A/N: I hope you like this idea! Also I am currently working a a big project (okay maybe not that big but still big) and it might take a bit! So please wait, and in the meantime if you have any small one-shot requests I'd be more then happy to do it!

Today was the day! Today was the day Buck had to go into Station 118 for the first time looking like this! How would his boyfriend react? How would his soon-to-be brother-in-law react? His captain? His friend?

This was already so embarrassing! Never in his life did he think he would have to need them…I mean would they affect his job? There's a 50/50 chance…

"Maddie please? Can't I just call in sick? And spend the day with Jee? Please?" Buck sounded whiny, and super desperate to do anything other then face them.

"No Buck" Maddie laughed at him, "You look absolutely adorable in them!"

"This isn't fair…" He mumbled and it only made Maddie laugh more.

"Any Other day I would've been completely fine with you coming over. But right now, you need to go back to work. And you look cute and a little nerdy." Maddie laughs.

"This isn't fair…you're not the one that needs glasses…"

"True, but it'll be good for you."

Buck sighs a little, "But-"

"No, no buts, if they make fun of you in a mean way I'll come down and talk to them. Now get off the phone with me and go to work." Maddie chuckles.

Buck groans and sighs, "fine…love you sis"

"Love you too Bucky" she smiles and hangs up.

Buck sighs and puts his phone away. 'Let's get this done and over with' he thinks to himself.

He carefully walked into the station and quickly walked into the locker room. Thankfully no one was in there so he changed into his uniform.

He looked in the mirror and readjusted his glasses…

"I look stupid…" he mumbled to himself.

He sighed and slowly made his way up the stairs.

"Hey, Bobby, where's Buck? He's never late." Hen asks looking up from her breakfast.

"Oh, he said he was gonna be a bit late today, so he should be here soon. Something came up." Bobby said, after finishing his food.

"Mhmm…he didn't even tell me that.." Eddie mumbled.

"Calm your protective ass down Eddie. I'm sure he's fine." Chimney laughed.

The others laughed with him.

They all heard footsteps coming up the stairs slowly.

"Who's that-" Bobby started and saw Buck. "Well isn't this a surprise?" He chuckled.

Bucks breathing hitches as everyone's eyes looked at him.

"Looking good Buckaroo" Hen says smiling with a chuckle.

"So that's why you're late, Maddie said something was gonna change." Chimney laughs, "you look good though."

Eddie's eyes widened, and there was a light blush on his face. "Y-you, uh- you look good."

Bobby laughed and patted the seat next to him, "Come on and eat."

Buck walked over and sat down, "Thanks."

"Now you just look adorable," Hen said with a laugh.

"That's what Maddie said!" Buck said.

Everyone laughed.

After they finished eating the alarm went off.

"Alright come on" Bobby said and all of them stood up.

~While on Call~

When they had gotten to the scene, it was a hiker that had tripped and rolled down a hill and couldn't move their ankle without it hurting.

"Alright, Chimney and Hen you look to the right, probie and Buck you look on the right, and Diaz you're with me, we're going straight. Everyone got it?" Bobby instructed.

Everyone nodded and said "Got it Cap" and went where they were supposed to.

"Hey Buck, you look good in your new glasses" Ravi commented after shouting out the girl's name to find her.

"Thanks, that means a lot." Buck smiled and called for the girl.

Ravi nodded and smiled, "KELLY?" He called for the girl.

Buck calling right after.

A minute later they heard Eddie and Bobby had called them over the radio saying they found her.

They quickly made their way over to help in any way they could.

"Hey guys," Chim said, while making a tourniquet for the ankle.

"Your ankle is broken, and you got a few minor cuts from your fall, but other then that you should make a full recovery after the hospital." Hen said smiling.

"Good, because I hate hiking." Kelly said, sighing.

They all helped lift her onto the gurney, "Did you know the first ever hike dates back to 125 AD when Hadrian, a Roman Emperor undertook the activity and embarked on a journey towards Mount Etna in Sicily." Buck said, smiling while pushing the cart.

Eddie smiled at his boyfriend at how nerdy he looked and sounded at the moment.

"Well, aren't you cute and smart?" Kelly said, winking up at Buck.

Buck chuckled a little, "Sorry ma'am I'm happily taken."

"Damn." She sighed.

Eddie was obviously jealous but just rolled his eyes.

They loaded her into the ambulance and they all went back into the firetruck. "That's actually a really interesting fact, Buck. When did you learn that?" Bobby asked.

Buck smiled, "Christapher asked about hiking the other day for facts. And I didn't know any so we spent an hour or two looking up facts about trails." Buck laughed a little.

Eddie smiled, "Well now you not only sound nerdy, you look nerdy." Eddie teases.

Buck laughs a little, "Do you like them though? The glasses, not the facts."

"Yes, and I love the facts." Eddie choked out a laugh.

"I think the facts are a non-negotiable thing with Buck." Bobby said with a laugh.

"I like all the facts you say Buck, I find them interesting." Ravi said smiling.

"Good 'cause Cap is right, they're non-negotiable. What you do with the random information is on you though." Buck said with a laugh.

The others laughed along with him.

~When they get back~

When they got back from the call they all went back upstairs to relax.

"How long have you known about needing glasses?" Hen asked, leaning on the counter.

"Only about a week… honestly I was completely surprised that I needed glasses, because no one else in my family needed them." Buck shrugged and laughed a bit.

"Are they permanent?" Chim asked, while getting a cup of coffee.

"No idea, they just said it's a 50/50 chance that they could be permanent." Buck sighs and continues to do the dishes. "Hey Chim, can you make me a cup of coffee too?"

"Yeah," he said, grabbing another cup.

"How did you not tell me or Chris? Honestly Chris is gonna be excited" Eddie laughs.

"You think?" Buck laughs.

"Well you certainly do look good in them." Bobby commented.

"Who looks good in what?" Athena's voice echoed throughout the station.

"Hey 'Thina," Bobby said, chuckling.

"What's goin on- well I guess I was late to the party." She laughs and walks over to give Buck a hug. "You look good, baby." She smiles softly.

Buck gives her a hug back and smiles, "thanks 'Thina." And let's go of the hug.

"Mhmm, you look adorable in them,"

"Why does everyone say that?!" Buck asked, looking at them.

Everyone laughed.

"Because it's true baby" Eddie smiled, and walked up to his boyfriend and gave him a hug.

Buck smiled softly, and let his insecurities go.

"Thanks.."

"Mhmm."
