Since Amity's poisoning, Luz has taken her safety more seriously than ever. She improved Eda's list by adding examples of meals that could potentially harm her girlfriend. Except for the traumatizing experience from the other night, Clawthorne still had her adjustment to the Demon Realm food in mind so she was more than sympathetic.
Anxious about meeting Tommy and his so-called friends, they have once again focused on their tasks around the house. Amity was not noticing the passage of time too focused on the restoration of Noceda's motorcycle and while Luz was happy to give her space, she also focused on working on her anxiety, finally sorting out her mother's bedroom.
Luz was on her way to the garage with a surprise for Amity when she realized that the workshop was erupting with loud music that she recognized. The human carefully walked in, hoping to not startle her girlfriend. The witch was sitting on a low, wooden stool by the side of the two-wheeled, black vehicle.
Amity was tightening a bolt of the engine with her mittens-covered hands while she rocked her upper body to the rhythm of the rock music. Her ears were twitching at the changes in the melody line and concentration. Luz smiled at the lavender-haired engineer who was dressed in grey overalls with the upper part tied around her hips. The grease-covered, white boxer shirt complimented the heavy, black, safety boots rhythmically stomping along with the bass of the percussion.
"Didn't take you for a Metallica fan," Luz said with a chuckle, making Amity scream in surprise, dropping the ratchet with a loud clang.
"FUCK!" Amity exclaimed, placing a hand on her chest while she took off her father's goggles with the other one, placing them on her forehead, "Don't scare me like that…" She added with a gulp, facing the brunette, and with a small spell circle, she turned off the radio. Luz's smile faded.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," The human said, walking over to her girlfriend, kneeling in front of the witch, and crushing her smaller body in a tight hug.
"Ugh, Luz! You'll get grease on your clothes," She purred in a hug but did not let go of the warmth that Clawthorne provided.
"I can always change, don't complain."
"I'm not saying anything," The witch purred louder, closing her eyes, slanting her ears, and relaxing.
"So Metallica, huh?" Luz asked after a longer silence. Amity giggled, pulled away, and smiled sheepishly, Clawthorne sat on the floor cross-legged, watching the witch blushing delicately.
"Yeah… It's helping me concentrate. I found those cassettes in the cabinet over there. Cassettes, do I pronounce it correctly?" The lavender-haired woman pointed toward the wall obscured by the car.
"Cassettes?!" Luz exclaimed, shocking the witch who immediately shrank in fear.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know…"
"No, no, no, you didn't do anything wrong," Luz said with a warm smile and took hold of the pale hands, "It's just that cassettes are, like, ancient. Also, you pronounce it perfectly. But people stopped using them, I don't know, twenty years ago!" She explained and was surprised by Amity's smug smile.
"And exactly how old are you?" Luz blinked, shocked by the question.
"Oh, okay. I got your point," She laughed, "So you have my father's music taste. And you fixed his bike…"
"Well, apparently there wasn't much to fix. It took me longer to understand how everything works. Then I just needed to replace the filters, gaskets, lube everything…" She paused when she noticed Luz's expression, "It's really not that complicated, compared to my father's Abomatons," Amity said, dismissing herself, smiling for the first time in years when she thought about her father, "What?" She asked blushing heavily when she noticed the brunette's enamored gaze.
"So it seems that it is ready for a test drive," Luz guessed and the witch hummed with a nod in confirmation, "Then I hope you'll like what I've got for you," She added with a wide, fanged smile, and got up to strut out of the garage.
"What do you mean? Luz?" The witch yelled behind the human but before she could do anything else, barely getting up to her feet, Luz returned with a big box in her hands.
"Ta daaa!" The brunette said with a joy Amity never heard before, smiling widely at the bright expression.
"What is it?" The witch asked reluctantly. Suddenly she smirked and looked at her girlfriend, "Luz? What's in the box? What's in the box?!" She yelled in fake distress, quoting the movie Luz showed her the other day.
"I'm going to regret showing you this movie…"
"Just kidding," Amity chuckled, lifting her hands defensively, "But seriously, what's in the box," She added, her expression getting more serious.
"Why don't you open it and find out," Luz said, gesturing toward the package, encouraging her girlfriend.
Amity could not lie, she was extremely excited about the gift. The sole fact of receiving something just because Luz wanted to, without any ulterior motive, was something new and strange to the witch. Yet, her point still stood. New and strange was fine as long as it was with Clawthorne.
Amity knelt in front of the cardboard box and opened it carefully. She removed some styrofoam and dug toward the main content. The human practically bounced with the energy of a toddler, making the witch chuckle and shake her head with disbelief.
"What a Dork," She thought and then her mouth fell in shock.
Amity took out a black, full-face, helmet with dark purple stripe on the side and no chin strap. The witch pushed the button and the helmet opened revealing the delicate cushions on the inside.
"No way, Luz!" She exclaimed with excitement when she realized what her girlfriend got her, "I just read about them! Titan, that's so expensive!" She exclaimed and Luz just smiled at her.
"Well, in this Realm I have money, Blight, so I want nothing less than what's the best for your safety," The brunette said with such amount of care seeping from her voice that Amity almost cracked, "Keep going, that's not everything," She added and the witch closed the helmet, put it carefully aside, and fetched other parts of her gift.
Luz got her a motorcycle jacket with matching trousers and boots. It would not be anything out of the ordinary if not for the fact that Amity immediately fell in love with it. The smell of the leather, the sound of the hobnails, and the way it made a perfect composition with the helmet and, by the extent, with the motorcycle as well. Luz indeed knew how to get a perfect gift.
"L-Luz…" The witch whispered with a trembling voice. She looked up at her girlfriend with teary eyes, and twitching ears. She could not believe her luck.
"Oh, no. Amity, sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry," Luz walked over to the witch and knelt next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"You Dork…" The witch chuckled, "These are tears of joy," She explained and hugged Clawthorne, "I never got any presents, and with you… It's just so strange," She added and Luz pecked her head before pulling away.
"Well, I love you, Amity," The human replied and smiled, "And I love giving you presents. Especially if those gifts will make you safer," She added and the witch smiled.
"Does that mean you want to go for a ride with me?" Amity smirked mischievously, showing off her fangs while her eyes sparked with enthusiasm.
"W-what?!" Luz squicked in surprise, "R-ride? With you?!"
"Don't tell me, Clawthorne, you don't want to go with me…" Amity leaned in, still smiling mischievously, "Hug me while I drive you…"
"Crazy! Gah! You're driving me crazy!" Luz exclaimed, absolutely flustered, and flushed with a blush, feeling the heat rising in her body.
"To the lake, Luz. I wanted to say 'drive you to the lake'," Amity continued to tease, watching the human pull her bangs and gulp nervously.
"Yeah, right, Blight…" Luz murmured, looking away sheepishly while Amity giggled at the way she could fluster her usually confident girlfriend.
"Come on, Luz," The witch said, helping the brunette up, "It's not like I said that the lake isn't going to be the only wet body there…"
"Lalalalala! Not listening!" Luz shut her ears and left the garage while Amity followed to get changed.
"Is that a 'no'?"
"I never said that," Luz confirmed when they walked into the house.
Luz waited patiently for Amity to roll out the motorcycle from the garage while she fiddled with the jacket she found in the basement. When she heard the witch grab the keys, she looked up. The brunette's lips parted in shock before curling up in a small smile, realizing how incredibly lucky she was to call that cotton candy-haired goddess her girlfriend.
"Pretty…" She whispered eyeing Amity. From the fluffy mane of lavender hair, through her curvy hips, to her heavy boots.
"Like what you see, Clawthorne?" The witch asked teasingly while she put on the choker with a Concealment Stone that complimented her whole image perfectly and obscured her Demonic features. Luz nodded eagerly, unable to say anything else, "You don't look half bad yourself," Amity purred, pulling the human toward herself, and helping her close the jacket, "There," She added with a soft smile, enjoying the blush that crept onto the brunette's face, "This suits you well."
"Um…" Luz stuttered, "I forgot to put them in the box," She added, handing Amity a pair of leather gloves.
"Oh, wow… Thank you, Luz," The witch whispered and was shocked to realize they fit perfectly, "I don't know how you got my size so perfectly but I'm not going to question that," She added, making the human laugh, "Okay, are you ready?" She asked and once Luz nodded Amity faced the vehicle.
The witch straddled the motorcycle, pulled up the kickstand, and turned on the ignition. Once she made sure the vehicle was in neutral gear, she turned the key even further, and the engine roared loudly, making the lavender-haired woman smile widely in pride and satisfaction.
Luz watched her girlfriend from the side with awe. If she did not know any better, she would think Amity had been doing this for years. She seemed so comfortable and natural in her movements it made Luz wonder what else did she not know about her girlfriend.
"Are you going to keep staring or will you join me?" Amity asked mockingly and put on her helmet, obscuring her face. Luz blushed when she realized how she must have been gawking and quickly hopped onto the passenger seat, "One more thing before we go," The brunette was worried about the tone of the witch's voice, "This is a matter of your safety so once on the road keep close to me but when we'll be breaking put your hands on the gas tank, okay?" She asked, guiding Luz's hands from her stomach to the gas tank in the presentation of the desired behavior.
"Yeap, totally get it," Amity chuckled, hearing Luz's squeak, knowing how arousing this must have been for her girlfriend. She did not blame her though. She knew the past two weeks had been busy for both of them and it started showing.
"Alright then," The witch said and leaned forward, placing her hands on the throttle and the clutch, "Off we go!" She exclaimed with exhilaration, smoothly stepping onto the gear pedal, and driving away with no hiccup.
Luz held tightly onto her girlfriend. The adrenaline, exhilaration, fear, and joy, created a dangerous combination, making her recall her first time flying on Owlbert. Her heart pounded against her chest and it took a few more minutes for the brunette to finally calm down and relax.
"Are you okay, Luz?" Amity asked when they stopped at the red light. She could feel her girlfriend trembling.
"Y-yeah… It's just so different to flying," Luz managed to choke out, "How do you know how to drive it, though?" She asked and the witch giggled.
"I watched a lot of MewTube videos and it's just…" The witch hesitated, "Whenever I assemble something, I can see the parts moving. When I squeeze the clutch, I see the gear plates disconnect from the engine, and when I change the gears, I see them pop into the right place… It's just something I did a lot with my dad. He always told me that once you fix something it becomes a part of you," She explained, feeling a bit uneasy, "I don't know if that makes any sense…"
"It makes perfect sense," Luz confirmed and from her tone, Amity recognized a warm loving smile.
The lights changed and they sped away from Gravesfield and into the forest-surrounded road. Luz enjoyed the way they worked together, bodies flushed closely, taking together every turn as if they were one.
It was not long before they started to slow down. Amity took a turn into the forest road and within a few more minutes they stopped by the lake. The witch turned off the engine, let the motorcycle rest on the stand, and she took off her helmet, taking in the view.
"Titan, it's so beautiful…" Amity whispered astounded with the green trees reflecting in the pure, blueish water.
"I'm glad you like it," Luz whispered into the illusion of a round ear, and smiled when she felt the flutter of the real, pointy one on her cheek, "Would you like to take a walk and have a closer look?" She asked letting go of her girlfriend's waist.
"That would be amazing," Amity confirmed, hopped off the motorcycle, and opened her jacket to cool herself a bit. Luz took in the view of the witch and smiled widely. It was such a strange change from the way they met all those months ago, "Something on your mind?" The lavender-haired woman asked teasingly with a slight smirk.
"Yeah," Luz returned the expression, "I just thought about the long way we walked together," She explained and Amity arched her brow in question. The brunette walked over to the witch, brushed the lavender hair off her face, and smiled warmly, "When we met, you were so closed off, afraid to show your real personality. I've seen you change over time but the way I see you here…" She spoke with such deep adoration that Amity did not know how to react. She roamed the hazel-brown eyes with anticipation, "I'm so happy I could have been by your side during that journey," She added and kissed the witch delicately on the lips.
Amity melted at the feeling of the chaste touch of full lips on her own. After everything she heard, the appreciation Luz had for her, and the pride in her voice, it all made her want to cry again. They parted and both smiled sheepishly, realizing how intimate that soft kiss was.
"I'm honored you journeyed with me, Luz," Amity broke the silence, "I'm also happy that the journey is really just beginning," She added and blushed when she realized how cheesy that was. Luz chuckled at that and offered her girlfriend an arm that Amity happily accepted.
"So shall we…" The brunette paused when a silent buzzing interrupted her. She fished the phone from her trouser pocket, smiled in surprise, and started walking down the forest path, "It's Danielle," She explained, "She's inviting us to her place for lunch since her roommate will be out," Luz then smiled widely, "Aw, that's so considerate," She exclaimed and showed Amity her phone.
"If you'd like to accept, please send forward the list of the foods Amity should avoid."
Amity's expression dropped. She never expected anyone to think about the well-being of someone they just met. On the other hand, she was Luz's parents' best friend so, the witch thought, her girlfriend had to learn empathy from someone.
"Wow… I really don't know how to react…" Amity said honestly, turning her face to the side, taking in the view of the trees.
"Well, you can accept or decline," Luz offered, "No pressure," She added and leaned a little bit on the witch, making her smile.
"If that's the case then I'd love to get to know her. I can tell, she was someone important to you."
"You aren't wrong," Luz agreed, quickly accepting the invitation, and hiding the phone, "But that was years ago and now you are important to me," She added and pecked the pale cheek, making Amity stop.
The brunette turned back to face her girlfriend and noticed her awed expression. She turned around again and realized they had come to the viewpoint on the cliff. The whole lake was seen from above, the green trees with their massive, wide crowns provided shade, and the delicate shimmering on the flat water below was truly magical.
"Wow…" Amity whispered when she slowly approached the cliff.
"It's no Boiling Sea…"
"But it's so… Alluring," The witch said with awe in her eyes and she sat down at the edge, letting her feet dangle from the ledge.
Luz joined her and they sat in silence for a while. Watching the view, lost in their thoughts. The brunette sneaked a peek at her girlfriend from time to time but the pale face was cold and the golden eyes were fixated on the view. The human sighed and noticed a small feather sneaking from underneath her skin. She brushed it off, hoping the witch would not notice.
"Is there something bothering you, Amity?" Luz finally broke the silence. Amity frowned and looked away sheepishly, "You don't have to say if you don't want to…"
"No…" The witch interrupted, "I do want to but I don't know how," She explained and looked up into the hazel-brown eyes, "I know I have been distant the past few days and it has nothing to do with the poisoning…" Amity finally said and faced the view once again.
"Is it something I did?" Luz expressed her fear.
"Titan! No!" The witch exclaimed, quickly faced the brunette and caressed her cheek, soothingly. She smiled softly, "No, Luz. It's stupid really…" The human held the pale hand and squeezed it in reassurance.
"I'm sure it's not," Luz smiled supportively, turning a little more to face her girlfriend and taking hold of the second hand. Amity sighed heavily.
"Yesterday was Odalia's birthday…." She whispered and looked away, "I told you it's stupid but it's really… It's her first birthday when I'm not around," The witch explained.
"Amity…" Luz said in barely a whisper, "It's not stupid. It actually makes perfect sense to me," She added and smiled, "Do you want to tell me what her birthday usually looked like?" The brunette asked, not sure what her girlfriend needed right now.
"Well…" Amity let go of Luz's hands and faced the lake once again, "She was SO annoying. She was reminding everyone her birthday was approaching, like, two months before. The closer to the date, the worse she got," The human snorted at her girlfriend's expressive frustration, "I had to adjust everything to her plans. Whatever she wanted, it had to be carried out immediately because 'you wouldn't want to disappoint your Mother on her birthday, would you?'" She let out and growled angrily, "I couldn't even dress the way I wanted because 'why don't you make Mommy happy and put on that dress?'."
"Wow…" Luz whispered but did not want to interrupt.
"Even though she never got me a present for my birthday I had to always get her something. No matter what I got her it was never good enough. Instead of 'thank you' I always heard 'well, you tried'!" Amity continued and her anger kept rising, "Then there were her fucking parties where she used me as a trophy and said shit like 'can you imagine she's the youngest? I know I don't look that old…'. How the fuck didn't I figure out it was wrong?!" She squeaked out and froze with her hand held up in anger, "Ugh, I'm sorry, Luz… I didn't mean to get so…" She could not find the proper word.
"It's okay, Amity," Luz smiled, "You kept it in for too long and I'm happy you trusted me with this," She said, "Though I gotta admit, that sounds like shit," She added teasingly.
"I know, right?!" Amity confirmed and they chuckled, the dense atmosphere disappeared. Suddenly the witch laid back on the ground and looked at the sky, noting how the tall trees seemed to reach for it, "It's such a weird feeling, you know," She spoke quietly, watching the white clouds pass through, feeling her girlfriend's gaze, "It's been just a year and so much has changed. I still feel her lingering presence, sometimes I could swear I hear her commands again…" She sighed heavily, trying to gather her thoughts. Luz laid down next to the witch and grabbed the pale hand in her own.
"I remember my first year in the Demon Realm…" The human whispered nostalgically, "I was so impatient to learn magic, trying new Glyph Combinations without thinking, trying all the food no matter how many times Eda warned me I shouldn't…" A quiet chuckle escaped her lips and the witch waited patiently for her girlfriend to continue, "Then one day Eda noticed I got quiet…" Her expression faded, "She gave me a lot of space until one morning she busted into my room yelling 'Kid, it's been three days since you last exploded something! Spill!'," Amity giggled at Luz's Eda impression, "I don't know what you are going through, Amity," The brunette faced the witch and their eyes met, "I feel down on every anniversary of my mother's death," She looked back up at the sky, "I always wonder if she left me 'cause I was too much of a burden. Did she really think it through or was it a spur of the moment? I know it's stupid because I will never get any answers… But no matter how many years have passed I still am affected by the date in a calendar," She explained and felt a gentle peck on her temple. The brunette turned her head toward the witch, surprised by the affection.
"Thank you, Luz," Amity said with a small, sad smile "I appreciate you sharing it with me," The witch looked away and sighed again, "I kept thinking if she even thinks about me or Emira, or… Edric even," She said with a sad, heavy voice, "She pushed Ed so hard that he thought he could find his only escape in death. Emira was disowned after she could not take it anymore and then…"
"Then you had her undivided attention…"
"Yeah… At least she allowed Apple Blood," She chuckled dryly.
"What?!"
"I never complained nor I knew it was wrong…" Amity admitted, "I honestly couldn't handle a social event without it. You've seen how easily Boscha overwhelmed me at school but a few glasses of Apple Blood helped me through concerts, receptions, school events…" She turned her face away from Luz with shame, "Pathetic…"
"Please don't say that," Luz lifted herself and supported on her left elbow, hovering above her girlfriend, encouraging the witch to look at her, "That's actually pretty understandable. Alcohol dulls the senses so with your overwhelming oversensitivity…"
"It's not just that!" Amity interrupted, sitting up with frustration, "Odalia made me share drinks with her… And at those times I felt like she cared for me… But she didn't, not really…" She hugged herself, comforting herself in the first attempt of voicing what was bothering her for so many years, "Then again, it dulled my anxiety, emptiness, sense of being just scraps of what was left the Blight's next generation…"
"Hey, Amity…" Luz sat up and took hold of the pale hands, helping her let go of herself, "It's okay. You coped the best you could at the time," She offered a warm supportive smile, "But you said yourself, so much has changed in just one year. You have changed…" The brunette tried really hard to support her girlfriend and was surprised to see the witch chuckle eerily.
"I'm afraid I really haven't, Luz," The witch said insidiously, her eyes filled with disgust toward herself, "I'm afraid that the part of me that Odalia molded into her own image is still living inside me, waiting for a moment of my weakness to break free," She explained the best she could, a sole tear escaped her eye just for Luz to capture it with her thumb as she wiped the pale face.
"You're forgetting about one extremely important thing," The human said with a delicate smirk, peeking into the golden orbs, "You're not alone in this anymore. Sure, you may slip. The harm Odalia did in the past twenty years cannot be undone in a few months or even in a few years," She continued and Amity's lips began to quiver, ravaged by emotions, "The most important part is trying every day to do better and be better. Like the day you helped me through transformation or the day when you stood up to Boscha, saving my ass again. You did better, despite the way you were conditioned to act, behave, look, present yourself, and represent your family…"
Luz could not finish the sentence. She was knocked down by a sudden, tight hug and a sobbing witch snuggled closely in, balling the shirt on the human's chest. She squeezed her eyes shut for a moment, to let the excess of tears escape her eyes and she breathed out heavily, trying to control her emotions.
"It's okay, Amity," Luz assured her, "I too have a lot of baggage but we'll get through it…"
"Together…" Amity whispered, interrupting the human with a faint smile.
"Exactly, my Love," The brunette assured her and planted a delicate kiss on the lavender hair, pulling the witch into a tighter embrace.
"I love it when you apply so much pressure," Amity purred, "It's like, I really feel myself relax… Like I finally feel," She added and was surprised Luz scoffed.
"I'm really glad to hear that. People were often angry with me. saying I was too forceful in my affections," Luz explained her reaction and the witch smiled.
"Well, screw them. Your affections are perfect for me. You know how to calm me down when I'm at my worst so that says enough," Amity retorted and pulled away a little bit to look at the human below her.
Their eyes met and they could have sworn the world fell silent. Another minute passed and another cloud created a shadow, quickly chased away by the gust of wind brushing through their hair, creating an eerie image. With all that, they knew they just belonged together. Luz lifted her hand and caressed the pale cheek delicately, smiling warmly at the sweet reaction of the witch who leaned more into the touch.
"I don't know words to express how much I love you, Amity," The human whispered.
"You don't have to say anything," Amity replied with a smile while she slowly started lowering herself, getting closer to the full lips, "You show it to me every day," She added and their lips finally connected.
The witch hummed into the affection, reveling in the way Luz pulled her lower back closer in while her thumb caressed her cheek. They parted for a moment to adjust the angle and their lips met again. Amity corrected her position to comfortably hover above her girlfriend, unknowingly slotting her leg between the human's thighs.
The sweet loving kiss increased its pace and after a moment of hesitation, it deepened. They did not know who moaned louder at the long-longed-for affection when their tongues finally met after so many days apart. With another delicate gust of wind, Luz brushed Amity's hair away from their faces and accidentally stroked her illusion-covered pointy earlobe.
"Ah! Luz!" The witch exclaimed loudly, surprised by the caress, pushing her hips forward onto the human's leg instinctively, feeling the heat in her core erupting, demanding friction to satiate her ache.
"Titan! Amity, I'm so sorry!" Luz shot up, afraid she crossed a boundary.
"Don't…" The witch whispered, placing a hand on the brunette's shoulder. The human gulped loudly when she noticed Amity's eyes became a shade darker and her pupils dilated, "Don't apologize, Luz. I'm sorry for not controlling my instincts but it felt really good," She explained, surprising Luz.
"Are you sure? With all the emotions and crying I didn't want to, I don't know, take advantage of you or something," Luz explained and Amity's pupils shrank back to the normal size while her heart melted in affection.
"She's always so considerate, so caring, thinking about my well-being…" The witch thought and suddenly a wide, wicked smile appeared on her face.
"Well, you already ruined my underwear so what do you say after we go home I'll take advantage of you?" Amity whispered sultrily while a purr erupted from her chest.
"Fuck…" Luz squeaked and managed to reply in a single, reluctant nod.
"Good!" The witch beamed, getting up to her feet, still feeling a tingling sensation in her knees.
She did not want to admit how much she wanted to take Luz then and there. Rip off the human's clothes, suck and bite every piece of the exposed skin, and make the taller woman moan, whine, and mewl underneath her. She pushed those primal desires away. For now.
"You're not an animal…" Echoed through her head but she ignored it and offered her girlfriend a hand.
"Now come on," Amity said with newfound energy, "Let me treat you to something to eat and then we'll go home."
"Oh, that sounds good," Luz accepted help to stand up and they strolled back to where they parked the motorcycle.
The road back was surprisingly peaceful. They talked about tomorrow's lunch with Danielle and were feeling happier and lighter with the emotional baggage unloaded and left at the cliff. They were aware there was still a lot to talk about, let the other person into the soul but they were glad they could talk it through instead of being forced into it like during the first nights after the Bond.
They sped through the forest-surrounded road and soon they slowed down to make it to the town center's speed limit. Luz did not know how to voice her pride in Amity's knowledge of the Traffic Laws and Regulations.
She felt safe with Amity behind the throttle. The human could not finish another thought when she realized the engine died down. She looked around and realized the witch parked in front of the Robin's Café.
"We're here, Luz," Amity said when she noted that her girlfriend was still hugging her tightly.
"I know… I just like to hug you," Luz replied, making Amity chuckle, "Any special wishes?" She asked when she finally untangled herself from the lavender-haired woman and hopped off the bike.
"Oh, I don't know," Amity teased with a small smirk, when she looked up into the hazel-brown eyes, "No chocolate, no coffee, and no milk, please," She said and laughed at the human's embarrassed expression, "Oh, come on! I'm just teasing, Luz. I'm alive so no harm done."
"Okay, okay…" Luz finally snapped out of her daze, lifting her hands defensively, "I'll be right back," She added and disappeared inside the Café.
Amity hung her helmet on the throttle and then turned around in her seat. She put her feet on the passenger's footrests and laid back on the fuel tank. She sighed contently and took in the view of the town square. It was small and simple, and yet she found it beautiful, magical, and enchanting in its simplicity.
"Oh, wow! I didn't know you had a bike," She heard a voice a few feet away from her. She turned her head and noticed a tall brunette man, smiling at her warmly, "Amelia, right?"
"Oh, hello, Bert," Amity sat up and looked up at the familiar man in front of her, trying to understand his intentions.
"That's a nice Bonnie you have there," He took another step closer and smiled at her. The witch was curious but also cautious. She was happy to see Luz return with their food before she had a chance to reply.
"Actually, that's a Scrambler from 2014," She elaborated when she realized Bert took a seat on a motorcycle next to hers, understanding she could share more, "That's eight hundred and fifty cubic centimeters with a four-stroke twin," Luz took Amity's hand to place a cup of tea in it, knowing that once in the zone, the witch did not notice the surrounding world, "They say it has maximum fifty-four horsepower but I managed to tune it up to seventy…" She realized that both Bert and Luz were smiling widely, "I'm sorry…"
"Oh, no, Amelia, don't apologize," Luz interrupted, sitting in a passenger seat, passing a sandwich to the witch, "I personally love your passion," She added with a warm smile.
"I have to admit it's a great change in this dull town to see someone as excited about their machine as me," He said, pointing at the vehicle he was sitting on, "It's nothing as fancy as yours but I assembled it myself from scraps and I'm proud of it!" He exclaimed and Amity almost choked on her sandwich when she heard his words, "Oh, did I say something wrong?" He asked and Luz laughed wholeheartedly.
"Oh, no, Bert," Luz kept laughing, "I'm sorry for laughing. It's just that Ami-Amelia spent the last two weeks restoring that bike so she understands you best I guess," She explained, hoping he did not notice her hesitation at her girlfriend's name. Amity nodded, trying to regain her normal breathing while the feeling of shame almost paralyzed her.
"Oh, wow! That's so cool!" Bert exclaimed, absolutely beaming with joy to finally meet someone who would understand him, "You read to kids, and you're a bad-ass biker! I respect that…" Suddenly, his expression faded and his gaze diverted to a space between both Luz and Amity, "Oh, no…"
The women turned their heads and groaned internally, noticing the blonde man approaching them with a smirk - Tommy Bergstein. He was dressed in pale, blue jeans and a gray tee, tightly stretching on his jock-like frame.
"Well, well, well," He greeted them, "If those are not our famous vacationing dykes," He added and everyone knew where this was heading.
Amity finished her sandwich, tossed the paper to the neighboring trash bin, and after washing her mouth with a sip of herbal tea, she looked up at the man who dared to approach them after all he had done.
The witch took in a deep breath to calm her murderous intent and looked into his piercing, blue eyes. Luz had no idea what her girlfriend thought but she was certain if it was not for Amity's self-control Tommy would be long dead.
"Tommy, was it?" Blight asked innocently, smiling sweetly, "Good to see you off your knees," She added and both Luz and Bert snorted at that.
"Enjoy the taste of your own medicine, Tommy…" Luz thought, enjoying bullying for the first time in her life. The blonde man's face twisted in anger, frustration, and desire to put the lavender-haired woman in her place.
"Why don't I show you where you belong, you slut!" He growled and Luz hopped off the motorcycle in an instant, ready to defend her girlfriend's honor.
"Hoot!" Echoed through her head when she felt a delicate hold on her forearm. The human looked down and met the confident spark in the golden orbs.
"Big words," Amity said as she tied her hands on her chest, smirking at Tommy, "For a man so small," She added, enjoying his face flushing with anger while some 'oohs' and 'damns' were heard.
"Two can play that game, Amelia," He growled through the teeth, "You seem so proud of your pathetic excuse of a motorcycle then let's race. My Dodge versus your whatever that is," He offered and Amity raised her brow.
"The last time we made a deal you behaved like an animal and hurt the woman I love," The witch made sure to rub her relationship with Luz into his face and smiled wickedly. She felt her girlfriend's gaze and was surprised to realize her human was thoroughly enjoying her confidence.
"It's gonna be just you and me this time. Two rounds around the town through the main road," He said and Amity thought about it. She really wanted to prove him wrong but now she was aware it was something of Luz's personality, not hers. Yet, she could not deny that she loved this new part of her.
"The loser pays all the speeding tickets," Amity proposed and was shocked by Tommy's fit of laughter.
"Sure, Amy, whatever you say. As if that thing can go past thirty miles an hour," That did it for Amity.
It was one thing to make fun of her, another to disrespect her, but insulting her machine. Her pupils shrank and Luz immediately felt something was wrong when she noticed the change in her girlfriend's features.
"Oh, this will not stand…" The witch said in a tone her mother would be proud of and turned in her seat, "You have five minutes to show up by the Town Hall and you'd better not be late, Bergstein!" She growled while Luz paled, recognizing the words exiting her girlfriend's lips. The blonde scoffed and left for his car, leaving angry Amity along with worried Luz and Bert.
"No, Ami-Amelia…" Luz looked at Bert, angry she almost slipped again, "You don't have to do that and you know that," She added quickly.
"Lucia, I'm sorry but I have to," Amity said and she could not even look her girlfriend in the eye.
"Okay, I get it," Bert addressed her as well, "He spoke ill of your girlfriend and what's worse of your Scrambler…"
"Hey!" Luz opposed and then rewind the whole situation in her mind, "Yeah, I get it, you're right…"
"So listen carefully," Bert got her attention with the voice so quiet they both knew something was up, "Tommy challenges to race the people he wants to get rid of. We call it 'The Dead Man's Curve'. It's right after you pass the church. He always tries to push people off the road there because there are no cameras and the turn is so tight it's only natural to die there, right?"
"Hold on!" Luz interrupted, "Are you saying that ass is killing people regularly?"
"Well, I wouldn't say kill or regularly… He's just scaring people into submission…"
"Enough!" Amity finally interrupted them, "Have faith in me…" She hesitated, biting her lower lip, "Baby…" She added leaving Luz dumbfounded.
"Oh, wow… Why does it sound so good from her lips?"
"Then we'll assist you to the Town Hall and make sure there's a photo at the finish line," Bert offered and both women beamed at the idea.
Amity was ready at the start line a few minutes before the race. Luz could feel anger coursing through her body and she knew it was not her sensation. The human wanted to support her girlfriend but she feared that the impatience the witch inherited from her might harm her. When everyone heard the loud engine approaching the start line, Luz decided to talk to Amity.
"Listen, Baby," She began, looking deeply into the golden eyes, "I know you want to prove that jerk wrong and I know how competitive you were even before the Bond so just please be careful, okay?" She pleaded.
"I promise," Amity replied with a smile.
"And listen," Luz added, caressing the pale cheek, "I donʼt give a damn about but your safety. If it comes to worst, use magic and come back to me in one piece, okay?" She added and the witch could have sworn her heart skipped a beat.
"Come on, Luz," Amity whispered with a somber smile, "Weʼve been through so much I think we can handle one bully with no magic," She added and leaned forward to capture Luz's lips.
"Oh, I donʼt doubt you, my Love," Luz confirmed, "I just know we canʼt handle him our way," She added and pressed her lips onto the pink ones, savoring the sensation.
"Iʼll handle this quickly so I can do good on my promise and do you good later," Amity said sultrily, enjoying Luz's flustered expression.
"Come on you dykes! We donʼt have to watch that!" Tommy hollered from his car.
"Wow, hypocrite…" Bert whispered, shaking his head in disbelief.
Luz left a small peck on Amity's cheek and pulled away, joining Bert by the Town Hall. She was surprised to see the police car drive away when they were clearly preparing for an illegal street race. Amity put on her helmet, and gloves, and prepared her bike. The engines roared side by side.
"I tell you what, cutie," Tommy said mockingly, watching the biker-girl beside him, "If by any chance you win, Iʼll consider…"
"No," Amity said dryly, never looking at her opponent.
She realized that more and more people were gathering at the Town Square. It was her chance to publicly humiliate Luz's bully but she had to be clever about this. She considered her position. She did not know the town as well as her opponent. While Amity knew the topography from the maps she studied, knowing different road surfaces was still working against her.
"All right, make it simple and easy," Tommyʼs tall, blond female friend spoke loud and clear when she stood in front of both of their vehicles, "Ready?!" She let her hand up with a signal horn, "Get set!" Amity and Tommy roared their machineʼs engines, focused on their goal.
"Oh, no…" Luz whispered when she realized what was about to happen, Bert looked at her with confusion.
"Go!" She screamed and turned on the loud horn, making Amity let go of the throttle and yell out in pain while the Charger drove off.
"Ami…" Luz tried to call for her girlfriend but was stopped by Bert.
"Fuck…" Amity growled with frustration and anger. She quickly regained control and took off, following her opponent.
"Calm down, sheʼll be alright," Bert let go of Luz, "Here, look, I got a drone watching them race," He added, handing her a screen.
"Whatʼs a drone?" She wondered but had no time to talk when she notices a bird's view of her girlfriend speeding up and catching up with the muscle car.
"Wow, she said how much horsepower she managed to turn up?" Bert wondered when he watched the race from behind the brunette's shoulder.
"Thatʼs no horsepower…" Luz thought and she watched Amity race with pride and awe. She smirked knowing the witch was not the one to give up easily.
Amity frowned, tying her brows in concentration and frustration. She let herself get distracted by a sudden, loud sound. She let herself get overwhelmed.
"Pathetic!" Odalia's voice echoed through her head as she finally managed to catch up with her opponent.
The witch growled, thinking about all the times that man bullied the love of her life. She could have sworn her heart pumped faster against her bile sac when she thought about all the times Luz felt like killing herself was the only option.
She could have sworn her nails lengthened inside the gloves when she thought about the possibility of never meeting Luz because of the blonde, who was currently wasting her time, while she could have been spending time with her girlfriend.
On the other side of the race, Luz could feel Amityʼs anger and frustration. She felt the witch was hoping to put the bully in his place but the brunette knew what it was really about.
"Oh, Baby," Luz whispered when she watched the race on the screen, realizing the lavender-haired woman was really proving Odalia wrong.
"That bitch!" Tommy growled when he noticed the foreign biker woman knocking on his window, mocking him, before speeding up, taking him over.
"Good… Get angry…" Amity thought when she noticed the blondeʼs expression in the rear mirror while she approached a tight turn to the right.
Tommy stepped on the gas and tried to push the witch off the road. She pulled to the side, letting him take over, lifting her helmet shield. Their eyes met when they managed to drive side by side for a few seconds before Amity smirked and took over, lowering her shield, and the Scrambler's engine roared loudly.
"Here they come!" Someone yelled, pointing at the far end of the Town Square. Luz frantically looked away from the screen toward the street, and back to the screen.
"Come on, Amity, come on!" She muttered, ignoring Bert's presence.
Both vehicles passed through the main road at high speed. Everyone could have sworn they had seen the foreign biker smirk, despite her face being obscured, while Tommy was getting more and more frustrated. On the contrary to everyone, Luz knew the last lap was about to take a dark turn.
"This is it," Bert whispered, surprising the brunette woman, "If Tommyʼs about to play dirty, this is the time," He explained and let Luz take over the screen to watch her girlfriend.
"He already made the mistake of trying to push her off the road," Luz realized out loud, "She now knows where he'll try that again," She added and smirked, knowing Blight was too smart and too good of a tactician to be fooled twice.
Luz was not wrong. Amity replayed the situation in her head. The way he tried to take her over from the left, taking the turn as smoothly as possible, the way he stepped on his breaks too harshly, in her opinion. The turn was getting closer and the witch noticed where the Dodge left breaking marks. She smirked and decided to act quickly.
With a quick glance at the right mirror, she noticed the car far enough for her to follow with her plan. Amity sped toward the turn and with no hesitation she leaned on one side, hitting the brakes, and extending her left leg. She added more gas and burned rubber to create a smoke cover.
"Holy…" Luz could not believe what she seeing on the screen.
"When did she learn that?!"
"Wow! Is she trying to blind him?!" Bert exclaimed, leaning over Clawthorne's shoulder with just as much excitement.
Amity realized the Dodge was just a few seconds away from her. With one last circle, she faced the Dead Man's Curve and sped toward the town, not paying much attention to her opponent. She heard a loud crash that made her smile victoriously. She hoped that would make the man leave them alone for the rest of their vacation.
"There she comes!" Someone called out from the small group of people who gathered at the Town Hall.
Luz looked up from the screen which Bert quickly retrieved, realizing the woman was about to run and greet her girlfriend. Amity approached the Town Hall and, with a swift maneuver, she drifted into a parking spot, turned off the engine, let down a kickstand, and while removing her helmet she accepted Luz's hug.
Within seconds other people started approaching the couple, cheering, and laughing with joy. The witch put her helmet safely on her motorcycle and she was surprised by Luz who lifted her in victory.
"Wait!" Amity yelped in surprise but she had no chance to say anything else when Bert assisted Luz. They carried the lavender-haired woman on their shoulders toward the crowd who cheered in happiness.
"Finally! Someone put Tommy in his place!" A tall, blonde woman, who assisted during their match, said with a smile, clapping slowly.
"He's gonna be so angry but it was so worth it!" An older lady said with enthusiasm.
The celebration was short-lived when suddenly, everyone heard a loud rumble of the Dodgeʼs engine. Luz and Bert let Amity down and everybody watched the car roll into the town. The vehicle had a deep dent and scratches on the left side.
"You fucking bitch!" The blonde man exited his car and approached the witch angrily, "Do you have any idea how much that paint job gonna cost?!" He growled through clenched teeth, pushing people aside to get closer to the lavender-haired woman.
"Don't you dare…" Luz stepped in front of her girlfriend.
"Outta my way!" Tommy roared, took hold of the brunette's jacket, and threw her to the side.
Everything happened so quickly that Amity had no chance to react when Luz was already on the pavement, hissing in pain when she fell on her hip.
"Oh, no, you just didnʼt…" The witch said in disbelief, "Did you just toss my girlfriend aside?!"
"Like the trash she is…"
Amity could not control herself. The whole world fell silent to her. She only heard the loud pounding of her heart. Her bile sac was swelling with high blood pressure, magic demanding to be released.
"No, donʼt!" Luz got up with Bertʼs assistance but it was too late. She felt her girlfriend lose the battle for self-control.
PUNCH!
Amity swung at Tommy, her face was absolutely emotionless. When the man was about to fall to the side from the impact of the hit, she grabbed his shirt to pull him right back up and punched him again. Blood from his broken lip splattered on the pavement but she did not stop. She punched again.
"No!" Luz approached her girlfriend and tried to stop her but the witch was too strong, "Stop!" Amity did stop but she still held Bergstein by his shirt.
"N-no m-more… Please…" He mumbled, falling to his knees and looking up at the furious, golden eyes. The witch looked at him with so much disgust no one dared to say anything.
"It's alright, deep breaths…" Luz tried to help Amity but was shocked to feel the witch tense up. The pale woman pulled the blonde up and looked into his swelling eyes.
"You dare ask for mercy?" Amityʼs voice sent chills down the spines of everyone who heard her, "Did you have mercy on my girlfriend when you stomped on her recently healed broken bones?" Tommy gulped, "Did you have mercy on all the kids you bullied throughout the years?"
"P-p-please…" He started crying and Amity let him go. He fell to the pavement with a thud and his face did not look much better than the side of his car.
"Pathetic…" Amity whispered and the moment she realized what she just said, she blinked with panic. Her face was still filled with disgust but this time toward herself.
"It's okay…" Luz whispered, trying to calm the witch down, "Ami-Amelia, please…" She slowly put her hand on the lavender-haired womanʼs arm.
Amity blinked and began to again comprehend her surroundings. The people gathered around watched her carefully. She was scared of herself, she would not blame those humans for being scared of her too.
"Thank Titan they donʼt know Iʼm a different species," She thought and felt herself spiral with self-hate.
"Finally!" The older lady from before cheered, "Did you have mercy on my flowers when you devastated my store?" She approached Tommy and tossed her purse at him.
"Yeah!" Chris from the library joined in, "Did you have mercy on the Library when you vandalized the building a week after renovation?!"
New voices began to arise. Soon Luz, Amity, and Tommyʼs lying figure were surrounded by people voicing out their anger. Older people, young adults, children, and even a local homeless man. It all stopped when the police signal echoed through the Town Square making Amity wince in pain and the mob let the officers through.
"Shit…" Luz whispered and took Amity's hand. The witch looked at her with fear and confusion, "Empire Scouts…" She explained and felt the witch squeeze her hand in panic.
"Whatʼs going on here?" One of the officers asked.
He was a short, chubby man with a large mustache and tiny eyes. His beige uniform was tight on his belly, rebelliously fighting the tightness of his leather belt that kept the gun holster safe. The other man was not very tall, yet his perfectly straight teeth sent out a sense of order and respect.
"Looks like little Bergstein had his ass handed by a tiny, British girl," His partner responded with a smirk, he lowered his glasses and eyed the girl who sent him a look, "Oh, donʼt give me that look, dolly. I heard you may be tiny but ferocious," He added with a snort.
"What the hellʼs going on?" Luz wondered, not knowing what to do. She caressed Blightʼs knuckles with her thumb and gulped nervously.
"Come on, Tommy boy. Your uncle will be hearing about this," The chubby officer said, helped the beat-up man up, and took him away to the police car.
"Well done," The other officer praised, looking at Amity, "If you'd consider sticking around, we might need someone like you on the force," He added and followed his partner, shaking his head in disbelief.
"What the actual fuck…" Luz gasped when she realized what had just transpired.
"Did that really just happen?" Amity gasped in reply.
"You are so going into the Gravesfield history books!" Bert surprised them both, startling them, making them jump and yelp in shock when he placed his hands on their shoulders, "Oh, so sorry to scare you!" He moved back but could not stop smiling. Other people joined him in congratulating them while some people went home, "Oh, wow, dude! Some pigeon must have left it on you," He added and approached Luz.
"Oh, no…" Luz whispered when she noticed the tall brunette man holding a dark brown feather in his hand.
"It was so much fun," Amity said, trying to keep her voice confident.
"But we should really go now," Luz added and they slowly moved away toward the Scrambler, "Shit, shit, shit," She cursed quietly when she realized the Concealment Stone was not keeping her feathers hidden anymore.
"Try to calm down, Luz," Amity said softly when she turned on the motorcycle.
"Don't worry about that and letʼs just go!" Luz began to panic.
They sped through town and both felt anxious about getting home. The witch kept replaying the afternoon in her head, angry she slipped. She knew she was righteously angry, she knew people thanked her for standing up for them but she felt that she could have handled it better. Now she was worried about Luz Beasting out.
Luz on the other hand was so very proud of Amity standing up for her, and for the rest of the citizens but she was aware her behavior must have left the witch with guilt and crippling self-doubt. Clawthorne was angry with herself as well. She should have told Amity she noticed feathering up at the lake. Not doing so endangered everybody.
"Come on, Luz," Amity snapped her out of her thoughts, making Luz realize they had already parked at the garage. The witch dragged her girlfriend home and they quickly made it toward the upstairs bathroom.
"A-Amity…" Luz choked out, getting more and more anxious, "Something is wrong," She added and Amity helped her sit on the closed toilet while the witch fetched the golden elixir.
"It's okay, Luz, everything will be fine," The witch said soothingly and removed their Concealment Stones. As soon as she did, Amity frowned, tying her brows, "Luz, did you feel feathery today?" She asked with worry while handing her girlfriend her medicine.
"I… I did notice a feather down at the lake but I did not feel anything…" She replied, worried about her girlfriendʼs expression.
"Okay, Luz, we need to handle one thing at a time," Amity said in a very calm and organized manner, "You worry me with the pain you experience and the lack of communication with Beasty," She explained and Luz took a moment to think about it.
The human looked at herself and realized random feathers were sticking out of her body and she felt an ominous presence lingering somewhere deep inside her. It seemed awfully similar to the way the curse acted up when Eda was not drinking elixirs and when she was trying hard to ignore the Owl Demon. Luz connected the dots and her breathing increased.
"Amity…" She gasped between heavy pants, trying to get herself under control while new feathers emerged.
"Calm down Luz," Amity cupped the tan face and smiled. Those golden eyes, warmth, affection, in a word, love, made Luz feel safe for a moment, "Itʼll be fine, just drink the potion and relax. Iʼm not going anywhere," She added and despite her panic, Luz obeyed.
"Gah! Tastes worse every day!" The human exclaimed as soon as she emptied the vial.
"You mean you have not been forgetting your potions?" Amity asked with worry and Luz shook her head, "That can only mean that the elixirs are not working as they should," She added, realizing how dangerous that was.
The witch fetched another vial when she realized the feathers had not disappeared yet. After the second dose of elixir, the human flashed her with black-gold eyes before they turned brown, and the feathers finally began to disappear. However, they did so agonizingly slowly in comparison to what they were both used to.
"Hoot…" The brunette heard for the first time in a long while and sighed heavily.
"Amity…" Luz got her girlfriendʼs attention with a shaky whisper, "Iʼm scared…" Their eyes met and Amity cupped the tan face to caress the cheek soothingly.
"I know, Luz. Iʼm scared too but we will figure something out," The witch said and helped Luz up off the toilet, "Why donʼt we go downstairs, have a cup of Brew and you can tell me how you feel?" She proposed and the human nodded in consent.
"The last time I really felt the connection with Beasty was during our first day here," Luz confessed when Amity placed a cup with a warm drink in front of her, "Since then it was weaker and weaker. I noticed, I couldn't understand them as well as in the Demon Realm but I suddenly stopped understanding them at all," She added and felt her heart race.
She did not even want to think about Beasting out. She did not want to bother Eda but she was tempted to leave her a message by the Portal Door or something. Her mind was racing a hundred miles a minute.
"Would she even receive that message?" She wondered anxiously.
"It seems as if the elixirs are slowly losing their properties, like, the more they are stored in the Human Realm the less power they have…" Amity theorized and Luz blinked at her with shock.
"That… Actually seems very logical," The brunette agreed and was lost in her thoughts once again, "Their taste is definitely worse by the day, I can tell you that much, the interactions with Beasty are more chaotic and usually triggered by emotions… I canʼt really communicate with them and we both know how important that is…" Luz paused and shook her head as if she was continuing her monologue inside her head.
"Luz?" Amity tried to get her attention again realizing the human was lost in thought, "Did you notice anything else? Any other changes in your behavior, well-being, anything…" She asked, worried about her girlfriend, placing her hand on the human's one.
"Um… You probably noticed I have more problems with concentration. It started somewhere around last week. Things tend to slip my mind, and I misplace things but also I feel, like I constantly have to do something. If I try to sit and relax I canʼt. Itʼs like a constant chatter in my head, like dozens of thoughts at the same time…" Luz kept going, not even looking at the witch, "Thatʼs why I canʼt sleep at night. Then again, I noticed my body hurt more as if the bones I had broken needed access to Beastyʼs magic…"
"And that started acting up after the Bond…" Amity interjected and Luz confirmed with a nod, "Luz… What happened in the part of your life when you didnʼt have an established connection with Beasty?" She dreaded the answer when she noticed how scared Luz looked.
"You do remember how we met, right?" Amity gulped, "But at least the elixirs were working back then…" The human let her head down, brushed her hands through her hair, let out a deep sigh, and closed her eyes.
"Okay, Luz," The brunette looked up at her girlfriend, "We're gonna make a plan. Since the elixirs are losing their oomph, try taking more of them. Since right now two vials helped you maybe you should start with taking two vials in the morning?" The witch proposed, hoping she would not sound too bossy.
"That's a really good idea…" Luz smiled, feeling calmer already. Having any kind of approach to the problem eased her tension, "And!" She suddenly exclaimed, surprising Amity, "We can take one vial to Danielle tomorrow. Maybe she can figure out if there's a Human Realm equivalent or something," She added and it was Amity's moment to blink dumbfoundedly.
"Wow…" The witch managed after a longer moment, "That is a brilliant idea, Luz!" She exclaimed with pride, "Of course," She then spoke more to herself, "If there was an equivalent of the Fever Potion then why not this one!"
"I'm glad you like it because I have no idea how to ask her for this favor. How will I explain it? 'Hey, Dani, thanks for the meal, and by the way, can you see if humans make this elixir because I might turn into an Owl Demon', does not seem like a dessert-worth conversation," Luz blurted out word vomit and she was surprised to hear Amity giggle.
"Don't worry, Luz. She's not going to judge you. From what I've seen, she'd do anything to help you."
"You think?"
"Yes, Luz," Amity confirmed, "She has big Eda-vibes in my opinion," She added and they both chuckled and then sighed heavily.
Having any kind of plan, calmed them both down. It did not change the fact that Amity was worried about her girlfriend while Luz was still panicking about losing control. It was not like she wanted to control the Demon inside but she needed to regain the communication they had to ensure everyone's safety.
On the other hand, both of them were sure that the Owl Demon did not want to cause any trouble. They just wanted to be heard, understood, and not ignored, stashed in the darkest part of the human's soul.
"Amity…" Luz asked when she tried to calm down her thoughts in the evening when they decided to rest for the day, "Do you want to talk about what bothered you today?"
"What do you mean?" The witch replied even though she knew what the human had in mind very well. They lay on their backs, both staring at the ceiling, feeling the heavy atmosphere.
"I want to be there for you, Amity," Luz turned her head to the left to face her girlfriend, "But I can't if you won't let me in," She added and noticed the pointy ears twitch in anxiety.
"What do you want me to say, Luz?!" The witch exclaimed loudly, throwing her hands up in the air, shocking the human, before facing the hazel-brown eyes, "I slipped! I did everything SHE would want me to do! Titan! I'm so stupid!" Amity closed her eyes, faced the ceiling again, and tugged her hair, "She was right, Luz… I am pathetic, I am an animal! I can't even control myself…" She added and Luz realized the witch was on the verge of crying, "But when I saw him push you… I should have been the one to help you up. Instead I… I…" She could not say any other word. The punch after punch she left on Tommy's face flashed before her eyes.
"Amity…"
"WHAT!?" The witch snapped, immediately regretting her behavior when her girlfriend sat up and turned on the light.
Luz sat next to Amity and studied her girlfriend's expression for a while. In Clawthorne's opinion, the witch was scared of herself. She was absolutely paralyzed by the idea of becoming a person like Odalia. Blight was constantly trying to prove that she was better than the sad excuse of a mother she had.
"I'm so sorry," Amity sat up as well, and with fear, she began to apologize.
"Don't!" Luz ordered sternly, her glare did not falter. Then she sighed heavily as if she was defeated, "Amity, listen carefully," Luz took hold of pale hands and rubbed them soothingly, "I love you so very much, and despite our Bond, I don't know everything, so I am grateful you share your thoughts with me," She said, surprising the witch.
"Why isn't she angry and disappointed with me?"
"Listen, Baby," The brunette said with a small smile and noticed the lavender-haired woman relax a little bit, "I know you were taught to never forgive yourself, even the smallest mistake, a small slip… She wanted you to be perfect, flawless, and it broke you," Luz added and then cupped the witch's face and shocked Amity with the warmest of smiles, "Amity, remember what your father told you, imperfection is beautiful. You don't have and never had to be perfect…"
"But then you'll leave me…" Amity almost cried when she grabbed Luz's shirt, tugging her, barely controlling her emotions.
"Amity," The human smiled warmly and pecked the pale forehead, "As you once said, we're just weird enough and hurt enough to find each other perfect. I still stand by it, you are perfect to me, Amity,"
"But, I…"
"Amity," Luz pushed forward, her hand moving in between the lavender locks while the other one caressed the witch's thigh soothingly, "I understand that you think, you became your worst fear but please believe me that you didn't."
"But…"
"Look at my face and trust me you didn't," Luz whispered, feeling the witch ogling her facial scars, "Look at my arms, legs, stomach…" She paused, haunted by the past, "And trust me, you didn't," She quickly snapped out of it, chasing the flashbacks away, "What you did was stand up for me and countless other people," She finally made her point and noticed the tears leave her girlfriend's golden eyes, "And I was, and still am, so very proud of you," Luz added, placing her forehead against the pale one, "Dang it, you even had the invitation to join the police force," Luz chuckled when she closed her eyes all the while she felt her girlfriend finally relax into her touch and believe her.
What surprised Luz was a sudden delicate kiss on her cheek. The human opened her eyes and looked up into the golden tear-filled eyes, roaming her face. Amity cupped the tan cheek, her thumb followed the pattern of the scars left by her mother, and leaned forward again, catching the human's lips in a passionate kiss.
"Amity?" Luz asked dumbfoundedly when she realized the kiss had become more fervent.
She pulled her hand from the lavender hair and placed it on the witchʼs shoulder, stopping her advances. Amity pulled back, sitting on her heels, and looked at Luz, her face flushed with an expression of fear and rejection.
"It's not that I donʼt want to but I worry… The emotions are all over the place…"
"I really need that," Amity interrupted in barely a whisper, "If you donʼt mind that is…" She added and caressed the human's cheek.
"I just want you to feel comfortable, Amity," Luz whispered, her hand returning to the witchʼs scalp, scratching delicately, making the witch lean into the touch with a quiet purr, "Iʼd love to continue if you…" She had no chance to finish that sentence when Amity knelt back up and captured Luz's lips fervently, digging her fingers in between the brunette's locks.
"You worry too much," The witch said when she pulled back to start kissing the human's neck and pulled on the pajama shirt, tugging her girlfriend closer in.
"Fuck…" Luz gasped under her breath when she felt a sting of Amity's fangs on her neck, sending a shiver of pleasure down her spine. The pink lips curled up in a satisfied smile and she continued biting, licking, and sucking the human's pulse point, leaving marks of pleasure.
"You always see the best in me," Amity whispered, her voice filled with lust and deep affection. They shared a long look and the witch removed her girlfriend's shirt.
"Because I love you so much, Amity," Luz replied, returning the gesture and removing the witch's shirt, "And I've seen you work hard on becoming better," She added, leaning forward, and pulling the witch closer in, scratching the pale back, marking her spine, and kissing delicately the scar left behind by the choker, "It took a lot of courage to do what you did…"
"Luz," Amity gasped, closing her eyes, and lolling her head back, giving the human more space for her advances.
The witch felt the full, luscious lips kiss her way toward her breasts, her pale fingers balled the brunette's hair and with no warning pulled her head back. The golden eyes, darkened with desire, looked down into the hazel-brown ones as if they were searching for any hint of wrong intentions. Their lips were parted and their breaths shallower than usual from their heated actions.
"I hope I'm not pushing you into anything," Amity asked in hesitation. An innocent smile her girlfriend sent her caught her by surprise.
"You do not, Amity," Luz pulled the witch closer in, "I want you to feel good," She kissed the pale lips, "I want you to feel loved," She nibbed Amity's neck, "And I want you to be yourself," Another kiss, "Just the way you are," She added and felt a strong push.
Luz's back hit the mattress and the witch pinned her down in no time, hovering above her. She watched the pupils dilate in the golden eyes and she smiled wickedly.
"I don't think I can control myself when you talk to me like that," Amity whispered, smiling with a loud purr erupting from her chest. She nuzzled closer in and bit the round ear delicately, making the human gasp.
"Then don't," Luz whispered, gasping in pleasure into the pointy helix. The witch pulled up, her purr died down in hesitation and she searched her girlfriend's face for any sight of fear or anything that would tell her to stop.
"Are you… I mean…"
"Amity, stop being so scared of hurting me," Luz interrupted with a smile, caressing her porcelain-like pale face, "You know that I love you, every part of you. I love that you can barely control yourself around me," She explained and turned Amity to her back, straddling her, surprising the witch with the sudden change, "To be perfectly honest, the fact that you get so wild with me, turns me on so much," The human sat back up, pushing the witch to lay back, and started pulling down her shorts. She took a look at her face to make sure she did not change her mind.
When the lavender-haired woman nodded in consent, the piece of garment was gone and Luz leaned down to capture the pale thighs in a series of delicate kisses, traveling back up, missing the heated core on purpose, aiming for perky breasts with pink, pebbled nipples, waiting for attention.
"Titan," Amity gasped under her breath, her ears slanting in submission when she felt the warm tongue swirl around her areolas, making her arch her spine in a sudden wave of pleasure.
She grabbed the human's hair again and pulled her up. Their eyes met and Luz smiled mischievously. Without any further hesitation, the witch pushed her girlfriend off her and took off her offending pajama shorts.
"Come here," Luz pulled her girlfriend closer by her waist, letting her straddle her hips.
Their eyes met in a loving, yet lust-filled gaze. Their hands roamed their bodies in gentle caresses, reassuring them of their tender feelings. From their faces, through their hair, brushing the loose strands away, to their backs, waists, and thighs.
Finally, they shared a delicate kiss and pulled back for a moment. Luz leaned in and captured the witch's neck in a series of small, delicate kisses, stopping for a longer moment on the bite mark, to suck it slightly, then slowly traveling toward the witch's breasts, her tongue curiously trailing the shape of the scars.
Her strong, calloused hands moved toward the pale hips, adjusting them so the witch was straddling the human's left thigh which wore a scar of a Slitherbeast bite. Amity complied, knowing where Luz was going with it, and she loved the idea. The witch pulled Luz's face back up and pulled her into a searing kiss.
Their lips parted and they could have sworn the warmth of their breaths sent a fire of pleasure down their bodies, pulsating at the apex of their legs. They moaned loudly when their tongues finally met, so hesitant at the first touch in such a long time, sending shivers at the contact.
Luz reveled in the pull on her scalp and let out a loud, guttural moan into the kiss. She felt a sharp fang pulling her lower lip, she knew Amity needed more. She wanted to give her girlfriend more.
"Amity," The human gasped, breaking their kiss for a moment, her hands traveled down the witch's hips again, "Don't hold yourself back," She guided her delicately, encouraging her to lower her heated, wet core onto the human's thigh.
"I…" Amity hesitated, her eyes roamed her girlfriend's face reluctantly while her whole body shook in desire. She did not even notice that Luz's hands left her hips to travel elsewhere.
"Don't hold yourself back, my Love," Luz whispered with a smile and the witch finally noticed the human's hands inches away from her ears, making them twitch in anticipation, and slant in submission, "Let yourself feel good," She added sultrily and touched the base of both pointy ears simultaneously, slowly circling the shell of the pointy ears.
"Oh, fuck! Ah!" Amity howled, her eyes rolled up, and her hips immediately slammed down on the human's leg.
Her fangs peeked out from inside of the parted lips, gasping in pleasure while her eyes fluttered while still rolled up. The jolts of electricity roamed her spine, from her ears to her heated, soaked core, and back to her ears, sending a tingling sensation across Luz's body as well, erupting at the bite mark.
"Just like that," Luz cooed and moved her long, skilled fingers on the shell of the witch's ears, delicately moving from the base to the end of the pointy lobe, occasionally letting her fingers trail the helix of the heated appendage, "I love seeing you like this," Luz whispered into the sensitive organ with a husky voice, reveling in the experience of pleasuring her girlfriend. Amity could not stop herself from releasing a high-pitched moan when her hips bucked forward in search of more friction to satiate the ache she felt, "I love making you feel this good," She added and the witch's head lolled back, her eyes closed shut while wanton moans escaped her continuously parted lips, gasping for air.
Amity needed to hold onto Luz's shoulders to keep her balance when the human fingers assaulted her ears again, matching the rhythm of her hips, which moved forward in a regular, calculated manner, feeling the pleasure flushing her in a paralyzing wave of increasing ecstasy when she applied the pressure to her swollen, sensitive nub.
"L-Luz! Ah!" Amity could not stop her moans when she felt her girlfriend use her position to kiss and lick her neck, occasionally nibbling the pink pebbled nipples while the moves on her ears never faltered, sending the lavender-haired woman into the frantic overdrive.
"Just like that, Baby, let go," Luz encouraged the witch who in return felt more confident to shamelessly hump the human's leg, leaving a wet residue of arousal while her upper body was being pleasured with feverish intensity.
"Luz," Amity thought, mewling in satisfaction, letting her left hand go of the human's shoulder and slowly travel down to her girlfriend's core.
Despite the fog of pleasure cast on her brain, the witch found her price, covered in a generous amount of arousal. Her fingers delicately rubbed the inner thigh and quickly warmed her way to her goal.
"A-Amity?" Luz pulled back to look at her girlfriend's lust-driven gaze at the unexpected touch. That did not stop her from spreading her legs apart and accepting the touch.
"I want… Ah! You to feel good with me," She explained through her moans, and with the remainder of her self-control, she began working her girlfriend's clit slowly and delicately, slowly building up the desired pace, not wanting to overwhelm the human.
"Ah! Shit! Ami…" Luz could not find her words when she felt the rush of electricity she wanted and needed so badly. Feeling the wet heat of her girlfriend on her thigh, her girlfriend's hands on her body, the sounds of witch's pleasured moans and mewls, it all drove her wild.
"Sh-shit! Just like that!" Amity gasped when the human, wrecked with her own pleasure, began applying more pressure to her pointy ears. The witch's hips gyrated wildly with more vigor, boosting up their speed when she felt a familiar feeling emerging from her depths, tightening her lower abdomen, "O-oh! Yes!" She moaned again, increasing the pace of her hips and matching it with her hand on the human's clit.
"A-Amity, please!" Luz gasped and gulped loudly, barely controlling herself. Keeping pace of her fingers on the witch's ears began to be more and more difficult when she felt herself getting closer and closer to the edge.
They pulled back and their eyes met. The time stopped still. The golden gaze practically melted at the widened pupils in the hazel-brown eyes. They devoured the sight of their faces contorting in pleasure, parted lips let out loud gasps and moans while the fluttering eyes tried to keep constant contact with the other.
The connection they had was something they desired the most and was slowly sending them toward the edge together, their Bond marks sending additional, unexpected sensations, making the whole act more magical.
"L-Luz, more, please!" Amity demanded as if she read her girlfriend's mind, "I want… Ah! I need you to…" She rambled under her breath making Luz look at her with a tinge of worry.
"A-are you sure?" Clawthorne hesitated, knowing what Blight had in mind.
"Always so considerate…"
"Y-yes! Fuck!" The witch nodded fervently, knowing how intense everything was about to become, "Please!" She whined desperately while her whole body shook in anticipation. She needed to come, "Now!"
"Amity," Luz leaned closer and kissed the witch delicately, "You're safe with me," She somehow managed a reassuring tone despite hanging on the razor-sharp edge of her climax, "Let go…" She added and with that, she pulled back a little bit to have a better view of the pointy ears, slanted in submission, ready to receive the additional attention.
She continued the patterns on the back of the shell and used her thumbs to massage the lower side of the helix, so close to the lobule. She was nervous about using that intense technique for the first time.
"Please," Amity hurried her up when she noticed the hesitation in the loving gaze.
"It's okay, my Love," Luz smiled and could not hold back anymore, letting out a loud moan when another circular motion on her clit almost sent her over, "C-come with me," She added and found the courage to place her thumbs on the inner side of Amity's ears, applying pressure to the witch's ears' concha, and running through the shape of the concavity.
"AAAAH!" The sound that escaped Amity's throat was so primal and guttural it did not leave Luz any room for self-control.
The witch's aura erupted and the human knew it was a matter of seconds before the witch caught her high with the frantic, animalistic movements of her hips. Amity's right hand dug nails into her girlfriend's back while her left one applied inhumanely fast pressure on the Clawthorne's clit.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," Luz began panicking, letting out high-pitched sounds, feeling herself approaching the end of her endurance while she tried her hardest to focus on the witch, scared that her own pleasure would make her lose the perfect pace she established.
"A-Amity, I…" She tried to warn the witch but was stopped by the increased force on her clit, making her eyes roll up.
"Yes!" Amity howled, another set of patterns on her ears sent electric jolts to her core, shutting down her logical thinking, "J-just like… Like that!" She slurred, her hips increasing the tempo and pressure, "L-Luz! P-please! Harder!" She growled and opened her golden eyes, glowing in pink. The human had no idea that this kind of desperate, lust-filled look could turn her on so much.
"Faster!" Luz demanded, being an inch away from the edge, "Like that! Yes! YES! M-more! YES!" She moaned loudly, not realizing her eyes turned black-gold or what words left her lips.
"Luz, please! I'm gonna… So close…" Amity could not stop herself when she felt more pressure from the human's thumbs.
"Ah! You're so good!"
"Oh fuck! Yes! YES! Ah! L-Luz…" She slurred her girlfriend's name when the orgasm hit her like a brick wall.
Something seemed to snap inside her as she came. Her juices ran down the human's thigh, her inner walls clenched on emptiness, her legs began to tremble and the jolts of pleasure roamed her body, and with few seconds apart, she sent her girlfriend into a pit of pleasure too. Loud moans and grunts echoed across the room.
Their muscles spasmed while they curled in, reveling in the unadulterated, shared bliss of ecstasy. They fell into the overstimulation, shaking desperately, all senses dulled by their intensive sensations.
It took them a while to slowly calm down and come down from their shared joy when the shakes dulled. When Amity's hips slowed down, Luz removed her hands from the witch's ears who in return retracted her hand from the human's folds.
They remained in their position, hugging tightly, breathing heavily, desperate for the closeness of the other person, feeling safe in each other's embrace when they felt the pounding heart of the other against their chest.
Soon their breathing began to slow down and Amity sighed with contentment and began tracing soothing patterns on her girlfriend's back while the human pulled the witch closer into an embrace by her waist.
Luz loved the way she felt so small and vulnerable in her girlfriend's caring hold. This was something new to her but she adored that she did not need to be strong and brave all the time. Amity, on the other hand, could not deny herself the satisfaction of letting herself care for the human, allowing herself to feel emotions she was never allowed to feel - love, adoration, admiration, worry. Together they were unmasked.
"I love you so much…" Amity whispered when she finally caught her breath and felt they were ready to pull apart. She cupped Luz's dorky, smiling face, looking at her from below.
"I love you too, Amity," She replied and pulled the witch down to continue the embrace in the bed. They lay down, their limbs entangled together, and Luz watched the pale, relaxed face, "Are you feeling okay?" She needed to ask, noticing a single tear escaping the golden eye, despite a small smile still present on her face.
"Yes, I'm sorry, I still canʼt process that anyone would love me…" Amity explained and her smile faded, "Let alone someone as great as you. And I feel so loved by you. Youʼre always so considerate, thinking about my well-being…" More tears escaped her eyes, "Gah! Iʼm sorry, Iʼm ruining the mood…" Luz scoffed at that and lifted herself to hover above the witch on her left elbow.
"Amity," She caressed her pale cheek, wiping the witch's tears away, "Youʼre not ruining anything," She brushed away some lavender strands and kissed the forehead delicately, "Iʼm glad you opened up, shared your thoughts and feelings," Luz added, smiling warmly, and they shared the longest look before the human continued, "I understand where all of this is coming from. You were hurt. While growing up, you were robbed of love but that is over now. I know, it won't be easy to accept that you are not only worthy of unconditional love but also that I love you unconditionally," She added and laid back down to look into the golden eyes comfortably, "And there are so many other people who love you unconditionally, Amity," She added with a soft smile.
"Iʼm sorry. I know we keep having the same conversation over and over again. I mean you bonded with me so it should be enough proof…"
"Amity," Luz cut her girlfriend's rambling short, "I know that some fears are illogical and Iʼm happy to continue having this conversation with you over and over again, letting you know, time after time, how much I love you, how much I care about you and how much…" Her words were muffled with a sudden kiss. Luz blinked a few times before realizing Amity threw herself at her, digging her pale fingers between her curly hair, and pulling her into the affection.
"Titan, sorry," The witch gasped, pupils in her eyes shrank in panic when she finally pulled back, her hand resting on the tan shoulder.
"It's okay," Luz replied with a small giggle, caressing the worried face, "I told you I donʼt want you to hold back," She added and the witch was clearly worried.
"W-would you mind if I kiss you again?" She asked and Luz smiled at that.
"Of course I wouldnʼt," She replied and Amity suddenly blushed, her ears twitched so hard they almost fluttered, "What is it?" She asked with a wide smile, loving the witch's expression.
"I donʼt know how to explain it," She looked away sheepishly, "But I just felt the urge to kiss you when you said all those things and earlier, I could have sworn the way you talked to me made me come… Ugh, this is so embarrassing!" She exclaimed, covering her face with both hands.
"Don't be embarrassed, my Love," Luz whispered when she hovered above her girlfriend once again, "I love telling you how much I care about you and itʼs okay you are turned on by hearing how beautiful you look when you let go," Amity let her hands down despite her face being still overtaken by a deep blush.
"Luz, what are you doing?" The witch asked, not realizing her breathing hitched a little bit.
"Oh, nothing much," Luz said in a low tone with a cocky smile while she began trailing the scars on Amity's chest with her skillful fingers, "I just think you deserve to know, how much I love the way you sound when you feel good," Amity whimpered, surprising them both. What Luz did not know was that her words sent a powerful, almost painful chill down her body, reigniting the desire in her core, "You deserve to know," Luz leaned down to kiss the witch's neck, "How much I love the way I make you feel, the way you react…" Her hand trailed lower to Amity's abdomen which quivered at the sensation, "To my touch…" She finished her thought and noticed her girlfriend's face overtaken by an expression of pleasure when the mere touch accompanied by a bit of praise sent electric shocks through her body, "How good you are…"
"Luz…" Amity gasped, closed her eyes, and arched her back delicately while her legs unknowingly spread apart, making Luz smirk at the reaction.
"Okay. So we have a praise kink. I can work with that…" Clawthorne thought and let her hand trail the pale hips and inner thighs, loving the small whimpers that escaped her girlfriend's parted lips.
"You were so brave standing up for me, Amity," Luz continued while she captured the witch's nipple in between her lips, delicately applying more pressure, "It turned me on so much when," Another lick resulted with a louder, more desperate, moan, "You intimidated those bullies, you took care of me… Now let me take care of you…"
"AH! Please!" Amity mewled.
She did not understand how a few kind words could have gotten her all worked up, especially since she had already come. Yet, the warm hand teasing her inner thighs, the overly curious tongue stimulating her nipples, and the sultry tone of Luz's voice were making her wild.
"Do you want me to continue?" Luz asked and Amity finally snapped her eyes open. The witch nodded fervently, her fangs peeking from between her parted lips, "Do you want me inside you?" The witch moaned at the mere thought of Luz spreading her widely, "Do you want to come for me, moan beautifully for me?"
"Ah! Luz, please," Amity could not comprehend it but she felt her juices dripping down her body.
"Use your words, my Love. You know how much I love to hear you," Luz gained the strangest satisfaction from the power she held over her girlfriend.
She let down her long pointers toward Amity's entrance and gathered slick to lubricate her digits, making the lavender-haired woman deliriously take hold of the human while her golden eyes roamed the scarred face.
"Fuck!" Amity gasped, shocked by her reaction, before answering the question, "Please, fuck me! Please! I need you to fuck me hard!" The witch had no idea she could ever be so desperately aroused she would actually be begging for attention.
Her hips gyrated searching for stimulation, while her hands pulled the other body closer in, demanding closeness, making the human straddle her right leg, getting a better angle.
"My pleasure," Luz whispered into the pointy ear, making it flutter with her warm breath, and then she pushed three fingers into her girlfriend's drenched, welcoming sex, spreading her widely, sending waves of ecstasy.
"O-oh! Yes!" Amity exclaimed loudly, arching her back while her eyes fluttered in overwhelming pleasure. Luz smiled at the sight of her girlfriend. She needed to witness more of those expressions.
"Just like that," Luz cooed, curling her fingers up making the witch moan wildly, "You sound so beautiful when you let me take care of you," She added, trailing kisses up Amity's neck, dangerously close to the base of the pointy ear.
"Ah!"
"Yes, don't hold back, let yourself enjoy how I fill you in…"
"L-Luz…" The witch managed to look into the human's eyes and pulled her into a desperate kiss. Her pale hands roamed the body above her, wanting to feel more connection, "C-can I?" She asked hesitantly when her right hand slowly circled around Luz's drenched sex.
The human roamed the golden eyes and then smiled widely, spreading her legs to accommodate her girlfriend's hand, her hips moved forward, encouraging the woman below her.
"Youʼre always so good for me, taking care of me," Luz whispered and kissed the bite mark on the witchʼs neck, making her gasp, "I love feeling good with you," Luz whispered into the witch's ear and curled her fingers again.
"Luz!" Amity exclaimed in ecstasy.
"Fuck me hard, Baby, I love how you make me feel good… Ah!" Luzʼs praise was cut short when she felt the witch's fingers spread her, stretching her deliciously, "Yes!" They matched their rhythm and watched their reactions closely, sharing looks filled with lust and affection.
Luz pulled her left hand up and caressed the pale cheek while Amity returned the affection. She once again trailed the scars on Luz's cheek and her hand, pleasuring her girlfriend, slowly came to a stop. The human did the same when she noticed the change in the witch's look.
"Are you alright?" Luz asked with worry, dropping her confident act, and the golden gaze traveled from the marks on her face to the hazel-brown eyes. The human was surprised with a sudden, wide, loving, fanged smile on the pale face.
"Iʼm sorry, I just thought how much I love you," The witch replied and leaned into a kiss that Luz returned eagerly, "Mmm, and yeah, I want to make you feel good," She added and surprised Luz, turning them around, her ears perked up, her smile wide and flirtatious.
She let herself pull away and leaned to kiss the human's bite mark, making her girlfriend shudder at the touch. Her pink lips kept trailing another mark on the tan body until they relaxed again. Finally, she moved her hips forward, letting Luz know she was ready to escalate their actions and then she started working the human's core as well.
"Luz, please…" Amity whispered into the round ear, nibbling the lobe, reveling at the pressure Luz gifter her, "Yes, just like that!" She bucked her hips again, returning the affection, working Luz relentlessly.
"Fuck, Amity, you feel so good!" Luz gasped, her words became strained when she felt she was getting closer to her release.
"Please donʼt stop… Ah!" Amity could not understand how simple praise could work her up like that but she was getting frantically closer to her edge and she loved every second of it.
"YES!" Luz exclaimed and pulled the witch into a sloppy, yet searing kiss, digging her free hand in between the lavender hair, scratching the witch's scalp, "You fill me so good, Iʼm gonna… Oh, oh fuck, oh yes, that's it, oh-... Right here!" Her lips hung open, letting out high-pitched moans, one after another, lids fluttered while her eyes rolled up in an overwhelming pleasure.
"Titan!" Amity could not believe she had ever seen this ecstasy-filled expression on her girlfriend's face. She knew that whatever spot she just found, she would be damned if she lost it so close to the human's peak.
"Thatʼs it, Luz. Let go," She sucked on the human pulse point, closing her eyes, feeling overwhelmed by her own sensations, increased by the magical Bond they shared, "Please, Iʼm so close," The witch moaned loudly, begging and she was surprised by a sudden surge of pleasure, paralyzing her body.
She opened her eyes and pulled away to look at the woman below her. Luz watched her with desire-filled eyes, and despite being overcome with paralyzing sensation of an approaching climax, she still managed to place her hand on the shell of the witch's ear driving her absolutely insane.
"Fuck!" Amity's hips increased their pace, "Yes! Yes! Luz! Donʼt stop, please, like that!" She could not control herself anymore.
"Thatʼs it! You fuck me so good!" Luz praised and applied more pressure to the witchʼs ear, reveling in the way they were losing themselves in pleasure, "You are so good to me," They shared a look and smiled through moans.
To think an activity considered so raw, perverse, and animalistic could contain so many emotions and fulfill a deeper need, seemed so surreal. Despite all the bad that happened, they trusted each other, they felt safe with each other, and they knew there was nothing that worked them up more than the awareness of the fact they were in it together for life.
"Yes!" Amityʼs smile faded and her lips parted letting out a loud moan, her eyes shone with a pink glow while her pupils dilated.
"Iʼm gonna… Amity, yes!" Luz joined her girlfriend, eyes turning black-gold with a tint of golden glow. They felt each other clench on the other's fingers and the powerful release washed over them.
"AH! L-Luz! Fuck!" The witch's aura erupted from her body in a single wave, tossing smaller objects away when she reached her peak, howling in pleasure, and moaning wildly.
"Oh! Oh, Amity!" Luz did not control her reactions when her orgasm hit her, shaking her violently.
Their senses were cut off for a moment. They could not hear anything but their heartbeats, they could not see anything but the rainbow of colors behind their closed eyes, and they could not feel anything but the release, washing over them in shared bliss.
Their legs trembled hard, backs arched in simultaneous pleasure, wave after wave until finally their hips stuttered, the jolts of electricity dulled and slowed down to come to a stop. Amity's aura disappeared and their eyes returned to normal.
With one last touch on the oversensitive bundles of nerves, making them shudder, they retracted and the witch laid down on her girlfriend's chest, hearing the heartbeat and deep breaths.
"Titan, I love to watch you come," The human laughed when she kept her girlfriend close, caressing her back soothingly, watching the pointy ear twitch delicately at the praise. Amity could not reply, she began to giggle and laugh, "That good?"
"Hah, yeah!" The witch finally managed to confirm, still shaken up with post-orgasmic joy and turned her head to face her girlfriend. She put her chin on her palm, resting on Clawthorne's chest, and watched the human, "So good," She added, closed her eyes, slanted ears in relaxation, and smiled widely in satisfaction, showing off her fangs, making Luz chuckle at that blissful expression.
"Titan, you're so beautiful…" The human whispered, caressing the pale face with affection.
"Hush now, before you turn me on again…" Amity joked, making Luz snort at that. The witch opened her eyes and felt her heart swell with adoration, "I'm so happy you came into my life," She whispered and pulled up to snuggle with her girlfriend.
"I'm happy you followed me to the bathroom," Luz joked, pecking the lavender head, and sighed with contentment.
She was surprised that the witch did not retort so she pulled an inch away just to realize Amity was fast asleep, exhausted from their activities, and the emotional turmoil brought by that day. The human covered them with a quilt and kept the lavender-haired woman close, smiling at her.
"I love you so much…" She let out a whisper before falling asleep as well.
