Elsewhere in soul society Max had shikai out growling at a Ninja they had a flute shaped like a duck bills crest playing it to send off a sonic attack, Max growled at the sound jumping away roaring trying to block it out as he span his weapon, summoning mask for "Cero electro!" to fire off his thunder cero.

In his inner world his zanpukto spirit was in pain, "Oh good, the sound it's like a dog whistle for hollows King, Oh fuck it hurts it's like listening to drunk dad get drunk and try to do karaoke to modern pop songs on new years but the speakers are on full blast." he groaned, That was vivid wasn't it?

The ninja's sound made a wall of sound to protect it. Max jumped back, so far the flute could cause pain, and now it could block attacks, if it can defend then it means, Max was soon knocked back as a bullet of sound hit him sending him up in the air, "yep it has a sonic attack. I would say resurrection but We have enhanced senses like that, the pain attack will be worst." he removed his mask he had to go with out. he moved dashing along the air in bursts axe out spinning it to summon lighting around him, as he jumped when he heard the Ninja play and throw, his weapon span covered in lighting traveling towards the Ninja, who made the sound wall sending it flying back to Max who caught it. "Okay is it one directional though?"

The spirit held his chin drawing, stick figure behind wall, "yes is it wall." then stick figure in a bubble, "or bubble protecting from all directions That is a good question King!" he held his chin blinking, "you just thinking this well as duck bill dinos remind you of pairs which makes you think of Zoe , so this Ninja is twisting your girlfriend's image by using her symbols for evil, which agreed Ninja must die for this king, but you said it yourself resurrection would make song of pain hurt more, yet hollow form is our only multidrection attack power, we do it ouch, we don't ouch, we pinned."

Max growled jumping when he saw a note play just figuring it was sound bullet, " We have no choice resurrection" he transformed and with speed made one clone, the Ninja played the pain song, making the two roar in pain as they fired off Balas. Two balas hit, and the Ninja was only able to stop the front one not the back one, the clone vanished as Max fell on a roof hollow form shattering form the pain song, the Ninja died of bala through the chest, making the bakkoto fall.

Max summoned his mask for healing and rolled over the roof to the ground landing face first weapon sealing to Katana. he used it as crotch to stand and walk, and he stabbed the parasite flute.

The spirit inside his head said one thing, "...this will do king, this will do...We won, just barely because OUCH OUR EARS!" he said hitting his head making blood come out the ear on the other side, like he had water in it, "Oh we will be deef for two hours while the mask regenerates them." This is why Max was having trouble standing, the inner ear is what let's us balance, no inner ear no balance, so he is going to be barely able to stand till he regenerates his ear's inner workings.

The next day, Zoe was looking in Max's ears making sure they regenerated, he was walking fine and he was healing she was just making double sure, something his mother's did, " Well you look fine." Note they where still in Lisa's house.

Max nodded saying one thing, "yes now One good think came out of this, the Ninja had a note hidden in the flute, and they where able to tape it together again so I got a clue, one the bigger dogs will investigate."
