I wake up the next morning to birds chirping. I open my eyes, sit, and stretch my arms out. Everyone else sits.
"Let's go back to our dorms and change." Mei Mei says. We all nod. We gather our stuff and leave.
I change into a purple and white renaissance dress and purple slippers in a dorm with purple walls, a pink floor, a pink bed, and a purple bed. I put on a white pearl necklace with three pink jewels in the middle. I take two pieces of hair from the sides of my head and put part of it in a bun and let the rest hang down. I open a dware and I unzipped the makeup bag. I grab the black lipstick container, opened it to a tan brush with pink lipstick, put it on, closed it, and put it back in the bag.
I grab the black circular blush container with pink blush and a clear lid and the big, tan brush with a black handle. I open the blush container, dab the brush in the blush, rub the brush on my left cheek, dab the brush in the blush again, rub the brush on my right cheek, and close the container. I put the blush and brush back in the bag.
I grab a black box with a clear lid showing small squares of pink, purple, turquoise, yellow, blue, green, silver, and gold eyeshadow and a small black brush with its bristles on the sides. I open it and grabbed the brush. I scrap the brush in the pink eyeshadow. I close my right eye and brush the eyeshadow on. I close my left eye and brush the eyeshadow on. I put the brush back in the container, close it, and put the container back in the bag. I zip up the bag.
I go over to a pink suitcase and open it. I stuff seven purple and white renaissance dresses, seven purple nightgowns, a green renaissance dress, a pink renaissance dress, a book about a girl who healed her sick sister who was the queen with magic, a doll that looks like me, a stuffed brown horse in the bag, my pom pom horses and my telescopes in it. I pick up my suitcase. I turn around. Esmeralda is holding a purple rolling suitcase.
"I'm going to miss having you as a roommate." Esmeralda tells me.
"You too." I reply. We hug.
We're in the cookhouse. Frederic, Eugene, and Cassandra enter. A young Irish man, with blue eyes, cleft palate, a hunchback, wearing a green tee-shirt, brown pants, and blueish-gray shoes and an European man with blonde hair, wearing a blue shirt and cape, gold armor over a blue tunic, dark blue pants, and brown shoes enter. A Columbian woman with curly gray hair, brown eyes, a sky blue shirt, and a light blue tank top dress and a European man with gray hair and mustache, glasses, a white shirt, a dark blue shirt, tie, pants, and brown shoes enter. A pink flower is in his vest pocket. A Chinese woman wearing a light blue short dress, a green jacket, and gray heels and a Chinese man wearing white glasses, a cream polo shirt, a brown belt, gray jeans, white socks and gray sandals enter. A Hispanic woman wearing a purple dress with golden lining and a purple cone-shaped hat with fabric coming out of it and an European woman with brown braided hair, a golden crown, circular blue cloths with golden stars in the middle, a white dress with golden lining, a light blue column in the middle, a golden waist with ruby diamonds, golden diamonds, golden teardrop shape with blue, more golden diamonds, the bottom is golden with triangles and a bigger latina woman wearing a purple dress with golden lining and a purple veil come in. An European boy with brown hair and blue eyes wearing a light green tank top, brown belt with a golden buckle, green pants and brown boots comes in.
"Frederic!" I exclaim as I run towards him. He picks me up and spins me.
"Eugene!" Rapunzel exclaims as she runs towards him. He picks her up and spins her.
"Phoebus! Quasimodo!" Esmeralda exclaims as she runs towards the young Irish man, with blue eyes, cleft palate, a hunchback, wearing a green tee-shirt, brown pants, and blueish-gray shoes and an European man with blonde hair, wearing a blue shirt and cape, gold armor over a blue tunic, dark blue pants, and brown shoes. They hug.
"Milo!" Kida exclaims as she runs towards the European boy with brown hair and blue eyes wearing a light green tank top, brown belt with a golden buckle, green pants and brown boots. They hug.
"Mom! Dad!" Mirabelle exclaims as she runs towards the Columbian woman with curly gray hair, brown eyes, a sky blue shirt, and a light blue tank top dress and a European man with gray hair and mustache, glasses, a white shirt, a dark blue shirt, tie, pants, and brown shoes. They hug.
"Mom! Dad!" Mei Mei exclaims as she runs towards the Chinese woman wearing a light blue short dress, a green jacket, and gray heels and a Chinese man wearing white glasses, a cream polo shirt, a brown belt, gray jeans, white socks and gray sandals enter. They hug.
"Mom!" Asha exclaims as she runs towards the Hispanic woman wearing a purple dress with golden lining and a purple cone-shaped hat with fabric coming out of it. They hug.
"Amaya!" Dahlia exclaims as she runs towards the European woman with brown braided hair, a golden crown, circular blue cloths with golden stars in the middle, a white dress with golden lining, a light blue column in the middle, a golden waist with ruby diamonds, golden diamonds, golden teardrop shape with blue, more golden diamonds, the bottom is golden with triangles. They hug.
Frederic and Eugene leave. A couple of minutes later, I hear them screaming from Angie's office. We all rush over there. Frederic is holding the piece of glass. Eugene and him are looking at the piece of glass in horror. Amaya marches up to them.
"What are you boys doing?" She questions.
"We-we just found this piece of glass." Eugene explains.
"Do you want to know what happens if you drop that and they get out? Do you?!". They shake their heads in fear. "That's what I thought. Now, put that down before it drops!". Frederic puts the piece of glass down. Rapunzel, Esmeralda, Kida, Mirabelle, Mei Mei, Asha, Dahlia, and I laugh.
"Goodbye," Esmerelda tells me as she hugs me with tears in her eyes.
"Goodbye," Kida tells me as she hugs me with tears in her eyes.
"Bye-bye," Mirabelle tells me as she hugs me with tears in her eyes.
"Bye-bye," Mei Mei tells me as she hugs me with tears in her eyes.
"Goodbye," Asha tells me as she hugs me with tears in her eyes.
"Goodbye," Dahlia tells me as she hugs me with tears in her eyes. Rapunzel, Frederic, Eugene, Cassandra and I go out to the carriage.
I am sitting on the palace steps one week later. Frederic approaches me with a postcard of a brown cathedral with the backdrop of the rising sun.
"For you, my darling." He tells me as he hands it to me.
"Thank you!" I exclaim. I flip it over. I read:
Dear Arianna,
I hope you are doing well! I miss you so much!

Esmeralda
I smile.
