Hello, everyone in FanFiction, Wattpad, DeviantART and AO3! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with the first-ever crossover between the Castlevania game franchise and the Darkstalkers fighting-game franchise. It's called Castlevania: Rondo Of The Darkness! The plot goes like this.
After helping the Darkstalkers in defeating Pyron and Jedah Dohma, Harry Grimoire is starting classes at a new college he's been accepted to, but is bullied by a pair of thugs. However, my main Castlevania OC, Tristan Belmont, arrives to save Harry, and reveals that one of the thugs is a Vampire, who Tristan executes using the Vampire Killer, the strongest Combat Cross forged by the legendary alchemist and weaponsmith, Rinaldo Gandolfi. Tristan reveals to Harry that he is a direct descendant of the Belmont Family, a family of monster hunters who have fought against supernatural enemies. However, the group gets some shocking news: Jedah Dohma has resurrected both Dimitri Maximoff and Mathias Cronqvist, AKA Dracula, with the intent of enslaving both Humans and Darkstalkers. Now, Harry and Tristan can't allow this to happen, so they ally with Dracula's good-natured Dahmpir son, Alucard, and the various Darkstalkers that Harry has met, such as the werewolf, Jon Talbain, the catwoman nun, Felicia, the jiangshi, Hsien-ko, and others to name a few. Can Tristan and co. defeat Jedah, Dimitri and Dracula once and for all? If so, then grab a soda, pop some popcorn, order a pizza, and get ready to find out, as well take a ride in:

Chapter 1: The Journey Begins!
Centuries ago, in the European country of Romania, there were legends of the nocturnal beings who could rip a person to shreds. There was a part of Romania called Transylvania, where the legends were of vicious Vampires. During this time, Leon Belmont, a baron in the Crusades, had returned to Romania to save his beloved fiancée Sara Trantoul, along with his closest friend, Mathias Cronqvist. But, a man named Ronaldo Gandolfi had met up with Leon in the Forest Of Eternal Night, who explained that Leon's beloved Sara had been captured by Walter Bernhard, a vampire who ruled the castle and awoke the undead.
Walter had already bitten Sara and she sacrificed her soul into the Whip Of Alchemy Leon used to defeat the monsters, but after she had merged with it, she was successful in remaking this weapon into a new whip called the Vampire Killer. Walter saw that Leon had the power to defeat him and he was surprised. After their fight, Walter realized he had lost. But he boasted that he would come back and find the Crimson Stone. Ironically to him, Death entered and took his soul, and then transferred it to the "king who wields the Crimson Stone".
It turned out to be none other but Mathias, Leon's most trusted friend. Mathias elaborated on his scheme - he used everyone and orchestrated everything that happened to get Walter's soul. After Elisabetha died, Mathias felt betrayed by God. He took away the person he loved most, even after he risked his life fighting heretics. He defied mortal life and cursed God forever.
Mathias then offered Leon to join him and become immortal, because Leon suffered the same loss. Leon refused and kept his promise to Sara. Mathias left Death to kill his former friend.
Leon emerged victorious. He then told Death to relay this message to Mathias: "You have become a cursed being and I will never forgive you. This whip and my kinsmen will destroy you someday. From this day on, the Belmont Clan will hunt the night."
Mathias escaped to foreign lands, where he continued to curse God. He eventually proclaimed himself 'Lord of the Vampires' and 'King of the Night'. He would eventually hand down that title to Vlad Tepes, who would become known as two different aliases, 'Vlad The Impaler' and most notably 'Count Dracula, king of the Vampires'.
This would later be passed down through generations of his family, starting with his descendant, Trevor Belmont who aided Dracula's former disciple, Hector. He also had the aide of a rogue named Grant Dynasty, a lovely young priestess named Sypha Belnades, who would later become Trevor's wife and Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes/Alucard, Dracula's son who was rebelling against his own father.
The next one to take up the Vampire Killer whip and the Morning Star whip would be Simon Belmont, a gallant warrior and great-grandson of Christopher Belmont. It then his grandson Juste would take up the whip and find Dracula's Relics, but also had to save his lover Lydie from his best friend, Maxim who had been possessed by an evil spirit born out of Dracula's remains.
Later on in the year 1792, Dracula was reawakened back to life again by the Dark Priest Shaft, and his cult of Dracula worshipers. Richter Belmont, descendant of Simon and Juste, takes up the whip and sets out to find and kill Dracula and save the women kidnapped from his town, including his fiancée Annette. Aided by Maria Renard, a girl with mysterious powers as well as Annette's younger sister, Richter prevails over Dracula. However, Richter was left defenseless from his battle with Dracula and Shaft's curse enters his body.
Alucard would later reawaken after 300 years of sleep to put an end to Dracula's legacy and help Maria Renard, who had grown up over the years, to find Richter Belmont who had vanished. Though his body had been destroyed, the Dark Priest, Shaft continued to exist as a spirit contained inside of a crystal ball. He took over Richter's body and made him do awful things, resurrecting Dracula in the process. Alucard then freed Richter from Shaft's influence and Alucard defeated his immortal father. Then in the 1800's, the Belmont Clan faded into obscurity and it was the Morris family's turn to take the King of the Vampires down, due to Richter feeling ashamed of what he had done while under Shaft's influence and passed it down to the Morris Family.
Quincy Morris would be the first of the Morris Clan to take up the whip, and then passed it down to his son John Morris during World War I in 1917. John and his best friend Eric Lecarde went to fight against Elizabeth Bartley, Dracula's niece who had been causing danger around the countries. During World War II, John's son, Johnathan Morris would take up the whip and along with his ally, Charlotte Aulin went to confront another vampire named Brauner, who defeated him and Dracula too.
Though Richter felt ashamed of the stain he placed on his clan, Johnathan Morris would help Julius Belmont redeem his family name in 1999 with the aid of the Belnades Clan and Alucard who had awoken yet again during the solar eclipse. With the secret art of the Hakuba Clan, Dracula's castle is trapped and confined within the darkness of the eclipse. With his source of power and means of resurrection sealed away, Dracula is slain permanently, forcing the dark lord to find a host body to contain himself in, or so it would seem, but it was prevented by someone who did not want the Vampire King to die.
Meanwhile, there existed another dimension, known as the Realm Of Makai, which was inhabited by beings known as 'Darkstalkers', which were beings that were based around werewolves, vampires, zombies, yeti, mummies, jiangshi, catwomen, and more. They were also often referred to as the 'Old Races' and the one who was the most powerful was a vampire named Demitri Maximoff.
One of the nobles, Belial Aensland, the ruler of Makai, had adopted a succubus and named her Morrigan. She was to be the successor to his lineage, but half of her true power was taken from her and would only be given if she were old enough and ready to have it. She also took an interest in the Human world and always thought of humans as nothing more than food, due to her feeding on the souls of men via their desires for women. There was also the Voshtal clan, who were devils and the leader of the clan, Galnan, fell in battle against a flaming entity called Pyron.
The realm of Makai was discovered by a young man by the name of Harry Grimoire, a young teenager who encountered two of the Darkstalkers, the succubus, Morrigan, and the catwoman, Felicia. It was discovered that Harry was a direct descendant of the court wizard of King Arthur, Merlin, and he used a spellbook to help Felicia, Morrigan, and other Darkstalkers in turning the tide of battle against Pyron and his forces.
We now turn to a new page in history's books.
It shows a young man with blonde hair, blue eyes, and half-moon glasses disembarking from the local bus, wearing an orange vest over a green shirt, indigo-blue jeans, and black sneakers. This was Harry Grimoire. In his youth, Harry encountered Felicia and Morrigan Aensland, who were searching for his great-great grandfather, and he used his skills in magic to face off against Darkstalkers.
"Well, here I am. I'm an official college student." said Harry, smiling a little. As he was walking up to the campus of his college, he heard footsteps, and looked to see two thugs heading his way. Harry entered a fighting stance.
"Alright, back off. I've learned some hand-to-hand combat styles from a good teacher." said Harry, as he swung at one of the thugs. He then looked at the first thug's mouth, seeing that his canines looked longer than normal.
'Oh shit! This guy's an actual vampire!' Harry gasped in his mind.
"Any last words, before we beat you to death before you start your first day at college?" said the lead thug, sneering.
"Back. Off." said a voice similar to Kimihito Kurusu from Monster Musume: Daily Life With Monster Girls, as Harry looked to see a young man standing at 5'10", with a lean and muscular build. He had auburn hair styled like Kyo Kusanagi from The King Of Fighters mixed with Mercury Black from RWBY, with a short ponytail at the bottom, and citrus-green eyes. He wore an indigo blue version of Yozora's jacket over a t-shirt with Kamen Rider Kuuga's emblem on it, blue-gray street jeans, black fingerless driving gloves, and combat boots. He had a weapon that resembled a cross holstered on his belt.
"Get lost, Boy Scout. This kind of thing doesn't fucking concern you." said the lead thug, as he was picking his nose. He then smeared a booger on the young man's cheek.
Big mistake.
*WHAM!*
The lead thug was punched square in the face. His pointer-finger had torn a massive, bloody hole through his nose.
"DON'T TRY ME, FUCKFACE!" the young man snarled, furious
"A-Aaaah! It's stuck! Getitoutgetitoutgetitout!" the lead thug yelped, shocked. The young man then slammed his fist into the thug's midsection, making the lead thug cough up blood, and then he knocked the lead thug out.
"Damned Belmont!" the other thug snarled, revealing himself to be a Vampire. The young man grabbed the weapon on his belt, and swung it, revealing that the weapon functioned like a flail, having a spiked chain and a hook-tip, striking the vampire thug several times. A silver spike extended from the bottom of the handle, and the young man stabbed the vampire thug through the chest, killing him almost instantly. The vampire then crumbled to dust.
"Holy shit…" Harry gasped. He then walked up to the young man. "Thanks for saving my skin. My name's Harry. Harry Grimoire."
"My name is Belmont. Tristan Belmont. I'm a freelance Monster Hunter." said the young man, introducing himself.
Meanwhile, in the realm of Makai, we turn to see a man with silver hair and golden yellow eyes, wearing the bottom half of a gi was busy training in martial arts. This was Jon Talbain, the son of Barabas Kreutz, a werewolf, and a Human mother. To tame the beast inside of him, Jon underwent intensive martial-arts training. He managed to maintain full control of his inner beast by defeating Dark Talbain. Jon had made some friends in his travels. Jon was meditating, until he looked to see a white cat with a fringe of blue hair on it's forehead.
"Hello there, Felicia." said Jon, recognizing the cat as Felicia, who turned into her true form. Felicia was a catwoman Darkstalker who was raised by a nun, Mother Rose, who named her Felicia. When Felicia was six years old, she discovered her true nature. Despite this, Rose didn't turn her away. When Mother Rose sadly passed away in her sleep from natural causes, Felicia left her hometown to become a musical star as a means to bridge the races of Humans and Darkstalkers. During her travels, she met several other Catgirls.
"Hi, Jon." said Felicia, as she changed into her true form. Felicia resembled a human woman with long blue hair and green eyes, as well as white fur streaking her body like a thong bikini, and limbs from the knees and elbows down. Her hands and feet were large paws with hot pink claws, and she had a tail and cat-ears.
"Everything okay?" Jon asked, curious.
"Yeah. Although, Piko wound up seeing Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood & Honey by accident, and is attending therapy, Nana and Mimi are going through puberty for the first time, because Nana's starting to grow some knockers, and Mimi had her first period, Alto's got a mild case of laryngitis, Grace is taking dance classes, Alto is trying to make some new human friends, and Nonno's trying to protect herself so she's taking some martial-arts classes to protect herself and some human kids she made friends with from bullies and thugs."
"Damn. Poor Piko had her childhood ruined." said Jon. "And it's bad enough that on New Years, the classic version of Mickey Mouse from the 1920s became part of the public domain, which means that there are now TWO public domain Mickey Mouse horror-movies in the making, as well as an episodic survival-horror game."
"But, the web-comic, Mousetrapped is a good read though." said Felicia, admitting that she liked the webcomic that was set after the events of Steamboat Willie. "Anyways, you wanna spar?"
"Sure." said Jon, as he changed into his werewolf form. The two friends then duked it out, trading punches and kicks as Felicia did a Jodan Sokutogeri-style mule kick to Jon's midsection, and Jon swiped upwards, prompting Felicia to backflip, but Jon wound up stepping on Felicia's tail by accident.
"*MROWWWWWWW!*" Felicia yowled, as her eyes watered.
"Oh, shit! Felicia, I'm so sorry!" said Jon, with an apologetic look on his face, knowing that he didn't mean to hurt his friend.
"It's OK, just be more careful with where you're stepping." said Felicia, looking at her friend. The two then stopped sparring, and Felicia took a swig of water.
"Here's hoping things stay peaceful for a while, with Pyron and Maximoff defeated," said Jon.
Later, Harry followed Tristan to an inn, where he saw several other people armed with different weapons for hunting monsters.
"So, you come from a long line of monster hunters?" said Harry, amazed.
"Yes. My ancestor is Trevor Belmont. I'm the current descendant of the Belmont Clan." said Tristan, explaining everything. "This inn is for monster hunters who take jobs related to any monster-related attacks. We also are aware of the existence of the "Darkstalkers", and we maintain balance between Humanity and Monsters."
"Huh. Neat." said Harry.
"Welcome back, Tristan." said the barkeeper. This was Nikolai Horak, a Czechoslovakian barkeeper for the inn that Tristan got monster hunting jobs from. "You want your usual meal?"
"Yeah. One double-bacon pretzel-bun cheeseburger with colby jack cheese and turkey bacon, with a side of tofu fries, and a cherry cola." said Tristan.
"Coming right up." said Nikolai, as he gave the order to the chef.
"Hi, Tristan." said a voice similar to Sango from InuYasha. Tristan smiled and saw a woman standing at 6'8". She resembled Sakurako Hono from Mazinger Angels mixed with Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail. She was stacked, busty with K-cup breasts, had auburn hair styled like Yang Xiao-Long and Raven Branwen from RWBY, and citrus-green eyes. She was dressed similar to Mamiya from Fist Of The North Star: Ken's Rage. This was Kelli Lecarde.
"Hi, Kelli." said Tristan, smiling at his crush. "This is one of my fellow monster-hunters, Kelli Lecarde."
"It's a pleasure to meet you." said Harry. "My name is Harry Grimoire."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Harry." said Kelli, smiling.
"The pleasure's all mine, Ms. Lecarde." said Harry.
Meanwhile, in Romania, we turn to see the Shinigami, Jedah Dohma, looking at a priest and a monster hunter.
"We have to make sure that neither Dracula OR Dimitri Maximoff come back." said the priest, with a Romanian accented voice. "We have to make sure that those two irredeemable monsters STAY dead once and for all."
'Sorry, but I'm not one to stand by and let this happen.' said Jedah as he arrived.
"Holy shit! It's Jedah Dohma!" said the Monster Hunter, as he took out a blessed-silver katana and swung it at the Shinigami, only for Jedah to grab the blade.
"Heh. Nice dagger." said Jedah, as he snapped the blade in half. He then shredded the monster hunter's face open. The priest grabbed his weapon, only for Jedah to split it's top off. The top of the mallet landed on the priest's foot.
"AAAAGGGGHHHH!" the priest yowled, as he then hopped up and down on one foot. "Big Ben, that hurts! Ow ow ow ouch!"
Jedah then grabbed the monster hunter, and used an attack that inflated the monster hunter's body like a water-balloon with blood, until the hunter's body ruptured. Some blood splashed onto the mummified bodies of Dimitri and Dracula.
'Oh…Oh God, no…!' the priest gasped, horrified. He then silently prayed, reciting a verse from the Bible, as the holes in the chests of both Dimitri and Dracula began glowing crimson red.
"*HISSSSSSSSSSS!*" went the two vampires, as they then drained the blood of both the priest and another monster hunter. They were now looking youthful again.
"Hello, Dimitri. Lord Dracula." said Jedah, as he knelt before the two vampires.
"Hello, Jedah." said Dimitri.
"Shinigami, do you know what year this is?" said Dracula, curious.
"It is the year 2024." said Jedah. "It has been several centuries since you were defeated and slain."
"By thunder! We have been dead for that long?" said Dracula. "And it's all because of those damned Belmonts!"
"We will aid you in ending the Belmont Clan once and for all." said Dimitri. "And together, we will make both Humanity and the Darkstalkers kneel before us."
Later, at the inn, we turn to see Harry speaking with Kelli and Tristan. "So, you guys are both from different bloodlines of monster-hunters."
"Yep. That about sums it all up." said Tristan. Suddenly, they looked to see a young man with long blonde hair and red eyes arrive wearing stately attire. This was Adrien Farenheit Tepes, AKA Alucard, the Dahmpir son of Dracula. Alucard had his sword, Crissaegrim sheathed on the left side of his belt, and his Combat Cross, Dark Pain holstered on the right side of his belt.
"Hello there, Alucard." said the innkeeper.
"Hello there, Nikolai." said Alucard, smiling at the Czechoslovakian innkeeper. Alucard sat down for some Earl Gray tea and some macarons.
"Alucard? Is there something on your mind?" said Kelli, curious.
"Yes. A Darkstalker known as Jedah Dohma has brought both my father, Dracula, and another vampire by the name of Dimitri Maximoff back to life." said Alucard, shocking everyone. "And they're planning on enslaving both Humans and Darkstalkers altogether."
"It's gonna be up to all of us to stop them." said Tristan. He then went to his room in the inn, to gear up. He grabbed the Vampire Killer, which was the strongest Combat Cross, and the only Combat Cross that can permanently kill an immortal being. He also grabbed a spear, which was the one used by the late Joan Of Arc, and a sheathed katana, this katana was the cursed sword, Muramasa.
(Author's Note: The appearance for Joan Of Arc's lance is similar to that of the one from Fate/ZERO, whereas the appearance for Muramasa is based off of Harusame from Shaman King, Yamato from Devil May Cry 5, and a Dark Dragon Samurai Katana from AdventureQuest Worlds.)
Tristan then grabbed some throwing-daggers, as well as some iron horseshoes, a repeating crossbow that had a hand-crank on the side, and a revolver. The revolver in question was known as the Daylight Dreamer.
(Note: Tristan's throwing daggers resemble the once used by Ciel in Elsword, whereas Daylight Dreamer resembles the AGL ARMS .45 Long Colt guns used by Vash The Stampede and Millions Knives from Trigun.)
"That's a new one." said Alucard, curious. "I've never seen you use a gun before."
"Perfect job for these bad boys." said Tristan, revealing some bullets. "I made 'em myself. Holy water, silver shavings, clove-leaf, white oak, the whole shebang." he then loaded the gun with the bullets. Jacob then changed clothes.
(Author's Note: Jacob's monster hunting attire is a cross between the Assassin's robes from the Assassin's Creed games and the Kamura Monster Hunter attire from Monster Hunter Rise.)
Tristan then put on a silver rosary necklace that had a blue moonstone gem in the center.
"It's time we put both Dimitri Maximoff and Dracula down once and for all, and save both Humanity and the Darkstalkers from this nightmare."
"Right." said Kelli.
Later, it shows a castle in the making, as Dracula was speaking with his followers, such as the Dark Priest, Shaft, the Grim Reaper, Death, Beelzebub, the demon embodiment of gluttony, Carmilla, a vampire countess, Hector, one of the Devil Forgemasters, Isaac, a fellow Forgemaster who was Dracula's most loyal follower, and Godbrand, one of Dracula's generals. Dimitri had gathered Lord Raptor, a Zombie with a penchant for rock music, Queen-B, a insect-woman, Bishamon, a soul chained to a suit of samurai armor, and Bonnie Hood, a Darkhunter who murdered Darkstalkers.
"This time, we will end the bloodline of the Belmont clan, as well as the Aensland and Kreutz clans." said Dimitri, "And we will reign supreme over both Mankind and Darkstalkers!"
Dracula chuckled darkly. 'Now, this promises to be interesting.' he thought.
(Author's Note: Dracula's castle, Castlevania, resembles Castle Fortuna from Devil May Cry 4, the castle from Symphony Of The Night, and the castle from Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night.)
"Soon, we will have both Humanity and the Darkstalkers as our slaves!" said Dracula. Dracula and Dimitri's forces all cheered.

Next time, on Castlevania: Rondo Of The Darkness, Tristan and co. take a train to Romania, where they encounter some of the Darkstalkers, in this case, Felicia, Jon, Hsien-ko, Morrigan Aensland, and Morrigan's sister, Lilith, who inform the group of how bad that things have gotten in the realm of Makai, with some of their fellow Darkstalkers either forced into slave-labor camps or sentenced to summary execution for speaking out against Dimitri and Dracula. Now, they can't let this happen. They later get a side-job, investigating a string of disappearances related to a new pastor in a Romanian village. Can they be able to find out what's going on? Find out in Chapter 2: The House Of God!
Well, here it is: my first-ever crossover between Castlevania and Darkstalkers. To be honest, I am pretty damn proud of myself for this one.
