Hello, fanfic readers! This is my very first fanfic. You are probably thinking, "Total Drama and Scream fanfic? Why?" To answer that I have to give credit, and shoutout, to the following creators. To any Total Drama fans, you may have heard of an AU called ' Island of the Slaughtered' created by Eavee-ry. I enjoyed the premise of the AU, and was inspired to create a thriller version of Total Drama. The second inspiration was a Youtuber that goes by the name 'WillySaintWilly', who was also inspired by Eavee-ry's AU, and made his fan-made sequel based on Total Drama Action and the 'Ghostface' killer. Also, I binge-watched all of the Scream movies, this gave me the idea to create my very own fanfic. The following story is an AU both in Total Drama and Scream and takes place during Total Drama Action. Without further ado, please enjoy.
So, don't forget to tune in to Total! Drama! Action!" the host Chris said before the episode ended. Once the credits started rolling, the TV was turned off by two teens. " Wow! That was one hell of an ending, am I right?" One teen said before turning to his friend to see a stoic look on the teen's face. " I don't like that Owen won, it should have been Gwen. At least she went through character development and had a motive, unlike Owen who just eats and makes farts jokes," he said with a bit of resentment, not pleased with the ending. " Ah, I bit of a Gwen fan I see," he teased before continuing, "Is it because she's goth? I understand that goths girls are a big thing, but I didn't think you were into them?" The other friend ball-tapped him for the comment before answering his question. " I don't have a thing for her; however, I enjoyed her role more than everyone else. She has the 'final girl' energy," he finished explaining while the other teen recovered from the pain. "I get it, man. However, I like Courtney better. Headstrong. Smart. And let's not forget Pretty, as well," the said with a goofy, dreamy smile before going a bit psychotic, " but she done dirty by her team and got eliminated before the other bastards!" He finished with spit all over his mouth. " Yeah, I hated about half of the contestants, and a good amount of them are returning for the next season."
"Oh, you mean The Punk, The Bitch, Music Boy, the Kissing Duo, and Pretty Boy I presume?"
"Correct, at least the "Codestar" is not returning"
"The same sentiment can be said for those two pink best friends. God, I couldn't stand them."
"Too bad Bookworm can't return. I liked his cynical and sarcastic personality." The two teens later spend their time discussing the other contestants and the challenges before getting to the meat and potatoes. "What I enjoyed that most was the horror serial killer episode. Gave me Friday the 13th vibes." The other friend shared the same sentiment and went on a tirade." I agree and what was the icing on the cake was that I ended up being an actual serial killer that escaped an asylum. Everyone's authentic reaction, the usual horror tropes, pretty much about everything was perfect. It's like the show was making a horror..." he said before going into deep thinking. "Uhhh, you good man?" The teen suddenly had an epiphany. "What if we make our very own slasher film with these contestants, but this time the real deal?" He said before continuing, " Think about it. The next season is going to be based on movies of all genres, including horror slasher films." The other friend understood the premise before having a psychotic smile on his face. " With this being a popular show right now, we can use this opportunity to make a name for ourselves in the horror genre!" "Bingo! But there are a few problems. One. How are we going to get to Canada? Two. Where will the show be filmed?" The friend had a confident smile on his face before answering. "Not problem. We'll pitch a flight tomorrow, and we'll apply to be interns." The other couldn't help but laugh. "Look out Total Drama, things are about to get bloody!"
This will conclude the prologue for this crossover fanfic, hopefully, the story goes well. As for the identity of the two teens that will remain a secret until the third act, as most Scream movies go. Let's just say these two are a very iconic duo.
