I finally finished King-Ohger yesterday and got an idea for a story of my own. This story will take place after the final battle with Dagded, in which the King-Ohgers return to Earth (the one with the Kyoryugers) after discovering a mysterious mural depicting a forgotten seventh member of the team.

Note: I know Rita is the Papillon Ohger and is already themed after a butterfly, but for the sake of my story, my seventh member is also butterfly-themed but her motif is modeled after the Monarch Butterfly.

Summary: Three years after the battle with Dagded, the King-Ohgers have been ruling their respective kingdoms in peace and its people have flourished. When a mysterious mural is discovered depicting what appears to be the long forgotten seventh member of their team, the King-Ohgers travel to the alternate Earth where their ancestors hailed from in search of this mysterious member...

Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to Super Sentai aside from my plot and OCs.

Chapter I

It's been three years since the defeat of Dagded and his group of miscreants. Peace had finally been restored and everyone lived in relative calm, being able to go about their daily lives without much worry. However today was a special day as the six rulers gathered at Shugodam to witness the restoration of the Shugods after the guardians sacrificed their physical bodies during the final battle.

"Is everyone gathered?" Yanma casually asked, his eyes glued to the screen in front of him as he made final adjustments.

"We've been gathered since this morning. How long is it going to take Yanma?" Gira replied impatiently, peering over the other's shoulder every few seconds.

"I need to make sure everything is calculated correctly or my people will have spent a year for naught. Now stop bugging me for a bit while I do the final checks," Yanma countered as he pushed Gira away with one hand.

Gira huffed but sat down in his seat while he waited for Yanma to finish. Himeno handed him a cup of tea, which he took and downed in one go. Meanwhile Jeramie was discussing something with Kaguragi and Rita a few feet away from where they sat. Judging from their expressions, Gira had a feeling it must have been something important.

"Alright. Everything's ready!"

The six kings sat in their respective seats and watched as Yanma pressed several buttons on his computer. It seemed like nothing happened at first, then the kings reacted as they pressed a hand against their chests.

"I can feel it...Kuwagon is back," Gira breathed.

"I am indeed a genius," Yanma boasted with a smirk.

"Thank you for all your hard work over the past few years," Himeno spoke up.

The other three agreed.

As the kings excitedly talked among themselves about the revival of the Shugods, one of the palace guards ran towards Gira with an urgent expression on his face.

"What's going on?"

"King Gira! A new part of the mural has been revealed! Your presence is required!"

The rulers rushed off towards the mural before the soldier even finished speaking.

A new section of the mural had indeed been revealed after the sudden revival of the Shugods. Jeramie was the first to examine it since he was slightly more knowledgeable in this part.

"What does it say?"

"The mural we are familiar with depicts our ancestors leaving Earth in God Caucasus Kabuto and traveling across space before setting on Chikyuu. Our allies that we've met previously, the Kyoryugers are also on here as well. However...this part here..." Jeramie trailed off as he studied the newly revealed area.

"Wait, that looks like a Shugod."

Rita pointed at a picture showing a butterfly hovering in the air alongside a humanoid figure.

"Another butterfly? But Rita's guardian is God Papillon..." Himeno paused to study the Shugod.

"No. This one is different...this is God Monarch," Jeramie finally said.

"God Monarch?"

"I do not know the details but it seems this Shugod is hidden on Earth. We must make a trip back and see if we can find it and bring it back to Chikyuu."

The other five shared looks with one another before putting a plan into action. The rulers spent the next week organizing everything and ensuring everyone knew what to do while they were away. After appointing temporary leaders to handle their kingdoms, the six kings met back at Shugodom in preparation for their trip to Earth.

A mysterious pulsating light emanating from within a cave was extinguished by a young female using a special seal. This was the fifth time today the light began to glow, signaling the revival of an ancient enemy her people kept sealed away for a millennium. Kotone was the last of her people charged with protecting the seal and ensuring it doesn't break. However she was at her limit and even her guardian spirit was starting to grow fatigued.

"I'm at my limit soon Monarch...I don't know how much longer I can sustain the seal," Kotone breathed as she sat down at the river.

A Monarch Butterfly spirit appeared and rested on her shoulder, passing some of its restorative energy to her body to chase away the weariness.

"Thanks."

An explosion in the distance drew her attention as Kotone leaped to her feet. This forest was well hidden from view, and normal civilians would hike around the vicinity outside, leaving the inner parts undisturbed mostly. An explosion so near meant someone must have discovered the sacred forest.

She rushed off and hid behind several trees to observe, finding what appeared to be a giant spaceship of sorts in the middle of a field. Emerging from within the spaceship were six people dressed in rather...gaudy outfits that were not the current style of fashion among the younger population. Still she kept quiet and readied her weapon in case they ventured a bit too far into the forest.

That's when she noticed the weapon hanging from the back of one of the strangers.

It was exactly like the one in the drawing her family left behind.

"Monarch...is that what I think it is?" she whispered in a hushed voice.

Her guardian fluttered briefly about.

"Only one way to find out..."

Taking out her dagger, Kotone flipped a switch on it and transformed before jumping out of the forest and landing in front of the mysterious strangers.

Jeramie was the first to sense someone was heading towards their direction and reacted accordingly, only for his attacks to be swatted out of the way with ease. The stranger landed on their feet and stood up, a dagger pointed in their direction.

"Jeramie!"

The other five kings rushed over and saw the stranger standing in front of them.

"Wait, that form!"

"Could they be the seventh member we saw on the mural?"

The stranger kept their gaze trained on the group.

"Leave this place," a distinctively female voice demanded from behind the helmet.

"Wait! Are you the seventh member of our team? That form...it resembles ours when transformed," Gira interrupted.

"Leave. You are not welcome here," the stranger repeated.

"Let me handle this," Jeramie said.

Again the other five exchanged brief glances before deciding to trust their ally. Jeramie raised his hands to show he didn't mean any harm, and slowly approached the stranger who kept a defensive stance up.

Kotone became wearier when the stranger clad in white approached her slowly to show he didn't mean any harm. Her eyes flickered back and forth behind her helmet, until she saw the stranger's hands. One was normal like a human, but the other was of alien origin. Right away she knew who the stranger was, having been told about the one born between a human and Bugnarok from her clan.

Still, she had to be sure it was him.

"That hand, you are half Bugnarok aren't you?" she asked, her voice taking on a quieter tone.

The stranger paused in his steps and tilted his head to the side.

"Yes. You know who I am?" he answered after a moment's hesitation.

Kotone lowered her dagger briefly and held her hand out towards him. Wondering what she was up to, the stranger placed his hand atop hers and instantly Kotone was able to see all of his memories like a movie in her mind. The battle between the six of them and Dagded, the rebuilding of Bugnarok, the Shugods being revived in physical bodies.

She saw all of it.

"So it's true...Dagded is gone..." she murmured after removing her hand.

"You can see my memories?" he asked in awe upon realizing what had happened.

"It is the ability of my people," was Kotone's response before she turned around.

He reached out to grab her hand before she could make for the trees and disappear.

"Leave the forest. None of you should have come here. The Shugods are meant to remain on Chikyuu, return home before it's too late."

"We came here to find the missing Shugod that was lost to us."

Kotone was about to answer in response but her head started spinning and the painful feeling returned to her chest. She pressed a hand against her heart and steadied herself while God Monarch unleashed another pulse of healing energy from within. The seal was weakening even more, at this rate the evil sealed within would break free and if it got its hands on the Ohger Caliburs here...all would have been for naught.

"Go...leave...hurry..."

Then she passed out as her transformation undid itself.

"Hey!"

Jeramie caught the girl in his arms just as she suddenly passed out, her transformation cancelling itself in the process. The other five rushed over and Himeno knelt down to examine her immediately.

The air was tense as Himeno worked promptly and deftly, then she pulled back her visor and let out a breath.

"Well? How is she?" Kaguragi inquired worriedly.

"How do I put this delicately?" Himeno struggled to find the right words to say.

"She's part Bugnarok like me," Jeramie supplied as he pushed some hair back from the girl's face.

Part of her face was covered in what appeared to be butterfly scales and her right arm too sported scales along with wing-like appendages subtlely protruding out.
