Daphne was finding it hard to focus on her job ever since Harry had invited her to spend a day in the Muggle world. She had hoped that he would agree to tutor her in Muggle studies so that she could get closer to him, but she had never expected him to ask her out on a date.

Although Daphne wasn't upset with how things had turned out, she knew how big of a catch Harry Potter was. He was handsome, intelligent, confident, and to top it all, the lord of two Most Ancient and Noble Houses. Any girl in the country would want to have a chance with him. However, while she could appreciate those qualities, something else drew her to Harry Potter.

Almost everyone in Hogwarts knew Daphne as the "Ice Queen." She was seen as an emotionless, cold person with an inflated ego. She had created this persona for a good reason, as it was common knowledge that her husband would become the next Lord Greengrass. Her father had warned her that many people would try to get close to her in hopes of using Daphne for their selfish reasons. So, even though she didn't want to do it, she had to keep people away from her.

When she looked at Harry, she saw a soul mate - someone who was also a different person than what everyone else had seen. While people saw him as a foolproof hero, their golden boy, she had seen a caring, loving man with good values and his priorities straight. She knew that he would make a wonderful partner with whom she could lead a happy life. So, she was very excited about the upcoming Saturday.

While her dad had refrained from making any comments about it, her sister and best friend, Tracy Davis, teased her mercilessly during dinner.

"Harry and Daphne kissing in a tree..." Astoria started.

"Shut it, Tori," Daphne growled.

"Why so grumpy, Daph? You're going on a mysterious date with the hottest man in this country! Cheer up a bit," Astoria teased.

"I am not grumpy! Just that gremlin is pissing me off since I came back home."

"Daphne, do not insult your sister. Astoria, stop teasing her," Ophelia commanded sharply.

"Yes, Mom," the girls replied.

"And Astoria, I better not hear you tell that in front of Lord Potter. He is doing us a lot of favour, so I expect the best behaviour from you."

"Yes, Mother," Astoria replied, a bit chastised.

The rest of the week passed similarly, so Daphne was relieved when Saturday came. She woke up early that day, as she wanted to look her best, and she knew it would take her a long time to do that.

Harry's POV:

When Harry came out of the fireplace, he was greeted by Cyrus and Ophelia. He was expecting to get some kind of talk from them, but they had opted against that. It was clear that they trusted Daphne and did not want to be overprotective.

After a moment, Daphne was finally ready and came downstairs. When Harry saw her for the first time, he was a bit speechless. She was wearing a knee-long, flowery dress, her hair styled in an elegant bun, with light makeup on her face. Harry quickly gathered himself before she reached them, so he didn't look like some idiot.

"Good morning, Daphne. You look beautiful."

"Thank you, Harry. Is my dress appropriate for the muggle world? I had to trust Tracy on that matter, and knowing her, she could purposely make me wear something that would stand me up in a crowd like a sore thumb."

"Don't worry, it's perfect," he replied sincerely.

"That's a relief. When are we leaving?"

"If you're ready, we can leave now."

"Then lead the way," she replied.

Both of them said goodbye to Daphne's parents and used floo to Leaky Cauldron.

"Okay, where are you taking me today?" she asked Harry curiously.

"Well, as I know you've never been to the muggle world, I decided to take you to visit a few of the most important places in London, and I'll tell you more about the muggles there. Then I've planned a trip to a few fun places so I can show you how muggles spend their free time."

"Sounds good," she replied and followed Harry to the entrance to the muggle world. When they left, Harry called a taxi, and together they drove to the centre of London. They left the car, and Harry began the tour.

"Here we are, at the centre of London," Harry announced.

"Dear Merlin, there are so many people here!" Daphne said, shocked.

"And most of them are tourists. We are in an area where a lot of important moments are."

"Is this the palace of them?"

"You could say that. This palace is the official residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II."

"How does muggle government work? I know they have a Prime Minister and a Queen at the same time, but who is more important?"

"The Queen's role is mostly representative now, so the Prime Minister is more important."

"And who decides who will be the next Prime Minister? Is it their version of the Wizengamot?"

"Nope, they work completely differently from us. In their Wizengamot, seats are not hereditary. Every few years, they organize a vote that every adult can participate in. They choose who will get the seat there for the next few years. The candidates belong to one of a few parties, and when the election is done, they check if anyone has the majority of votes. If yes, then the leader of that party becomes the Prime Minister. If not, they create a coalition with another party to get that majority. Then both of them choose one person who gets the job."

"Everyone can vote? Even women?"

"Yes, everyone. Females got their voting rights a few decades ago here."

"It's so different from us."

"Yes, they are very different. That's why we need to learn about them so we can understand their society."

They continued their walk, talking more about the differences between the worlds. Harry showed her Big Ben, the Tower of London, and the Parliament building. Then Harry decided it was enough of serious conversations and took her to the Southbank area. Daphne was fascinated with the skateboarders and musicians who played in the open.

"And they are doing all these things in public! I have never heard of something like that," she said, unable to take her eyes off the people there.

"That's what makes this part of town fascinating – different people and different hobbies that they are enjoying. Everyone is different, yet they are still together here."

Daphne's mind was officially blown after that visit. But what she didn't realize was that it was not over yet. Their next stop was Westfield London. As it was some distance from them, Harry took her for a ride on a bus. In the beginning, Daphne was terrified, as she was sure that the ride would be the same as in the Knight Bus. But she was positively surprised that it was much slower and gentler, so she sat there, enjoying the views. When they arrived at the doors of the mall, Daphne was curious about where Harry was taking her.

"What is this place, Harry? It is even bigger than Hogwarts!"

"You will see soon," Harry told her and led her inside.

When Daphne entered the mall, she stopped there, looking with amazement. Her brain could not comprehend what she was seeing, so she turned to Harry for an explanation.

"We are in a shopping mall. Think of this as Diagon Alley but in one building."

"And what can I buy here?"

"Everything. And I mean it. There is every possible kind of shop here," Harry replied, amused by her reaction.

"I could spend a whole day here!"

"And you still wouldn't have seen everything."

"Can we enter some of the shops?"

"Sure thing. Just let me know if something catches your eye."

"That's awesome."

"Yup, it is. One thing though, try to stay close to me, or we will have a hard time finding each other again."

Daphne solved that problem by taking Harry's hand. Both of them blushed a bit but enjoyed their contact. To avoid awkwardness, Harry started walking, so they could focus on other matters.

"Dang, I wish I took some muggle money with me," she exclaimed after seeing the third shop.

"If you want something, then go ahead. It's my treat," Harry replied, getting a grateful smile in return.

Ten minutes later, he started regretting his words a bit as Daphne took him into a clothes store. After Harry had explained the differences between sizes of clothes, her female instincts won, and she started looking through them. Only after a few minutes did she realize she was in love with muggle fashion. All the fabrics, colors, and styles were simply mind-blowing. The only reason she had to restrain herself was Harry. She didn't want him to wait for her.

So she finally came back to him and once again took his hand. "You didn't choose anything?" he asked, surprised. "Harry, I could spend at least an hour in just this store, and I didn't want you to wait for me," she replied.

They continued their journey through the mall, with Harry explaining to Daphne what the different stores were. As they were both getting hungry, Harry took her for a late lunch.

"What can we get to eat here?" she asked.

"Have you ever had pizza?" Harry asked.

"No, or at least I don't think so. What is that?" Daphne asked.

"Dear Daphne, in a few moments, I will treat you to the best meal in the world," Harry replied and took her to an Italian restaurant.

When they were seated, they both looked at the menu, with Daphne asking a million questions about different dishes. At the end, they decided on a large Pepperoni Pizza that they would split.

"So, how do you like our trip so far?" Harry asked.

"It is perfect! I enjoyed seeing muggle monuments and learning differences between our governments. But I don't have words about the visit in this place. There is so much to do here that my mind has problems comprehending anything. Lastly, I enjoy your company very much," she replied, blushing again.

"I am glad you enjoy yourself, and I like your company as well," Harry replied.

Their conversation was stopped by a waitress who brought them their pizza. Harry then split the meal in half and managed to convince her that she didn't need to use cutlery. Daphne was a bit skeptical at first, but after the first bite, she froze in shock.

"This... this is the best thing in the entire world. It's perfect," she said, looking at her slice.

"Welcome to the club of pizza lovers," Harry replied jokingly.

Daphne devoured her part of the pizza, and when she was done, she sat there with a blissful smile.

"If I die right now, I will die happily, knowing that the best thing in the world had happened to me," she exclaimed.

"Glad that you liked it."

"I am totally in love with pizza."

"If you want, I can give you the recipe later, so your house elves can make it at your home."

"Yes, please."

They sat there, talking about muggle food in general, wanting to rest for a bit. When they were done, Harry paid the bill, and they left the restaurant.

"So, what's next?" Daphne asked eagerly.

"The last stop on our trip is called a cinema," Harry replied.

"What are we going to do there?"

"That's a surprise."

Harry took her hand again, and slowly they went in the direction of the cinema. When they arrived, Harry, wanting to keep a light atmosphere, bought them two tickets for "Mulan". He added to his purchase two big plates of nachos, two bags of popcorn and two large sodas. When they were fully equipped, he led Daphne into their seats and explained what they were going to do there and what the movie was about. Daphne was sitting there, like hypnotized. She enjoyed the movie and liked the snacks Harry had bought them. She was silent during the whole movie, not wanting to miss anything. Only Harry knew she was alive because of the shrinking pile of food and her holding his hand tightly. When the film show was ended, Daphne took a minute to gather herself. It was one of the coolest things she had ever participated in, and she was hoping to do it again in the future, of course, with Harry at her side. When she finally came back to her senses, they stood up and left the cinema. As it was getting late, they started going back to the Leaky Cauldron. Of course, it took them quite some time as neither of them wanted to end this day. They were simply walking around, talking effortlessly. Overall, it was almost 9 P.M when they arrived back at Greengrass Manor.

"Harry, thank you so much for today. I have never had so much fun."

"I am glad you enjoyed yourself. If you want, we can repeat the day soon."

"I would like that very much."

"So it's a date."

"Yes, it is." She then remembered she wanted to ask him something.

"Say Harry, have you heard that at the end of the month, we will be able to take our NEWTS?"

"No, I have not. Why are you asking?"

"Well, tomorrow, I am meeting with my friends to revise material, and I was wondering if you and Hermione would like to join us?"

"Sounds great to me. I will ask Hermione and let you know, but I will come for sure."

"Awesome! Be here tomorrow at noon."

"Then see you tomorrow."

She hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. They spoke for a minute longer, and Harry said goodbye and left the manor. Daphne was standing in front of the fireplace, looking at the place where Harry had disappeared a moment ago.

"I take it you enjoyed your day?" Her mother's voice brought Daphne out of her thoughts.

"Oh yes, I did. Believe me, we would sit until morning if I were to tell you everything."

"I am happy for you." Ophelia hugged her daughter, and Daphne went to her room. After a while, she fell asleep with a big smile on her face.

Harry stepped out of the fireplace and was greeted by Hermione and Dora, who bombarded him with questions.

"How was your date? Did you hold hands? Did you kiss? Did you declare your love for her?" The girls asked him in rapid succession.

"The date was wonderful. Yes, we were holding hands. Yes, I got a kiss on the cheek. No, I did not declare my love." Harry laughed and told them everything they did. He then informed Hermione about the NEWTS and Daphne's invitation.

"Sure, I will be happy to go there," she said excitedly about the exams. Dora, seeing her reaction, pretended to vomit and ran from the room. After a while, Harry left for his bedroom, feeling tired. He wrote a message to Daphne, which he sent with Athena. When he was done, he went to bed and fell asleep instantly.
