Chapter 9: All Over The Place
Inside the tunnel right now they were all being led out of it right now. As it lead to somewhere else an abandoned part of mantle as the acolytes along with their families got out. With a makeshift base already set up with heaters and some people their waiting for them. Mainly being johanna and some others as the women sighed walking over hugging yuri still holding miyuki stretcher
'Your all okay…we came as soon as we could when we got the message. Is this…everyone?"she asked noticing some missing with edurado holding his father in his arms falling to his knees cradling his body crying his eyes out right now. As they looked at the poor man with hectate sighing
"I guess so….but"she paused pressing a denator as down the hall something rumbled before suddenly it collapsed covering the entrance. They placed charges in their to cover their tracks to their new base of operations. It was close to the crater since it was an old part of mantle
"Great….look i need to check on our people right now. Cousin go grieve"hectate ordered as walking by was ryker who heard what happened as he stared at his father fighting the urge to cry out in pain. As they walked away artemis sighed pressing her fingers on her temple in anger
'It was bound to happen for them to find us. Now….i need to call our forces and warn them to avoid the hideout. Hopefully they'll ignore us since they attacked us. Miller who did we loose"artmis asked
Miller was still holding june who was crying scared right now as he sighed. Before one of his soldiers stepped foward holding about twelve dog tags along with another carrying three. As star handed him ricos with artemis holding pandora. Which hariett noticed turning away fighting her urge to cry her eyes out right now
"Dammit…so…what do we do now?"hariett asked as no one spoke for a moment with pyrrha tail sagging to the ground right now
'We…we should head back to the house…we um…well…the other good news was…we got the jammers. Along with that we secured transports along with gaining the atlas valkriyes assistance"pyrrha said which was something they needed to hear right now
Zephyra sighed rubbing her face"thats great….anything else?"she asked as some hesitated as hairett sighed with a upset smile
"We…figured out how to free the general and the others…use electricity dust. It disable the parasite"hariett said as they stayed silent with mariana smile placing a hand on her shoulder happy to hear that
"Thats good to hear…some of you should head back to the others. Because right now some of you have bad news to break"mariana said glaring at some of them more importnalty rogue who flinched backing up scared right seeing that look beginning to visable shake
Adam managed to make it out as he helped his father sit down as hariett stared at him wondering if he'll kill her. Instead he spoke
"So can you call them down here…atlas may be patrolling though i heard from the others they aren't patrolling the streets,"adam said as kraven nodded quickly radioing for peggy and some others to pick them up to see their families
After maybe twenty minutes peggy came down with a manta along with a second one. Some of them boarded the vessel to take them to the manor right now. As they all stayed quiet on their respective ships right now. It didn't take them long to be at the manor with others waiting for them mainly being natashia along with blake waiting for them
As the ships landed immediately some of the people came sprinting off with their wounded. As flynt was being carried in by neon and star right now. With miyuki being carried in on a stretcher by jenkins as bei assisted him with courtney checking her health the entire time. Which blake noticed worried
Adam came off helping his father who broke two of his ribs during a fight as he handed him off to a hunter. Blake walked over hugging him surprising him
"Your okay…here i thought you and the others were dead"blake said relived as he returned it smiling
"It was hard but we pulled through. Is everyone else here?"adam asked
'Yeah did um…well yang and the others arrive?"may asked as the cat look down shaking her head
'No i even tried to call them but….nothing i think they might have lost their scrolls or theirs a jammer something screwing with comms"blake replied making may look away which she noticed wondering if something happened. But winter came out struggling to walk as she fell to her knees crying in pain. Kraven then picked her up easily princess style

"What happend to my daughter?"williow cried with worry as hairett stepped forward placing a hand on her
"She'll be okay…she just hurt from her fight at base. Take her upstairs kraven along with the others. I think the gogh along with the mori should be here"hairtt said making leah sprint off to find her parents right now. As flynt was taken by some hunter before neon knew it her parents came over overjoyed to see her. But the cat faunus began to cry into their chest after what happened to her teammates.
While henry walked in holding his side wincing"owwww….this hurts…why did i have to get shot"henry whined like a baby as hunter sighed since he came with them
"Come on you big baby i'll help you get it out. "Hunter said taking him away as tealla was their nervous right now as she stared at carmine since she came. Carmine stared at her nodding

Velvet rushed over hugging her burying her face into chest beginning to cry loudly as cera held her close

As this confused them before the teen got up running away into a different part of the house

Inside mosntra right now with the many ifferent rooms in the building. In one of them seemed to have an opaque ceiling allowing some light into the room. While their their seemed to be something that evoke prison bars. Their were also hooks that semed to resemble grimm arms
But outside of it right now being carried through the halls past the bridge was oscar. As he was being held by the strange creature right now but he slowly regained his conscious going wide eyed on where he was right now
"Oh no…okay don't panic we'll be okay"oscar thought to calm him nerves right now. Although as they cotninued to walk they soon arrived at the bridge. As sitting atop her throne right now was salem with a smoke hovering her hands. She looked down before smiling
"My long lost ozma…i found you at last"salem said kindly to him but he knew that was a fake tone
As the smoke in her hands appeared to form her four daughters. All running in a circle and giggling before disappearing to the winds. Then she turns to him as he began to struggle to break free. But the grimm held him as she approached him getting up from her throne
As she walked over she studied him before getting in his face making him face her
"Hmmm so small for your new host. Its a wonder my hound didn't break you. Its been oh how many years since we last saw each other face to face. It was when i…ah yes turned your allies against you. The gravekeepers after i killed you"salem said with a small smile
Thinking of something he adopted ozpin speaking mannerisms as he talked to
"I'm sorry the reunion wasn't living up to you expectations"oscar said as salem stared at him with a furious glare across her fall
"You can play pretend all you want…your not fully him. Not yet at least"salem said walking away but laughed slightly
"It was a good attempt…he does speak like that oh so much"she added
As the witch began to walk around the grimm now known as the hound as she studied the farmboy for a moment thinking of something
"The beacon relic. My forces cannot claim it and are uanble to locate it inside that shool. Because for one we didn't have the correct maiden for it along with its key. If i know my ozma he is always a step ahead"salem said before stopping petting the hound shoulder as it enjoyed it
"Now…where is it?"she asked as he looked down at the ground
"I…i don't even know he…hide alot of things from me"he admitted honestly as she sighed walking around
"Of course he would. That man was know to keep his well guarded secret as long as possible"salem said with annoyance. Then she glanced at him
"How about something easier right now the password for the lamp?"salem asked as he paused for a moment as his eyes darted away
"The lamp is out of questions we used them all"oscar said
Salem turned to face him with a gentle smile as he nervously returned one. Then she summoned a black orb of magic infront of her before his very eyes. Before he knew it she fired a beam clored like a rainbow of different magic. It all converge on his chest as eh cried out in pain writhing in agony
As she had an interse glare going for what felt like forever. Bu it was only ten seconds as she lowered her hands with a frown letting the magic fade. As oscar gasped from the pain as remantn of the magic flaoted around with a scorch mark on his chest
"The lies come out of you so easily…"salem paused walking over as he turned away cowering. But she gently placed a hand on his chek caressing it
"Like minded indeed thats why he chose you"she added walking away heading back to the door
"One of you is going to tell me what i want to know. I don't care if its is you or ozma either way i'll finally have the relic. "Salem paused smiling at him but he shot a glare back
"I won't tell you anything….never"oscar said panting but the women hummed at him before smiling

"H-hzael?"oscar said in fear as hazel walked over to him making him scared
"Wait…wait please…p–"oscar said but hazel punched him to the floor making dropped by the hound
"That was for haven academy"hazel said before kicking oscar into a wall hard as he cried in pain as he craked his neck
"Everything else that follows is for greta"hazel apporached him as salem watches for a moment. Though soon enough salem left to go check on her other prisoner that was one of her old flames kin.
In the mountain range right now the others were gathering parts right now. As lazuli was trying to get the radio to work or even her scroll. Bonnet was assisting her as mari sat on the ground still grieving for choka death rigth now. As cardin and jaune checked their supplies with onxyia staring at monstra in the distance growling slihghtly
"Come on….cho..anyone….hell even jules or the pervy magician girl"bonnet said getting nothing as she sighed heavily seeing their two hover bikes messed up
"Now we need transport back to mantle and we lost oscar…great"lazuli said kicking a rock off the cliff as cardin sighed rubbing his eyes
"Well…we should start moving the storms in soon. Along with that we gotta figure out what to do next"cardin said as jaune nodded
"Come on the strom will drain are aura. You know if their somewhere we can stay at?"jaune asked the monkey faunus who thought for a moment nodding
"Their an old military outpost not far from here it'll take a while but if we go now we can beat it. Come on"bonnet said as they grabbed what they could with the supplies they had on hand right now
While they did soon enough they began to make their way through the snow. As cardin and jaune pushed the hvoerbikes through the snow. As yang kept an eye on their aura levels seeing they were pretty low. But not as low as maris who was shivering right now from her double aura exhaustion. She stared at her for a moment seeing hers at 5%.
"Okay anyone got a syringe we need to use it on her shes low on aura"yang said but some stared toward the wolf who was carrying them now. But the wolf huffed continuing forward
"She can last in the cold for a bit. Since her family is so great….you can kill dozen of grimm but a little snow stops you. Pathetic"onyxia said rudely making them stare at her
"Okay whats your deal right now girly because you've been a prick since yesterday"bonnet growled
"Yeah because your acting just like you did on menageire. again"Cardin added with a growl as she began to walk ahead of them. But this annoyed cardin walking over grabbing her by the arm

"Are you crazy?!"maris shouted in shock as bonnet rushed over tackling her to the ground for that. The two dual triated faunus got in a spat as bonnet socked her hard in the jaw making her yelp
"You dumb little bitch! You just probably screwed us if we run into a grimm knight!"bonnet shouted in rage as yang walked over tearing her off but bonnet kicked some snow up. As onxyia had a red mark on her face panting with steam coming out of her mouth
"Okay everyone stop! I get that were a little pissed right now but fighting like this won't help"caridn said
As the wolf scoffed"hate to break it to you but were screwed. Right now were in the middle of no where and salem has the lamp. She has oscar and we have a spiteful excuse for a resistant that are just a bunch of cowards."onxyia said pointing at maris as the girl was wobbling side to side as her aura shattered right now as she groaned falling to the ground shivering right now
Lazuli went wide eyed seeing her freezing right now sighing. She had some syringe to as she pulled one out jamming it into her neck as maris gasped. Yang looked seeing her aura go back to full as she sighed

"More like i stole two of them…we got one left"lazuli said as the wolf growled stomping her foot down

Yang growled walking over as she punched her sqaure in the face. This sent back into the snow hard as it left a very large mark on her face.
"Whoa yang! Cute it out!"jaune said but the blonde pulled her up by the collar making her face her
"Seriously! I get that your pissed off at bree for killing that ollie guys sister! Along with that your boyfriend lying to you about knowing who killed his stupid sister!"yang shouted as her eyes flicked crimson red

"Shut up! Right now i wasn't their for your little bitch fest. But right now you are acting like a complete child! I mean seriously i get it your pissed off that someone you loved lied to you! But that doesn't excuse your behavior right now!"yang continued shouting in her face right now making the wolf scared now
The other didn't even want to get involved as they were scared of yang when she acts like this. Dropping the harsh truth
"Quit trying to blame someone else for what happened in your life! You made the choice to join the white fang not ollie! You are pushing people away acting like this! Do you think that pinning the blame on someone else will make it better!"yang shouted
Onxyia started to shake scared now"i..i…i.."she stopped
"I..i…i…shut up! Right now i'm worried sick about my sister and now we need to work together. Because who know what happened in mantle while we chased oscar. Because…"she paused before staring at her right now. The wolf had tears starting to slide down her face with a scared look on her face as yang glanced back seeing the others looking scared at her
The blonde sighed shaking her head on what she was doing. She got off the faunus before offering her a hand as she flicnhed. Onxyia stared at it before getting up herself walking forward looking away from the right now.
The wolf kept walking ahead as yang sighed covering her face
"I think i went to far"yang said with bonnet placing a hand on her shoulder
'You did kid…come on lets keep moving outpost isn't that far"bonnet said as she nodded
They kept trudging their way through the right now for refugee. They kept walking as the cold kept getting worse right now. But just in time they spotted the outpost as it looked like a metal building with glass windows their. Immediately they all were relieved
"Thank god…shelter lets get inside""lazuli said as they all walked into the shelter just in time
The wind started to pick up outside right now as cardin shut the door before moving something infront of it. They brought the hover bikes in as the door was wide eyed as they saw some beds along with a small fire put in the middle with chairs around it
"Hey score we found a firepit man were lucky. Lets get this started"bonnet said as she didn't now hot to start one. Staring at the others yang glanced at the wolf who walked off to the far corner of the room sitting down balling up hugging her knees with her face down
The blonde looked down"hey uh…wolf ears um…mind helping us out start a fire?"she asked but the wolf ignored staying quiet. As yang looked down upset on that as jaune started a fire with some wood and scraps around the outpost. Then the fire started as they dug into provision
Cardin pulled out a pot from his pack along with a few MRE bags making maris gag
"Are we seriously gonna eat those?"marias asked as he nodded
"Nothing better besides…chili will warm us up. It even has instant hot chocolate and coffee. Perfect for atlas weather"cardin replied taking the packet on instant coco and coffee out
As he placed a pot filling it with a canteen they had for water. He used a metal grate to heat it up as he dumped the contents of the MRES into the pot. He let it cook for a while as they used a small metal water bottle they had to heat up some coco
It took some time to heat up until it finally did. As they found some mugs here left by the previous occupants. Jaune poured it out as bonnet took a sip feeling immense relief as her tail swayed around in joy
"Oh man this hits the spots…man what i wouldn't give to be in the sandy desert of vacuo right now"bonnet said
"Same here, though this hits the spot right now. Hope my parents and siblings are okay"maris said rubbing her nose sniffing fighting the urge to cry. As lazuli sighed tapping her on the side
"They'll be fine….right now i uh…"lazuli paused staring at the wolf who was avoiding them right now. Cardin noticed this grabbing a mug of hot coco walking over to offer her one. Once he was over she glanced at him flinching at the sight of him
'What…you here to scold me…let me guess..i gotta go live in the tundra"onxyia sheepishly said but he sighed joining her placing the mug on his side. He stared ahead as the others talked for a bit as he stared at her
"Look i get it…your pissed off that Z lied to you. I'm surprised he would keep that from anyone"cardin said as she glared at him for that
"Well…hes playing with my feeling again….always lying to me to what…protect me…my life is ruined because of ollie. i…"She paused before her ears completely flopped over before she began to have tears formed in her eyes burying her face into her knees
"No…no yang was right…i choose to be in the white fang i…its all my fault…all of its my fault right now. All those people i helped kill are dead because of me…i'm a murderer"onxyia cired quietly hicking and sobbing right now as he sighed before wrapping an arm around it making her flinch
Cardin moved his hand away"look wolf ears…i get that you get very emotional. But seriosuly you need to realize your actions have consequence. Saying all that stuff to everyone will make them hate you"he said with worrie
"Everyone already hates me…i'm a freak"onxyia said upset but walking over placing a hand on her head was bonnet. The wolf flinched at the sight of her but the women sat with them sighing
"Kid you aint the only one with dual traits…seriously i get that your pissed at my girl but…"bonnet paused soften her gaze at her fellow dual triated faunus
"Me and…hare along with the cat and you boyfriend where planning on telling you…when we got to vacuo"bonnet said to their surprise as the wolf stared at her listening
Bonnet bundle her knees up to stay warm"hare…i was going to become a guard for the mine hariett was assigned at. I..i was so scared since they force fanus to work their. But she volunteered to switch places. Because she gave the captain the reasoning that i wound't have the guts to shoot a flithy vermin"bonnet said laughing at that part sighing
"Hare and me went through basic…maybe it was her repaying me for saving her hide from jules and some others harassing her. Though when i heard she got promoted to spartans alot of us were happy. We were prepared to welcome her with open arms and well…ummm…"she paused as she looked devastated on what happened that night

As they stayed silent right now for a moment the wolf took in the words right now not believing it at first. But they sounded so real as she buried her face into her hands crying right now
"I'm such an idiot…their goes my emotions again….god i'm so stupid"onxyia said beating herself up making cardin frown as he put the hot chocolate infront of her view
"Quit beating yourself up wolfie. I…"he was stopped as she took the coco sipping on it feeling relief as her tail wagged before staring at him
'Only my girlfriends and boyfriend can call me that…maid boy"onxyia said coming up with a nickname for him which yang heard laughing
"Oh man nice one someone finally not being a prick"yang said as cardin rolled his eyes staring at her
"I didn't get my nickname from a dusty old wolf plushie"cardin teased back as she went red in the face. Soon enough they rejoined each other as yang rubbed the back of her head
"Hey uh sorry for early just…i…"She was stopped
"Its fine..i..needed some sense knocked into me again. Though lets wait this storm out..though maris…my previous actions aren't excusable but sorry"onxyia said as the girl stared at her sniffing rubbing her eyes sighing
"It fine…though your making it up to me when were done here. Also cut cousin some slack…lord knows hes not having a great time. Being the only one to kill that witch…thats a plus side"maris said as that was
They decided to keep warm for the night wondering where the others where right now along with hoping they were okay
But right now back in monstra inside the torturing wing of the grimm. Inside a cell suspend in the air was zane right now. As he was knocked out slowly coming back to conscious right now before looking up going wide eyed where he was. That being some grimm themed prison
"Ohhhhh shit….uhhh bane where are we?"zane asked nervously as the parasite hissed scared in his back right now
'Were…were where she is….dammit..i…okay we need a plan. Where are our weapons?"bane asked in his head
Scanning the room he frowned as on the other side of the bars he saw all his weapons. But all of them where locked behind a special little case which meant he was in prison. With his protectiong just out of reach
"Well isn't this great…were stuck in grimm prison. I should not drop the soap or that hazel guy might like em young"Zane said trying to lighten up his dire circumstance
'Nows not the time for jokes we gotta find a way out of here before s–"bane stopped as the sound of footstep could be heard walking down the hall. He stayed silent staring at the bars of his as slowly he saw her in the flesh
Salem ghost white skin and all as he stared at her in complete horror right now. Because he could feel a panic attack coming around as he began to start taking rapid breath right now. As tears began to run down his face recalling the horror he went through in the lab.

Along with aura boosters to make sure his aura won't give out
