Pain. Pain is something a child should never be forced to feel. And it usually isn't. Most children are happy, naive. and optimistic. Most children believe that the world is all sunshine and rainbows. Unfortunately, our main character was not one of those lucky children.
Naruto Otsutsuki. A child that, at the age of 5, had gone through more pain then most of the citizens in the village. A child that was now sitting at the edge of Hokage Rock, contemplating whether or not he should jump.
"Knowone will care." He thought, inching closer to the edge. "Knowone will even notice I'm gone."
After a few moments, he finally let himself fall. He felt the strong wind slap him in the face as he fell farther and farther, getting closer and closer to his ultimate demise. When suddenly, he stopped. He opened his eyes, coming face to face with a masked man. And before he knew it, he was lying on the floor of his own apartment.
"Why? Why did you save me?" Naruto asked. He did not receive an answer as the masked man had long vanished. Naruto sat in silence for several moments, staring into nothingness.
He stood, and slowly made his way to his kitchen. He pulled out a large kitchen knife, and pointed it at his own throat. And just like before, the masked man appeared out of nowhere, grabbed the knife, and vanished.
Then, realizing he would never be freed from this life, in the eerie silence of the night, a sudden and piercing sound shattered the calm. The air seemed to freeze as Naruto, overwhelmed by agony, unleashed a blood-curdling scream. The sound echoed through half of the village, carrying with it a visceral intensity that sent shivers down the spine of anyone within earshot.
The scream began with a sharp inhale, building up like a gathering storm. As it reached its crescendo, it unleashed a primal and guttural quality, carrying a raw and unfiltered expression of anguish. Naruto's vocal cords strained and quivered, producing a sound so intense that it seemed to claw at the very fabric of the night.
The surrounding atmosphere absorbed the reverberations, creating an unsettling symphony of echoes that lingered in the air. The scream seemed to defy the normal boundaries of sound, as if it carried the weight of Naruto's most profound pain. It was a moment frozen in time, leaving an indelible mark on the stillness of the night, haunting those who bore witness to the chilling sound.
It was that night, in Konohagakure no Sato(The Village Hidden In The Leaves), that a true monster was born.

5 Months later.
2 weeks after the incident, at age 5, Naruto enrolled into the Konoha Ninja Academy, where he consistently scored the highest in each subject and quickly learned any skill taught to him, resulting in him being praised as the best his teachers had ever seen, despite the hate some of them felt towards the boy. After four months, achieving perfect grades from the start, his teachers unanimously agreed to let him take the graduation exam early due to Naruto being more than advanced enough for genin-level, which he passed later that month. During this time, he began seriously studying the history of Chakra and ninjutsu, gaining a great appreciation for them. On the day he graduated as the youngest graduate in Konoha history, he was approached by Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Fourth Hokage himself, who assessed Naruto's thinking, and decided to place him on a Genin team with his most trusted Jonin, Kakashi Hatake.

Training ground 4
Naruto had just arrived at Training ground 4, which is where the hokage had told him to go. He didn't know who his new teammates were, but he assumed that they were older than him.
"Yo." A masculine voice said, causing Naruto to turn around. The man was roughly 5'9" in height, easily towering over Naruto, who was only about 3'8". The man wore Konoha's standard infantry uniform, consisting of a green flak jacket, dark blue pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. He also wore fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand, along with black shinobi sandals. On his head he wore a black Konoha Hitai-ate(forehead protector) that was pulled down, covering his left eye. He had spiky silver hair oriented to his left side, dark gray eyes and a small beauty mark under the left corner of his mouth.
"Kakashi I presume." Naruto stated, seeming unimpress. He then noticed two kids walking behind the Jonin on either side of him. To his right, was a girl that looked to be around 5 years of age. She was about 3 '5 " in height, she wore black shinobi sandals, baggy dark brown pants and a gray long sleeve shirt. She had dark brown chest length hair with blonde streaks and hazel eyes.
To the left of the jonin was a boy who was about the same age as the girl, he was 4'0" in height and wore black sandals, black pants and a black t-shirt with the Uchiha clan crest on the back. He had raven black hair and charcoal colored eyes.
Naruto himself was 5 years old and 3'8'' in height. He wore gray pants with a black hoodie with the sleeves rolled up and black sandals. He had shoulder length spiky silver hair with bangs covering the left side of his face. His right eye had an orange iris with a horizontal rectangular black pupil. And his left eye was completely purple with an identical pupil, and several concentric circles creating a ripple effect. He also wore nine black bracelets on his right wrist, which was covered in scars along with his left one. And both of his palms had eyes implanted in them that were identical to his left one.
"Yes, I am Kakashi Hatake, and I will be your Sensei. To my left is Kagami Uchiha, grandson of the late Kagami Uchiha, and younger brother of Shisui Uchiha. To my right Is Mukai Hyuga, daughter of the late Hizashi Hyuga, younger sister of Neji Hyuga, and older cousin of the Hyuga heir, Hinata Hyuga. They will be your teammates for the remainder of your time as my student." Kakashi explained in a monotone voice with a bored expression.
"Kagami? I thought Shisui, Sasuke and Itachi were the last of the Uchiha after the coup d'état. And isn't Neji an only child?" Naruto questioned, seeming confused.
"To everyone but the Hokage and myself, yes, that is the truth. And if it's all the same to you, I'd like to keep it that way. I'd like to make a couple things clear. This is no normal genin team, you see this team was established for one specific reason. Assassination, to take down S-RANK targets that even the ANBU can't handle. All three of you have the potential to become Hokage. And I'm going to train you so you can reach that potential." Kakashi explained.
5 Years Later.
"Kisame Hoshigaki, of the Hidden Mist. Also known as "The Tailless Tailed Beast". Deidara, of the Hidden Stone. Wielder of the Explosion release. Kakuzu, of the Hidden Waterfall, the so-called Immortal. And Hidan, of the Hidden Steam, also known as 'The Immortal Butcher'. I read about them in the bingo book. They're all S-RANK missing-nin. We never stood a chance against them." Naruto explained. Naruto was sitting in a hospital bed wearing nothing but a pair of gray sweat pants that the hospital gave him. His appearance hadn't changed much in the last five years, although he was now about 5"1' in height.
Naruto's body was riddled with a countless number of scars. But the most noticeable ones were the ones he had received in a battle against the aforementioned missing-nin' only a day prior. Naruto's right eye had a large vertical slash running across it, starting just above his eyebrow and ending just below his cheek bone, and the eye itself had been replaced with one that had a completely white iris with seemingly no pupil. He also had a very large X shaped scar on the right side of his ribs that stretched all the way over to the left side of his chest.
"I wasn't strong enough to protect your brother. And for that I am truly sorry. If you would like, I will commit Seppuku as punishment for my utter failure." Naruto stated as he bent down to his knees and bowed deeply.
"Please raise your head, Naruto. This was not your fault. I should have never sent you on that mission. I have failed you as both your Hokage, and your friend. I am so very sorry." The man said, bowing deeply on his knees just like Naruto, tears streaming down his cheeks from the guilt of sending his own brother to his death.
"Before Mukai and Kagami turned to ash, They gave me their eyes. Mukai's left eye had been destroyed, so she gave me her right and told me to use it to protect the village. Kagami handed me both of his eyes, and told me to do with them as I saw fit." Naruto explained. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a small cylindrical glass container. Inside the container floating in a light green liquid was a pair of eyes with blood red irises and three black tomoe surrounding a small black pupil. Naruto handed the container to Shisui.
"Thank you Naruto. Now go home. You need time to grieve, and heal." Shisui said.
1 Week Later: Naruto's Apartment
Naruto had just woken up from a long night's sleep and as soon as he opened his eyes he noticed something was different with the eye Mukai had gifted him.
"Hey guys, what's up with my right eye? Something feels off." Naruto questioned.
"It seems your Byakugan has evolved. When an Otsutsuki is given a Byakugan, that byakugan evolves into a Tenseigan." Gyuki explained.
"So now I have three different Dojutsu?" Naruto asked.
"Damn right ya do. Ya got the two most powerful eyes in the world. At least try to sound excited, you ungrateful little shit." Another voice interjected.
"Shut the hell up Shukaku. You know damn well what the boy's bin threw. Nothing surprises him anymore." A much deeper and more mature voice yelled.
"Whatever Son Goku. I'm just sayin the kids got no pazazz. It pisses me off." Shukaku complained.
"What do you expect Shukaku? Naruto-kun has experienced more pain than almost everyone in the village. His heart is broken and his emotions are dulled." A more feminine sounding voice chimed in.
"Enough!" A booming voice echoed through the mindscape closing all of them to freeze.
"Shukaku, the one-tailed tanuki. Matatabi, the two-tailed cat. Isobu, the three-tailed turtle. Son Goku, the four-tailed monkey. Kokuo, the five-tailed horse. Saiken, the six-tailed slug. Chomei, the seven-tailed beetle. Gyuki, the eight-tailed ox. And myself, Kurama, the Nine-tailed fox. We are the Nine tailed-beasts. We are the strongest beings on the planet. So quit acting like children and talk to the boy." Kurama demanded.
"I'm sick of this crap." Naruto sighed. He then slammed his hand on the ground and suddenly nine puffs of smoke revealed nine odd looking cat sized creatures.
First was the one-tail Shukaku. He was a sandy-brown coloured tanuki, with black cursed seal markings all over his face, body, and tail. he had a jagged, concave mouth with no tongue, and the sclerae of his eyes were black, with yellow irises and pupils that each took the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it.
Next was the two-tails Matatabi. She was two-tailed, like a bakeneko, and was completely engulfed in flames, like a Kasha. She also had heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green, similar to an odd-eyed cat without pupils.
Next was the three-tails Isobu. He primarily resembled a large turtle, but with a crab-like shell, spikes all over his body, and three shrimp-like tails. Under his shell, he had red, muscle-like tissue. He had a pair of human-like arms and hands, but no hind-legs. His face was concealed between a large forehead and lower jaw, both of which had spikes. And his eyes were red and had crimson pupils.
Next was the four-tails Son Goku. He was a red-furred and green-skinned monkey, with a body-build of a gorilla. He had eyes with yellow irises and white pupils, spike-like protrusions along the length of his tails, elongated blunt fangs, and two long horns curving upwards on his forehead like a crown (both his fangs and horns are dark-tipped). In his mouth, Son didn't have a tongue, but had an opening that was shaped like a dome volcano.
Next was the five-tails Kokuo. He primarily resembled a white horse, but with a dolphin's head. He had two pointed long horns and three shorter horns in front. The ends of his horns, hooves, and tails were tan, with some of the same-coloured spots before the tan areas of his horns and hooves. He also had red markings under his dark blue-green eyes.
Next was six-tails Saiken. It was an enormous white, with a light blueish tint, bipedal slug with stubby arms, feet and six long tails. It had two prominent optical tentacles (eyes) and hole-like openings as a mouth. And its entire body was covered in a thick, slimy substance.
Next was the seven-tails Chomei. She resembled a blue, armored rhinoceros beetle, with six of her seven tails resembling green insect wings, along with an actual seventh tail, all growing from the end of her abdomen. The stem of the tail was green but the wings were orange. Her eyes seemed to be covered by a helmet-like skull, from inside of which, an orange glow could be seen. She also had spike protrusions on her shoulders and a row of slits on each shoulder, and six legs, three on each side. The legs are also covered by the blue armor, with the exception of extreme ends which are green in color. She had two pincers with three parts on her face, covering a mouth full of sharp teeth. On her back behind her head, she had a large two sectioned horned protrusion.
Next was the eight-tails Gyuki. He was an ushi-oni with four long horns on his head, similar to that of a Jacob sheep. The lower left part of his horns were permanently sliced off. He also had straight teeth. Gyūki also had a muscular upper-body structure, with a hunched back similar to an American bison, arms with spiky protrusions on the elbows, and hands with opposable thumbs like that of a human. Instead of hind-legs, his lower half consisted of his eight tails, which resembled the cephalopod arms of an octopus.
Finally, standing in front of them all, was the nine-tails Kurama. He was a red-orange coloured kitsune with black fur around his red eyes that stretch up to his ears, and nine long swiping tails. He also had an upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on his clawed hands.
"Since when can you summon us?" Matatabi asked, surprised.
"Since just now." Naruto said sarcastically.
"From now on you guys can stay in this form for as long as you want. Do whatever you want. Just try not to destroy anything in the village, or anyone." Naruto explained.
"Oh I know what I'm doing." Matatabi said with a suggestive grin while looking at Kurama and liking her lips seductively.
"Aren't you technically siblings?" Naruto asked, slightly grossed out.
"No. We're just pieces of the same being so technical we're all the same person." The cat answered dumbly.
"Ugh. Ya this isn't gonna work." Naruto sighed. He placed his hands together and his Rinnegan glowed. Suddenly all of the tailed beasts were surrounded by what seemed to be pure chakra that originated from Naruto. Several moments later, the chakra vanished, revealing 9 naked humans.
In place of Kurama was a young man who was about 6"1' in height and had short spiky orange hair and blood red eyes with black slitted pupils. He had a lean muscular build along with three cat-like whiskers on either cheek.
In place of Gyuki was a young man who was about 6"0' in height and had shoulder length faded-purple hair and the same colored eyes with no visible pupils. And he had a muscular build.
In place of Chomei was a young woman who was about 5"7' in height and had knee length dark blue hair and hazel eyes. She had a beautiful slender build and soft G-cup breasts.
In place of Saiken was a young man who was about 6"3' in height and had relatively long snow-white spiky hair and vibrant blue eyes. And he had a lean muscular build.
In place of Kokuo was a young man who was about 6"6' in height with lightly-tanned skin and white hair. His hair was of an uneven length, the longest strands reached his shoulders, and were styled with three more notable, shorter clumps arching up to fall as bangs between his eyes and on either side of his face. He had quite thin, vibrant white eyes that appeared to slant inwards, each with one long eyelash flowing to the far side of his face. He had broad shoulders and a muscular build.
In place of Son Goku was a young man who was about 6"5' in height and had short spiky crimson hair and turquoise eyes. He was a sturdily built man with a very muscular physique. He also had a small amount of stubble on his chin.
In place of Isobu was a young man who was about 6"2' in height and had short, spiky, snow white hair and thin black eyebrows, as well as a pair of scarlet-red eyes. He had a lean muscular physique and small beard and mustache.
In place of Matatabi was a petite loli looking girl who was about 4"11' in height and had pale skin and long, water-blue colored hair that reached below her waist as well as heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green. And she also had blue cat-like ears on the top of her head along with two long blue cat-like tails and soft A-cup breasts.
In place of Shukaku was a young man who was about 5"10' in height and had short spiky blonde hair along with black eyes with yellow irises. He had a lean muscular physique which was covered in black cursed seal markings.
"What did you do?" Kurama asked.
"I altered your genetic code, and gave you physical human bodies. You are now completely human. You still have all the power you did before. It's just more contained. You are not sealed anymore, but our chakra is still connected, so you can lend me strength whenever you want. We need to get you some clothes. Just wear my sweats for now." Naruto explained, throwing them each a set of his clothes.
30 minutes later: Hokage's office.
"So. You're telling me that these are the nine tailed beasts, who you turned human, and now you want me to instate them as Shinobi of Konoha?" Shisui Uchiha, the 5th Hokage of Konoha asked in slight disbelief.
"Yes. They've all sworn loyalty to Konoha." Naruto answered.
The young Hokage paused for a moment, considering what sort of consequences could come from this decision.
He sighed. "Well then. If you're going to be shinobi, I can't just make you all regular jonin. I'll call you the 'Ten Shadows Of The Leaf'." Shisui explained, throwing a black hitai-ate to each of the tailed beasts.
2 Years Later: Hokage's office.
"You're putting me in a Genin team?" Naruto said in slight disbelief. Naruto had grown to about 5"5' in height and had the bangs of his shoulder length silver-white hair tied back into a half ponytail. He now wore the standard Konoha infantry clothing, consisting of a green flack jacket, black pants, and a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He also had what seemed to be 18 fist sized black spheres that floated behind him, forming a circle.
"No, I'm putting you in charge of a Genin team. You're a Jonin so you will be a sensei. I believe being around new people will help you become more normal, or, you know what I mean." Shisui tried explaining.
"Regardless. I am your Hokage and you will go wherever I tell you to go. And you are going to lead Team 7. Your students will be Hanabi Hyuga, who graduated several years early, Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi's younger brother, and Tomoki Senju Hyuga, Nidaime-sama's great-granddaughter, and the last Senju in the village." The 5th finished.
"I'm putting you on this team because during the coup, Sasuke awakened his sharingan, and you are the only one available that can teach him how to use it. I can't because I'm Hokage, I don't have time, and Itachi is my aid, so he doesn't have time either." Shisui explained.
"And what about the Shadows? Someone needs to lead them. And it can't be Kurama, he's an idiot." Naruto sputtered.
"The Shadows will be fine. Now, go meet your team. They're at the academy." Shisui ordered.
Naruto rolled his eyes and suddenly vanished, leaving a trail of silver lightning in his wake.
Several seconds later: Konoha ninja academy.
Naruto reappeared in a classroom with yet another silver flash, and suddenly without warning, a black haired girl hurled a large book at the boy and released a blaring scream.
Naruto caught the book like it was nothing, and without a moment's hesitation, he threw it back at the girl and it smacked her in the face, causing a nosebleed.
"Don't throw stuff at me." Naruto stated flatly.
"Who are you?" a boy asked rather impolitely. The boy was about 5"0' in height and had armpit length spiky black hair with a few chin length bangs covering his left eye. He had black eyes and wore a high collar black t-shirt with the Uchiha symbol on the back. He also wore a pair of black shorts and black sandals.
Next to the boy was a young girl who was about 4"9' in height and had pale white eyes with no visible pupils. She had shoulder length spiky snow white hair with a single bang hanging down on the right side of her face, slightly covering her eye. She also had three red markings, one under both of her eyes and one on her chin. She wore an oversized black sweater that had the Senju clan symbol on the upper back, and just below it was the Hyuga clan symbol. She also wore a small pair of black shorts that weren't visible due to the length of the sweater. Finally she wore a pair of black thigh-high socks with a tool pouch strapped to her right thai, and black sandals. And she had a black clothed Konoha hitai-ate tied around her neck.
Finally, lying on the floor trying not to cry, Was a girl who was about 4'3 in height and had waist length black hair tied into a side ponytail on the right side of her head, with a few loose bangs here and there. She wore a sleeveless, black v-neck shirt with mesh armor underneath along with black shorts and black sandals.
"Hey." The raven haired boy's voice interrupted Naruto's train of thought, annoying him.
"I asked you a question. Who the hell are y–" The arrogant boy didn't get to finish his question as he felt an immense pressure on his body. His knees hit the floor and he gasped for air as Naruto released a massive amount of KI(Killing Intent).
"Know your place Uchiha. I will be your sensei from this day on. And you will not speak to me like that again." Naruto stated, holding back his KI.
"Sasuke Uchiha. Hanabi Hyuga. And Tomoki Senju Hyuga. You will be my students. If you go out of line, you'll be punished. If you fail a mission, you'll be punished. If you don't follow my orders to the T, you'll be punished. So shut up and meet me at training ground 7." The Jonin finished, vanishing in a silver flash.
15 minutes later: Training ground 7.
"What the fuck took you so long." Naruto stated flatly as the three genin finally entered the training ground.
"You told us to come here, but you didn't tell us where it was. So it took awhile to find." Hanabi explained nervously, blushing slightly.
"Whatever. Tomoki, Hanabi, go stand over there. Sasuke, come here. I'm going to test your skills in battle individually. Come at me with the intent to kill. Use every jutsu you know. And if you fail to impress me.. You will be punished." Naruto finished, sending a chill down his students' spines.
"Three… Two… One… Go!" Naruto shouted, surprising the Uchiha.
Sasuke froze, not expecting to start this soon. And suddenly, Naruto's first was planted in his chest as the jonin whispered something about not losing focus. Sasuke was sent hurtling into the wall of the arena. The boy coughed up blood as he slowly stood.
"I heard you're good at fire style jutsu. Show me something you think would impress me." Naruto ordered.
Sasuke then formed several hand seals(snakerammonkeyboarhorsetiger) and called out"Fire-style: Fireball jutsu." Suddenly he spit a massive fireball from his mouth which came charging towards Naruto.
As the blazing inferno came towards the jonin, his right eye seemed to change slightly. It gained a barely noticeable pupil and the veins around the eye and his temple and cheek seemed to bulge, and what seemed to be cracks appeared on the eye itself.
Naruto raised his right hand and brought it down on the jutsu in a chaping motion. As his hand came in contact with the ball of fire, it split in half, harmlessly passing by the jonin on either side of him.
"What? How?" Sasuke blurted out in shock.
"Shut up and keep fighting." Naruto ordered, tawsing a few shuriken at the boy.
Sasuke barely managed to dodge the shuriken. To him they were practically moving in slow motion thanks to his now fully developed sharingan. But regardless, his body wasn't fast enough to react.
The Uchiha threw a kick at the jonin's head, which he easily brushed off, hitting the boy with a punch to the jaw. They exchanged hits for several minutes until Naruto stopped.
"Enough." He started and Sasuke froze.
"I've got a good idea of what you can do. Hanabi, you're next." He finished.
Sasuke angrily walked off to the side and Sakura nervously made her way towards Naruto, stopping about 10ft away.
"I already have an idea of what you can do because of your academy records. You graduated five years early, your genjutsu is low-chunin level, your ninjutsu is high-genin level, and your taijutsu is high-chunin level, maybe even low-jonin level. You have a lot of potential. Since you are a Hyuga, you naturally have low-kage level chakra control, so I would like to train you in genjutsu, and maybe medical ninjutsu." The silver haired jonin explained.
"Now go back to where you were. Tomoki, Here, now." Naruto ordered. The aforementioned girl rushed into position, not wanting to anger her new sensei.
Suddenly, without a moment's hesitation, the girl charged Naruto, throwing a powerful kick at him, which he effortlessly dodged.
"Bout time one of you took the initiative." Naruto said, smirking.
