Apostles and Dragons

In the middle of the night, a petite young-looking girl is kneeling, praying to her god. Her calm expression changed quickly as if she's receiving some warning.

"I see, my God Emroy, I'm here to obey your will, I will learn everything about that woman."

The girl stood up and straightened her clothes, she's wearing a black dress with red frills, black stockings supported by garters and red boots. She grabbed her huge halberd and began to walk away.

"Fufufu~, how scary~. A woman capable of eating gods? And her so-called father managed to control her? Impossible. I need more! Ahhh~! Now this is getting interesting~."

"Hardy-sama!? Are you serious!? Haah…yes my Goddess, I will obey your will."

In a forest somewhere near Coda Village, a girl is seen sleeping while talking, in truth, she is praying to her goddess. While it can be seen as rude, she just doesn't like kneeling and her goddess doesn't mind anyways. She jumped from the tree she's sleeping at, and began walking, her goddess commanded her to go to Coda Village where this mysterious woman is, as she is closer to them than most apostles. But unlike most apostles, Hardy doesn't warn her about the danger the woman possessed, she just told her to learn about anything about this woman and if it's possible befriend her. And Giselle doesn't like it one bit.

"Tan skin, Red hair and wearing a cloak that is crafted from the night sky!? Ridiculous! Also accompanied by a tall masked man wearing a black robe resembling a sage. Tsk! How troublesome, but if it's Hardy-sama's will, so be it."

Gisele is thinking hard as to why her goddess and all the gods gave their apostles the same missions, somehow she felt nervous about this. Something must be wrong for the gods to assemble their apostles.

"Am I just overthinking things? Or the gods? I just can't go to that place without checking if it's worth my presence… should I lure the Flame Dragon there? If the dragon is defeated then I will fulfill my mission but if not then it's not worth my time and at the same time my mission is done as that girl will surely get eaten, and Hardy-sama doesn't need to bother anymore with some mortal woman. Besides, that Flame Dragon craves human meat now, so it's good that I send it to a human village… Yes, what a good plan! Haha!"

Gisele started to shout what's called a draconic language, as a dragonoid herself, she is knowledgeable about a dragon's speech patterns. She knew that the Flame Dragon heard that so she just had to wait. For now, she decides to head to a dirt road connecting Coda Village to the capital.

At sunrise, Ayin woke up from the makeshift bed she and her father created. At first, he suggests that he should just summon a bed that is more comfortable, but she refuses, because she wants to experience the world. He somehow approved, saying the world is beautiful and they should enjoy nature. She was confused by that, so she kept in mind to learn more about her father Ainz. She sighed, she slept the entire night alone, she wanted to experience a daughter and father sleeping together like the one she saw last night. But she knew she was not a child physically and her father might find it weird.

"Should I make my appearance child-like? Or maybe I ask for father's permission about this?" Ayin thought out loud, and after some time, she decided that she should ask her father.

Knock knock!

"Yeah?"

"Ayin, breakfast is ready."

"Thank you Lelei! Do you know where my father went?"

"I saw him at a tree outside the gates."

This is my opportunity!

"Thanks, I'm gonna eat later, I need to speak to my father."

"I see, then come back before the food is cold."

"Sure!"

Ayin opened the window and flew through it. Many villagers saw her and stared at her for a moment before coming back to their work, but the children were amazed to see a person flying. Ayin waved at the children and they waved back, jumping in joy, hoping to fly like her one day. Using her superior eyesight, Ayin quickly found her father sitting in the shade of a tree, some dogs barking at him as if scared. She landed near him as she glared at the dogs, they whimpered and ran away.

"Father…"

"Did you eat your breakfast Ayin?"

"Not yet, can I ask you a rather odd question?"

"Odd? Umu, sure."

"Do you want me to change my appearance to a small child?"

"EH!? WHAT!? NO! I-I mean, you're good as it is my daughter." her father answered with a cough, even though he's a skeleton, something she finds pretty funny.

"B-but…"

"But what?"

"I want to experience us sleeping together."

"...I see… I'm sorry Ayin, I let you sleep last night alone, didn't I?

"You don't have to apologize father."

"No no, I understand, as a father, it's my obligation to cater to the needs of my daughter." her father stood up and patted her head, something he liked to do somehow. But she's not complaining, it's a good feeling.

"Thank you father!" She returned his affection with a hug, she took off his mask for a moment and kissed his skeletal cheek.

"That's a risky move, what if someone saw my appearance?"

"Don't worry father, I conjured a barrier the moment we arrived in this world, I only let others see what I want them to see, even those gods didn't even know you're an undead."

"Good job, even though I have an Anti-Divination Barrier, it may not be enough for those gods, are they still onto us?"

"...No, father, I can't feel their spying anymore."

"Well that's good, you need to eat breakfast now Ayin, and take a bath too, we need to leave for the capital, we can't stay here any longer."

"Why?"

"Ayin… right! Here's your first lesson. Look, we are strangers here, and we are not contributing to Cato and Lelei, I already have a map of the continent. We can't abuse the kindness of others."

"I see, then what do we do when we get there?"

"Learn anything about this world and maybe find a…job?"

"Job?"

"...Yes…" her father coughs awkwardly.

"Hehehe, okay!"

"...Yeah, off you go now Ayin." her father waved her goodbye as he sat again at the grassy shade, she nodded and flew back to Lelei's house.

"Hm… I wonder what's taking her so long, the soup is already cold…"

"You are good friends with her huh? You're not scared anymore?"

"No master, I thought at first she sees me as below her but now I know how ignorant she is about basic manners to strangers. She once told me that she felt justified killing people if they irritate her enough. She describes it by killing a bug buzzing near her."

"But her father is not like that though… I spoke with Ainz and I see him as a respectable one although I think he failed to educate his daughter based on what you said, the only thing that I find strange about him is he doesn't want his mask removed."

"Well, you can't force him, master."

"Yeah… I thought so too, he is scary enough, but not as scary as his daughter–"

"Hello! Sorry I'm late! Hehehe."

"Ayin, your soup is cold…"

"Hehe sorry Lelei. Don't worry I can reheat it, see?" Lelei saw how Ayin touched the bowl and the soup inside was hot again.

So much control over her magic, I hope I can achieve this mastery someday.

The trio continued their talks, Cato's fear of Ayin lessened the more he knew about her, he even gave her some advice too. After breakfast, Ayin asked Lelei where they bathed and since the lake is gone, Lelei pointed to a nearby river west from the village. Ayin, a little embarrassed, thanked them and quickly left.

A few hours later…

"So… this is goodbye now Lelei-san."

"Yes, you are a good friend Ayin."

"Um, you're not scared of me now right?"

"Of course not, here, a symbol of our friendship, a necklace from the Rurudo Tribe." Lelei handed her a normal looking pendant with a pretty green gem attached to it. Ayin looked at her friend and saw that she had the same one as her. Tears gather in her eyes as she is her first official friend.

"Thank you! I will treasure this Lelei-san!" Ayin hugged her friend a little bit hard.

"Y-you're so strong Ayin…I can't breathe."

"Oops! Hehe."

"Cato-san, thank you for your hospitality and kindness." Ainz said with a bow.

"Don't worry about it Ainz, I enjoyed your company, it's been a while since we have visitors."

"Umu, Ayin, let's go."

"Yes father." Ayin said her final goodbyes and they started their journey towards the Capital.

"Master, it's kinda refreshing that you didn't act perverted this entire time."

"Heh, if there's someone that I would absolutely avoid angering, it's those two… but let's move on and start your practice Lelei."

"..."

The duo are now walking on a dirt road leading to the capital, Ainz is looking at the map, trying to memorize the important locations that might help them. He glanced at her daughter, staring at her necklace for a long time, smiling fondly at the gift of her new friend. He can't help but smile too even though his appearance can't have expressions.

My friends… Sigh, if only… I just can't help but remember them…

"You found a good friend Ayin, you should visit her once in a while once we settle in the Capital."

"Of course father! Once we find whoever this job is, I will visit her right away."

"That's not…" Nevermind… Hm?

In the distance, a strange blue skinned girl is staring at them, especially at Ayin. Ainz glanced at his daughter to find her staring as well, they locked eyes for a moment until the blue skinned girl looked away.

Blue skin, tattoos? wings, horns, feet… a dragonoid perhaps? But wow, what an indecent outfit… I'm thankful Ayin doesn't dress like that, what poor taste.

"Y-yo! Going to the capital?" The girl shouted as she approached.

"Yes, can we help you miss…?"

"Giselle, my name is Giselle! Hehehe."

"Umu, my name is Ainz and this is my daughter Ayin."

"...Nice to meet you."

"Y-yes, I was just joking Ayin hahaha!"

"Huh? What happened?"

"She tried to intimidate me, father, using her pathetic abilities not knowing she is beneath me." Ayin replied with a terrifying smirk.

"Eh? Did she try to control you somehow?"

"No, but she did try to flash her aura on me, I guess you're a demi-god? You're connected to those gods?"

What!? Demi-god!? Since those gods got swatted away they wanna place a spy on us now!?

"Y-yes to both, why did you ask?"

"I thought I made it clear to them to not bother me again, but it seems that it's not enough so they send you, what do you want?" Ayin is now glaring at Giselle and at any moment she may eat this dragonoid girl.

I guess my daughter valued her privacy a lot haha!

"I-I am not sent here to spy on you and your father, I'm here to be your friend."

"...Friend?"

"Y-yes…"

"Okay!"

EEEHH!? Aren't you a bit easy my daughter!?

"Hold on a second!" Ainz grabbed her daughter by the shoulders and dragged her a bit away from Giselle who seemed stunned for a moment.

Whispers: "Are you just gonna let her be your friend like that!? It is clear that she is going to spy on us! Second lesson! Don't be naive, my daughter!"

"Ehh… but father, whatever those gods do is going to be a waste on me anyways, they can't do anything to me, and they know what I can do to them. And besides, a new friend! I'm gonna have two friends now!"

Sigh "Well, I can't stop you Ayin, but here's a third lesson, don't be careless and be prepared for any possibilities, even betrayal." Ainz patted her head and let Ayin make her decision.

"Yes father, now, Giselle, right?"

"Ah! Yes! What is it?"

"Why do you want to be my friend?"

"Eh? Well, b-because Hardy-sama told me to be your friend."

"Hardy?"

"One of the 12 gods."

"I see, then maybe we can be friends for real, not just because your god tells you to." Ayin smiled, and Giselle, even though a heterosexual, can't help but blush, she admits that despite the terrifying experience Ayin inflicted on her, she is a really beautiful woman, easily rivaling her own god Hardy.

"Of course… It is as you said…"

"What's the matter? You're staring for a while."

"Ah! I apologize! Ahem! Say, you want to go to the capital right?"

"Yes, we are indeed heading there. They said back at the village that walking on foot takes 3 days."

"Hmp! Good thing you bumped into me! The great apostle Giselle!" She announced as she puffed her chest.

"Apostle?" Ainz interjected, interesting revelations after revelations he is hearing right now.

"Yes sir Ainz, we apostles are servants of the gods until we ourselves ascend into godhood."

"So if there's 12 gods, then there's also 12 demigods like you in this world?"

"Well, there's 13 of us in total but that one evolved on her own and serves no god. When she ascends, she will be a god too."

"Interesting… umu, well, we don't want to waste time, want to come with us to the capital? What do you say Ayin?"

"Yes father! I'd love to have a–! Someone's calling me… Lelei!?" Ayin shouted as she quickly flew away creating a rather large crater just because of the raw power behind that jump. Leaving Ainz and Giselle behind.

"Ayin!? Where would–."

Smoke? From that direction? That means… the village!?

"Ayin wait! Greater Teleportation!" Ainz also disappeared, only Giselle remained with a face full of terror, remembering what she did last night, and now knowing the power of Ayin, she made her biggest mistake that can cause her annihilation.

The Flame Dragon! Oh gods! I need to escape, she'll kill my soul!

An earth-shattering roar also reached her with a shockwave, tumbling her down, further increasing her panicked state.

I need to!

I need to!

Giselle!

Giselle!

Hardy-sama!?

You fool! Stop Ayin now! She'll go on a rampage!

Stop her now!

Stop her now!

This is your fault! Stop her NOW!

Y-y-yes!

Giselle quickly flew to the direction of the village only to see a more horrifying scene when she arrived. Ayin, fully transformed into her dragonoid form, holding a half eaten body and soul of the Flame Dragon. She saw how Ayin is munching the very being of the dragon, its soul is beyond saving and repair. She also saw her father standing behind her doing nothing. Only watching her daughter crying while getting her revenge.

The moment Giselle touched the ground, she saw Ayin turned to her, they stared at each other for some time until she felt something piercing her chest.

"Giselle… you stink of this dragon's smell, are you behind this attack?" Giselle trembles at the sight of her, everytime Ayin opens her mouth, dark mists of the void escapes from it and she smells the horrible stench of the damned souls.

Ayin now has dark scales all over her body except for her face, horns that are shaped and look like a crown, huge dragon wings that have a wingspan of 7 meters and a thick tail with a length of 5 feet. Ayin also appears to be taller, over 7 feet tall.

"Answer! Pathetic worm!" Ayin shouted at the shivering apostle.

"Y-yes, Ayin-sama." Giselle answered, she can't take it anymore, any exposure from the void coming out of Ayin's mouth is dangerous to her still mortal self. If she's not a fool and didn't act reckless, this wouldn't happen. She asked for help from her god. But nothing. Even her god didn't want to anger this monster in front of her. So she can only close her eyes in the face of her inevitable end.

I'm sorry…

Sniff…

Huh?

Giselle opened her eyes, only to see Ayin, crying even harder than before. She didn't understand why. She should die because of her mistakes, only the annihilation of her soul is the fair price.

"Why?"

"Nothing… Ayin-sama…"

"Are you really my friend?"

"No, but I want to…"

She felt herself being lowered down and the hand that was pierced in her chest is now gone, her crushed heart and the hole on her chest can be healed in time. She saw Ayin walk to a half burnt body of a young girl and continue to cry. Giselle just listened to her crying until her father approached her.

"Ayin…"

"Yes father?"

"You know I have the means to revive her."

"I know father, but I not only weep for her but for the village as well. They didn't deserve to die this horribly, they're only living their lives."

"Why didn't you kill Giselle then? She deserves it the most." Ayin saw how her father was pissed at the sight of Cato, she knew he was angry as well and his death aura confirms it. If not only for his daughter, he would've already killed Giselle when he learned the truth.

"...I don't want to lose another friend."

Friend… How long has it been… since the last time…

"...I thought the world bends to your will, my daughter, I want proof of it now."

"Father…"

"Everything will be alright…"

I didn't deserve any of this…

Unbeknownst to Ayin, Ainz and Giselle, the whole incident caused the whole of Falmart to shake, for the first time in their lives, an earthquake struck, destroying houses and infrastructures, costing the lives of thousands of Saderans.

"Your Majesty! Our estimate shows that 4000 people perished in the capital alone! And the other towns are still counting their deceased."

"What a great disaster, are the gods punishing us? Where are my sons and daughter?"

"Prince Diabo and Princess Piña are organizing and controlling the civilians as panicking is further increasing the death toll. While Prince Zorzal is…well… in his room with Tyuule."

"That fool, I expect him to at least use his slave as a shield for falling objects and debris."

Sigh

"You may return–"

"My Emperor!"

"Marcus, what reports do you have?"

"I think we've found the source of this disaster. Yesterday and just earlier before the shaking started, there were sightings of large explosions in the Coan Forest and near or possibly at Coda Village as well, some guards at Italica also heard a roar that they'd never heard of before. And then just seconds later, we experienced this shaking."

"Roar? Flame Dragon? No, even though they're formidable creatures, they're not strong enough to cause this much damage this far away…"

What the hell is happening? Apostles? No, Gods? Maybe, but why would they destroy an insignificant village?

"Marcus! Send a team there and investigate! If the gods are somehow behind this, we will apologize for any mistakes we made that somehow angered them, go!"

"Yes! My Lord!"

The Emperor of the Saderan Empire, Molt Sol Augustus, slouched in his chair, looking around, he saw many debris that came from the ceiling, they're not ready for this kind of calamity. And to think this was caused by some explosions worries him, if this was because of the gods, he can still make amends, but what if it's not? Then they are facing an unknown entity that is capable of shaking the earth. He got out of the throne room and ordered a guard nearby to call for Piña, out of the three, he trusts Piña the most. Maybe because he saw how she had the potential to be a good ruler when he gave up the throne or he is just fond of his only daughter and wanted her to be better. Diabo is decent but he is too ambitious and has the potential to be a traitor to his own Empire, and Zorzal is just a fool. At first, he wanted him to be the next Emperor but after seeing and experiencing his incompetence and lack of care, he now have doubts, some may see him as a cruel and heartless for what he'd done in past and in the present, but all of that is for the prosperity and survival of the Empire.

He saw Piña rushing to him through the hallway, accompanied by Bozes Co Palesti and Beefeater E Caty, they tried to kneel when they were in the proper distance to him but quickly motioned for them to stop.

"Father…what's the matter?"

"Piña, I have a feeling that we are going to face a great calamity if I don't do anything, so I want the three of you to accompany a team that is being sent to a village near Italica. If this disaster is caused by the gods, apologize and invite them immediately here, but if not, be cautious and learn anything you can, if it's a person, invite them too as well. We need to hold them accountable but seeing this mess, we need this power on our side. Am I clear?"

"Yes father!"

"Understood! Your Majesty!"

At the outskirts of the former Coda Village, many residents are hugging and relishing the new life they've been given. The Goddess that revived and gave them a new life, their village may be gone but they are glad that all of them are alive, their Goddess even granted youth to some people who wanted it. As of now, she is speaking with her father, some even call him Father-God as some people saw him revive Cato, but many argued that his daughter is more powerful and the only worthy of being a true god. The gods the people previously worshiped are now worthless in their eyes, as if not for their Goddess, they will not be living again.

"Father, I can't handle their worship of me, it's kinda embarrassing. I already told them that living their new lives again is enough for me but they seem to have misunderstood it."

"Well, that's humans for you my daughter, you can't stop them now but you can now guide them to their new fate, they have nowhere to go now. And we are in the middle of the forest."

"Lelei-san said that we should head to Italica as it is nearer than the capital. We will arrive in six hours on foot."

"I see, then we will head there as refugees, I just hope they will accept us."

"Why father? Is there a possibility that they won't accept us?"

"Yes. And that's another problem when that happens."

"Then let's just hope for the best father." Ayin answered cheerfully as his father pats her head.

"Umu, go to sleep now Ayin." Ainz reached for his Inventory and grabbed a cloth for her daughter to place it in the grass and another as a blanket. He watched his daughter sleep peacefully by his side until he felt a presence behind him.

"Ainz-sama…"

"What is it…Giselle…"

"I'm sorry for what I've done."

"My daughter already forgiven you, so I am too. But if not for my daughter, I will kill you right now."

"..."

"If you're not gonna sleep, watch over my daughter."

"...Yes, Ainz-sama…"

Ainz took to the night sky and watched the cosmos, her daughter said that she felt her mother's presence whenever she stared at it, but unfortunately for him, he didn't feel anything.

Kuyō… if what you said is true, when are you coming back? Not even a week in this world and our daughter already faced her first struggle and grief… just come here already… and help me… Sigh… what am I doing…

Ainz headed back down to the village, he watched how the people prostrated at the sleeping figure of his daughter before they slept themselves. It's kinda embarrassing as Ayin is drooling in her sleep, but they don't seem to mind. They ignored Giselle who is sitting beside her mostly because they didn't know that she is behind their death and also she's an apostle of a worthless god in their eyes. Either way he didn't care much about this dragonoid girl, he wanted her dead but his daughter's wishes and happiness is his priority.

In the morning, they ate their breakfast and are now preparing for a 6-hour walk to the city of Italica.

"Good morning Lelei-san!"

"Good morning Ayin-sama."

"What? Don't call me that, Lelei, please!"

"But, I owe you my life…"

"Don't worry about it, I told you, you're my friend and important to me. Besides, I just repaid the kindness you've given me, we are equal now Lelei."

"I see, thank you again." Lelei hugged Ayin and she happily returned it.

"Ayin, we are done here. Let's go." She heard her father call out to her and rushed to his side.

"Yes! Let's go, everyone!"

"Yes Goddess-sama!"

Ayin pouted a little bit but seeing the people smile at her with happy faces, she can't help but flash them her smile too.

Sigh… Goddess huh… well, as long as they're happy with it…

"W-what happened here!?

In front of Piña Co Lada, a scorching hellscape replaced the former Coda Village, with a half eaten Flame Dragon in the middle of the burning ground. They can only stand on parts that are not burning and tried to look for bodies but strangely they found none, only the Flame Dragon is there, and based on the teeth marks, something bigger and more powerful creature presumably a dragon is behind the destruction.

"Piña, this is not good, a creature that can eat a Flame Dragon like that… we should head back." Suggested her friend Bozes with fear on her face, taking a bit more longer can alert whatever monster that caused the death of a Flame Dragon.

"Yeah… let's head back… this is worse than I expected, look there's even a pool of lava…"

"Your highness!"

"What is it?"

"We found a trace of footprints not far from here! And they're heading north-west, the survivors must be going to Italica for refuge!"

"Then let's go there! We need to know what happened here!"

"Yes!"

"Bozes, let's go!"

"Umu!"

After 2 hours of following the trails, in the distance, they finally found a group of people, a rather large group.

What's this!? That's an entire village's population! So they all survived after all!?

Some people in the back saw them and pointed, Piña is relieved that they all survived but something is wrong, the more she approaches, the more her heart beats and she starts to sweat, feeling intense fear as if she is being stared at by a large predator. But it's not only her feeling this way, her entire squad as well.

"P-Piña, I know this may sound cowardly but I'm getting scared. I feel that I'm going to die if we approach any further."

"Beefeater, c-calm yourself. The Rose Order should not be afraid even in the face of death!" Piña said, but she is afraid as well, and it is intensifying. She is starting to breathe hard and tremble, even her horse is shaking. But she ignored all that and continued to approach with a smile. Some people are glaring at them, some are curious while a few are afraid.

"Good morning, I'm Princess Piña Co Lada, and these are my squad. We are here to investigate the explosions that occurred here, and on the way here we saw the remains of a Flame Dragon… May I know what happened?" She stared at the people for a moment until someone answered.

"What do you want?"

In the distance, she saw a red haired woman with tan skin, her deep blue eyes struck fear in the heart of Piña the moment she saw her.

This! This is the one who killed that dragon I'm sure of it!

Her soul is screaming at her to stay away from the woman but her pride as a princess and her mission stopped her from running.

"Neigh!"

"Woah!"

All of their horses started running away, leaving them stunned to the ground as to what happened, they are trained warhorses.

"Ayin, that's not an attitude you should give to a princess. Lesson three, show proper respect to persons in authority unless they are rude and not worthy."

"Yes father. Here, let me help you Princess Piña." The woman named Ayin held out her hand and she accepted it.

"T-thank you."

"You're welcome." Ayin replied with a bored expression.

"Umu, I am Ainz Ooal Gown and this is my daughter Ayin. How can we help you Princess Piña?"

"W-we just wanted to know what happened to the village because some reports said that the explosions caused the earth to shake all the way to the capital."

"An earthquake?"

Earthquake? What is that? Is that what you call when the earth shakes?

"Earthquake, yes! Thank you… um do you know what happened?... Sir…?"

"Umu, I know, and I apologize on behalf of my daughter." The strange masked man replied with a bow, even her scary daughter bowed to her as well.

"Well, I don't need to apologize, that lizard killed my friend so as a retaliation, I ate it. That's my revenge on pathetic creatures that tried to take what's mine." Ayin told her with anger, and Piña can only stare with terror at the woman in front of her who just ate a Flame Dragon.

"That's right! Goddess-sama also revived us all! She's the only one worthy of worship in this world!" Someone from the crowd shouted.

G-Goddess!? Is this girl just a vessel?

"W-which god? Is Ayin the name of your vessel?"

"What do you mean vessel, miss?" Ainz asked the Princess who is now sweating bullets.

"Well, t-the gods need a suitable vessel to descend to this world."

"How dare you! Those gods are worthless! Ayin-sama is the only true god!"

"I don't understand why gods need a vessel to begin with, but I am myself, no god inside me or whatever."

A new god!? But I've never heard of her name until now! No… Now is the time that I fulfill my mission!

"Please come with us to the capital! Miss Ayin!"

"Hm? Well, we are heading to Italica now, so…"

"Don't worry, I can arrange a carriage there for your use!"

"Then I don't mind, just don't hurt any of my people or I will kill all of you." Ayin warned them with a glare while flashing her aura directly at them. One of her soldiers fainted while some pissed in fear. Piña, Bozes and Beefeater let out a quiet yelp.

"Y-yes of course! The residents of the Coda Village are part of the Saderan Empire after all."

"Good."

"Umu, lead us Princess Piña." The tall masked man said.

"Y-yes."

The people gave way for her squad, and among them is a figure everyone knows well.

"Apostle Giselle!?"

The dragonoid apostle stared at her for a while then looked away. But Piña saw how lifeless her eyes are, different from what she had seen before.

Why? How can a proud apostle be reduced to something like this? What happened to you apostle Giselle?
