I gaped at Kol in shock, "Is there any way to save both the mom and the baby?"

Kol shrugged, "Possibly. I need to see the mother." Uncle Kol continued. "I think you better take me to the Cullen's. Can you apparate us there?"

"They're currently in a place called Forks, Washington. I've only ever been to Seattle so I can apparate us there and then we'll have a 3 hour drive to Forks - if we go to the speed limit."
I replied back.

"His long before you're ready?" He asked. "We need to get there as soon as possible."

I motioned to my bag, "I'm ready now. We've been on the road all summer so my bag is packed."

"Perfect," invite Kol said. "I can worry about clothes later if you can transfigure something now."

I nodded. "That won't be a problem.)'

I quickly transfigured his torn and bloody suit into a pair of jeans and t-shirt. Then after grabbing my bag I apparated us to a wizard community in Seattle I had been to many times. We were greeted by Jasper who was standing there waiting.

"My wife saw that you would be coming and sent me to pick you up." He said as greeting.

"Hello Major. I'm not surprised she saw us." I said with an easy smile. "This is my uncle Kol Mikaelson. " I introduced Kol. "Uncle Kol, this is Major Jasper Whitlock. His wife, Alice can see the future once someone makes up their minds."

Kol nodded, "Nice advantage to have. My last girlfriend could sometime see the future. It's nice to meet you Major."

"Likewise." Jasper replied with a slight smirk and I got a feeling he knew something I didn't. I pushed the feeling aside thought, there was more important things to consider right now, or so I thought.

Once in the car Jasper filled us in on the reason why we were there. His brother Edward had met a girl named Bella, at the high school they attended and started dating her. They ended up getting married and Bella got pregnant. Now there was a big to do about whether the baby should be aborted or not.

"What exactly has your wife seen?" I asked.

"That's part of the problem. She can't see anything involving the baby, she gets a migraine when she tries. She's on board with getting rid of the baby though." Jasper replied.

"What's your opinion?" Uncle Kol asked.

Jasper frowned, "I don't know. I can feel Bella's desire to keep it so strongly as well as my sister Rosalie's. I can also feel Alice and Edward's hatred towards it just as strongly. So I don't know that I have my own feelings because everything is so conflicted. "

"And you have to try and diffuse the situation which adds to the situation. " I replied. I realized I needed to explain the Major's gift to Uncle Kol. "Uncle Kol, Major has a gift to feel the emotion of others as well as the ability to control them."

Uncle Kol looked impressed, "a very useful gift as well. Though it can be quite draining."

Jasper nodded and he went back to telling us about Bella. He told us about how Bella had come across the Volturi's radar when a misunderstanding occurred while she and Edward were broken up. The Volturi was made up of a coven of cold ones who ruled over the cold ones. It was not good to be on their radar.

"How long has she been pregnant?" I asked

"They got back 2 weeks ago. The fetus is growing very rapidly so she looks quite far along." Jasper replied.

Uncle Kol nodded, "These types of pregnancies progress very quickly. The baby will be here within the month."
