Rose, Sunny, and now Susan, worked diligently on the device. Introducing Rose, to knew theories of inter dimensional travel, which her world never conceived of... should she be worried she was beginning to think of "Pete's World" as her own?

The Main Universe, of every Omni-Verse, is where all cosmoses stem from. A lone universe, with no multiverse... which acts as the brain of the Omni-Verse.
Where all universes are self aware, they are more like aspects of the Main universe's consciousness. Just as mortals are connected to each of their interdimensional counterparts.
There are only 42 Omni-verses, in existence. With each being made up of 42 cosmoses, stemming from their own Main Universe. Further separated into 42 multiverses.
Where each multiverse, has their own starting point, known as their "Prime" Universe. Which are supported by "Canon" universes, acting as fixed points, on a multiversal scale.
Each multiverse contains a different number of dimensions. With the smallest recorded multiverse, being only 7 universes. While the largest are truly infinite.
Each Cosmos, is governed over by a different pantheon of Cosmic Forces. Each self aware, in their own right. And the source for an aspect of nature, or behavior.
While each world has their own deities. Which are usually mortals, that unlocked their 'Divine Ki', granting them longevity. Whom facilitate an aspect of nature, over their world. Where each world, has dozens of deities, per cosmic force. That work in cooperation, with deities of different aspects. Rarely interacting with deities of their own aspect.
Various religious myths have evolved from mortals observing these unions.
Above deities is the Kami, whom looks after the entire solar system. Whom is, more often then not, the creator of life in that solar system. Often shaping worlds, and guiding evolution.
Sometimes, the more experienced Kami will govern an entire 'Mega System'. Which is made of multiple solar systems, orbiting the same point. Usually a colossal sized star or black hole... but sometimes a properly constructed structure. Such as a massive space station, or even a Dyson Sphere.
Where Deities are mortals, with Divine Ki, Kami have stepped above that. Becoming creatures of living consciousness alone, without even energy sustaining them. Although they usually start as Deities, it's possible for a mortal to learn to immediately step over the "Deity" role.
Then the universe is guided by the various "Divine Spirits". Whom act as the guiding Forces of their universe's direct cosmic forces. Entities that always appear in pairs. Such as The gods of Destruction, and the Supreme Kai of creation. Such as the Lord of the dead, whom Shepards all Shinigami and their Reapers. And the Spirit of Life.
Each of these Spirits rule over their own layer of Subspace, which acts as the fundamental organs, within the universe.
Each of whom claim their own mortal champions. Whom they train for divine roles. The souls of these great heroes, get frequently reincarnated. Until they finally unlock their Divine Ki, and start slowly moving up the chain of command. Often training in the afterlife, in between reincarnations, to help them on this journey.
Then the Grand Kai, over sees the Divine Spirits. Acting as the cosmic balance of them all... for their universe, at least.
Where 'God' is the consciousness of the universe itself. A living organism, that acts as a singular Cell in their Omniverse. Where multiverses are organs. And Cosmoses body parts.
Just as, for each individual universe; Galaxies are tissues, Celestial bodies are cells (worlds, moons, asteroids, to nebulas.) , and lifeforms are nothing more then bacteria. Something that can be either helpful or detrimental to the body. While gods are white blood cells, with their champions being antibodies.
Even every level of higher being, has their own servants. Which act as bacteria on a multiverse level. These are immortal entities, such as; Ogres, Celestials (AKA "angels"), Demons, or Monsters. Beings of energy and consciousness, with their physical body merely a solid shell they can survive without.
Above all these things, is the Grand Supreme Kai. Whom over looks a multiverse. Protecting the union of dimensions, inhibiting a singular Leyline of the Cosmos.
With the Cosmos, itself, being alive... and all it's multiverses being governed by the Cosmic Forces that sustain it.
"Luna gets around this, by contacting mortals in the dream realm. A neutral place, where she can make deals, so people will let her in.
"Luna actually came to my dimension, through me, which is what turned me part fae, as I had a God pass into me, and burst into my universe... The experience usually kills the gateway. But Luna keeps their soul, and reincarnates them into her own dream realm. Where they live their ideal life for all eternity.
"I was very careful to make sure none of that would happen to me... I wanted actual change for Gallifrey."
Rose frowned, "... that doesn't sound very benevolent."
Susan shrugged. "Informed concent. Luna can't create the gateway, without the person knowing exactly what they are agreeing to. It only takes one suicidally depressed person, so desperate for a better life they'd accept an illusion.
"Luna asked me to let her in, When I was a measly 102 years old. But due to my deal, she couldn't physically enter my universe, until granting my boon... to shape the real Gallifrey, into my ideal home.
"She influenced history, by bending luck, despite not being able to directly interfere. She had enough presence to play by Cosmic laws.
"Then, at my naming ceremony... I looked into the rift ... where Luna looked back at me... entering me... and bursting out of me.
"Luna suspected it would cause me to regenerate, instead of die... and even suspected her magic, phasing through me, would turn me into a fae. As that's what happens to all gateways, that survive the process.
"What she didn't anticipate, was me becoming aware of my previous life. But all GallifreyIan's are aware of changes to History, especially their own history.
Susan chuckled, "She also didn't suspect, Rassillion would throw a planet wide celebration, at her arrival. Too bad I was too busy, recovering from regeneration, and My fae upgrade, to go to the feast. I would have loved to see Pran-Mother's face, at a banquet in her honor...
"Every Gallifreyian remembers the old world, and are grateful to Luna for our new lives. We also, don't worship her. Understanding Gods aren't mystical entities. We are grateful, but not in a state of fearful awe... Luna, loves us for that.
"So it's only natural she's taken a few Gallifreyians, as mates. Impregnating them psychically. Which we are more comfortable with.
"Scholars believe, the only acceptable way for Time Lord's to get pregnant, was caused by Luna's influence. But we did that, in my old life, as well. Long before we were aware of Luna. It is more likely, Luna breeds with us, in a way we find acceptable. Then us bending to her mindset."
"Sometimes, clans will have a 'Mother' psychically impregnated by the Time Lords of that clan. A slither of Soul, of their clansmen who earned their nobility. The child will be more parasite, then baby, as it leaches off the mother's magic, and won't even exist inside a womb. Birth is more like a Xenomorph, bursting out of it's victim's chess, causing regeneration, in the mother.
"This child will be 'born' with the collective knowledge, and experiences, of all the Clan's Time Lords. The perfect general to guide them
"I was born with ALL Time Lord memories, of every clan... I was supposed to be the High General, the one in charge of all other Generals... with the Master having the honor of being my mother. This was all true, of my first life, although the Master had more of a hand, in actually raising me, in my new life... with the Doctor, now in my head, as a recognized Time Lord."
