Episode 2 : Wondercolts Forever . Part 5 , Accepting Help .

It had been a month of work, and Sunset had finally managed to recover the blue prints for the inter-dimensional ship... which would take Celestia 3 years to build. Better to focus on repairing the Disk.

Rose groaned, looking behind her, to find Luna standing in the school's Lab. Whenever Rose felt distressed, Luna appeared to offer comfort... which she sucked at.

Luna didn't really understand mortals. To the point she only accepted those that comprehend the fae... So naturally, Rose regretted the doctor's reverse logic lessons.

"What amazing bit of Wisdom have you come to offer," Rose rolled her eyes.

"I've come because your ready to accept help," Luna informed. Putting effort into speaking in a way a mortal could comprehend. Even if Rose understood reverse logic. It was sometimes hard for her to decipher.

"Not from you!" Rose snapped.

"Obviously," Luna nodded.

That caused Rose to blink in surprise. Then Susan peaked out from behind her master's legs. "My race of Gallifryian, were taught inter-dimensional physics, in primary school. I might not be as good as my grandfather, at Xeno Technology, but I could help."

Rose would have asked why he didn't offer earlier, but was pretty sure Luna would say "Because you wouldn't have accepted." Which Rose had to grudgingly admit... was very likely, given- "Let me guess," Rose glared up at Luna. "You'll only let Susan help, if I let you talk with me."

Luna had been repeatedly attempting to get Rose to open up. Even offering her "Treats" of fairy Food... which Rose was ashamed to say, caused overwhelming blissful sensations in her. The purple lily's were the most common "treat", and they tasted like pure happiness. Rose became overwhelmed whenever she saw them, and greedily devoured the whole thing, as Luna pet her...

Although Luna refused to give her more then one every few days. As apparently they were like dog bones, and not good to eat as more then an occasional snack.

The first treat had been a golden apple... which Rose was willing to sell her soul, to get more of. But Luna disregarded this, insisting Rose would "Change in a terrible manner" if she ate more then one of those, every few decades...

Just looking at that thing, caused Rose to lose all control. She devoured that sodding apple, in a truly savage display... eating the core and even the stem... Nothing else had mattered, outside that apple...

Fairy food really was far too dangerous. It was downright terrifying, she didn't even have enough self control to refuse them. Rose would greedily eat anything offered... with Luna petting her head, until she was done...

At which point Rose always ran away. Feeling ashamed, embarrassed, and even scared.

Thankfully, Luna viewed herself as "a responsible pet owner". Limiting the number of "Treats" she provided.

Speaking of treats, Luna was grinning like someone whose dog just learned to sit on command. "You probably shouldn't keep impressing me, with your cleverness, if you wish me to lose interest in you."

"I won't pretend to be stupid for anyone." Rose glared. She was a proper champion, as Celestia's students called her. She refused to be underestimated by anyone... never again would people dismiss her as a "Dumb Blonde".

"All I ask is an hour a day, of your time. And Smartholomew will give you unlimited assistance."

Rose groaned, rubbing her forehead. "Fine!" She was getting desperate. In a month, their only progress was learning their backup plan would take 3 years.

Susan smiled, skipping over, and waving her hand over the device... instantly repairing everything. At Rose's gape. Susan smiled, "My grandfather might not approve of magic. But I find it quite useful. But we aren't done. Still need to upgrade it's hardware, to work with all Cosmic laws. Otherwise it will just fry itself the moment you leave. and then you'll be trapped in the void without a transport."

Rose sighed, glad Susan explained that, before she registered she could leave. Breaking through the barrier would just fry the device again. She needed to upgrade... which could still take months of work.

Luna merely nodded then turned to leave. "You girls have fun."

"I'm a boy now!!!" Susan yelled.

"And you pull it off very well." Luna condescendingly dismissed.

Once Luna left, more to be flippant, Rose asked. "So why can't Celestia just snap her fingers, and create a dimension hopping Ship." As she suspected Celestia just wanted Rose to have more time with Luna.

Sunset rolled her eyes. Not having the patience to deal with ignorance, in even the slightest degree... which was in part, why she got so frustrated when she, herself, didn't know something.

Thankfully Susan explained, the Chimera-like being, enjoying explaining things. And wasn't as rude about it as they were in their youth.

"All magically conjured objects share a signature with the one who conjured them. And fae can't enter another's dimension, unless invited or summoned. So nothing Celestia wills into existence, can actually go into most realms.

"Celestia will have to import the resourses. Which will take awhile, then her humans will have to put them together. As She can't get involved.

"Honestly, she'd have better luck with the Dimension Canon, but needs to find a way for it not to hurt her."

Rose didn't know what to stay... as that actually sounded possible... in a bizarre, "that's so stupid it has to be true," kinda way.
