As he watched as his new apprentice/student - he was not sure if he wanted to keep the traditional Jedi/Sith title for what Reva was - Anakin was proud of how far she had come; while he had gone out of his way to only teach his children that he'd fathered with Oola the basics about the Force after shielding them away from Palpatine and Vader, and the Inquisitors to prevent them from being kidnapped, as Force sensitive children created a noticeable aura within the Force, he had not gone into depth about what the Force could do.

He planned to let Boondock, Ahsoka, and the others enjoy their childhoods before he taught them in depth. For Anakin, training them was a two-edged sword. If he taught them how to wield a lightsaber or use the Force, their susceptibility to the Dark Side would be greater, but at the same time, he wanted to protect his family. There was no doubt in his mind Palpatine had been looking for him ever since the day he'd decided to break from Padme, and if that wasn't motivation enough, Anakin didn't know what wasn't.

Anakin had set up several spy networks over the years to keep track of things in the galaxy while finding places where he could conduct his operation. Anakin never made a move without consulting the networks to see if there was any sign of any Imperial activity. He had no intention of ever endangering his family.

Reva was getting better; as he had expected, the girl was only partly trained, by the standards of the Jedi. It was only her skills with the Dark side which made her so strong, and Anakin had needed to think long and hard about how he was going to go about training her.

Should he keep her on both sides of the Dark and the Light, or should he move her back to the Light?

Like himself, Reva had the potential to fall.

She had fallen.

And right now, Anakin's responsibility was to try to make her use her darker emotions, and she had dozens of them and he had quickly realised that, like himself, Ahsoka, and even Mace Windu, who used the darker emotions of his opponents against them while using his own negative emotions to help channel them into Vaapad form, he didn't want to stop her from using them, only he was teaching her to use her dark side emotions to more positive goals.

The problem with the Jedi on the whole was they looked at a Force user being angry and passionate, labelling instantly as Sith or Dark Jedi, and they refused to see the Grey.

Master Yoda had always said once you started down a path to the Dark side, that was it; the ancient toad had conveniently forgotten that in history, some people had famously let go of the Dark side. One famous example was Revan himself, and if he could do it, so could others.

Anakin had never understood why Yoda had such a biased stance on the concept, and it made him wonder if Yoda had tried to redeem someone after they'd turned, only for it to blow up in his face. But he didn't care; Reva was his responsibility now, and she was quickly excelling in her training.

It was his training with Reva which made him decide to train his children, including Luke and Leia.

Anakin smiled as he thought of the twins he'd had with Padme, the only bright spot of that nightmare of a relationship. He had spoken at length with Owen and Beru, as well as Obi-Wan to try to teach Luke how to control some of his powers, explaining at length the dangers of the Empire finding him. Luke was the most sensitive of the twins, and it wasn't difficult making it clear about the dangers.

Leia was the trickier; she took after him more in terms of personality, but she was smart and after discovering how her own mother had abandoned her, and that her adoptive parents while they loved her had their own agenda, had hurt her. But after Anakin had taken Leia back to Alderaan with Obi-Wan, Luke, and the other kids and Oola, Padme, and Master Windu, he had explained what happened to Bail and Breha Organa.

He had explained how he had left the Clone Wars, how Palpatine had activated a clone of him and that Clone was now running around as Darth Vader.

He explained that he had been helping the slaves the galaxy had abandoned on the Outer Rim, and eventually remarried a former slave like himself, and introduced Oola, who in turn introduced their children.

He had introduced Reva as the girl who had gone after the clone, using Leia as bait for Obi-Wan to come out of hiding, and how they had arrived on his planet. Okay, they weren't happy there, but there was not a thing they could do about it. They were just relieved that Anakin was not Vader second only to getting Leia back, and Leia, despite coming to love her real father and new stepmother (Force, their relationship was such a confusing tangle), was glad to be back.

It wasn't hard to make an arrangement; at certain times of the year, Leia and Luke would spend time with their father, learning the Force, and just generally having fun. Bail had humbly apologised to Anakin about the deceptions they'd used with Leia, but at the same time he had told the former Jedi he and his wife loved the girl, and Anakin sensed his sincerity; he had been all set to lose his temper with the man, but on meeting him again after so long, Anakin was pleased that he didn't.

But right now, Anakin was busy. He was stretching his networks to try to find Jedi lore, anything to help him take on the Sith and make the galaxy a kinder place for his family.
