Chapter 6: Battle for the Galaxy
The Shadow guards between two Jedi and the Sith Lord attacked buy Anakin and Obi-Wan killed them at an instant and attacked Palpatine.
Anakin lunged his lightsaber at Palpatine with the Sith Lord doing the same.
They clashed their laser blades with Obi-Wan running from behind Anakin and clashed at the Sith Lord's red lightsaber.
This battle was to be this version's battle of the heroes between Obi-Wan and Anakin but in THIS version of the light side it was Anakin and Obi-Wan's battle for the Galaxy between them and Palpatine and it was to be their greatest battle ever.
And all three dueled off the landing platform and across the bridge and into the corridor.
Obi-Wan and Anakin kept Palpatine between them in hopes to surround him so he doesn't escape but escape was not the Sith Lord's plan.
His plan was to try and deceive Anakin more in hopes he'll still become his apprentice and both kill Obi-Wan here or kill them both if he had to…
Back at Coruscant Padme still tended to go to Mustafar to help Anakin and now Obi-Wan too, knowing they went to confront the Chancellor.
Her bodyguard Captain T–4 insists he goes with her like in the original version but Padme still tells him C-3PO will look after her.
As they part ways it was Master Yoda who sneaked aboard the ship like Obi-Wan did in the original timeline but this timeline Yoda sneaked aboard.
Given he too knew of her secret relationship with Anakin, Master Yoda had his suspicions for a while and they were clear to him when Anakin told him about his nightmares of Padme not mentioning her name but he knew.
Master Yoda was the wisest in the Jedi Order. How would he not know?
But if you're asking what happened to the Younglings.
Yoda left them with Senator Organa and he took them to Polis Massa where they'll be safe before sneaking in Padme's ship.
And then it was off to Mustafar…
But there the duel for the Galaxy ragged on into the control room where the Dead Separatists lied.
Anakin tended to force push the Sith Lord down.
But Palpatine pushed him first, catching Anakin off guard.
Knocking him down on the meeting table right by Obi-Wan who raised his lightsaber to the Sith Lord.
But Sidious easily countered him by igniting his lightsaber and blocking Obi-Wan's laser blade.
Anakin recovered and while his mentor and the Chancellor distracted he tended to strike at him from behind but Palpatine sensed him and dodged Anakin's attack hoping he would kill Obi-Wan by accident but luckily he sensed him too and Obi-Wan blocked Anakin's saber saving himself from being struck by his friend by accident.
The two Jedi turned to Sidious who was laughing at them for that and both attacked him with their lightsabers and Palpatine clashed them with his.
Anakin and Obi-Wan tried to follow their enemy's every move countering his attacks and both tried to use the force on him but Palpatine blasted his lightning beams at them.
Sending them both on the control pads they landed on in the original version Palpatine tended to strike at Obi-Wan with his crimson saber but he dodged it and as a result Palpatine destroyed the panels which deactivated the ray shield on the bridge outside…
The Sith Lord retreats outside to the balcony with both Jedi tailing after him.
Palpatine nearly ambushes Obi-Wan when he walks out by nearly taking his head off with his red saber but thankfully he ducked but Anakin barely countered it with his own Saber.
Anakin kicks the Sith Lord back and Obi-Wan and attacks again only to be countered by Palpatine by clashing his lightsaber.
Anakin again tries to attack him from behind again but this time Sidious forced pushed him back and then Palpatine clashes with Obi-Wan again and knocks him down to the unprotected bridge.
Sidious laughs with glee and turns back to see Anakin charge at him and clash with them.
Palpatine flips up avoiding Anakin's saber from cutting him in half and lands on the bridge on his feet and Anakin jumps down landing on his feet himself and the two Jedi had the Sith Lord surrounded again.
This time Anakin had Palpatine distracted for Obi-Wan to strike from behind but did them little good when Palpatine countered his saber and then an erupting streak of lava burst above them forcing the three to run at the end of the bridge and avoid the debris it burns the bridge enough to become unstable and begins to tumble.
Palpatine ran for the other side and Anakin chased him with Obi-Wan behind him and the bridge broke off, falling to the lava below with Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Sidious hanging for dear life…
