Chapter 10:Recovering
Inside the manor grounds right now asani was roaming the halls trying to find her girlfriend heartbroken to hear she lost her father. As she didn't expect that to happen to qrow. She heard how tough he was and nothing could stop him. But now hearing that something did it was surprising right now. She overreacted early because now her brother is missing and he might be dead now or worse
With her right now was dawn doing her best to track the silver eyed girl. But she stopped curling around very confused
"Let me no dice girl"Asani as she barked whining cirlcing around her whining with worry for her owner. As asani petted her coat
"I know girl…i know i'm worried too for my big brother. Wherever he is"asani said till someone spoke up close by
"My guess hes in the giant grimm outside of the kingdom"emerald said startling her as the girl yelped at the sight of her. But realized it was her
"Oh hey emerald…you patrolling the manor ground right now"asani asked
"Sort of…got my side looked at. Bruised it early but i should recover. You get hurt?"emerald asked
"If your wondering mentally right now yes…because i screamed at my girlfriend not even realizing her dad is…gone"asani said still not believing it
Emerald couldn't either"Your telling me. God i…i'm worried that she'll lose control toward whoever did him in. "she said as she shared that worried
'Yeah umm….have you seen her i need to check on her right now. Then my mom"asani asked as the red eyed girl thought for a moment nodding
"Shes in the library right now. I saw her crying but going through a bunch of books…i think she still trying to figure out a way to save everyone. Despite loing a parent shes got a heart i'll say"emerald said making her sigh
"Yeah she does….could you uh help me incase she you know. Goes all black in the eyes"asani questioned
"Sure follow me lets make sure shes okay"emerald said
Being guided by the mint haired girl asani soon found herself where her girlfriend was right now. In the library like emerald said going throuhg a bunch of books right now. Their were too many to count right now which worired her right now seeing the tears still running down her face
"Oh no…i…um…god what do i do?"asani said
"What do you mean?"emerald replied
"I've never consoled someone before….i…shes consoled me and yet..i…i've never consoeld her. I don't know what to do"asani admitted as the desert rat thought for a moment then she snapped her fingers
"Heres a suggestion…talk to her slowly. Make sure shes okay have your fluffy friend her comfort her. Along with that…convince her to sit down and rest. We all could use that right now."emerald said as taking her words in for a moment she nodded in agreement
Walking over to her girlfriend as ruby was looking at several books on grimm. But their were also subjects on huntsman guides along with some on old fairy tales. With the one being in her hands right now on the silver eyed warriors
Dawn walked over huffing startling the poor teen who threw the book up. As it came crashing back down onto her head as she whined rubbing her head as tears kept running down her face
"Oh no i…rosey sorry um i…are you okay?"Asani asked as the girl rubbed her head looking down upset
"What do you think?"ruby asked with a very horased voice like she cried all day and night
Asani looked down upset taking a spot next to her but ruby scoothed away from her throwing her hood up as she balled herself up. This worried her as dawn whined curling up by her feet sniffing and gently bit her cloak holding it in her mouth
They stayed silent for a moment as she sighed
"Look i…i'm so sorry for how i acted early i…know it doesn't excuse what your going through right now. "Asani started
Ruby sniffed trying to not cry anymore"how would you know….you at least have your mom…and maybe your brother and your sister. My dad gone…and my sister abandoned us"ruby said startling her
It startled emerlad hearing her say those words right now. Asani especially wanting to clear things up right now
"No…no…no yang didn't abandone she….she went to save oscar. She must have saved him and is waiting out the storm right now. To come back to us"Asani said trying to make her happy as ruby looked up with very red eyes as the tears wouldn't stop
"How would you know? What if they failed….what if hes already with salem…what if their gone…what if…what if my sister gone like m–"she was stopped
Immediately asani pulled her in a loving embrace not even wanting to let her go right now as she held her in a tight embrace sighing as she gentle squeezed her
"Don't…..don't say that. Don't ever think like that…i know she isn't dead. Your sister is the toughest person here. She won't sit down and let herself get knocked down from some simple little fight. She will get back up and keep on trying. I'm…i'm worried sick for my brother right now but…"She paused pulling her back
Asani looked at her seeing tears contiosunly run down her face. Pulling out a handkerchief she began to whip them away patting her cheeks gently till they were dry
"Your strong….because right now i know that my brother is in trouble but…salem wants him alive. I..i know i never lost a parent but…i want to be their for you like you have for me. I know it hurts but….but keep that hope inside you burning. Keep it burning so it never runs out"asani said before hugging her
"I love you"asani said sweetly
The two weapon nerd girlfiend stayed in that positon for a bit. As ruby buried her face started to shed the last of her tears right now from her eyes right now. While she did soon enough the water works stopped as she pulled herself away
"Better?"asani asked
'Uh yeah….though guess theirs no books in to show us how to sneak into some giant grimm whale"ruby said tossing a book to the side
"Easy the blowhole"asani replied casually
This made ruby pause for a moment before trying to fight a laugh back. But let it slip falling backward holding her stomach laughing at that making asani smile
"Your smiling after my terrible attempt at a pun like my brother"asani asked
"Well yang tells worse one but i was caught offguard by that"ruby said before suddenly dawn crawled ontop of hey laying completely on her. Ruby tried to break free but was now trapped by the fluffy companion. As dawn started to lick her in the face as she tried to avoid it
"No…no…stop it….ahh stop it tickles"ruby said but dawn didn't as she continuously licked her in the face till no end. As asani smiled seeing this with emerald watching over them happy that their getting along in this terrible time as she took her leave letting them relax for now.
Elsewhere in the manor right now was rogue who found a very secluded spot in the manor right now. That being the old trophy room that nicholas had. Their were several souvenirs from all his adventures over the years with grimm skulls, books, artifacts or replica of artifacts. Even a large family portrait of his daughter, wife and grand children one of his best trophies in life
Although she was busy crying her eyes out right now on what she heard. Her own partner and leader now taken by salem. Which means they might lose now and its all her fault she only was mad at him for lying to them he always lies about things. She never understands why
Was it to protect them or himself? She was just getting sick of all the lying because they promised to tell each other anything. Now their all broken apart again as she couldn't even take the stress at times. This entire situation was so stressful
As she sat in the dark quietly crying to herself suddenly the door open and the lights flicked on startling her. But looking at the door it was her sister along with mercury. As their was also may, velvet and pyrrha. As pyrrha sighed in relief walking over hugging her
"Their you are little sister i was so worried about you"pyrrha said but rogue looked away from her not returning the gesture. Which she noticed
"Rogue….come on…look i know things are pretty dire right now."pyrrha said making the blonde glare

"I…i…sis your right i…though if i have to i'll fight my way through that stupid grimm. Then burn salem at the stakes"rogue said as her sister laughed

But they all stayed silent for a moment as the others codulnt' even believe it. Persia let out a ghastly scream at the sight of real ghost. With fina screaming herself around her tail around herself for protection. Chris jaw dropped as he fell to his side on the couch in shock. With diaz eyes bulging out of his head.
"Oh my its a ghost!"holly screeched in fear. But several footsteps could be heard approaching them before bursting through the door was miller along with jenkins, star and grinch by his side all with weapons riased up for a attack
"Whats going on i…"miller paused going wide eyed seeing the current situation. That being two astral looking spirit with grinch peeking at them laughing right now
"Whats this a prank or something trying to lighten the mood before the apocalypse comes or atlas sinks"grinch said before yan growled at him as he was enraged
'You mean how the current archangel is in salems clutches!"yan shouted making grimm eyes go wide. As they stared at it for a moment as star walked over sitting down collapsing her hands together
"We are now in hell and this is our punishment….i'm going crazy"star but yin scoffed

Although eleshwere in the manor right now where falk was he was outside on the front lawn doing something. That was installing the jammers with yumi right now who had her shoulder bandaged. But she was being very annoying with her instructions
As she was sitting on the pilot chair with him sitting in the other as she tried to instruct him on how to install it
"Now you place the jamming device near the center console right here. After that you need to tune into a certain frequience along with that making sure to safely adjust it so it doesn't knock out the ships system'yumi said as he stared at her
From his point of view all he could hear is blah blah as he was not tech savvy. More like grease savvy as he kept staring at her. The panda faunus saw he wasn't listening as she bonked him on the head

But by his side was his mother sora wearing something similar to what she wore today. Though their was also his father shu bishop. That being a man who was a little older than sora who was in her mid thirties while he was in his early thirties. He had fair skill along with black hair with a streak of pink it. With him having a msucualr and toned build while he wore a similar pilots jacket like his son wore today with black pants and white t-shirt
Though as they were walking the streets he groaned loudly
"Dad why are we even here you said we be visiting some friend or yours. Who apparently their for my apparent birth"falk said smugly as sora pinched him on the cheek as he yelped
"Don't be rude i may be a retired you know. But i still have some good friends in that world."sora said as he guessed it might be a crook like uncle vermillion
Shu chuckled"yeah besides this guy a pretty swell guy. Heck he even got three kids two of them are close to your age even"he said peeking his interest

'Ha ha says the grunt and crook"falk retorted as his parents laughed at hat so did he. They kept walking through the streets of vale looking for any sign of this mysterious place they were heading too right now. But eventually they did which was a boxing gym which was colt old place which confused him right now
