When he finally reaches his bedroom, he's faced with a surprise visitor, and an even more surprising display of vulnerability from the person he least expects, leading to a long and sleepless night of strained friendship.

Third fic in the 'Kelpie' AU, sequel to The Cuckoo. Wilson may have survived his bout with cancer by way of half a liver from Cuddy and House's medical genius, but he knows there's a good chance his reprieve won't last forever, so he is determined to make proper arrangements for his son's future. My first fanfic about House universe. Not much medical terms because I don't know anything about that. I love Huddy, but I wanted to explore a story between House and O/C. Rated M for language and sex scenes.

Things begin to change though after a routine medical examination, where he is tested for a disease he couldn't possibly have. Or, could he? Chase's "perfect" life may not be so perfect after all.

There's a thunderstorm outside her room, her floor lurches. Somehow she can't help but think about the uncanny similarity between her physical and emotional position. All because of him. Huddy Angst. First fiction here, please be kind.

Set post House, M.D. Season 5. My take on what House Season 6 might be like if I were a show writer. In a way, the scenes are based on the play, "A Man For All Seasons." I will be examining House at different times of the year as he recovers.
