Chapter 6:Taken Part 1
Inside another part of atlas command early with velvet and grinch. Marco was leading them through the vast halls of the facility right now. Although velvet was nervous right now seeing all the armed soldiers around them. They were behind enemy lines but it was quite nerve racking to be this deep as she was worried for the others right now. Along with that her father
They kept walking past several armed soldier who didn't even pay them any mind. While marco lead them to RND as he kept scanning the place glancing at a security camera as they walked past it before he stared ahead
"Man this is weird pretending i don't know anyone here. Saw a few of my buddies early"grinch whispered
"Well your buddies will shoot you on sight if they see you. Though we need to RND fast"marco whispered back
Velvet kept messing with her shirt right now several times as this entire outfit was making it hard to breath. While she kept messing with it she didn't like this uniform in the slightest. But as she kept messing with it soon she bumped into someone as she fell flat on her butt with a yelp
"Ow! Why do i always run into people"velvet said before looking up to see who it was that being an atlas captain. As he stared at her offering a hand as he helped her up
"Well maybe if you remove that helmet of your rabbit then you would see better. Seems a little big on you"the captain said
"Welll umm…i need to stay in uniform um sir"velvet said stuttering recalling the military code her boyfriend taught her along with the ace ops. The captain stared at her then at marco for a moment
"Where are you off to right now?"he questioned as marco presented the can of liquid nitrogen
"Were off to drop some supplies off for RND these two are escorting me their."marco replied
'Really who is your commanding officer?"the captain aksed making them flinch as they didn't expect that right now. They got quiet with grinch keeping a steady finger on the trigger incase they need to run and gun their way out of here. Then the captain narrowed his gaze
"I asked you who your commanding officer is…who is it?"he asked again
"Well sir you see…are commanding officer is–"grinch was stopped as a familiar voice called out to them
"Yo ground grunt chill out their with noble. That guy sent them to guard marco and crap i saw them talk to him not that long ago"peggy spoke up surprising them to see her here as the captain stared at her for a moment
"Are you sure? Because i need to radio her an–"the captain was stopped before the alarm started to blair to life. As the light went red in the halls as it signaled an intetruder was sighted inside the building right now.
"Everyone please be advised we have a security level threat dectected in the compound. Status alert level 3 red. Lockdown is initiated. Authorization to use lethal force on threats."dorian said through the speakers
Suddenly everyone in the halls started to go on high alert with the soldiers in the base starting to search for the intruder. As the captain drew out his sidearm at the ready
"Dammit intruders…you four head to RND and protect our researchers. Those intruder may try to kidnap will scarltina"the captain said confusing them
"Why would he do that?"grinch questioned as the man looked at them strangely
"Because those traditor killed three of the council along with all our general. Ironwood is the only one left. Now get a move on"he ordered sprtining off down the hall as they all looked shocked to hear three of the council was dead.
"I…i…oh no that means sleet…camilia and…robyn maybe might be dead"velvet said with worry
"Then we gotta hustle to RND and grab will come on. You with us pegs?"grinch asked as she knew it was them nodding
"Yep i don't mind helping out my old drinking buddy lets go"peggy said drawing a pistol as they spritned down the blairng halls filled with red.
They kept sprinting down the hallways of the maze like facility. They were stopped by a few guards but they said they had orders to protect will which they didn't even question. They kept running down the halls as they managed to finally get to RND. but noticed the doors to the room was open as right now inside was will
But right now he was being forced to do something with some beakers right now. That was trying to replicate carmine syringes as he knew part of the recipe for them. But he didn't have the key ingredient as watching over him was an atlas soldier but they were acting strange right now.
"Hurry up vermin the quicker you get this done the qucker we can accomplish our goal with our queen"The soldier said but in relaity was a hidden talon soldier
Will growled as he spilled the liquid from the beaker onto the table as he sighed pressing his fingers on his temple
"I can;t work under these conditions with you breathing down my neck"will growled irritated right now as the soldier stared him down before rifle checking him in the face. This sent him onto the ground as the soldier raised their rifle at his head to give him a warning shot
"Shut up worm because when your done yo–"he was stopped as velvet came rushing in bashing the soldier in the head with the rifle. The force was enough to knock them to the ground as they fell to the ground knocked out.
"Don't. Hit. my. Dad"velvet said as will looked up grabbing his glasses as he thought he was hearing thing as he blinked regianing his vision staring at the soldier with rabbit ears befoe going wide eyed
"Sweetie…sweetie is that you?"he asked smiling as she quickly removed her helmet revealing it to be her. She quickly helped him up hugging him happy to see him alive right now.
"Dad your okay…i was worried sick for you right now…i…i thought i lost you"velvet cried but he pulled her back laughing
"If you count them holding me in a prison cell with hill and merlot."will said to their surprise they were alive right now
"Their alive…then lets grab em and blow this joint"grinch said but he had bad news on that
"Bad news…they are being held in the prison all the guards have been replaced with talon. Though why are you here, you here for a rescue mission or something"will asked as he was sort of right
"Well we came to get amity started sir. But right now we need to find the stash of syringes that carmine left behind. You know where they are?"grinch asked as will smiled because he does know where she hide them
Walking over to carmine desk he knelt down as he found a grove in the floor as this was a secret hatch they installed her. He lifted up a sheet that had a bioscanner. Placing his hand on it the scanner scanned his hand before beeping turning green
Then it slowly opened to reveal something inside that being two metal cases that looked like briefcase. Picking the two up he placed them on the table opening the latch to reveal what was inside. That being about twenty syringes with an icy mist surrounding them
"If your wondering about the rest me and merlot smashed all of them throwing them down the drain. Though…merlot did nail dorian with one when he came to negotiate"will said with air quotes
"Well then lets get out of here and grab the others"grinch said
"Yeah although…mind if me and my crew join you. Because well i don't buy for a fact that you all are traditor. Shu dumb son is a crook thats a fact. But he would never let a kingdom burn hes got a kind heart"peggy said as they smiled because that was their plan
"If you can grab them then lets head to the hanger"marco said as they approached the door as suddenly a atlas soldier appeared pointing their rifle in their face
'Hold it scumbags your trespassing…your the traditor the general wants shot on sight. You murderer wi–"he was stopped as something hit him behind the head as he groaned falling to the ground. They looked up seeing may their as she reappeared waving to them
"Lets get moving everyone because we got some mantas and fighter jets to steal"may said as they quickly dashed off to the barrack to grab some of the atlas valkyires for their cause along with making sure to contact the others along the way as velvet hoped her partners were okay right now
But right now in the server room zane and penny where doing one thing. That was fighting against ace ops as the two proved to be a good team. With penny fyling around in the air launching her swords forward to try and imoblize them right now. She was busy fighting with vine and marrow right now. As the wolf kept pointing his hand at her trying to freeze her in place
"Stay!"he shouted but he missed as she ignited her jet boots to launch herself forward to avoid being frozen by him. While vine kept trying to grab her with his aura hands extending them trying to snatch her up. But he missed as she sent a swarm of swords at him cutting into his aura a few times
But he wasn;t giving up as he launched his hands upward to a pipe. He pulled himself forward right in penny flight path. The cyborg didn't expect for him to kick her in the side making her go flying straight into a wall hard. Penny landed on the ground with a thud as vine approached her cracking his knuckles
"You will die here girl…because your just some hunk of scrpa metal"vine said with lamia voice mixed in
Hearing those words penny growled as she raised her hand charing up a lazer blast
"I'm not some hunk of scrap!"penny said anger as she blasted him away from her. The charge was so strong it sent him flying onto the ground hard as he slowly picked himself up to get back into the fight
Before penny knew it suddenly marrow came rushing in with his boomerang out. He sliced downward onto her trying to cut her arm or leg off. But penny dodged it firing off a small blast with her jet boots to sidestep him. Then she reeled her leg back kicking him in the side making him growl
"You'll pay for that bot"he growled trying to slice her again with his boomerang. But she was much quicker as she quickly grabbed two of her swords before taking a page out of someone else book. She held both of them in hand as she had some combat training with mariana in the last three month
" i'm sorry to do this but you left me with no choice"penny siad before lugning forward with the two swords as she swung them forward trying to slice his aura down right now. As she did he managed to dodge one hit. But another one came at him taking a large piece of his aura down right now. The wolf growled continuing his assualt against the cybord
But with zane he was not having a great time on who he was fighting. He was dealing with the heavy hitter of the team along with clover. This just spelled trouble with him as he knew how to take elm down. But right now he was in his titan form taking some of elm hammer swings into his body.
One of them hit him hard in the moving him back but he grunted as he had both katana out. Wanting to try something. He quickly tried to activate the upgrades on the two blades. But he was quickly intercepted by clover who spin kicked him back sending him flying down the cat walk
As he picked himself up the soilder cracked his neck stepping forward as he stared him down with the intent to kill right now
"You will either die here traditor or i'll just break your legs to bring you to our mother"clover said with lamis words
The hybrid stayed on the ground finding this to be very heartbreaking having to fight with these two right now. But he sighed molting off his armor grabbing both katana holding remorse facing forward with merciless backward as he got in an offensive stance
"Hey lamia if your hearing this wanna know a secret about clove?"he asked which made the puppet of lamia stand their confused
"That would be what?"she asked as he grinned
Dashing forward he brought up both swords to try and attack him. As clover riased his sword to block it but he went for something else. That being clover bad knee as he kicked him hard which caused immense pain for the man. Clover cried out in pain falling to one knee as zane nerouvsly laughed
"Sorry clove had to do it too you…though next time we fight when i find a way to free you. I'll give you a free shot"zane said
"Their won't be a next time omega"elm said as she reeled her hammer back pressing a button. The rockets on the back ignited as she went flying forward straight into him. She swung her hammer hard into him making contact as it sent him flying onto the hall behind him. Luckily he didn't hit the eltrcifed wall as he panted for a moment shaking his head.
He need to come up with a new strategy to fight her right now. As he quickly sheathed his katana as he grabbed nightshade extending it in its scythe mode. But twisting the dial he landed on the sword mode deciding to try this one out after a while
Suddenly the scythe started to collapse as the blade then went from being curved as it straight up. As it clicked into place before it turned into a long blade with the long handle starting to shrink down as the grip was replaced by a leather sword grip. With the sword hilt having dark blue accents along it with the silver skull on the hilt with glowing blue eyes. With the blade being silver as it shined in the light
Then he twisted the dial again making it be in its shotgun mode. But he still kept it in its blade form.
"Alright elm you wanna go…then let go."zane said dashing foward as elm came straight for him with the intent to kill him right now
Elsewhere on the other side of the door weiss had summon her arma geigas to break down the door. The summon mistress pointed forward as it swung hard into the door to break it down. But as it made contact it was fatal as the eletricty ran through it making it dispepear
"Four verus two…fricking coward!"razma shouted on the otherside hoping they can hear her taunting
"Come on we gotta find a way through if they get them were gonna lose are one chance to kill salem"weiss said with worrie
Yumi was on the ground typing away on her computer as she plugged herself into the door right now. While she was trying to jailbreak through the many firewalls. Nora stared at the door for a moment eyeing her hammer
"I could get through and use my semblance. I can handle the charge"nora said about to swing her hammer into the door. But blake stopped her
"Nora no! You'll get hurt this much electricity will probably kill you let yumi work. She can get us through"blake said as the ginger relcutinly agreed with her right now
"How far are we on getting through?"ruby asked as the panda faunus kept typing as fast as she could to open the door
"I guess about gah a minute"yumi said with a worried look as sweat was coming off her forehead right now
"Well that might give them enough time for my boyfriend to whoop those guys butts"razma said worried for him right now along with velvet wondering where she was right now in this large facility
Back on the otherside right now penny was busy fighting with vine and marrow again. The two this time where double teaming her right now. As she was holding back vine who kept delvieirng several deadly blows with his hands as he plam striked her back while she blocked it with her swords
But this came marrow the chance to use his semblance on her right now
"Stay!"he shouted as it parlayzed the bot in place as she could't even move.
Vine then shot his aura hand foward grabbing her as marrow unfroze her. Then the monk lifted her in the air slamming her down hard as penny bounced slightly. Then he began to toss her around like a ragdoll all over the place
Then as she got thrown onto the ground one last time he reeled his arms back ready to throw her again. Until suddenly he got shot at from above by silent shots. This made him drop her as penny landed on the ground groaning as she picked herself up
Looking up she noticed a familiar person standing on a nearby pipe that being ciel as penny went wide eyed smiling to see her
"Ciel your okay!"she called out
Marrow growled pointing his assault rifle firing at her. But ciel took off running while she carried a mp5 in hand with a suppressor on it. She then began to fire several shot at him to try and stun him. While she did a few hit him as vine got back up ready to use his aura hands on her
But as he did penny picked herself using her rockers boots to launch herself foward straight into him. This resulted in vine being launched into a wall hard as they continued their fight right now
With zane he was busy fighting with elm as he swung the longsword down on it trying to knock her aura down. But she was much tougher than him as she tanked the hit. Then reeled her fist back punching him in the gut making him gasp for air for a moment
Falling to his knees for a moment elm raised her hammer to finish him off. As she swung it down hard like she was playing whack a mole. But he rolled off the edge falling off of it as she went wide eyed as salem needed him alive.
Running to the edge she saw no trace of him as through her eyes lamia watch growling right now. But from below he didn't fall as coming right back up with a loud shotgun balst going off. It sent him flting back up as he release the grappling hook
Flicking the sword backward he launched himself forward straight into elm dealing massive damage with the hit. As this made her aura flicker as she was pushed back close to the eltricfied wall. But something happened as she backed up away from it which he noticed wondering something right now.
Switching to the shotgun he qucikly grabbed a couple eletric dust shells loading them into the shotgun. He raised it at her ready to fire a shot off but from behind clover lunged foward spin kicking him in the back. This sent him straight toward elm who socked him in the jaw sending him to the ground as he groaned trying to pick himself up. But she placed her foot on his chest
Clover walked over with a set of gravity bola twirling them ready to capture him
"Your going to come with us omega weather y–"he was stopped as zane grabbed the shotgun before firing a eletric dust shot straight into his chest sending him onto the ground
As clover fell to the ground cuvlusing with electricity all around him. Suddenly something happened as he screamed in immense pain before he started to gag and heave right now. Soon enough the bug inside him was forcing it way out of his mouth making the hybrid go wide eyed as he smiled
"Hey clove their you are buddy….you in control!"he called out as back in the control room lamia screamed in pain getting the others attention
"Lamia what happened?"dorian asked concerned as she looked up growling at them
"They found out how to remove my prastie…those pest just freed the leader of their group. Shut down the electric door before they use it to free the rest of my puppers"lamia said
Scar immediately got to work shutting down the down with electric right now. As yumi was almost done opening the door as just then the electric shut off confusing them. With the door opening to reveal something that being clover who held the larvee in his hand crushing in his grip making them go wide eyed
"Oh my god…i…you freed him!"yumi shouted. With clover laughed he as he sighed twirling his sword
"Well lookie here…i'm free of that masked grimm freak. Because now your gonna pay for what you did to mactavish. "Clover said pointing it at elm as still in control was lamia who growled
"Insolent pest you'll perish for this….die!"elm shotued bringing her hammer forward to smash him. But the lucky soldier dodged her strike easily before spin kicking her back as he smiled at the group
"Okay…we can talk about this later we gotta move"ruby said as penny and ciel just knocked back marrow and vine who regroup with elm. They all stared them down outnumbering them but clover stepped forward as he stared at them with a soft look
"You kids get out of her right now i;ll hold them off"Clover ordered
"No…no i just freed you…we can free them all i gotta do is shoot eletric dust in them to fry the worm"zane said but the man looked at the kid he watched after all these years sighing as they were close to the exit door. Then suddenly he tossed a hardlight dust grenade on the ground
Then before their eyes a hardlight dust wall appeared right infront of them as clover was on the other side. Zane went wide eyed as he began to pound on the dust wall
"Dammit ebi! You have a death wish or something we can save them!"he shouted with tears forming as the man stared at them with a soft expression
"I can handle these guys besides i got alot more luck than you…now get out of here and get your message across. You can save me again just shoot me with eletricity"clover siad doing a finger salute as they stayed silent for a moment
Before ruby got a serious look on her face as she held harbinger on her back as it felt heavy. But she fave him a confiendnet nod
"We will and….please be safe"ruby said as they all stared at her but yumi heard soldiers approaching them as she saw no other option
"Lets get going now"yumi said
Reluntely they all agreed as zane stared at the man he viewed like family nodding to him as he ran away. Once they were gone clover sighed as he'll make sure they get enough time to escape right now as he dashed forward to fight his squadmates
As they were running down the halls they were surprised to see ciel even here right along with her being alive
"Okay i'm happy we just figured out a way to save ace ops. But…how are you even alive"razma questioned
"Or capture because uh…wait a minute hey thats my submachine gun!"zane shouted noticing the resemblance as the girl rolled her eyes staring at him
"Well i needed a weapon and you got pelnty to spare. Heck i snatch all of them thanks to that little cube i snatch from that tentacle grimm hybrid"ciel said revealing a cube in hand to their confusion
'Whats so special about a little cube?"weiss asked as they ran. Ciel placed the machine gun near the cube before it got stuck up to their surprise. Then she reached inside pulling out a silence pistol holding it up high.
"Well isn't that handy a portable storage device…though how did you survive"razma asked as they kept running through the halls luckily avoiding some of the guards right now.
Ciel breathed to catch her breath"i hide in the vents here when i was with merlot and will. I was starting to go crazy in their worried if you all didn't make it"she said as penny smiled
"I'm happy my best friend is safe"penny said before eyeing ruby for a moment who stared at her
"Along with ruby shes my best friend too"penny added making the teen smile apprecaitng that
As they kept running soon enough they arrived at the hanger right now to see something. That being velvet who removed her helmet right now with her atlas attire. As she had a digitized copy of coco minigun. She was firing down a swarm of altas ak-200 shreding them to complete pieces
Along with that they noticed several people in flight suits beginning to refuel and load up some fighter jets right now. All of them being directed and ordered by peggy with gran vio their assisting ther on checking over the airhsips they planned to use
"Get these birds ready to fly in twenty second we gotta move before they send in a grimm knight"peggy demanded as they were working as fast as they could. When velvet was done desotrying the bot she looked to see the others as she smiled
"You guys are okay did you get amity access?"she asked as they rushed over with grinch looking surprised to see ciel their
"The hell…your here kid?"girnch asked
"Questions for later because we gotta move clover is busy holding off the other ace ops"ciel siad which confused them because they thought he was under mind control
"What are you talking about kid hes under mind control hello…why would he fight against his fellow puppet"peggy replied but they had the best news ever on what they figured out
"We figured out how to break it its electricity. We can force the parasite out with electricity."blake said excited making them go wide eyed as velvet smiled hearing they could save them as grinch laughed loudly
"Oh what a pathetic excuse for a semblance well lets get going. Because next time we run into we just gotta shoot them with eltricity dust"he said before suddenly someone called out to them
"Ohhhh your not going anyway right now…because greeting you pathetic bastard"scar said emerging from a doorway with dorian and adder by his side. As they had a small sqaud of talon soilders measuring in about ten.
They all drew their weapons pointing it direclty at them as dorian stepped forward laughing
"So you managed to conquer our little parasite trick brave ho. Though will…your suppose to be in the lab working on our project"dorian said smugly
Will growled"i'm not helping you make a counter measure for the syringes. Because your just a piece of scum dorian. Your a disgrace to what make science for the betterment of mankind"he said in anger toward the madman
But the goliath knight simply laughed at that little rant of his sighing
"I'm doing this for the will of my queen right now and now i need to silence you. Because well…first off i'm going to kill you all. Then bring silver eyes to my queen after that well…omega will rejoin us"dorian said
But zane stared at the goliath knight for a moment before he began to laugh at him. The he went into full blown laughter as he held his head sighing with a smile on his face staring him down along with scar
'Hey scar you wanna hear something funny"he asked making him growl at him
"I don't have time for your jokes you pathetic excuse for a genetic experiment"scar said but he decided to just mock him
"It was so funny to see your dad dead on the gorund. Lifeless as my mom beat the ever living hell out of him slowly. While we burned his corpse…guess it'll take a while for him to come back a grimm freak"zane said taunting him
Scar stared at him for a moment with anger boiling in his veins right now. Before he roared in rage putting his hand in the air
"Kill them all! Hes mine!"scar shouted in rage as the talon soldier took aim beginning to open fire on them right now. As they all ducked for cover with the atlas valkrites returning covering fire at them to provide some backup. With dorian approaching them as he had the case on his back
Grabbing it he dropped it to the ground as it made a loud thud. Then as it fell onto its side he bent down undoing the latches on it to open it up revealing what was inside. That being a crank hand gattling gun as he picked it up lifting it easily as he aimmed it at them
Grinch went wide eyed"everyone get donw!"he shouted as they all ducked for cover with dorian beginning to fire a barrage of lead at them. All the bullets came at them hard right now as they all tried to avoid it. All of them did with yumi getting hit in the shoulder
"Mother….oh i hate minigun!"yumi shouted as her shoulder began to bleed. Ciel tore a piece of her skirt off quickly wrapping it around her arm to stop the bleeding for now
As they all took cover aoviidng the gunfire ruby stared at zane as the two of them shared a look
"Mind going into your monster form…i know its risky right now bu–"she was stopped
"So what if i lose a month of my lifespan. My cousin says right now i'll die at around oh lets see…sixty seven. If i get kids i'll still see my grandchildren"he joked making razma laugh
"Aww is that a marriage proposal"razma joked with will shaking his head
"Please get to it because if we survive this maybe i'll consider it"will siad making his daughter surprised
As zane began to go into his archangel form right now as he started to grow in size. With large white spikes emerging from his spine then after that a large tail with a boneshard appeared. After that he started to extend his hands as the talon shot out of his hands. Soon enough he was in his archangel form getting on all four snarling at them
This made dorian pause as he was out of ammo. But scar paused frozen soild right now as he stared at him. Because he was deathly afraid of that before he started to back peddle as he stared at adder
"You attacked him before in that form do it again!"scar demand with adder staring at him for a moment
"I only manage to because i–"he was stopped as scar grabbed him by the collar in fear
"Just imbolize the dam thing i'm not having my arms get torn off again!"scar said in fear as the snake faunus sighed dashing forward with his sword to deal with him again like he did during the fall
The creature saw this snarling as it leopard forward straight toward the soilders jumping over the snake faunus. As the creature tail whipped all of them straight into a wall as they all screamed going flying into the wall. Then it turned its attention toward dorian who laughed as he threw his minigun to the side
"This will be like old times…if you remember me i'm quitte tough to handle. Lets go"dorian said as the creature roared in response lunging forward slicing at him several times. But to its shock it bounced off of dorians skin like nothing. As he shredded his clothing revealing something his skin was metal in color as the goliath hybrid smiled under his mask
"Surrpised are we….well this is my semblance i can change the chemical compound of my body. Mainly i use it for well…to make my skin hard as iron"dorian said as he activated it coating his two hands in metal as he smacked his fist together
Penny saw this as adder turned their attention to them now. As he dashed forward with her sending a sword forward but he deflected it sending it flying straight into a wall. He leaped foward as he was cut off by weiss as the two blades clashed with each
The two of them stared each other down but adder glanced at scar who was busy cowering in fear at the sight of zane in his archangel form while he was busy fighting with dorian. The snake faunus stared at her as the heiress chuckled
"I saw what you did to jacque…seems someone got their wish"weiss said surprising him as he growled pushing forward slightly
"So you saw his corpse…that means you also saw what happned to…"he paused on the words eyeing ruby who was busy providing sniper fire at dorian with loud gunshots ringing out in the hanger. While weiss noticed this
"Adder…come with us…help us you can escape"weiss said as he stared at her looking away sighing as he broke their power struggle moving her back as he stared her down
"I'm sorry i must serve salem…if i serve her she'll capture my sister and nephew. She…she promise to let them be by my side for their safety"adder said but hesitated on those words which razma noticed joining weiss side laughing at that
"Oh man you really think a scumbag like her will hold that end of the deal. You killed jacque now what…you just gonna keep working for monster"Razma taunted making him visible back up as blake eyed the others
'Get the hanger doors opened"blake said
"On it… cover them with grenade shell dorians will run out of strength soon i'm sure"will said as peggy laughed at that
"Well lookie here we got our little mascot for the atlas valkryies"peggy joked making nora laugh
"I'm more of the queen of the valrkiye and…"nora paused before aiming her grenade launcher at dorian smiling
"I'm also the the queen of the castleeeee!"she added screaming firing off several shells in dorian direction.
