Episode 3B: Romeo's Seismic Plan - Part 1
Rebecca was sitting with her friends (Connor, Amaya, and Greg) at the library. They were all reading a book.
"Look, it's a cheetah! They're the fastest cat around!" Rebecca said, pointing to a page of the book with a cheetah on it.
"I may not be a cheetah, but I'm fast, too," Connor stated, making the other kids laugh. Suddenly, the ground started shaking violently, and all the kids in the area fell off their chairs. A librarian was taking cover under a table.
"Everyone, take cover! It's an earthquake!" the librarian ordered as books started falling off the shelves.
The PJ Kids obeyed and took shelter under their table. They stayed quiet until the shaking stopped. It stopped after a good minute.
"Alright, everyone. Go home; it's not safe here," the librarian said as she led every kid out of the library. The PJ Kids stood on the steps.
"What was that? Was that an earthquake?" an alarmed Rebecca asked.
"I think it was," Connor replied.
"How is that possible? We're not on any faults...are we?" Rebecca inquired.
"I don't think so...do you guys think a nighttime villain is behind this?" Amaya asked.
"Maybe...PJ Masks, we're on our way..." Rebecca began.
"Into the night, to save the day!" the PJ Kids announced.
The Power Heroes gathered up for their missions.
"Alright, let's find this villain," Catboy said.
"Did everyone feel that earthquake?" Bastet inquired. "I felt it, even in my portal to the ancient world."
"Yeah, we did. It was a minute-long, too," Lynx replied. "I was terrified."
"Wait...earthquakes don't usually last a minute...that is truly suspicious," An Yu stated.
Bolt suddenly stood up.
"I'll go with Catboy to deal with this villain. Two cats are better than one," she said.
"Alright, then...we'll find this villain ourselves. To the Cat Racer!" Catboy replied, getting up and heading towards the vehicle hatch. Bolt followed him.
"PJ Masks, all shout hooray..." the other heroes began.
"Catboy and Bolt, go save the day!" Catboy and Bolt announced.
Catboy and Bolt drove through the city, searching for the villains that were responsible for the earthquake.
"So, Bolt, what cat powers do you have?" Catboy asked Bolt curiously, still looking at the road.
"Well...I have Super Lightning Zap, Super Lightning Speed, Super Charge Up, and...I believe I probably have more powers, but that's all I have so far," Bolt replied promptly.
"Oh, that's pretty cool," Catboy complimented.
"Thanks," Bolt replied with a smile.
Suddenly, Bolt and Catboy came across Romeo and Robot, who had a giant box next to their lab with a plethora of different buttons on it.
"Who the heck are they?" Bolt asked.
"That's Romeo and his Robot. Romeo's always inventing things, but we PJ Masks take him out every time," boasted Catboy in reply.
The two heroes parked next to Romeo's lab and jumped out of the Cat Racer, ready for action.
"Well well, if it isn't the PJ Masks," Romeo sneered in annoyance.
"Are you responsible for that earthquake we felt earlier, Romeo?" Catboy inquired.
"Yes, my furry friend. Thank you for noticing," Romeo replied smugly.
"What's that thing-a-majig right there?" Bolt asked Romeo.
"Oh, this?" Romeo replied. He walked towards his machine and showed it off. "It's my new earthquake machine! It can create minute-long earthquakes that wreck things!"
"Master, shouldn't you tell the PJ Masks Power Heroes that you're planning to make the earthquakes last longer?" Robot asked Romeo.
"Yeah, now be quiet," Romeo replied. Then he turned back to the PJ Masks. "I'm planning to make the earthquakes last longer, and once they do, I can take over the world! Mwhahahahahaha!"
"Classic evil genius laugh. I've seen it all on TV," Bolt hissed, using her lightning zaps to zap one of Romeo's feet, showing him just how annoyed she was.
"Ouch! Just for that, I'm going to release another earthquake!" Romeo yelped, pressing a button on the giant box and triggering another quake.
"Ahhhh!" Catboy screamed.
"Whoa!" yelped Bolt.
"Mwahahahaha!" laughed Romeo, who was kind of struggling to stay in one place.
"Ugh! Stop laughing! Super Lightning Zap!" Bolt furiously zapped Romeo after the quake and chased after him, causing him to run in circles.
"Stop it, you cloudy furball!" Romeo hissed.
"Not a chance! Come here!" Bolt hissed back.
"Guys, stop! That's pointless!" Catboy said, and Bolt and Romeo stopped running around.
"But he was laughing at me!" Bolt snapped.
"Because it was funny to watch you suffer, PJ Pest!" Romeo snapped back, causing Bolt to charge up angrily.
"Bolt, keep your cool! We have a job to do," Catboy said calmly.
"I know!" Bolt replied, trying to zap Romeo again.
"BOLT, LISTEN TO ME!" Catboy hissed, making Bolt pause and charge back down. "Getting mad is not gonna solve anything. You're still learning, and you need to stay calm."
Bolt sighed. "Okay, you're right."
"Take this, Romeo! Super Cat Stripes!" Catboy yelled, using his Cat Stripes to tie up Romeo and Robot.
"Hey!" Romeo yelled angrily.
"I got the rest, Catboy," Bolt said as she used her Super Lightning Zap to mess up the circuits of Romeo's giant box. The box sent out a green mist through the entire city, but no one noticed.
"No!" Romeo yelped.
The big box was destroyed...or was it?
"We did it! That was super easy!" Bolt said happily, hopping back into one of the passengers' seats of the Cat Racer.
"Yeah!" Catboy replied. The two cats did their victory chant as they sped off, but Romeo laughed maniacally.
"Why are you laughing, Master? They just defeated you," Robot asked.
Romeo let out an evil chuckle. "That's what they think."
