From Metaverse to Multiverse Trailer #2 and More Phantom Thief Descriptions

Only three new Phantom Thieves this time. Joining the alternate Goro Akechi/Crow to represent the 'Lonely Thief Universe' is…

Wakaba/Pharaoh: She's wearing a yellow full bodysuit without sleeves, and light blue boots, light blue gloves that go up to her elbow, and a light blue necklace with the Phantom Thief logo. Her mask is a blue and gold mask that resembles the Egyptian god of death Anubis. Her weapons are two khopesh swords and an automatic rifle. Her Persona is Hatshepsut with the new Earth skill.

Kunikazu/Colonel: He's wearing a mask similar to Haru's but silver. He also has a hat similar to Haru/Noir's, but it's a dark green with a red hat band and a small yellow feather. He also has a long sleeve light green tunic, a dark green cape, dark green gloves, beige pants, and brown boots. His weapons are a Halberd and a rocket launcher. His Persona is Bronson (As in actor Charles Bronson, whose design I specifically base on his character Paul Kersey from 'Death Wish') with Gun Skills and the new Cosmos skill

Sputnik/Jinx: Sputnik is a rabbit themed Poppet, a creature similar to Morgana, and she's a white and gray rabbit with a gray mask that covers most of her face and ears. She wears a black leather jacket and a blue bow around her neck. Her weapons are a baseball bat and bombs for throwing at enemies (these bombs are your typical cartoon bombs; the round, black bombs with the fuse). Her vehicle transformations are a Ford Transit, a Trawler boat, and a Private Jet. Her Persona is Mulan with the new Nature skill.

(Alright, let's begin. Also, if you haven't read the first trailer at the end of 'Persona 5: The Slice of Life' I recommend you do so)

(BGM: 'Fade Away' from inFamous 2)

(At the start of the trailer, we see Goro Akechi walking down the street on a rainy day. He's not smiling and looks sadder than he's ever been)

Akechi (v.o): There's one thing that every living being has in common; they're all going to experience loss of a loved one. In my case, I've lost eight of the best friends I've ever had.

(We get a brief flashback of the deaths of the Phantom Thieves as seen in 'The Lonely Thief' before we cut back to Akechi walking in the rain)

Akechi (v.o): Ever since that day, I vowed to never open myself up or make any other new friends so I'd never experience the pain of loss ever again.

(We then cut to a scene of Akechi eating lunch with Kunikazu Okumura and Wakaba Isshiki. Akechi just pushing his food around with his fork as he listened to the two older folks talk)

Akechi (v.o): Kunikazu and Wakaba would always try to get me to come out of my shell and learn to experience life again…but I just don't have it in me. I wish I could move on from this trauma like they have…but they weren't there to see my friends' demise first hand.

(The next thing we see is Akechi's daily life; waking up, taking a shower, grabbing a bite to eat, doing detective work, going home, heating up dinner in the microwave, eating said dinner in front of the T.V, then going to sleep)

Akechi (v.o): After I left my Phantom Thief life behind me, I prayed that I would never have to go back to the Metaverse for whatever reason. There were just too many painful memories there. But of course, in life, we don't always get what we want, do we?

(BGM fades out)

(We see Akechi asleep in his bed as he tosses and turns as a thunderstorm rages outside. After one particularly loud crackle of thunder, Akechi wakes up…but he's not in his room. He's instead in a rather familiar place; the Velvet Room! He looks to the side to find Lavenza standing there staring at him)

Akechi: Lavenza.

Lavenza: Hello, Goro Akechi. I've been expecting you.

Akechi: (Stands up) What's going on?

Lavenza: A conflict, far greater than the battle you had with Yaldabaoth all those years ago, is brewing as we speak. And you can't fight this new enemy alone.

(The next thing we see is the main antagonist Hoshigami, who is sitting on his throne looking down at the floor as the Multiversal Shadows bow before him. Akechi and Lavenza's voices are heard over this scene)

Akechi (v.o): What's his name? This new enemy?

Lavenza (v.o): He's the Father of Shadows; Hoshigami.

(Hoshigami looks into the camera with an evil expression as we cut to the 'meat and potatoes' of the trailer)

(BGM: 'Pain' by Jimmy Eat World (I'll be switching between instrumental and lyrics, BTW) on that note; Instrumental!)

(We then cut to the New Metaverse where we see Kunikazu, Wakaba, and Akechi, the latter of whom is in his Crow attire wandering around a forest-like environment)

Wakaba: I never thought I'd ever go to the place that I've been researching for all these years.

Kunikazu: It is quite the place, isn't it?

(Suddenly, they approach a clearing where they meet Sputnik, a rabbit-like creature, who is fighting off a group of Shadows. She seems to be doing well, but nevertheless Crow jumps in between her and the Shadows)

Akechi/Crow: Need some help?

Sputnik/Jinx: (Holds up her bat) Let's rock!

(The two of them charge forward and defeat the shadows as the chorus kicks in…)

(It takes my pain away! It's a lie, a kiss with open eyes and she's not breathing back! Anything would bother me! It takes my pain away! Nevermind these are horrid times! Oh, oh, oh! I can't let it bother me!)

(Akechi slices at Shadow Lumberjack in half with his Lumina Saber, while Sputnik knocks the head off of a Shadow Droog with a solid whack from her bat. Then, Akechi and Sputnik summon their Personas, Robin Hood and Mulan respectively, to deal with a Shadow Tyrannosaur. The Persona Mulan is wearing a red, armored kimono with brown boots a Chinese war helmet with a black feather and a brass mask, and is wielding two swords which it uses to summon a tornado of razor sharp flower petals to help cut the Shadow Tyrannosaur to ribbons while Robin Hood fires some of his arrows. When the dust settles, the Shadow Tyrannosaur is defeated, and Akechi, Kunikazu, and Wakaba have a new ally in the form of Sputnik the rabbit Poppet)

(Instrumentals)

(We then see Sputnik, Akechi, Kunikazu, and Wakaba walking along a forest path and conversing as we cut between that and clips of Hoshigami, all of the Poppets in a dungeon somewhere, and Sputnik and Remus getting separated. This is followed by the death of the other Phantom Thieves from Akechi's universe as Akechi himself talks)

Sputnik/Jinx: Master Philemon created us Poppets to try and stop Hoshigami from spreading the madness of the Metaverse all throughout the Multiverse. He captured everyone but my brother Remus and I. I need your help to find my brother and free my friends. What do you say?

Akechi/Crow: I don't want to get too attached to you. I've lost too much already.

Kunikazu: Loss is a part of life, Goro. How we deal with loss, that's the more pressing matter.

(We now see the group of four meeting up with the New Thieves from 'Slice of Life' Universe, as well as Ren and his group of Phantom Thieves from a different universe. It's at this moment we hear Joker talking through a voice over)

Ren/Joker (v.o): Your universe's version of us would want you to keep going and make the Phantom Thieves of Hearts proud.

(We then see Ren and Akechi talking in a botanical garden environment)

Ren/Joker: Let's fight this son of a bitch together!

Akechi/Crow: (Nods with confidence) Yeah, let's!

(The two men share a handshake as we get some more badass scenes as the chorus comes back)

(We first see Kunikazu and Wakaba turning into Colonel and Pharaoh respectively; Wakaba/Pharaoh charging at a shadow with her Khopesh swords while Kunikazu/Colonel fires his rocket launcher at another one. Next, we see Sputnik/Jinx and Remus/Tricky team up as Remus goes into his shell so Sputnik can kick him in into another Shadow. Next we see Shiho/Shinobi exchange fisticuffs with Ancient Greek Kamoshida. After that, we see Futaba/Oracle floating in mid-air as Necronomicon breaks apart and the pieces form around Futaba to form an black-and-green armored, Ancient Egyptian styled mech suit which she uses to fight off an army of Shadows; this is her Oracle 2.0 form. The next thing we see before we get to the instrumental is Hayato/Romeo, under some kind of corruption, taking out his Tommy Gun and opening fire on his own friends as they either run away or block his bullets)

(Epic instrumentals)

(The next thing we see is the group getting chased down by another Grand Reaper, the same type of reaper that claimed the lives of the Phantom Thieves from Akechi's universe. After that, we see Akechi staring down Hoshigami, along with Ancient Greek Kamoshida, Feudal Japan Madarame, Great Depression Kaneshiro, Wild West Shido, Sugimura, and Claudette. By his side is Ren/Joker, Makoto/Queen, Minato/Lion, Morgana/Mona, Sputnik/Jinx, and Remus/Tricky. They appear to be on a rooftop)

Akechi/Crow: Just because I've lost one version of my friends, doesn't mean I have to lose another one! (He takes out his Lumina Saber and points it as Hoshigami) This mess ends now, Hoshigami, with us!

(We then get a montage of Hoshigami fighting the Phantom Thieves throughout 'From Metaverse to Multiverse'. All of these fight scenes have Hoshigami's voice talking over them)

Hoshigami: You think you know pain…or loss…or loneliness? You have yet to spend a day in my shoes, Crow. I have been stuck here for so long, that I have become pain…I have become loneliness…and I have become your death!

Ren/Joker: Death never scared us before! (He summons Satanael as we end this montage with another chorus and some more badass scenes)

(First, we see Riku/Clockwork firing some flames from a flamethrower at a Shadow before he, Mai/Enigma, Futaba/Oracle 2.0, and Wakaba/Pharaoh jump out from the flames with melee weapons held high. That's followed by Haru/Noir leaping from a high tower towards Remus' Chinook Helicopter form as Kunikazu/Colonel reaches his hand out to catch her. Next, we see Kimiko/Angel taking aim at an unseeable enemy with a series of arrows in the shape of a heart as she does a flip through the air. Next, we see Haru/Noir facing off against Sugimura, who is wearing battle armor and cracking his knuckles, ready to fight her. Finally, in a cemetery, we see a figure dressed in a black and blue striped outfit with belts around his arms and legs, a cape, clawed gauntlets, and a black mask with red lenses. The black masked man's back is turned away from Akechi and the rest of the thieves; This is where we end the trailer)

Crow/Akechi: Who are you?!

Mysterious Man: Isn't it obvious?

(He turns around to show his face to the group, revealing himself as Black Mask Akechi!)

Black Mask Akechi: I'm you if you embrace the darkness inside!

(As the music fades out, we see Hoshigami's Construct Crystal creating the 'Persona 5' logo (P5) before the gem shoots lasers that reveal the full title, 'Persona 5: From Metaverse to Multiverse')

The final image we see are the same figures from the last trailer; silhouettes of another version of Ren, Ryuji, Morgana, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, Haru, Kasumi, and Zenkichi along with the previously mentioned Black Mask Akechi, who isn't silhouetted. Black Mask Akechi smirks wickedly at the camera as the other figures' eyes glow red before everything goes black, the last thing we hear being his voice saying…

Black Mask Akechi: They're not ready for us!
