TW- Continued talk about Ron's assault. There is a part where Ron is thinking about what happened. I wrote it as I think he would think BUT it's not how I think and it's not really how he feels, it's just him trying to work out things in his head. I by in no way think that women can't SA men.

Note- Also, I have to moderate reviews from Guests because there is someone spamming some sick things in reviews. Because of that there was only one other review but it was someone who just read the summery and decided to put down the fic without reading any of it. So I didn't approve that. If you don't like the story and review what you've read, I will approve that. I don't need everyone to like it. I don't need everyone just to say positive things. But I do need if you're going to write a review criticizing the story, you at least need to read some of it. Just don't review because you're not a Ron fan, unless you read at least some of the story, then more power to you and it will get approved. Sorry, it just bothered me. I am FINE with people telling me what they like or don't like but please at least read some of it before bashing it just on premise. Hope you enjoy this chapter.

It was quiet and that's what he wanted. For the last few days everyone had been over to try and talk him into coming to the Burrow. He had plans that days ago he was going to move back there. That was until he found out about what Lavender did.

Lavender was dead and she died a hero. She died fighting with Harry and the rest. But Ron hated her and wanted people to know what a despicable person she was. He had never loved her, but he did like her. She was nice and seemed to really care for him.

Now he found out that she had been lying to him from the beginning. Somethings did start to make sense though. She was really trying to get him to have sex with her, she must have already found out she was pregnant.

Before he got with Lavender, he thought Hermione came onto him, and they slept together. She had said that they shouldn't talk about it afterwards. He thought it was odd, but he'd been in love with her for years. Before he even knew it was love that he felt. Half the time he was putting his foot in his mouth with her. It was also probably the reason he liked arguing with her so much. Being the youngest boy in such a large family he was forgotten about sometimes. Hermione and Harry never forgot him.

But it hadn't been Hermione he slept with the first time; it had been Lavender. Then Lavender got together with him and never even thought about telling him the truth. If he had actually had sex with her, he probably never would have realized what she had done and assumed Rose was from when they were together.

It was funny, the reason he didn't sleep with Lavender was because of her reputation. Not because he was disgusted with it or anything, it was just a lot of expectations he had to live up to and he knew the first time he was a bumbling mess. He should have realized it then, "Hermione" hadn't been shy or anything. When he had sex with Hermione, the real Hermione she hadn't been skilled or calm. She had been nervous and needed reassurance. He had never been accused of being smart but even he should have seen something was off there.

Now he had two children, and one was by a woman he loathed with every fiber of his being. He didn't want to take it out on the girl, but he didn't know what to do. Hermione's child, he wanted to be a father to but Lavender's just the thought of being her father made him sick. It wasn't her fault and in his head he knew that, but he couldn't make himself love her.

Ron thought that being tortured and abused for a year and a half was as bad as it was going to get. At least Ol' Barty was simplistic in his torture of Ron. A hex here, slicing his skin there, having Ron's hair grow out so he could rip it from his head. Barty was inventive with his "games" as he liked to call them, but they all were very straightforward.

Since Hermione told him about the children and they worked out what happened, Ron had been ignoring everyone. Percy came the first night on Hermione's request, but Ron didn't talk to him. Then Bill, Charlie, Fred, George and even Ginny tried to talk to him. It wasn't like this was something that was taught at Hogwarts. Monday Double Potions, Tuesday being tricked into having sex with a girl you barely know only for her to start dating you afterwords.

Hermione told Percy that he had been raped but he's a bloke, blokes can't be raped by girls…can they? It was too embarrassing to even talk about, the shame of what Lavender did to him a big part of it but there was also something else. He had always thought he lost his virginity to Hermione, now he finds out he didn't and not only that, but it was to someone he didn't chose to sleep with.

Then there was the shame he felt about what happened to Hermione. She didn't give permission for her body to be used. To be seen by him or anyone else. She probably hated him, and she was in her right. Every good memory from either time was ruined.

Maybe it would be better if he just left, so Hermione wouldn't have to see him anymore. He could get a job far away and send her money for the kids. What would they want with a useless, broken dad anyway?

"RON!"

Ron left his bedroom at Percy's and walked into the living room. George was standing there with two little ones. A red-haired girl and a strawberry blond-haired boy. He saw the pictures Hermione brought to him a few days ago but seeing them he felt a pang. Never had he wanted kids when he was still a teenager, but he never thought he would be the type not to be there for them. His dad was a great dad, even with all his faults.

"What's going on?" Ron asked.

"Look, I promised I would watch the kids for Hermione, but Fred is overwhelmed at the shop. I need to go and straighten everything out. There's no one else. Can you watch them? Just until Percy gets back?"

"I don't think that's a good idea. The healer-

"Said that you aren't a danger to anyone anymore. Please Ron, just this once."

"Alright. Percy should be back in an hour or so."

"Ta, really." George sat the girl toddler down first, then the boy. The girl stood on her feet and started wandering around, but the boy just sat on the floor chewing on his fist. "I just fed them so they should be good until Perce gets back."

George left, leaving Ron with two babies he didn't know. He never took care of babies before. He was only a year older than Ginny so he didn't have the experience his brothers did.

"Hi," he said.

The girl tilted her head slightly to the right while looking at him. She didn't look anything like Lavender. She looked like Ginny did when she was little.

What did he agree to?

"You're positive they are safe?" Hermione asked, pacing the Burrow.

The whole family was there, just in case something happened. George had to floo to the shop but then he flooed back to the Burrow. The twins had closed the shop for today. Arthur didn't go into the Ministry, neither did Percy. They were just waiting with bated breath for what would happen.

She didn't like the idea but was overruled. She almost didn't let Hugo go but worried Ron would figure out what they were doing if it was just Rose.

It had been Bill's idea. If Ron was going to be able to be a father to Rose, they would know now. If he doesn't take care of her or does the bare minimum then they know not to try and foster a relationship yet. It was a sink or swim moment for Ron. Hermione had talked to his healer, thankfully Ron had given permission for the healer to disclose things to her about him. The healer said that the Fever was gone, he still had issues from the torture, but his mind was clear. She was still worried that he might hurt the kids, but she knew something had to happen.

"I would never risk my niece and nephew," Bill said.

Hermione just wanted to go to Percy's and make sure the kids were alright. After finding out about how Rose came to be, it was hard. She didn't know exactly what would happen when a woman got pregnant while under Polyjuice potion. The healer put an end to some of her fears, reminding her conception doesn't work like that. The Polyjuice potion only lasted an hour. There wasn't even enough time for the sperm to reach the egg by the time it wore off.

So Rose was Lavender and Ron's daughter. One day when she was old enough they would have to tell Rose, but it wouldn't be for a very long time. She didn't ask for any of this, and it wasn't her fault. Hermione had spoken to the Browns. They had been horrified to find out what Lavender had done. At first they didn't believe it until Parvati had confirmed it.

Parvati admitted to making the potion because Lavender wanted to see if Ron liked her. The plan was supposed to be that Lavender would go as Hermione just to ask Ron who he liked. Somewhere along the way, Lavender decided to have sex with him.

Hermione had the Browns give up any rights to Rose, they did because they didn't want anyone in the wizarding community knowing what their daughter did.

If Ron decides he can't be a father to Rose, Hermione would adopt her. She had already spoken to the head of the Placement of Orphaned Underage Witches and Wizards. She would be allowed because she had Rose's sibling.

"Anybody an Animagus?" Mrs. Weasley asked suddenly, she looked worried just like Hermione and probably everyone else.

Hermione would think she would know if one of them were, but her children were a secretive group. If anyone was an Animagus she thought it would be one of the twins, but her jaw dropped when Percy slowly raised his hand.

"You're an Animagus, Perce?" Charlie asked.

"What are you?" Ginny asked excitedly. She would be going back to Hogwarts soon to start her last year.

"Show us," Fred said.

"Fine, but if you wanted to know because you want me to snoop on Ron, you're going to be out of luck. I'm kind of hard to miss."

Hermione found herself excited to see what Percy was too. She had no idea he was an Animagus.

Percy stood up and with the grace that Hermione had seen with McGonagall, he shifted.

"Oh, you're so beautiful," Mrs. Weasley said, hesitantly holding her hand out to her middle son.

Standing there now perched on the edge of a chair was Percy in the form of a beautiful African Grey Parrot. He was a beautiful grey except his red tail feathers.

"Wow, Perce, that's really cool," George said.

"Idiot," Percy said in his parrot form.

"That's why you picked an African Grey isn't it. So, you can talk?" Bill said, his eyes lighting up.

"Duh," Parrot Percy said.

It was ingenious. Not being able to communicate while in your Animagus form is a big reason it's not more common that and it's dead hard to do.

Percy shifted back and smiled. "That's actually only half the reason I chose an African Grey."

"What's the other reason, son?" Mr. Weasley asked.

Percy looked torn but finally sat back down and took a deep breath. "I've been seeing someone."

"Kingsley," everyone in the room said.

"Wait. How do you all know?" Percy demanded.

"You're not exactly a master spy, Percy," Harry said.

"I heard it from Perkins that you sneak out of the Minister's office every night at the same time," Mr. Weasley said.

"Percy Ignatius Weasley…in the ministry? I'm horrified, I will never be able to show my face at the Witch's League again," Mrs. Weasley ranted, her face reddening.

The Floo chose that moment to flash and Ron with Rose in one arm and Hugo in the other came out. Hermione had been worried the first few times her children were taken through the Floo.

"Ron, what great timing, we all just…got home," Mrs. Weasley said, the lie was so bad.

Ron didn't say anything but walked over to Hermione and handed her Hugo. But he kept Rose in his arms.

"I get what you did, and I know why you did it. I want a relationship with her, but I can't do it by myself. I can't be solely responsible for her, at least not yet. There are a lot of things I'm going to have to work out in my head and how she came to be is a big one. I was able to kill Barty for all the bad he did to me. While I would never have killed Lavender, what she did was inexcusable. And I never got to confront her, and I'll never have that closure like I do with Barty. So, give me time and I'll keep trying."

"Oh, Ronnie," Mrs. Weasley said, standing and rushing over to Ron. When she hugged him she sort of squished Rose in between them.

"Mum, you're squishing her," Ron said, stepping back. Rose just giggled and for right now, just now everything was alright.

If only they knew what was coming at them.
