Chapter 7:Taken part 2
Elsewhere back down in mantle right now with eria and the others they were just finishing up dealing with vice vest. Who were in the process of burning down one of the many hospital. But right now they were bsuy fighting off these low payed grunts right now
Mantle police along with martinez and a couple sparatan were shooting them down not even carrying if they were alive. As martinez aimed his rifle staring through the scope firing direclty into a mobster head casuing brian damage as they fell back dead to the ground
Although some others decided to not kill them as may perched on a nearby truck. She layed down staring through her scope firing a puprle beam straight into a mobster taking them down. Switching target she eyed a couple husk coming their way as she exhaled firing a shot off. The the bullet went flying going striaght through their skulls
As with them was someone else that being a gravekeeper. They were in a light red organic material. As he armor form seemed to be her warrior form right now. As her arm looked strange as it seemed to be like a crossbow was built into her body. While she had a mask that resemble a pilot hat with aviators goggles
But she raised her arm firing off a few bone shard quills into some grimm that were coming their way. She cut them down as maris spritned forward skating in her warrior form spin kicking the last mobster in the jaw as she sighed molting her armor off panting right now
"Oh man this so exhausting…hey anyone got one of those boosters i can borrow"she asked sitting on the ground panting right now. May hoped down scoffing
"We need to save them right now we don't have many"may rudely said angering her as the other gravekeeper scoffed at her
"Girl treat my little niece like that again and yoru dead"The women said as she molted her amror off to reveal her appearance
That being a women who seemed in her late twenties with slightly tanned skinned. Her hair was brunette colroed while she had dark blue eyes like the rest of her family. She had a slender figure to her with a decent dized bust. While she also wore a piar of maroon yoga pants with a red zip up tracksuit with a old bi design on the back of it

May glared at her ready to fight her but suddenly a hand was put infront of her. Which was ren as he stared her down for that shaking his head seeing she was anger but also worried
"You need to stop starting fights with them we need to get everyone else out"ren said though speeding out of the building right carrying an old women in a patient gown was lazuli who panted coughing from all the smoke. Though right on her tail was eria who used her ice to quell the fires as behind her was hospital staff guidng patients out of the building
"Oh my god…i'm so tired….god i hate fire"lazuli said setting the old women gently onto the ground as the old women laughed
"Well dearie you did a kind act thank you for saving my life"she thanked making the thief feel good to hear that right now.
As the mistral police offiers and acolyte got to work on grabbing the hoosptial patients and loaidng them up into a truck they managed to grab. Martinez sighed walking over
"Man this was a piece of cake. I mean these two bit gangster all don't have semblnaces even"martienx said laughing at it
"Yeah though…me and maris here are getting exhausted. We might need to head back unless someone give one of us one of those syringes. "Ameilla said but lazuli glared at her shoving her back
"We need them. Because you sound like some junkie needing her fix"lazuli taunted as the women glared at her
"Kid i can kill grimm alot quciker than you can right now. We need to work together you either give us an aura booster or your on your own"ameilla said coldly
"Fine we can handle ourselves just fine"lazuli siad
But eria sighed"oh for….your all children"She said taking the pouch off lazuli hip that contained three syringes. She took one out jabbing maris in the leg as she yelped but went wide eyed feeling a surge of energy in her veins
"Whoa! Man i feel energetic…seems one of my cousin teammates isn't a jerk."maris said codlly as lazuli and may glared at her. May walked over shoving her back slightly
"Are you serious?! We need those for when we run into grimm knight we can't just use them like their is a unlimited supply of them"may said but the dancer pointed a finger in her face
"Oh would you shut up. Because right now i'm out here on my leader behalf"eria said confusing them as ren looked at her seeing light blue petals meaning shes worried about someone. Maybe her teammates and sister
'Are you worried about him and the others?"he asked as she nodded surprising maris
"Uhh i'm pretty sure you'd be mad at my cousin for the stunt he pulled lying to you or whatever"maris said as the dancer had a reason
"Well hes smart and i'm sure he had a good reason to do it. Because well…my partner can get emotional. Along with that what i heard from the construction yard she almost killed ollie"eria said
'Alright but she did now so what"lazuli rudely said as the dancer jabbed her in the side making her anger
"What was that for?"she asked with anger boiling
"For being a complete idiot. You, adam along with my twin sister and partner jumped to conclusions. I can tell that women felt guilty for what she did. I should know…since i well…you know"Eria said as ren nodded in agreement with her
"We all need to work together if we will make it out of this. I'm very worried for nora right now but…'Ren paused as he sighed into a smile
"I'm sure the others are doing just fine. Along with that i can admit blair is very emotional when lied to"he added as they thought about them for a moment
'Hey speaking of them right now what are they doing right now"may questioned as eria pulled her communicator out before dialing her sister placing her on speaker. It rang for a bit till she picked up
"Oh rogue their you are wh–"She was stopped as she spoke up screaming
"Sis! We need help we ran into a weird grimm on the east side!"rogue said confusing them for a moment as lazuli chuckled
"Oh come on a weird grimm just burn it or whatever."lazuli said but she had news on the grimm
"Well this grimm is smart! Along with that it talks and is after oscar!"rogue shouted with worry on the other end startling them to hear another grimm was able to talk as may jaw dropped in shock
"Are you kidding me?!"may shotued
"Come on we need to get over their pronto you can handle the civlians here right?"marteinez asked with amille nodding to him
"Go help out choka and the others maris. We got this"ameille ordered as she nodded before turning into her aerial form. Then with a mighty flap of her wings she flew over to the east side as they got on their rhinos chasing after them hopefully to get their on time right
But with the others they were having a tough time with this strange new grimm. Because it kept predicting all their attacks. Along with summoning help in the form of a pack of beowulfs right now who kept attacking them. But the creature kept going for oscar the entire time but defendign him was onxyia, jaune and rogue. But the creaute also went for the two.
As the grimm swiped its claws at rogue narrowly missing her as she fired several bullets into its back to try and weakne it. But it dodged and weaved through he gunfire before swinging its arm into her sending her flying hard into a car dealing damage to her aura to her confusion and deju vu
"God i hate this! This is just like the night in vale!"rogue shouted in annoyance as yang slide into view panting as she was just finished killing a few beowulf with her gaunlents
"Well whatever this thing is….it better not be grimm boy long lost family. I rather not kill another one of them"yang said firing her gaunlents off at the grimm but it dodged them hiding behind a car for cover. As this grimm was smarter compared to the rest of its fellow monsters
Jaune groaned"how smart is this thing! Its avoiding gunfire by ducking behind vehicles!"jaune shouted in annoyance
"I don't know but we need to keep it away from oscar"onxyia said
"But what about you two its after you since well…uhhh…"he paused as the wolf scoffed
"Because my stupid boyfriend scent is all over me. Guess hes causing problems and lying to me just great"onxyia said making jaune glare at her for a moment
Though the grimm soon started to pick up the car using it strenght as to their shock it threw the car straight at them. Luckily in time they all jumped out of the way as it smashed straight into a building crashing it through a wall. As they needed to come up with a strategy to defeat this new grimm right now
With cardin and bonne the two were protecting choka right now who was the ground. But she wasn't looking to good as she kept coughing up blood groanign and queitly cying in pain right now from that impact early
Though cardin threw his mace forward bashing a sabyr straight in the skull killing it. As he riased his shield up in time to block a beowulf from attacking.
Thinking quick on his feet as the grimm brought its claws down to shred but instead. He side stepped it reeling his mace back whacking its leg hard enough making a cracking noise. He broke its leg making it cry out in pain but he bashed its skull in killing it as it turned to dust
"I got mine wukong how are you doing?"he called out
As bonet right now was busy fighting off two grimm right now. As she dodged one of their strikes with her acrobats vaulting over it kicking it in the back sending it flying. The second one began to chase her but she quucikyl grabbed a lamppost swinging on it
The faunus used the momentum to launch herself straight into the second grimm kicking it in the jaw. This sent the grimm head back straight into debris as sharp metal pierced it skull killing it as it turned the dust. The first grimm lunged toward her but she raised both guanlent firing a spray of bullets into it turning it into swiss cheese as it died on the spot
Bonnet panted turning to him"i got mine now lets get her medical aid then help them"she said
Cardin agreed hesiantly as they rushed over with choka panting and choking right now coughing up more blood. This wasn't good as cardin kenlt down tearing his pack off looking for a medkit. Soon enough he found one as he opened it
"Okay i…um….crap where does it hurt?"cardin asked as he wasn't an expert in medicine
The women layed their panting feeling pain in her chest. Though she also felt something in her lungs right now. That being blood as the grimm broke her ribs like it knew where to hit her. As she panted for air sighing as she looked teared eyed
"I…i think i punctured a lung..i…i might die…i'm not going to be able to hold my baby girl anymore"Choka cried as bonnet knelt to her side not liking those words
"Shut up. Just hold on i'll get a medical team down here"bonnet said pressing her earpiece
"Base do you read we need help right now"bonnet said before someone came through which was jules
'Wukong whats wrong were evacuating civilaisn are some of your injured"jules asked
"Not if count us running into some fucked up grimm with a brian"bonnet said making jules go quiet on the other end
"Grimm aren't that smart it must be a hybrid"jules argued cardin joined in on their comms for a moment
"Uhhh no shes not wrong this thing is using cover and debris as weapons. Its after oscar….i…i think its also hunting the gravekeepers down. "Cardin said as soon enough she spoke up
"I'm sending a team thats close to you i got word from lazuli and her group their on their way. Hold out"jule said
"You here that you'll get to see your kid again"Cardin said but went wide eyed seeing something. That being choka eyes slightly opened as she looked like she drawed her last breath. Bonnet placed a figner on her neck not finding a pulse
"She…she dead….god dammit"bonnet said as the two were upset but decided to join the others to assist them
As right now rogue brought her single head axe head down onto the grimm. But they got stuck in the tar as she tried to break free. Before a cracking noise could be heard a second mouth appeared on its back. She screamed as it tried to bite her but she avoided it just in time before the tore herself away falling onto the ground with tar on her hands
"That thing has a mouth on the back of its head!"rogue screeched
"Oh thats not messed up but most of arthur experiments were i guess"yang said cocking her guanlents back ejecting spent magazine. As she pulled out a new line of shells loading them into her gaunlents with a click being heard as she aimed her gauntlet
"Time to punch your head off since your so smart"yang quipped rushing forward
As she punched behind launching herself forward punching the grimm straight in the jaw making it head whip back. She got back on the ground before cocking her fist back devivering several blows to its bodie firing off several fire dust shots. While she did she gave a mighty war cry dealing some damage to it
But suddnely the grimm snarled lifting its hands up blocking her gunfire. As jaune came rushing in from behind to stab in the back. He used his shield as a boost pointing it down laucnhing hismelf up with gravity dust
As he came straight down onto it driving his blade into its back. But he as did the grimm wasnt affected before it twisted it head around startling him. It opened its jaw trying to tear him in half but bonnet fired off two grapple hooks pulling him out just in time
The monkey faunus pulled him by his side as he panted with a stunner look
"Thanks"jaune thanked
"No problem but god dam….whats with this thing"bonnet said firing her gaunlents into it as it got on all four crawling on the ground like a dog as it growled at her
Cardin came in with his mace swinging it toward the beast. But the grimm bodychecked him sending him flying into one of their rhinos hard. As suddenly the console sparked slightly as he groaned rubbing his head from that hit
Rogue stared at her hand where the infernal gauntlet was as she began to rub the gem in the middle to wake ember up
"Ember…ember please help us…i…look do you want me to say sorry. Then i'm sorry please help"rogue said as the gem wasn't responding as she began to rub it harder
"Dammit ember help us before this thing takes oscar!"she shouted in rage before the gem light up with the fire spriti scoffing
"Fine just this once…lucky for you i'm good friends with oz"ember said emerging from the gauntlet before giving a puzzle look at the grimm surprised to see it
"Well isn't this interesting…your a new one aren't you. Kinda look like my host here leader and partner. She abandoned"ember said rudely
'Oh my god hold it off for later. Can you kill that thing or what"onxyia asked as she was about to speak until the grimm spoke again
"Kill….hayley….bring…spirit…to salem..kill"the creature said making rogue scared right now as ember flinched at that laughing
"Oh good luck…have fun burning"ember said snapping her figner launching a stream of fire at the grimm. Although once the fire covered it body it screamed out in pain making them all smile at that with yang fist pumping the air
"Woo hoo! Nice job fire chick now keep burning it!"yang cheered her on
But as ember fired another fireball at the grimm this time it dodged it still in flames. It eyed a nearby fire hydrate pouncing over slicing it open having water spray out of it. As it began to dose the flames on its body which startled them right now seeing that it was this smart
"Okay this is freaky i….what type of grimm is this smart. Theirs no way that thing isn't a hybrid"cardin said picking himself up
As the grimm turned to face them soon enough a purple sniper beam came out of nowhere hitting it in the side. They looked down the street relived as may was standing up on the back of the hoverbike firing off shot upon shot at the grimm. While she did lazuli sped in firing several bolts into its skin as it slwoly sunk into the tar like skin. The thief smiled
"Have fun with some explosive bolts you grimm freak"lazuli taunted but it did something right now
The grimm skin started to move as slowly the tar dripped onto the ground. Then its skin started to move before revealing the explosive bolts still blinking in its hand. Before they knew it threw it straight toward them as before they knew it they denated
This resulted in ren being thrown off his hover bike along with may. The desert sniper weny flying tumbling onto the ground. But for ren he went straight into the side of a buidling hard. But as he did a piece of rubble started to fall before falling down ontop of ren leg as he cried out in pain
Jaune went wide eyed"ren!"he called out rushing to his teammates aid right now. As maris joined their side with eria coming to a halt with her hover bike shocked that the grimm did that with martinez staring at it in shock
"God dam is it me or does thing look like the kid in his little monster form"he commented
"Your not lying the resmbleance is uncanny. This one of your ancestor or something thats like chiwa or something"yang asked but maris molted her armor off but flinched at the sheer sight of it
"I..i…that not one of us…i…no other archangel has been taken by her"maris stated which caught them offguard hearing that this thing wasn't one the dead archangel. Which meant this might be a new breed of grimm right now
"Are you telling us this thing is a new grimm…oh you have to be kidding me"lazuli said though eria noticed the grimm staring at her making her flinched as it sniffed the air. As it growled in a low tone staring at her
"Omega scent…kill"the grimm said making her flinch that it wants to kill her. Though it looked at maris for a second making her back up in fear as it knows what its queen wanted to do to other gravekeepers it sees. The grimm howled as it lunged straight for her
Oscar noticed this immedialty shoving her out of the way. But this result in the grimm now grabbing it main prey by the throat lifting him up to their shock as eria growled firing off a few shotgun pellets into its skin. As martienz was about to shoot it made oscar into a human shield
"Crap its using him as a shield i can't get a good hit"marteniz stated
"You were not lying about this thing being smart"lazuli added
Though what happened next startled them as it began to go on all fours right now. Then its started to transform as its back started to boil. Until suddnely shooting out of its back where a large set of red bat like wings. It looked similair to a gargoyle as its posture started to go hunch with extra arms growing from beneath its belly
Then placing oscar in those arms it flapped it wings taking flight as they all stood their stunned not even beleiivng what they just saw.
'Oh no…it took him…shit…shit!"bonnet said rushing to a neabry hover bike hoping onto it staring at them
"Help me go after him he aint taking the kid to that witch"bonnet said though as maris looked over she went wide eyed seeing choka on the ground not moving. She walked over staring at her cold dead body as she stared at them with tears starting to break from her eyes
"W-what what happened to my aunt…why…why is she dead…why?"maris asked teary eyed right now but onxyia growled walking over slapping her across the face hard
"Onxyia! Can you relax she just lo–"Eria was stopped as her parner growled at her
"Oscar is more important than her! She was too stupid to not defend herself so now she dead big deal. Now either get on the bike and help else or go back to the base"onxyia said codlly startling her partner as maris glared at her seething in rage going into her aerial form chasing after the grimm
The wolf scoffed as she got on a bike cardin was on but he glared at her as he shook his head disappointed right now. As he began to rev the engine on the bike with jaune going on another as lazuli joined him as he stared at them with ren getting helped up by martinez
"Take him back to base were going for oscar. Be safe alright"jaune said as eria nodded to him as the three sped off to chase the creature down and hopefully get oscar back. Once they were out of sight rogue even looked trouble by onxyia reaction
"So umm…uh now what?"rogue asked
May groaned rubbing her side"i'm calling in cera…she'll help us get back lets hope the others can get oscar in time"she said as eria hoped so too but was worried how her partner was acting now because it made he worried if she'll make a terrible mistake
Although back in the atlas cells right now robyn and merlot were doing one thing laughing at each other telling stories about their life. Along with merlot telling cheesy science jokes he knows
Merlot stopped laughing for a second to tell another one
"Alright…alright where did the hippo faunus go to university?"merlot asked
"I don't know"Robyn asked
"A hippocampus"merlot said the joke making her shake her head at the very terrible joke right now
Robyn laughed as her stomach hurt from all this laughter as she sighed in immense relief right now smiling
"Man i needed some good comedy right now….hey wanna hear something funny on one of my expedition"Robyn asked
"Go ahead it'll help pass our time before our deaths"merlot said as she started
"Alright so funny story we get sent to vale for a mission. Were curious why and get this where suppose to transport supplies because well bandits kept attacking the convoy. The twins where so excited since they never been to the anima before. My partner though…oh boy"robyn begun
"What happened with her. Did she hate the wood?"merlot joked as she shook her head
"Nah she was wondering if we could just make peace with them. Though at the time it was close to a two week break. We got sent out since we were one of the best obviously. Though while where in the woods we take orders from our professor who was a complete jerk mind you"robyn continued
"How so?"he asked making her groan
"Because he was a racist toward my partner. Kept calling a mutt and told her to stay back. She dealt with it but man atlesian are such racist"robyn replied
This made merlot scoff"you said it….because right now i wouldn't mind hitting on to relive some stress. Continue"he said as she did
"So we wind up getting ambushed by bandits and turns out it was the branwhen tribe. We start freaking out since they had booby traps everywhere and i mean everywhere. When we thought we were gonna die in comes well….qrow and raven actually"she paused getting all sentimental right now as she stared at the cross necklace in her hands
The women sighed thinking about the first time she ever met that birdbrain. Because after they saved them he tripped over his own shell casing falling flat on his face breaking his nose
"That dumb birdbrain and his twin sister saved our hides telling them to back off. They did…though funny enough they took us back to beacon. So we can recover since our supplies was for a small village. The professor was against it but at the time ozpin allowed it funny enough"She continued staring at their cells ceiling for a moment sighing
She didn't noticed some tears slipped away from her eyes thinking about what happened next
"I got a grand tour of vale that day along with beacon. One of the best academies in all remnant i heard. I got to meet my partner sister…her boyfriend who now her husband. Along with that…well my now girlfriend and her team. Though i found that bengel faunus annoying. She really hated humans"she fisnihed going into a small sigh
Merlot noticed her hurt look as he sighed himself rubbing his face
"That sounds wonderful to hear right now dear…although…i understand your hurt about him being gone. Lets just hope that things will work out"merlot said with hope
"I hope so and–"she was stopped as the doors opened as walking in right was scar. As she stood up staring at him she went wide eyed seeing someone on dorians shoulder right now knocked out that being zane as merlot noticed him losing that hope slightly
"You…you…let him go right now"robyn demanded as scar sighed shaking his head
"No…i don't think i will. Because well we just caught him. Now we'll be off to see our queen. She'll be happy i brought him. Maybe i'll torture him then send a live broadcast to his friends…to watch him suffer slowly while they can do nothing about it"scar taunted
As robyn eyes budlged out her head as she growled in rage punching the wall hard but her hand flinched as she rubbed it for a moment in pain. Though dorian walked over opening merlot cell as the man stared at him
"Your going to help me something old friend weather you like it or not."dorian said as the man couldn't refuse as he walked out with a pair of guards grabbing him by his arms taking him out. With adder grabbing the hybrid placing him on his shoudlers carrying him out. But as they left scar smiled at her
'Oh before i go were leaving you some temporary guest. Seems early lamia ran out of her aura have fun saying hello to them"Scar said confusing her
Before suddenly walking in with aura collars on was elm, clover, vine along with marrow. This shocked her as they looked normal as elm struggled to break free
"Let me go dammit! I'm not going to help that witch!"elm shouted in rage as two beefier soldiers tossed her into a cell turning the hardlight dust on trapping her. They repeated it with the rest of them as vine walked over sitting down on the seat. As marrow growled staring at scar
"If you lay a hand on that kids head your dead you brat"marrow warned but he smiled at the faunus
"Don't you worry about him…stay here and relax. Because tomorrow your going to help us. Though the general has his own special little cell right now. Ta ta"scar said leaving them right now as they all stayed silent for a moment. As robyn was overjoyed to see them
"Oh thank god you guys are…normal but…are you all okay?"robyn aksed worried as vine sighed looking down
"Not…really we had to watch them execute the commanders of our own army. Along with….three of the coucnil. Sleet, camilie and mactavish are dead"vine said stunning her as she sighed
"Well…thats just great any other news?"she asked
Clover chcukeld"Well….since were trapped in here found a way to break that ghost semblance. Little old shock therapy keep that in mind hill your gonna need it"clover said as she stared at him nodding that she will. They all decided to talk to wait out until their forced to serve them again
Elsehwere in the tundra right now onxyia and the others where chasing down the strange grimm right now. But it was hard with the hover bikes inside the rocky chasm. As they kept doging and weaving their way through the rocks right now. As onxyia kept trying to hit it with her sniper rifle but failed as cardin kept moving around so much
She tried to shoot its wings but cardin moved to the side making her stumble as her shot missed hitting a nearby rock. She growled smacking the top of his head making him glare at her
"Whats your problem?!"he shouted
"My problem is you keep moving hold still so we can save him idiot!"she shotued as he growled not liking this side of her again since menagerie
Bonnet was boping and weaving through the rocks as maris has joined her on the back of her hover bike. She was firing off shots using a stadnard issue asault ifle. But she was having a tough time with the recoil on it right now missing along with the rifle bouncing in her arms
"Dang it this thing has a kick to it"maris said firing it on rapid fire as bonnet glanced at her
"Save the bullets and switch to single fire kid. It'll make that hell alot easier to shoot"bonnet suggest
Looking at the switch she flipped it switching to single fire. As she took aim at the grimm firing a couple shot at it almost hitting it as it dodged her shot. But she smiled finding this to be more tolerable
As they all quickly regroup right now lazuli was hanging on for dear life right now as yang was driving the hoverbike. With jaune as her passenger right now as they had to make room for her
"Man that thing is fast! We need to get it before we lose it in the mountains!"yang called out
Though bonnet stared at the bike display as it showed a warning sign with the frost starting to cover it. As these weren't the best for driving out in the snow as her engine started to give out right now
"Were losing time kids these things aren't the best in the snow!"bonnet called out
"Well none of us can fly! Except maris but her dumb semblance has double aura exhaustion making her a liability!"onxyia shouted making cardin growl at her because he planned to talk to her when they get the chance right now
As jaune stared at then glanced at lazuli grapple hook gaunlent on her wrist
"Could you hook onto it?"he asked as she smiled nodding to him
"Give me a boost knight boy"lazuli said as he acited his shield charging it up as a purple glow was on it right now. Then slowly he lifted it up toward the grimm direction. As lauzli mantled onto it bending her knees as jaune launched her into the air
The thief got air time as she stared at the grimm as time seemed to slow down. Aiming her wrist she fired off the grapple hook as it soared through the airs. The creature flapped its wings slowly as the hook dug itself into its back. The creature glanced back as she smiled
"Nice job feather!"cardin shouted out with yang high fiving her
"Yeah i–"lazuli was stopped as creature began to fly more chaotic in the air launching her forward as she screamed flying through the air with the creature right now as they stared at her
"Oh crap that is not good"bonnet said
"Pick up pace guys we can't lose it"yang said revving the engine as they cotninued to chase it down with the remaining dust they have in their hover bikes
As lazuli tumbled through the air right now as she slammed against the wall hard from the grimm movement making her go off. As it kept trying to shake her off as her comms came to life
"How you doing up their kid?"bonnet asked on her calm as she growled pressing her ear
"I'm hanging on by a htred and being swung around like a dam pinata! How do you think!"lazuli shouted into her comms
As she raised her crossbow loading in a rope dart. Then she passed by a stone piller with a boulder as she shot it. The cable wrapped aorund the boulder as she hoped to further slow it down. But instead it pulled up making the boulder coming lose coming down
It was going straight for onxyia and cardin. Thinking quickly he dodged it making the wolf miss her shot again making her even anger. As she kept trying to fire at it several times to hopefuly slow it down right now
While she did the creature salmemd lazuli even more agains the column and pillars in the chasm hard dealing massive damage to her aura right now. While she did bonnet drove up onto a cliff going parallel as maris screamed holding onto her for dear life.
As bonnet lifted one gaugneltn firing at it in the head making it shake it slightly. This made her think she did some damage to it but the creature began fly faster ahead of them leaving them all confused
"What is it doing?"yang asked confused
Before the grimm reeled it vocal cords before letting out a roar calling out to something. The earth around them started to tremble before several centinel started to emerge from the ground, cliffs, archway all over the places as it was calling for backup
"oh..it called for backup! You have to kidding me!"carsin shotued annoyed
As this happen swopping down from a nearby arch was a teryx that sreeched at them. But bonnet leaned away driving down an arch. With jaune and yang the knight slashed a centinel in half before going through a flock of teryx that were on their tail.
Onxyia turned around getting on the small turret on their hover bike. She got on it beginning to open fire on the grimm behind them. She managed to clip a few of them but they were still hot on their feet right now not wanting to let them go
With lazuli she started to pull up herself meeting the grimm in the face. She began to punch it several times as oscar was cold and unconscious in its arms right now as she growled in rage
"Let him go!"she shouted but the grim tried to bit her as she dodged it falling back down as her cable was still attached to it
Back down below the centiel spit acid onto bonnet and maris hoverbike. As it was starting to eat away at the metal right now which wans't good. But yang noticed this calling out to the two
"Hey guys need a lift?!"she called out driving below them as bonnet and maris nodded. Quickly with her remaining aura she turned into her aerial form as bonnet ditched the hover bike jumping off of it. She came down as the hover bike crashed killing three centinels in its way
Once bonnet joined them she got on the gun beginning to fire at the teryx herself right now. While she did cardin slowed down for maris as she joined them panting exhausted right now nodding thanking him for that
Though as they all kept driving one of the teryx leaped forward slashing the side of cardin and their bike. As it started to leak a strange purple liquid right now as he looked worried
"Guys my bike might explode!"he called out before bonnet eyed some rocks as she began to fire at them. The resulting impact clear their way as the rocks came tumbling down straight onto the grimm killing them slowing them down just in time
As yang looked ahead going wide eyed to see they were heading toward a cliff
"Cliff!"yang called out as they all stared ahead at that
Hitting the breaks yang hover bike skitted to a complete stop. With cardin doing the same more slwoly as they were getting close to the cliff. But onxyia summoned shadow like hands that came from nearby grabbing the rock to slow them down right now as they came skitting to a complete stop right now as they managed to stop just in time
But soon enough lazuli cut her line landing near them as they watched oscar being taken to monstra. As they just lost him and didn't even know on who else they lost. Because salem has plans for when she sees those two right now.
