Months passed since the reveal and Nyx was slightly showing. Husk and Nyx decided to have the wedding before the baby is born as they wanted to be fiancee's for awhile. Currently, Husk had his head on Nyx's stomach sighing in pure bliss. He was on the couch with Nyx in the lobby watching TV. Nyx was petting his fur. Charlie was pouting about how cute they were and Vaggie had to hold her back because she kept trying to take photos and get in their face.
The silence was interrupted when a loud knock was heard, Charlie snapped out of her gushing to see who it was, opening the door, two angels stood. Charlie wanted to groan and complain but kept a smile for them. She allowed them in.
"So, what do you want?" Charlie asked, the angels were Michael and Gabriel. Michael tried to mask his disgust with a smile, while Gabriel looked around anxiously, never been in Hell as they were prevented by Michael.
"We're here for Nyx." Michael said, Charlie's eyes widened.
"Relax, we're not here to take her to jail, it's just that Father wanted to see her since he found out about her pregnancy." Michael said, adjusting himself properly.
"I see, um. She's on the couch currently with her fiancee. Or my Uncle as I call him." Charlie said, Michael seemed disgusted by that but allowed Charlie to lead him over to the couch. Seeing Nyx with a sinner made Michael disgusted to no end.
But he pretended to not let it bother him, so with a deep breath he cleared his throat. "Nyx? Father requests you, you are to spend 2 weeks in Heaven with family." Michael said.
"2 Weeks? I mean sure. I wouldn't mind spending time with family." Nyx gets up, a grunt coming from Husk. He didn't like that she got up from her spot.
"If she's leaving I'm going with her too." Husk said, Michael grimaced and shook his head.
"I'm sorry, but we don't allow Sinners in Heaven. You're just are going to have to stay here." Michael said.
Husk chuckles and shook his head in return. "I do hope you realize she's my responsibility, she's having my kid and I promised to take care of her, and if that means following her to Heaven, then so be it."
Michael has a chuckle of his own, but it sounded aggressive. "I do hope you realize that I don't care, we don't like your kind in Heaven."
"What's that supposed to mean? Nyx believes in redemption. So maybe I can be redeemed!" Husk said, Michael shook his head.
"You don't get it, do you? You won't ever be redeemed because you're a sinner, you done something bad and you ended up here. The only way you'll ever enter Heaven is if you died and went there. But judging by you're absence in Heaven, that means you're stuck here." Michael said.
"I can and will be redeemed, you'll just wait." Husk grits his teeth.
"I'll believe it when I see it." Michael said, "Now come, Nyx we don't have all day."
Nyx took a look at Husk's angered expression, his ears flattened on his head as he looked away. Nyx turned back to face Michael.
"I'm not leaving, unless my Fiancee is allowed to come along." Nyx said, annoying Michael.
"Nyx, sinners aren't allowed in Heaven." Michael said plainly.
"Yet he visited once, and you know they can be redeemed you're just lying to yourself." Nyx said.
"...Michael, you should let her bring Husk, she needs him as much as he needs her, their love is genuine." Gabriel spoke up, they were silent for a bit, but watching Michael bully their soon to be brother in law, Gabriel couldn't stand there and watch it happen. So they decided to chime in.
"Ugh, fine. Whatever. Fuck the rules I guess. Fine, sinner you can come along but any fuck ups you're out." Michael said. Husk smirked in triumph before hugging Nyx.
"Go and pack or whatever, we'll be waiting here." Michael said. Husk and Nyx walks up the stairs.
Nyx finished packing before Husk and she headed downstairs, Husk was busy packing his bags and he heard a knock on the door, it was Angel Dust.
"Hey, Angel Dust." Husk said.
"Hey, so I'm guessing this is it? You'll be gone with Nyx for 2 weeks?" Angel Dust asked.
"Yeah. I'm heading out." Husk said.
"Whose going to pour me drinks?!" Angel Dust asked.
"I hired someone for 2 weeks to take my place, until they arrive you can help yourself to what I have in the bar." Husk said.
"Oh sweet thanks!" Angel Dust said.
"Only a little bit. Not all of them." Husk said. Angel Dust groaned.
"You're no fun!" Angel Dust said.
"Well, I'll have Alastor watch over you in case you break those rules." Husk said, closing the suitcase.
Angel Dust groaned and slinked away. Husk checked his and Nyx's room in case he's forgotten something before being jump scared by Alastor.
"Oh fuck!" Husk said, holding his heart. "You scared me "
Alastor chuckles and looked at him with a dark look. "So, you're going to Heaven for two weeks, huh?" Alastor asked.
"Yes, what about it? Do I need your permission to leave?" Husk asked, trying not to sound annoyed.
"Normally, under any circumstances I would say yes, but seeing as I'm feeling quite... Generous today, I am allowing you to go since Nyx needed you." Alastor said.
"Really, what's the catch?" Husk asked, arching an eyebrow. Alastor allowing him to leave to be with his fiancee seemed sketchy especially if you don't know if his motives are genuine or just tricks.
"There's no catch. It's just me doing something nice for you." Alastor commented.
"If that's the case, can you make sure Angel Dust doesn't drink all my stock?" Husk asked.
"Sure, but be expected to do something in return when you come back." Alastor said, Husk sighed.
"That's fine by me." Husk said, Alastor could only smile in response as he disappeared into a dark red mist. Once Husk was certain he got everything he took the bag and headed downstairs where Nyx was waiting alongside Gabriel and Michael.
Charlie was standing across from Michael and turned around to face Husk and she ran to hug Husk.
"I can't believe you two are going to Heaven for 2 Weeks. I hope you guys are okay!" Charlie said.
"We're going to be fine, we'll be back before you know it." Husk said, reassuring Charlie, Charlie sniffles and wipes her nose and smiled.
"Okay, I understand. See you both in 2 Weeks." Charlie said, Gabriel opens a portal and Husk, Nyx and Michael entered it as it closes after Gabriel.
"I hope they are going to be okay..."
