"I heard Natsu has a girlfriend!" Macao announced to his drinking buddies, taking another sip of beer. "Y-you're joking right?!" Wakaba exclaimed in shock. "Not at all! They say she has majestic hair and skin as white as snow!" The man replied, gesturing his hands. His friend Wakaba pushed him in a joking manner. "You're too stupid, do you think someone like our Natsu could have a girlfriend?" "Why couldn't he?" Their friend Cana chimed in as she filled her glass. "He's a bit of an airhead but he's nice, athletic and above all he would do anything for someone dear to him." The two men looked at her as if she was the crazy one. "You know, he's cute, it's normal that some girls might notice him." She added sheepishly, ignoring the blush on her cheeks and drinking eagerly from the glass. Wakaba shrugged disinterestedly. "Nonsense." A discussion made by such noisy people certainly couldn't have gone unheard by one of the best friends of the protagonist of those rumors, sitting on a table not too far from them.

"Natsu has a girlfriend!? Yet I haven't noticed anything different about him..." the blondy girl Lucy bit her lip worriedly, pondering the situation. "Now that I think about it, has Natsu ever shown himself interested in any girl in a romantic way? Who could it be? Let's see in our guild...well, there's Erza, Lisanna, Cana, Juvia, Wendy, Mira, Levy, Kinana, Evergreen, Laki..." She shook her head. "THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM, HOW COULD I EVER FIND OUT?!...Of course, why didn't I think of it before?" Lucy took one of her trusty keys and summoned a stellar spirit, Virgo. A young woman with pink hair adorned with a white peak, a passive look, dressed as a french maid and with handcuffs with broken chains on her slender wrists. "Do you want to punish me princess?" she asked eagerly. "NOTHING OF ALL THAT!" an embarrassed Lucy quickly replied. "I would like you to spy on Natsu." "...Why?" the other asked shyly. "Well, I heard that Natsu is seeing someone. I just want to know who she is, I'm afraid she could be someone who wants to hurt him. You have to find out his identity! Obviously I'll give you a hand." The maid bowed respectfully and then disappeared from her sight. "How strange, she didn't insist on punishing her."

Lucy prowled stealthy in the centers of Magnola, attracting much more attention than she would have hoped for. She was very lucky, within half an hour she could hear Natsu's loud voice talking to someone. Lucy hid behind a corner not too far from Natsu and his lover, close enough to hear their conversation. "What is it that scares you?" a worried Natsu asked, crossing his arms over his chest. "The princess... I'm afraid she might get angry about this. I feel so guilty, I'm afraid of betraying her trust..." The girl who was talking to him was her Virgo! Lucy had to make a huge effort to contain her astonishment. "You don't have to worry, I'm sure Lucy would understand. You know she loves you as much as I love you...well, maybe I love you more!" he said with his usual goofy smile, pulling the crying girl closer to his muscled chest. "I'm here to support you." he told her, gently stroking her hair. After a while she wiped away her tears and raised her face to look into his beautiful hazel eyes. "I love you." she told him softly, standing on tiptoe to kiss him.

"I didn't think she was such a sentimental girl..." Lucy thought as she saw her making a fuss like that.

"But what should I do now?" Virgo asked him, still slightly worried. "You should tell hher the truth and well now, yeah I mean you could 'investigate' my house and well, we could, you know..." he looked around awkwardly and whispered something to her that Lucy couldn't hear. Virgo's face turned bright red. "N-NATSU!" She laughed sheepishly, giving him a light slap on his arm. She looked around smiling like Lucy had never seen before, and then kissed him on the cheek. "I'm in!" "Then it's settled!" The boy picked her up like a bride and ran away, leaping from one roof to another in Magnolia.

Virgo's fears were unfounded, that evening as was to be expected Lucy neither punished her nor got angry with her and they spent the whole time chatting and gossiping as friends.
