

Fleuret nodded, endow with under his protection. No matter the cost.

Cor blinked, Ravus was bringing people inside his ship? His glaives ambushed the ship and endangering people? He menacingly looks at Kaiser and Adele afar, intended by a squad of Lucians. "Your incompetent nearly caused many lives?"

Knowing they made a serious error. They didn't comment, instead yielding to their knees. But Ravus reassured Marshall. "They're alive. No one was hurt."

Kaiser decided to question the glaive that intending them. "I'd like to know Codename: Glass that you're referring to."

The glaive that escorted the two replied calmly. "It is declared by the captain is a failsafe of traitorous Lucians. It is called Glaives Slayer."

Kaiser and Adele eyes widen in shock. Captain, as in Immortal, establishes a new rule that could harm another Lucian. In the fall of Insomnia, he knew too well for dangerous Lucians with endowment of power. Lucians are supposed to protect the monarch with their lives, not destroying their home and abuse his Highness power. He was glad he listened to Adele before it'll be the end of them.

Cor scrutinize the ditto, certainly the two deserve discipline highly stung their reckless nature, but Ravus commented they were forgiven. Beside, the glaives saved them from impact. He nodded lucidity of harebrained units, willing to dismiss the situation. Although the damage was beyond measurable on Lestallum and his ship.

"Glaives!" Cor suddenly outburst his tone towards Lucians, turning his back to the Oracle and ultimately broadcasting the visuals and hearings. Additionally, civilians of Lucis aspects the outcome, but he'll render them out for valid purposes. He presented dissemination information to his people and civilians combined.

"As you witness your very own eyes, the King of Tenebrae are now under protection of us. We, as Kingsglaive, safeguard not only our future king but also lend a help to our new alliance—Bloodline of the Oracle."

From the distance, they heard an incoming car, and the engine was familiar to Gladio and Cor from the tunnel. Their eyes fell to the source, a glimpse of Regalia vastly approaching and came to a halt. Coming to a stop, the break abruptly cut off due to a large damaged building. A familiar face exited hurriedly from the driver seat, hustling to the three important individuals.

The man gasped how devastating the crash is. Luckily, it was bountifully clear that the residents were safe in numbers of Lucians. Ravus turned his direction to the gentlemen, widely bereft in speech. The Lucians murmured, recollecting the statement Cor have mutually embellished the establishment.

"Is that the appointment of Noctis?" One glaive initiated.

"Oh dear, Marshall! Gladio!" Ignis shouted.

Ignis rose to the three, eye contact on each for any injury. It seems that in order they're safe and unharmed. The tactician always pardoned into his concern of others dearly.

"Are you all right?" Ignis questioned, catching his bearing as he trailed across the scattered debris. Surveillance the friend of his, Immortal, Fleuret, the thawing ship, and a colossal collision with the building.

"Just in time Iggy." Gladio replied, nodding. Cor nodded silently to Ignis. A glint of smile was feeble to notice. He was thrilled that Ignis and Gladio accuracy was correct. There will be changes in the future—it was all thanks to the retinue the passing Regis assigned entrusted the best.

Ravus strolled in a few steps, entering Ignis' perspective and analyzing the boy he cooperated in Altissia. He is a key to the future and discovers secret together—what lies ahead is unknown. The Oracle stood firmly, wordless to interpret.

But Ignis was amiable and gestured his right arm slowly, reaching for a handshake as well. "Ravus, alas, we meet again."

"Indeed." Ravus concurred, he accepted the offer to a familiar Lucis. A simple one swung movement and released their grip afterward.

"I pray we recommence our blades once again to oppose the new threat together." Ignis said, smiling.

United as one, marvelous and fruitful, the outstanding conclusion has come to an end. The returning committee reunited with two largest nations, deemed to purge the scourge from the star. Fleuret was anticipated to walk upon the star, thanks to Lucis, especially the undying soul of his sister.

Not only did he decide for his own profit, but the rational output to coexist with the youngest lads of Lucis. In such accomplishment—the authentic talented retinue, the final dream, his beloved sibling happiness. Ravus was aware Lunafreya would never rest until her calling was fulfilled, but it turned the tide after the alternative route was embarked.

Ravus hoped the alliance with Lucis, keenly on Retainer of Noctis, would suffice against a new threat together. No more lives will be lost by the hands of Niflheim nor the Astral, The Great One. The new journey awaits, and Ravus nods, bowing to the Lucis captains, who blazoned his promise to his amended alliance.

"Acknowledged." Ravus asseverated, grinning.

Ravus Nox Fleuret joined the Party. (Guest)

End of Act.

A/N- That's a wrap. Now the story will be focused back on the boys, and I promise you it'll get interesting. Plus casual open world that we ALL love the bros. Ravus was really fun to write ngl. He doesn't get the attention or know his personality. But I do know he's older than the boys and mature, to say the least. The guy has more than 10k words each chapter, sheesh. Luckily, it came to an end, and we will be hopping back to the boys and him, woo! I'm not sure how much people cared for him, I see him as a great character. Freaking Final Fantasy Versus, he was an antagonist, and they just ruined him generally. Anyway, bye.
