Stardust Crusaders PLUS1
Chapter 3
Court is in session
Before he knew it, Asaki felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck, followed instantly by the weight of the nurse pinning him to the ground.
"What just happened?" His mind was blurred, his body unmoving. "Oh right, that pen must have done a number on my spine… I can't move anymore…"
NO
A thought, no, a voice? Yes, a voice suddenly spoke. Asaki couldn't move his head to look for the source. He began to feel helpless from the situation he was in.
YOU CANNOT GIVE UP
"That's a nice thought, but even if I wanted, I can't do anything anymore." Asaki started to cry. "I can't even move a finger!"
CURIOUS
THIS TIME YOU ARE THE ONE THAT'S CRYING
"Huh? Wait, are you...?" Yes, even though he hadn't heard his voice, he was sure that he had been listening to it every night for the past 3 weeks.
AS LONG AS I'M BY YOUR SIDE
YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR
SO IF YOU WANT TO GO ON
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET UP
COME ON
GET UP!
Asaki, almost automatically, started to stand, slowly and carefully, and to his surprise, his body moved just like normal.
"What… is this?" His hand touched his face, the mysterious liquid coming from the back of his neck had soaked him.
But what really caught his attention was the dark figure from his dreams, hovering right next to him.
"You… You are the one calling for me?" He asked.
The figure remained still, no words came, he was focused on what was in front of him, the enemy.
"So, you also have a Stand." Kakyoin said.
"A Stand?" Asaki looked at the monster, however, this time he didn't felt fear. He could say, he found a new appreciation for the creature.
This moment was interrupted by the nurse trying to strike again, but she couldn't move, she grunted as she struggled to free herself from the little puddle in the floor.
"What? She's glued to it!" Kakyoin exclaimed, no matter how much he commanded his Hierophant, she couldn't stand up.
"Sticky… Just like this morning!" Asaki said in realization. "So that was your doing?"
Instead of a reply, his Stand showed him his fingers, the tip of them looked like those of the hoses fire trucks have.
"So it came from here…" Asaki was fascinated by what was happening, completely forgetting what just happened a few seconds ago.
"Hey, you better start focusing!" Jotaro yelled, bringing Asaki back to reality. "We still have to deal with this guy."
Kakyoin looked a bit perplexed, the circumstances had taken an unexpected twist.
"I see, so the host is useless now, truly a shame." Kakyoin threw the puppet away. "Yes, my only option now is to attack directly with my Stand!"
The nurse opened her mouth and let out a bundle of green tentacles that aimed for Jotaro and Asaki.
"Gimme a break." From behind Jotaro, a muscular purple spirit came forth.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!" Jotaro's Stand tightly grabbed the tendrils at lighting speed.
"So the arm I saw was real!" Asaki said excitedly.
"These weird tentacles are from your Stand, right?" Jotaro adjusted his hat. "How kind of you to give me a way to drag it out!"
The purple Stand pulled like a game of tug-of-war, bringing Kakyoin's Stand outside the woman.
An emerald green humanoid figure, the pattern of its body resembled that of a green melon.
"Now that I can see it, it looks weaker than mine." Jotaro said. "I could easily destroy it if I wanted to, but I think my gramps would like to have a chat with you, so I'll just knock you out."
Jotaro's Stand pulled it even closer; Hierophant Green couldn't resist its strength and was received by a punch to the face.
"Grgk!" Kakyoin uttered, the mark of the blow printed on his face as well.
Blood started to pour from his nose and mouth, the latter catching Asaki's attention. Even after such a hit, Kakyoin still had a subtle smirk on his face.
"Wait, Jotaro, something is wrong." Asaki said.
"What do you… Ah!" Jotaro realized mid-sentence, he looked at the ground, Hierophant's tentacles were everywhere, like the roots of a tree.
"From below!" Jotaro was about to move out of the way when he noticed something, Hierophant Green's hands were oozing a green liquid.
"This is the real attack, Jotaro." Kakyoin said. "Take this, Emerald Splash!"
From its palms, a torrent of the green liquid emerged, from which emerald projectiles were shot out.
Jotaro couldn't react in time to stop one of the crystals from piercing his chest. He went flying and crashed in one of the shelves full of medicine.
"Jotaro!" Asaki turned around to see the damage, it was bad. There was a big hole in both Jotaro and his Stand.
"You should worry about yourself."
Asaki turned to face Kakyoin, a satisfied smile plastered on his face. "Impressive right? The liquid energy that Hierophant harnesses in all its glory: The Emerald Splash. How about it, Asaki? Ready to experience it for yourself?"
Asaki wasn't sure what to do, the world of Stand fights was too new for him. Hell, he didn't even understand what his power was!
*Splash*
The nurse collapsed on the puddle; a scarlet trail of blood began to flow from her mouth.
"But Jotaro already pulled the Stand out of her!"
"Oh yes he did, with quite a lot of force may I add." Kakyoin pointed at Hierophants body, his lower half greatly stretched. "My Stand can go further that Jotaro's, but prefers to stay hidden, it gets quite angry when you force it out. So when it was pulled out so violently, the woman's throat was naturally torn with it."
"Damn you, you bastard!" Asaki felt a blooming anger in his stomach. "You'll pay for what you've done!"
"What's this? Are you shifting the blame to me?" Kakyoin looked at them coldly. "Jotaro, if you had accepted your death quietly and you, Asaki, had stood still like a statue, this woman could have remained unharmed. You two are the only ones to blame!"
Asaki's fists were clenched with such force that they felt numb, he finally understood how his brother felt in his last moments. Jotaro tried to stand up with difficulty, his eyes looked more serious than ever. Between Asaki and Jotaro, two different kinds of anger could be seen.
"And even now, you still face me. Instead of being ashamed of your actions, you continue to defy me. Are you waiting for me to deliver your punishment?" Hierophant Green prepared for its next attack.
"You are my Stand, right? Then you should already know what I want you to do." Asaki and the armored monster shared a knowing look. The armored Stand turned to Jotaro and shot the liquid at him. Jotaro fell to his knees.
"Infighting? No, that doesn't make any sense." Kakyoin tried to figure out the reason for this apparent betrayal.
"Puzzled, are you? If I'm being honest, I just realized the reason why I'm able to stand on both my feet right now, is thanks to this." Asaki pointed at the back of his neck.
The answer to Kakyoin's question was clear when he saw Jotaro, the hole in his chest had been completely filled by the liquid.
"I know I can't beat you, Kakyoin. I don't have any experience in this whole Stand business." Asaki and his Stand had a victorious gleam on their eyes. "But I know that the best option for us to win was to get Jotaro back on his feet!"
"Gimme a break, you could've warned me before doing that."
Jotaro fixed his hat in place and shot a piercing look at Kakyoin.
"Listen, I'm well aware that I'm no "Good Guy". Piss me off and I'll break your nose, serve me bad food and you ain't getting paid, talk big and I'll put you in your place." Jotaro stood as if the hole was not even there. "But even a guy like me knows real evil when he sees it, and that's what you are! You made that innocent woman your puppet and brought her into harm's way, and if you think I'm going to let that slide then you are dead wrong. The one who will judge your evils is ME!"
"Truly a fool to the end, everyone knows the loser is the evil one, Jojo. And I have no intention of losing." Hierophant Green came forth. "Take this, Emerald Splash!"
"Is that so? Then allow me to show you… Just how evil you are!"
Jotaro's Stand received the attack with its arms, and deflected the missiles as easily as one stretches their arms in the morning.
"Impossible! He deflected the Emerald Splash!?" Kakyoin began to lose his composure for the first time.
Jotaro didn't waste this chance, his Stand grabbed Hierophant Green by the neck and prepared its fist for the incoming pummeling.
ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORAAAA!
"Your judge is my Stand!" With this proclamation, Hierophant Green was launched to the roof, shaking the entire school.
"Guh… Such… Power…" Kakyoin started gushing blood from all over and collapsed.
Asaki looked at the crater in the ceiling in both awe and fear.
"Im glad my Stand isn't weak, but it can get more savage than me."
Asaki turned to Jotaro, now that the battle ended, he realized how close he was to him and froze.
"Calm down, I'm not gonna beat you or anything." Jotaro looked at Asaki's Stand. "I guess you didn't know you had it until recently."
"Y-Yeah, just now actually… Uh, how's your chest?" Asaki saw the hole, the liquid had turned into some kind of gel.
"Nothing I can't handle, how's your neck?"
Asaki touched it, the wound was almost fully healed. "It's almost gone, which reminds me."
Asaki went over to the collapsed nurse and poured some of the liquid in her mouth. "This should help her… Uh, do I heal HIM too?"
Kakyoin was still bleeding. Jotaro sighed and carried him. "Come on, let's skip school."
Asaki stared at him. "Where are we going?"
"To my house, you must have a lot questions, right?" Jotaro looked at Kakyoin, "a loyal servant of Lord DIO", that's what he said. "And so do I."

The Mystery Liquid
Asaki's Stand produces this liquid from the tips of its fingers.
The liquid is clear, odorless and tasteless, can easily be confused by water but drinking it won't serve as a replacement for it. It appears to have some healing properties too.
Its visible for non-Stand users.
